Yes I believe their main purpose was separation from Church and State, when that was a very unpopular opinion.
Also I think that's only an unpopular opinion because when you say you believe we're not alone in the universe people jump to thinking you mean aliens have visited Earth and abducted people and they get a stereotypical image in their heads.
Alien life is most definitely real IMO but they've never visited Earth IMO.

Yes he was, Sinterklass was around during the middle ages while the Bavarian Illuminati(the original one we know was definitively a thing) was founded in 1776.
Also the Illuminati don't care about religion, heck they were formed to separate the State and Church.

It shouldnīt even have been here in the first place. Every scientist says itīs far too big for this planet.
McBadgere
May 23 2014, 10:16 AM
The Moon is the result of a collision with the Earth by a Mars sized object about 3.5 billion years ago, the resulting debris from the Earth and some of what was left of the impactor was thrown into orbit...As these things do, they coalesced again over time, forming the sphere that we know and love under the influence of gravity...Again, as these things do...
The moon is so big because of the debris thrown up by the impact...Chances are The Moon as we know it wouldn't have been there without the smash, granted...
Other scientists say this too...'Cause it's been, to a point, proved...Moon rock is mostly the same as the Earth rock...And no, the other planets are different chemically...Also proved...

Because without governments, without social structure, people will start grabbing for anything, for everything they can get. Mankind's been doing it for millennia, fighting over differences in race, religion, nation, or just for good old fashioned greed.
You say you'd not do anyone harm, but if someone tried to take what you have, would you defend yourself? Or would you just let them take everything you have, and hope they wouldn't just kill you anyway?
Because that's the choice you'd be facing.

We're talking about fundamental aspects of human nature here. Everyone knows that wars don't really do anything but leave a lot of dead bodies behind, but we've still been doing it for longer than we've been recording history.

Exactly!!
The same thing is with cops too! Just because you're "serving your country" doesn't necessarily mean you are a good person.
For all the government knows some people could just be serial killers looking for a way to get away with murder. Not everyone who joins the armed forces or police is necessarily a good person with the best intent, but they're all portrayed as heroes and saviours when in reality they're just:
A.) Normal people that are just braver than most, but being brave doesn't make you a hero
B.) All the same no matter where you go. Cops and armies all serve the government now, no matter where you live
C.) Corrupt people looking for power
Just look at Grelod the kind. An old lady who owns an orphanage. She should be sweet and caring, right?
WRONG.
Your job does not define your personality
Callidus Thorn
Jan 20 2015, 05:30 PM
Exactly.
And what
really pisses me off, is a term they use over here; "have-a-go-hero", which is used for anyone who isn't in the military who does something heroic. So someone who runs into a burning building to save a complete stranger, for instance, would be described like that in a newspaper, as if anyone who isn't in the military can't be a hero, when the reality is that those in the military
aren't heroes, because unlike that person, they're being paid to do it. I'm not saying they can't be heroes, but just signing up doesn't make you one.
That term pisses me off so badly, I could literally rant for hours at the simple existence of it.

It just really bother me like they treat soldiers like gods, most militaries would probably turn their guns on the people they protect so quickly
They're just normal people doing thier jobs. Yeah, thier jobs are dangerous, but they knew what they signed up for,
I'm not ungrateful, because it would be kinda hard to survive without a military but on the other hand, come on. It's not like every single soldier is a hero, to othe countries they're the terrorists, innocent people are killed too.
@rocu
That's another problem. Some people want to be praised just because and will do whatever to get that praise.
More people are selfish, greedy, and corrupt than people allow themselves to see
