lol yes I do, so many stories to read, critic, etc.
yes I did have a nice vacation, went to a race track, shot off fire works, drank a load of soda, had some fun in D.C. (lots of walking), shot guns, got something one notch above a friend who is a girl (I think so atleast lol), and all sorts of stuff.
p.s. what happened to the wizards and the other new smilies??? don't tell me I made it all up in a dream or something.

Its like when i try to open one of those damn MREs and I add to much water and it explodes in my lap burning me with hot vegies and meat. :paperbag:

Or like last week when I was talking to someone while putting my food in the heating device and forgetting to take my hand out when I had let go of the food. I guess i was to wrapped up in the conversation. That hurt... :embarrassed:

Aww poor Wolfie and Jona! Not getting dinner when expected is cruel..ask my daughter sheīs ripping down the walls if she doesnīt find sometghing to eat when sheīs home from her diving-training!
And Jona...hmmm simultaneous capacity is a female thing! I mean talking and putting food in a warming device at the same time is reeeeeally difficult for a man! Then those accidents happen!
(btw whatīs a MRE???)
:goodjob:

MRE stands for Meal, Ready-to-Eat and is currently the main individual operational ration for the U.S. military. MREs are meant to be completely self-contained meals that provide all the nutrition a solider-on-the-go needs to sustain him/herself. Typical contents include entree, side dish, crackers, peanut butter/cheese spread, desert, instant coffee/tea, matches, toilet paper, spoon, and a heater to heat the main entree. While everything in an MRE can be eaten cold, it usually tastes better warm.
Amd there freeze dried. So you have to heat them up using some sort of chemical reaction.
Step one) Open all that crap.
2) Pour water form canteen into small plastic bag to start a chemical reaction which generates extream heat to cook your food.
3) place food item(s) in plastic bag and close
4)wait a min or two and open bag
5) take out and eat.

Except for the scrambled eggs. Doesn't matter how hot you get them or how many spices you add- you would be better off just putting the salt, pepper, and hot sauce directly into the water (and leaving out the powdered eggs.)
Kind of like the old "How to Cook a Carp" Recipe
Step one: Nail carp to board
Steps two through 200: do various arcane seasoning and cooking steps.
Step final: Throw away the carp and eat the board.

I've had a few, and a WWII ration. Mmm, classic WWII bread and jam. Tasty. Though remind you, I'm not in the military. Ever had an astrounaut suppliment bar? Strawberry flavoured... stuff that can last longer than the human race.

I gots to try me that carp recipe...
I can't remember having powdered eggs ever when camping, but most of the time the food turns out great (apart from when I spilt washing up liquid all over it...).
Oh, and one of the hardest things in the world to eat - uncooked prawn crackers. Think of the toughness of uncooked pasta, and then multiply it by about 100. It's taken me over an hour before simply to manage to swallow one, which is just a small disc around an inch in diameter. That being said, they weren't much better when I'd cooked them...

Back at work (such as it is). Spent the weekend planting flowers I had ordered for Mrs. Treydog's birthday. (Day lillies, to be precise). Discovered that one of our apple trees had blown over in the storms early last week

Earlier this spring, we had tried to rescue them by cutting out all the vines and stuff- maybe that was all that was holding the poor old thing up....
