Anthanes rose from his chair.

"What quarrel is it that you have with our young friend here? I suggest you refrain from using violence, green-skinned one with tusks, unless you wish to end up like him." Anthanes jerks his thumb towards Niran, who is still paralyzed.

"I beg your pardon sir?" said Megil to the orc," but my young friend said nothing to you. he was motioning the bartender for some ale"

OOC: He misinterpreed the gesture.

Sel didn't move. "Maybe the boy will finally get his lesson in the form of an orc fist." he said quietly to himself.

tapping into some energy, Megil sends Anthanes a telepathic message

"We don't need a fight"

I don't want the kid getting beat up by the orc. A fight is irrelevant.

Anthanes smirks at the orc.

The Orc got enraged with the blank look of surprise on Konrad's face. "Don't play fick with me! Tell me what you sed or I'll get you." Konrad stared back, blinking slowly.
"I don't know what you are on about." Konrad whipered, as the orc's eyes popped.
"What! That's it!" The Orc drew his blade slowly.

and you threaten an orc. It likes lighting a fire beneath a bull. You will only anger him
Megil gives Anthanes a piercing look
"Sorry for the misunderstanding sir," said Megil to the Orc, "I'm sure you will overlook the misunderstanding if I were to buy you a drink"

"...or two" as he saw the orc head for his blade. instinctively he put his had on Konrads shoulder and placed himself between the orc and Konrad

Anthanes unsheats his longsword, getting between the boy and the orc.

"The only blood spilled here will be yours, orc. Stand down or I'll make your wish your mother never had an accident!"

Now that a blade was in play, Sel jumped from his seat - the boy needed a lesson, not an execution.

"Put the sword back in its sheath." Sel ordered the orc as his own sword cleared its scabbard, its glow bathing the room in green.

OOC: Oops, called Niran a Dunmer accidently.

IC: Shakur stood is shock. The Lycanthropy in him was screaming 'KILL THE ORC! RIP OUT HIS TUSKS!' but Shakur refrained. He stood up and spoke "I'll handle this everybody. Sir, I appologize for my friends misunderstood gesture, but I don't believe violence would be the best way to settle this? How about me and you in a battle of wits?".

The orc pushed the table over towards Megil, snarling. "I'll get you all! You are all teensy little children." He slashed at Anthanes as he sent a lightning bolt from his hand at Sel.

Knocking an arrow on his bow, Megil launched the arrow at the lightning bolt. as they met the lightning fizzled out of existence and the arrow thuded into the wall.

"You fool" Megil turned to the orc

"Prepare to die, orc!" Anthanes sent several stabs at the orc's heart, while casting a burst of fire which he also sent at the orc.

Sorry, my post didn't match

He stood staring out the window pane, by his best guess it was mid-day. "Ok.. I was on a mountain, and I remeber two people, a man and his wife." Falx continued while focusing on the green leaves of the trees, "..They buried me.. Why I can't remeber, I wanted to scream, to do anything! But nothing would leave my mouth..." He looked clearly distraught now and hid his face from Selvia.

"It's ok, surely the stress has taken its toll, but its good of you to empty yourself of your burdens" The lady smiled and rubbed the back of Falx's head, "Do you need anything? Food? Water? If so help yourself to the pantry down the hall"

Falx's gaze returned to the window as Selvia left.

The Orc laughed as the fire curled around him, not even singing his eyebrows. He blocked the slashes easily, attempting to barge the battlmage backwards by shoulder barging him.

stepping back Megil knocked another arrow on his bow, took careful aim and sent it flying towards the orc's skull

Jonacin had wandered around Ald' Ruhn for several hours, with no sin of Serene. He was beginning to get worried.

OOC: Dantrag, if you would be so good as to have Arcyatk(sp) appear for a brief monent to say he's kidnapped Serene, i would be much obliged

Anthanes growled as he was pushed back by the orc. Dammit...What is this, some sort of orcish demigod? My magicka is depleting...I must choose spells carefully...what if...Never tried it before...It's a risk, but I must take it.

"This stays between us!" Anthanes shouted as he begins chanting in Daedric, making arcane gestures. In a swirl of magic, a Dremora from Oblivion appears in the midst of the tavern, a fearsome daedric blade held high.

