What a wonderful Saturalia / New Life open house dear Rider hosted! Dawnshadow in Reapers March was beautifully fixed up with a Festive-Forest feel that, not surprisingly, drew plenty of wood elves around to enjoy it.

I did remember to grab a couple screenshots:

Thanks, haute, it was real fun, we needed to leave early, but I'm glad we could attend the festival.

Like Acadian said, it was a wonderful time at Dawnshadow! Everyone seemed to enjoy the Winter Solstice there as much as they have at Pariah's in the past. Beloved Buffy was the first to arrive, but it wasn't very long before our dear friend Jerric came through the red gate in his holiday finery.

Of course, Julian was happy to give them a tour of her latest decorating efforts. The Outdoor New Life Tree welcomed guests to our newest home. Nuzi provided drinks from the Open Bar next to the Outdoor Lounge. Everyone loved the Waterfall Garden, complete with a little Crimson Dragonfrog for insect control.
The Outdoor Dance Floor was particularly appealing, with live performances from the AnderSNOW Sisters! They do take requests, though they know only three tunes. With a brief visit to the Outdoor Buffet to grab some holiday cookies, it was time to go through the Red Door.

Inside, Maz took over hostess duties and continued the tour. The Indoor Buffet was even more impressive, complete with a Keg of Mead for Jerric and a wide variety of wines, liquor and food for all. At the base of the stairs one could rest in a lovely Sitting Parlor and admire the Indoor New Life Tree. However, the sound of music drew the friends upstairs, to admire a Gaming Parlor and a small Reading Nook. In between, a Knife In the Floor reminded visitors to Cut the Rug.

It didn't take long for Shonta and Calia (Lopov and mALX) to join us, and with the AnderSNOW Sisters providing accompaniment, we christened the Outdoor Dance Floor with some pretty smooth moves. Jerric graciously left to let Lil come join the party, while Calia sent Malan. The three Bosmer lasses managed to convince Malan to strip down and dance with them in the basin at the foot of the waterfall.

Shonta and Malan had to leave, but the three Bosmeri couldn't stop dancing. Lil played the lute wonderfully for quite some time. Then it was back to the AnderSNOW Sisters so all three lasses could dance together.

Some time later, after the ladies left to rest, the lovely Kalea Ko came to visit. Do Rah welcomed her and they spent some time conversing in the Waterfall Garden. During this time Cincinnati came and visited briefly. He did partake of the open bar and buffet. Later in the evening, Julian entered our Dawnshadow in DDA's Festive House contest. We do not expect to win, but we are about having our Housing Guildies enjoy our efforts as well.

Julian, Maz, Alise, Argis, Phae, Do Rah and Stefan thank everyone who came and enjoyed our newest holiday home. It is a very different experience from Pariah's, and yet we hope all had as much fun here as everyone had at the cold yet cozy Wrothgar Mountain Home.

It may go without saying, but I will state that anyone who missed the open house yesterday is more than welcome to ping me while I"m in game to come visit the new house.

Another wonderful Saturalia at Haute's!!!! Misa (not Calia; though the confusion is probably due to the fact that Misa was drinking heavily enough to LOOK like Calia would if she was there, ) immediately spotted (and made a beeline for) the open bar and started competing with Jerric for having the most mug-fulls of Mead!


Next she headed over to the buffet area for some of Haute's Awesome Saturalia cookies!

She doesn't even remember the trip home from the party; but Malan said that from her drunken slurring and rambling descriptions of the trip to him it sounded something like this:

Malan did follow the weaving trail of her poor horse's hoofprints back to Haute's and enjoyed meeting everyone. (whether that feeling was mutual from the others is unknown, )

I left early to shuffle my inventory for the SneakyBo Auction tonight; and was still working hard at it at 1:30 this morning when one of the other SneakyBo Officers got on Teamspeak and reminded me that it was cancelled for two weeks! GAAAAAH! I missed the party for nothing!!!

Well, technically I actually had to clear that inventory out anyway because my Plus membership ends in three days = don't want to be locked out of my bank like some of my friends have been, urgh.


Wonderful, WONDERFUL party, (as your parties always are) Haute!!! You are an amazing Hostess!! Thank you so much for all you do for us every year throwing these AWESOME bashes!!!!








Misa drank like a banshee; and even whirled around on the dance floor after huge consumptions; but was unable to puke all over Haute's carpets in your honor; Being a Nord; she just has such an iron constitution that anything that goes in just ... stays in. Sorry; but she did try,

Calia was dying to go - and she would have been able to puke all over the place without even eating bad meat! Unfortunately; Calia always gets drunk and takes her top off; (notice Buffy pretending not to know her by digging in her backpack...) so...she doesn't get invited to these things very often, lol.

Yeah, that screenshot was of her getting on stage and trying to help the performance by caterwauling singing along with the musicians and dancing. That was the first day she ever met Buffy; and she managed to puke all over poor Buffy right away (and make a REALLY bad first impression, urgh).

You mean that Cincy and I missed scantily-clad video game women?!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Unfortunately, I came later on in the day, but I did get to visit Grits's new Khajiit character and a couple of HER's toons. HER's Dawnshadow is a spectacular place. Also, Evelona Mathieu got to stop by.
