Maybe we should kill off a few characters while they're not active. Jona, celia and Serene can be considered gone.

Ah Red.....Do not even THINK of doing that....

Or Iīll take out my secret weapon.......Remember Iīm a mod and mods CAN do very nasty things....Besides I have allies among the scary admins....
Serene, Jonacin and Celia are still amongst the living ones.....

I believe we decided on five years later we are searching for te eye of Argonia and we are definatly starting in a bar. By the way, don't start a fight with anyone, Darus is a bouncer and is good at beating people to unconciousness. Hehe, he picked a Bosmer up by the back of the shirt and threw him off the balcony. The Bosmer (who attempted murder) fell two stories and landed on a roof. The Darus jumped out the window and took him to a guard tower.

Notice how this thread has accomplished very little future planning wise?
I've noticed, we need to decide soon where the next RP will take place, basic plot points, and how long is it after the last one. Then again, we'll need to finish the last one as well.

Well, going with the 'Eye of Argonia' one, it could start somewhere in Morrowind, in the southern Mainland. Which is Dres Territory.
Of course, EVERYONE seems to want it to start in a tavern. So lets say one Dres noble has heard of this eye, and wants someone to find it, and the city it unlocks, then bring back any treasures found. So he sends someone to recurit at this tavern (hey, since its Dres territory, and we want to be in the south, we could put it in 'Tear' the Dres capitol.
From there, there could be several dungeon romps in Argonia, some stops in towns, run ins with Slaver groups from Dres looking for slaves (Or Argonians who think WE'RE a Dres slaver group.) Eventually finding the Eye and setting off for the city....
What it holds...well. THAT is a good place for some interesting plot-twists...

We need a way to incorporate opposing sides, maybe not even necessarily good vs. evil. I actually like the Great House idea. And not EVERYONE wants it to start in a tavern. That depends on the person, and I daresay that you could start in a completely different place.

Dres is a Great House on the Morrowind mainland. They deal heavily in slaves, and are the producers of most of Morrowind's food (which most of the slaves are working to create).
Two teams sounds interesting. Perhaps the other team is from another great house.
Like, Telvanni. Dres don't like them. None of the great houses really do.

Seriously though, I don't care who runs it, as long as it's based on the house wars instead of the eye of argonia. The eye of argonia seems too much like an indiana jones film; find the archeological site before the other guy and get a reward from some government or other.
Whereas the House wars has a chance for some optional political intrigue, (yes, I said optional, MerGirl, I know you don't like politics.) a lot of action (wars, duh) and also gives two or more factions to choose from. Hell, you could even be a freelancer. GO House Wars!!!

I believe the most simple would be Dres hates Telvanni, Telvanni hates everyone. Personnaly, I believe that the two combatents are Telvanni and Dres, who deal in slavery the most. And the reason they both want the Eye of Argonia is because they believe big slave imports. But, Dres wouldn't tell you about the slave plans because that might damadge recruiting. So that could add another few people who are fighting against the slavers and in turn, the main group. As for running the RP, I would be happy to run it, but you all would have to wait about until next Friday-ish.

QUOTE(Megil Tel-Zeke @ Aug 25 2005, 11:17 PM)
good point dantrag, but i'm not to familiar on the standings of the houses.
House Hlaalu - highly imperialized House, the other Dunmer houses have a strong dislike for them because they've given up tradition and accepted the Empire. These guys are manipulative and sneaky.
House Redoran - Traditional, honorable (Dunmer Honor! For the record, which is different from the Honor a ...say...breton might display

), feirce and deadly warriors, stand in good with the Temple, and are somewhat anti-imperial (not very much, so long as they keep their stuff they seem fine).
House Telvanni - Definatly pretty anti-imperial, these House is riddled with powerful magicka users and madness. they are isolationist in the extreme, and somewhat traditionalist. But have no ties to the temple, and many likely dislike it (hence the lack of temples in Telvanni territory.)
House Indoril - Another Warrior house, these guys are fanatical in their faith to the Tribunal Temple, and are Zealous Warriors, outmatching most Redoran Warriors. Unfortunatly the house is somewhat weakened and small, but has many members in the Temple.
House Dres - Very Traditional, but not particulary Temple-worshipers, they DO hold temple priests in high regaurd however. These guys are heavy into the whole Ancestor worship thing, pratically every house has a shrine to the ancestors. No matter how large. These guys are massively into the slave trade and are the main food-source for morrowind. In addition, Dres has some kickass giant Flying Wasps known as 'Parraptons'. They're typically used as mounts.
Not the best account of the stances, but accurate enough. Suffice to say it allows for political intrigue, big boat fights, smaller fights, and such.

-So we are in for a house-war-RP, run mainly by Aki.....
-We are open for politics, intrigues, battles you name it.....but not compulsory we start somewhere, some meet in a bar some maybe start out somewhere else...
-There are room for sidequests...like the argonian thing or other ....weīll see where it leads
-We have to try not to have OOC -posts in the actual RP-thread, just when itīs urgent like
-We also have to keep the plan/discussion thread on topic and spamless
-I also suggest when we are lots of role-players online that we open a chat-channel on chatspike to discuss events..itīs faster that way.
-Aki comes up with the necessary background for this RP, if he needs input he will ask for it
Everybody OK with the above???

It is as if we were creating an oblivion or morrowind RP version, we want freedom but also the option of a main storyline.
Minque for the guidelines for the next RP I think we need to add that, any who join the RP have to be serious about it, and plan on keeping up with it until either
a) they want out and leave in a coherent manner, knowing that in doing so they relinquish their spot in the RP. Granted if someone has to leave for some reason but wish to return that can be arranged, say they leave becuase they ahve been assigned an individual quest, then when they return from their vacation etc. they can post about how they finished the quest and are now rejoining the rest of the chars.
b )They die (with consent of course)
c) the Rp ends.
Also for the rebuilt cities, willw e include them in the new Rp? and if they are shall we give them the name "new ______" I.E. the rebuilt Vivec will becalled "New Vivec" or mayb the can be renamed entirely becuase vivec no longer resides in Vivec....type thing O.o dunno just an idea.

And if they want out...or go on vacation..very good ideas...Iīm sure Aki agrees....
I think we shall rebuild the major cities...and name them...hmmm i donīt know but maybe the same name..but that must be discussed in that case

QUOTE(Aki @ Aug 10 2005, 06:01 AM)
I say that the new RP picks up from the last RP (AMU), so that we can continue with one thing that has happened in it. The Emopire's gone to hell and is falling apart. The Emperor's dead. Etc.
So, perhaps the Empire splinters into factions all vying for the throne...
Or, maybe it managed to come back together because this time the Emperor had a rightful heir, and we do something else.
Hm.
Maybe..a diplomatic/exploration expedition to Akavir, which is known to be hostile to Tamriel, and try to get them to join the Empire, of course...not all of them would agree.
Or maybe a grand trerasure hunt to find the fabeled 'Eye Of Argonia'! Which susposedly is the key to a lost argonian city. Being that its so vague, we can work in lots of twists and such. And Dungeon crawls with traps and stuff.

So... has the RP been decided then? I personally think we should deal with the Empire in collapse. Provinces are warring, racial tensions higher than ever, roving bands of toughs taking advantage of the chaos, Guilds attempting to exert control over a public they no longer have any authority over, former Legion supporters being out of work and idle possibly turning to raiding or keeping peace, new factions vying to either destroy the last vestiges of socitey... or destroy it. I would really enjoy an RP like such.