"How's that, Orc?"

Mage

The mage appeared behind Jonacin.

"Hello, Jonacin." he said with Serene's voice.

(he isn't disguised as her though, just playing head games as usual.)

Megil watched and Anthanes summoned the beast, and when he saw it he knew it was a gamble. He could sense the mages magicka was almost entirely drained and wondered if he had enough left to control the dremora

"Arthanes are you sure you can handle that demon."

The Orc just leant back, the arrow flying just above the bosmer barman's head. "I am not your average orc. I am the champion of the arena. I defeat all my foes." He threw two small knives at Megil, then slashed at the whole party in a large sweeping arc of his longsword.

oops...

So watchful was he of the summoning he barely saw the blades flying towards him, seeing them just in time to dodge a lethal blow. one sunk into his shoulder, while the other cut his arm and went crashed into a pitcher that sat on the shelf behind him. Megil dropped down to one knee to take care of his wound

Jonacin span around. "Ser-.......... You honoured user. What have you done with Serene?" he said to the mage, his sword flashing into being in his hand

Osano

He felt Arcyakt's power coursing through his veins. He also heard Arcyakt's will.

They have not completed their part in my game - destroy the orc.

Osano was happy to oblige. he drew his dai-katana. This orc would be easy.

The Orc looked warily at Osano, but figured his Daedric longsword would be as much of a match if he was clever. The Dremora in front of him did not worry him in the slightest, and he drew his shield.

Anthanes jumped back at the Orc's strike.

Gah..no...magicka...left...must...destroy...him...

Anthanes then proceeds to send several vicious strikes at the orc's side.

"Don't be so rash, Sword Singer." Arcyakt continued in Serene's voice. "She is safe and sound - in a cell. You could come visit me any time...here's a map to my home." he said with an evil smile. "We could talk over dinner. Doesn't that sound nice?"

He removed the blade from his shoulder and closed the wound with a spell. Still his arm would be uselss for an hour or two. Seeing anthanes panick, Megil knew his physical skill would no hold him for this battle. In meditation he drew forth all the power within him.

From an outsiders perspective, one would see Megil floating in the air, the energy creating an aura around him. even though his eyes were closed they were alive with crackling flames.

It is time to submit to the Rage

Gishak blocked the blows sleepily with his perfectly positioned shield. The orc was slightly tiring now, and was surprised no-one else was. He span suddenly, trying to sweep off the mage's legs.

OOC: Is he actually holding out a map or what? I can edit in grabbing the map if he is

IC: "You honoured user. When the time comes, i'm going to enjoy killing you" as he said this he snatched the map out of the mage's hand. It appeared to be a map to a dwemer ruin

Osano

Osano swiped at the orc, his swing backed by the powers granted by Arcyakt.

The orc brought his sword up efortlessly to block it, but had to duck quickly as the sword ran straight through his blade and over the top of his head. Gishak swore, and attempted to knock Osano over with his shield.

(OOC: So, is Niran unparalyzed. I'm not going to read all of that!!!!)

Anthanes looked at the new combatant. Finally someone capable of butchering this orc with more skill than any orc has any right to have.

He continued stabbing at the Orc's side, when he notices the blade coming to his legs. He jumps back, letting him keep his legs but still leaving him with a severe wound.

Osano merely held out his hand to stop the shield rush, and ended up shattering the shield.

He smiled before administering the killing blow.

OOC: I just tried to chop you legs off? Are you letting it happen or what? Are you on the floor with no legs reaching up and stabbing the orcs side?

OOC: No dismemberment unless the person says so, remember? You can pretty much assume he still has his legs

BTW i think it is time that Niran is unparalyzed.

IC: sensing the turn in the tide, Megil locked up his energy and did ot give into the rage. he opened his eyes and caressed his shoulder, which even if healed, still caused him much pain.

The paralysis on Niran wore off.

Fenris sighed.

The orc staggered back, amazed at being defeated. He closed his eyes as a small tear ran down his dark green skin. "I only..." whispered hoarsley, looking around. He brought the remnants of his sword up to his heart as he slowly went still.

Osano, content with his kill, ran off, not wanting to speak to the people he betrayed.

"Anyone need any healing? I have enoug energy left to do at least a few wounds if they aren't too serious"
