"...Reach into my mind? I suppose..." Anthanes looked skeptical.

Celia blinked. "You were what?" she asked, confused on what Niran was trying to get at.

"Well its worth a try I suppose, just relax"

Megil sat down and began meditating, sending his mind into Anthanes's. He searched for Anthanes's memories but found them blocked by a powerful barrier. Megil focused and tried to get past the barrier, it was hoever to powerful and it resisted being probed into. the retaliation knocked Megil out of his meditation.

"Well so much for that, guess you wil have to try and remember on your own."

"Right. Well, too bad. Coming to think of it, I'm not sure I -want- to remember..." Anthanes sighed. "What've I done.."

Do you mind if I have a try? Serene said slowly, I managed to get into Sel´s and Niran´s minds before....

"What?! Where?! When?!" Anthanes turned around, seeing Serene.

"Oh. I didn't realize you followed us outside...By all means, go ahead."

"Uh, well, Celia. I'm sorry . . " He stood not looking towards her, his face turned to the side.

Serene looked emotionless at Anthanes.....I want you to remember what you have done.....she said, then prepared for the mind-diving

Celia tilted her head. "Sorry for what?" she asked, confused. There were many things Niran had done... but what thing would he be apologizing for?

She shrugged. "Never mind, I have already forgiven you." She smiled good-naturedly, "After all, what kind of friend holds a long-lasting grudge?"

She patted Niran's shoulder and then went about to healing the injured Ashlanders who had survived the terrible event.

"Wait...Coming to think of it, I'd prefer it if you didn't..."

This isn't going to be good.

Niran nodded and followed her, watching as she healed the Ashlanders.

I don´t see that you have any choice! Serene replied coldly, closing her eyes in concentration



This is gonna be really good.....hehe

"Arrgh! NOOO!" Anthanes got filled with remorse, and anger, as memories began returning to him...painful ones, mostly. He looked at Serene with pure hatred and anger. "...Get...back...you...don't...want...to...RRRAGH!"

Anthanes jumped at Serene with his longsword, hacking away at the woman brutally but not with a lot of precision.

Celia's ears perked up. She glanced at Niran as she healed. "Do you hear shouting or is it me?"

Megil stood watch over Serene and Anthanes, to prevent anything, such as what just happened, from happening. Megil concentrated and aimed for anthanes's chest. He kicked the man and with a slight touch of magic knocked him back several feet.

"I'm sorry anthanes, but you lost the safeguard of "a man's mind is his own" the moment you chose to attack the ashlanders, you must suffer the consequences of your actions,"

"Yeah," Niran turned around, "Come on, there might be a fight happening." He took off towards the direction of the sound, and eventually stumbled outside.

Serene barely avoided to get chopped up from Anthanes sword, and as she was taken by surprise she was very thankful to Megil for covering up for her

She stretched out her left hand and hissed at Anthanes:

Du skall minnas vad du gjort, du skall plågas av dina minnen tills jag befriar dig!


(translated from swedish: You shall remember what you have done, you shall be tormented from your memories until I set you free)

Anthanes slumped to the ground, a wreck of a man, as Serene spoke her curse in some obscure arcane language. "No...! NO! NOOOOOOOOOO!" And thusly, the half-dunmer continued screaming "No" for some time.

Niran grabbed hold of Serene and shook her

"Stop it! What is the point of dwelling on what he has done, torture will solve nothing."

Serene wrenched loose from Niran, rapidly turning towards hin, with an angry grin in her face:

"You!! let go of me, you haven´t done anything good here so far", she sent a piercing "arrow" into his brain, causing him immediate pain....

She watched the tormented half-dunmer crawling on the ground.......and felt almost sorry for him..she didn´t want to take his life or make him insane..so she lifted her hands with a sigh and chanted:

Du har fått ditt straff, jag befriar dig från dessa minnen..


(translated: You have had your punishment, I set you free from these memories)

She added one more thing though.....but wouldn´t reveal that jus yet.....a little something....

OOC: We will make Anthanes more decent now right???

Anthanes got up, rubbing his head. "Urmgh. WHAT IN OBLIVION WAS THAT GOOD FOR?!"

Niran slumped against the wall, shaking violently, his hand on his head.


(OOC: Oh be careful! Stendarr is still there, why do you think Niran is acting so kindly. The god of mercy, )

Good for?? Serene spat at Anthanes, " Do you think I´ll just stand by and watch you slaughter my friends, theses quite innocent people, women and children who haven´t done you a thing?"


She then spat out just one word at Anthanes

"TYST!!! (be silent)

Konrad woke up from his trance, the clouds just below him as black as coals. "Where is everyone?" he asked himself quietly, just audible to himself over the rain beneath him. He dived down and landed smoothly on the ground, just by the ruin. He looked up at the sky and concentrated on the clouds, moving them quickly away from the shrine to storm over the lake. He entered the ruin carefully, picking his way in between bodies.

OOC: konrad you are violating my powers O.o

I know, i discussed the inability of telekinesis to control water in the planning and discussions thread. and clouds are water

Anthanes muttered, remorse obvious in his matter. "...that...was not me...well, it was me, but... it was not something that I'd have done...well, I did still do it, but...it was a different me...GRRNH!"

