Not really a conversation, but Khajiit just had a very strange interaction with some NPCs while playing the Anniversary version on PS4. It all started when we were heading back to Whiterun after clearing out Valtheim Towers for the bounty (the bandit chieftain had actually fallen to his death shortly after we arrived on the scene so easy peasey). By we, this one means his newest character Saryn, a female Dunmer, and her horse, recently purchased from Whiterun stables. When we got to the random encounter spot right past the ritual stone, we were attacked by a vampire fledgling and it’s thrall. Saryn led them towards Honningbrew Meadery, and killed them both. The guards did nothing to help. Meanwhile, the wedding guests and their bodyguard were coming down the road from Riverwood, and the insipid little bodyguard decided to attack Saryn! Well after he died, the wedding guests ran off, and Saryn continued on to Whiterun. Being that it was night, she went into the Bannered Mare to get a room, and frickin’ Uthgerd the Unbroken went nuts and attacked! Not wanting to fight in such an enclosed space with many innocent bystanders around, Saryn led her to the front gate just by the forge. After the fight, Uthgerd lay quite broken on the ground and Saryn proceeded to get that room from Hulda.

What the heck?! Saryn didn't have a bounty or anything. None of the townsfolk or guards are hostile to her, and Uthgerd was fine previously. Anyone have any idea what happened?

This is weird, Khajiit! Is Saryn by any chance a member of some less legal organisation like the Thieves Guild or the Dark Brotherhood? Otherwise it just sounds like this game decided to spike some people's drinks with a frenzy drug...

Lol fury is her favorite spell currently, but she hasn’t used it on anyone that wasn’t a bandit or animal.

*Update*
So Saryn walked into Dragonsreach and every single adult in the place besides the maids was hostile. Deleted saves and started over with a new version of the character.

Come to think of it, this happened to me once, don't remember on which version of the game, but certainly older, so it isn't the Anniversary Edition that's doing it. I've no idea what my character had done either!

Mods, Khajiit? Or totally vanilla?

Well, it’s the anniversary edition on PS4, so it does add all that Creation Club content. But yeah, no “mods”.

Weird. Never heard of anything like this before, especially since Disposition is basically not as pliable in Skyrim as it was in earlier games. It reminds me of some of the scenes we see in Oblivion though, especially the two Foresters who would fight frequently north of Bruma. Just something random which normally we'd not see.