You'll die a slow and painful death...UNGRH...no...yes, you will...you will, witch...slowly and...

OOC: Telekinesis!

(OOC: Telekinesis can affect weather? I thought it was solid objects only, but what do I know?)

IC:

Celia slowly followed Niran, fearing for the worst. She saw Serene with a mad expression on her face, and Celia shivered. Serene was not one to mess with when angry...

Celia also noticed the battlemage's break-down and raised an eyebrow. Confused as always, she walked over to Serene and gently placed her hand onto Serene's shoulder. "Will you be all right, Serene? If it makes you feel any better, at least most of the Ashlander children and women have survived and I healed some of the surivivors..."

Niran pushed himself upright, an angry expression on his face.

"Damn you." he said softly yet angrily, this would not sit well with him.

(OOC: Now Serene is hated by Niran about as much as Megil. )

She now remembered Niran, ahh she just wanted him out of the way, but surely he was very angry at her now, because of the magic arrow she sent to his head, so she rapidly released him from the spell.....


Celia´s information about the situation amongst the ashlanders pleased her greatly, oh what would they have done without that sweet altmer....

"Thank you sweetie she said smiling, taking Celias hand......but the smile froze on her face as she read Anthanes thoughts....

she shrugged......Jonacin, i´m going to die,,.....

Anthanes scowled at Serene as he stomped off into the ruins.

Where is he going?

Niran followed after Anthanes, his hand on the hilt of his sword.

Serene saw Niran and Anthanes walk away and decided to follow....just in case they was up to something foul to the remaining ashlanders....

She knew Sinnamu Mirpal would be in there and also Sedrane.......she readied the Vomica Cruor-spell and knew she wouldn´t hesitate to use it if necessary, also she had the spell which brought back Anthanes´memories ready.....

She knew without seeing that Jonacin followed behind her

Konrad entered the room where all the others were, blood sprayed about unpleasantly on the walls. Konrad frowned, then watched Seren follow Niran and Anthanes.

Where are they going?

Konrad walked over to Celia, "So why are we letting Anthanes go? Didn' he just murder all these people?" he asked her. He kicked the floor gently with his scuffed boot, whistling a mysterious tune quietly.

Otik Started wandering the ruins, wondering if there was anything to find or do. Just as he was about to go throu a door he thought he saw the one evil guy being followed by
Niran and decided to draw his bow.

Otik snuck over to Niran and wispered, "hey whats going on? Looks like a parade, Senene and a couple other people are following you and ugly up ahead"

(ooc: hey whens the last time anyone has eatn in the rpg? lol)

"Yeah basically." Niran responded still following.

Anthanes scowled at Serene as he turned around.

"Leave me alone, you self-righteous wench, if you know what's good for you."

Anthanes said this more matter-of-factly than threatening.

Megil watched the procession, and having nothing else to do joined in O.o

OOC: so much for nice anthanes

Serene felt the hatred from Anthanes and somewhat from Niran but she wasn´t afraid, she would gladly give her life to save these ashlanders but still she felt the pain from the hate...

"Jonacin won´t let me die....." nor will Megil...

(OOC: Nor would Niran, even if he hates her. I thought Anthanes was silent or something)

"Keep silent Anthanes, do not insult her." Niran said, his hand still on the hilt of his sword.

"Leave me alone, dammit! I am not going to kill anyone, except maybe you. You're only making it worse."

Anthanes continued walking.

Otik was hesitent to follow after what the man said (Otik still doesn't know the guys name) but desided to follow anyways, but He put an arrow on his bow just in case he tried to pull anything.

She said nothing trying to shove off the blind hatred from Anthanes......

In the outer shrine she met Sinnamu Mirpal who embraced her and dragged her into a corner whispering:

"Sedrane has vanished, do you think he´s been killed by that dreadful man?"

Serene shook her head, turned away and murmured:"I´ll go look for him, I think i know where he can be"

Niran continued following Anthanes, this time very closely, he found the death threat amusing.

Megil reached over to otik, and motioned him to remove the arrow from the bow,

"I know what you're doing, but let's wait and see what happens before we knock arrows into our bows."

"ok fine, but if he makes ONE fast move I'll have an arrow on him in no time" Otik said that last part for just about everyone to hear (expesially you Anthanes)

Anthanes grunted. "Leave me alone, dammit! That goes for all of you!"

When Serene was looking for Sedrane she overheard Anthanes´words and then she all of a sudden got extremely angry. She activated her levitation shoes and in 3 seconds she landed just in front of Anthanes, She grabbed his shirt just under his chin and shouted:

"NOW YOU LISTEN TO ME!!!

YOU did a gruesome crime, and YOU have to take responsibility for it, yu don´t feel the slightest guilty of the crime and that is just sick!

I really should kill you here and now.......but you are not worth the effort, so you just GET THE H*** OUT OF HERE....!!!!!!!!!

Shaking from anger she let go of his shirt and rapidly levitated out of his reach.....

Konrad walked away from Celia tutting, and walked over to Serene. "You know, it's really not worth shouting at him. It owuld be better just to forget about him and mourn your friends. Leave him to us." Konrad told her, following Anthanes also. He drew his sword slightly, an inch of the perfect silver blade dazzlingly visible in the dankness of the ruin.
