OOC : it's ten in the morning here...

Jonacin ran forwards, catching the swaying Serene and holding her up.
"Azura" he whispered, "if you intend to do something, do it now. Serene can't take this much longer"

Mage

"The sooner I get answers, the sooner I leave..." he said in a sing-song voice.

"Jonacin, Konrad, Fenris..."

"No!, you damn honoured user, i'll never join you. YOu've seen my mind, you know that has no appeal to me"

Mage

Jonacin was right, to a point. Arcyakt could only read people's minds at certain times - but he wouldn't tell them that.

"I thought that maybe you would surprise me. I see I was wrong." He changed the subject. "You know that Azura is killing her, right? If Azura keeps inhabiting her body, she will die. But I have stopped Azura before...maybe I could do it again? Just to save Serene?" He doubted that his words would turn Jonacin, but maybe the thought of Serene dying would...

"Jonacin, ignore him!"

Niran took his hand from his wound and stood up, walking towards the mage. He knew he couldn't kill him, so he simply spat in his face.

(OOC: Whoever was who said I was clutching my stomach was wrong, I was clutching the wound on my arm. Let's all post a gagillion times while Gamer10 is gone. )

Mage

"Why does everyone seem to do that?" he asked as he wiped the saliva from his cheek. "Is it because they feel helpless, and spitting in my face is a way of showing strength? I don't care that you insult me, mainly because I could kill you at any moment. Except for Serene, of course. Azura will kill her before I could ever get the chance".

" My logic must make sense to have all these reactions. Look at Selenil, over there. He won't say a word because he doesn't know who he is anymore, Niran just spits in my face, because he won't accept what is true. Azura steals someone's body, merely to stop me from telling the truth..."

While watching everything from below. Mazuk wonders what is going on and thinks if he should make himself know.

Niran laughed and looked at the mage,

"Don't try putting us down you demon!" Niran had very little idea of what was actually going on. After all, he hadn't even heard of this mage before this encounter.

Konrad stared at the mage, confused. "Sir, I merely said I see your state of mind. I have now listened to your other ideas about pain and suffering...and have decided you are a lunatic. I would rather stay with the people I have been travelling with." He gazed over the group, then back to the mage. "Why?"

"Whats all this about Arcyakt, the fun... Whats so fun with all of this? Pain and suffering...!?" Arco said to Arcyakt... "Traitors..." he added as he looked at Osano swining his scimitars around, Arco knew Arcyakt would have some sort of plan, and was ready to find out...

Clangor looked around, he had clearly gotten himself in over his head. But should he leave them to it or get involved?

"A lunatic? Am I?" he laughed. "Maybe. But giving pain is something that the gods have been doing to mortals ever since time began. Why does nobody call the daedra lunatics? Because they are immortal and feared." He looked down at Konrad. "As am I."

"No, pain is not my goal, though I do thoroughly enjoy it. Pain is merely an added bonus of overthrowing the daedra and the divines. My goal is to show this world what they really are - petty, squabbling children that want more and more power over mortals. I say the time of the gods are over. Mortals have power....why else would the gods want control over them so? You either fight for the gods," he said. "Or yourselves. I will rule the mortal realm, and then move on to Oblivion....My game, Arco, is a game of conquest."

"You're insane, you cannot defeat the armies of Oblivion!"

Niran picked up his sword:

"And you shall never rule me!"

Konrad sat down slowly, sighing as he hit the floor. "No, sir, I also think the Daedra are lunatics, and are any other Gods. To be honest everyone is a lunatic...just you are very inclined that way." He whistled quietly to himself a song his mother had sung to him as a boy.

"Konrad, don't speak to him anymore. There is no need. I am continuing on."

Niran stepped forward.

Mage

"Somehow, I don't think that you have ever been to Oblivion." he snapped back at Niran. "Well, I have, and I have defeated many of them single-handedly." He looked to Serene. "Tell them, Azura. Tell them how I defeated a thousand of your minions that guarded the gate back to my home..."

He stopped Niran in his tracks with another parakyzation spell.

"You are going nowhere."

Konrad shook his head at Niran. "I wouldn't bother if I were you....you are just acting as Azura's pawn."

"We are all pawns, even you." Clangor said, making up his mind. He would stay here, and help these people he hardly knew.

"What? This is all very confusing, now Mage I have no deal with you. Release me and let me be on my way."

Mage

"No. I will not have you leave when the game has just begun..."

"What game? Life is not a game. Do not meddle with us!"

Niran said angrily, though paralyzed.

Mage

He ignored Niran's shouts and turned to Serene.

"I want you out of her, Azura! Stop manipulating the life you claim to love! The only answer I have gotten from Serene is one that you put through her. I want it from her own lips, without your interference."

OOC: We all know Niran is possesed so.

Niran's face had changed back to the strange demon-like appearence.

Arco soon couldn't hold his anger down, what was Arcyakt's plan...

"Why do you even think you can take over the world when you even cant summon Azura in her on flesh..." Arco spitted out at Arcyakt "Why would she even meet someone like you!?"

Arco held his scimitars high, he was soon ready to burst out at Arcyakt. He looked at Slogon, the dragon under his power...

"If your so powerful as you claim, why the dragon!?" Arco added... looking at Arcyakt, his eyes filled with burning anger...

Mage

"I am powerful, but hold no delusions that I am powerful enough to conquer the world by myself...the dragon is only the start of my army...along with Osano."

"My powers are not limitless, though they may seem that way to a fool like yourself. When I see you summon Azura in her flesh against her will, then you can say that I am not powerful."

The demonic look on Niran's face left. Perhaps for good, it seemed that the demon possesing him had given up.

"Release me from your spell mage! I will not attack you. For that is what you fear. You fear all of us. You are weak."

"I might not be as powerful as you... when it comes to magic, but if you taunt me, its your end!" Arco replied to the mage..

Mage


"spare me your taunts, for they mean nothing. You know as well as I that I could kill you all with minimal effort. What I want, is someone to show me the error in my logic, or the very least, some conversation beyond the highly intelligent phrase 'I'm going to kill you'."

He added as an afterthought. "Fenris...I need an answer. And just know, that if there is any of your magic in that answer, I have a silence spell readily at hand."

"Mage, I will ask you again. Are you going to release me from this spell?"

Niran was becoming frustrated and his imprisonment.

Mage

Arcyakt smiled.

"It seems that I am not as weak as you say. If I am weak, that spell should be nothing but a minor inconvienience."

He waved the spell away. "That's two, Niran. You have broken your word more than I have today in our encounter. Isn't that against some code of honor?"

OOC: The little girl ate Sel. :shocked:

Niran, now free from the spell picked up his blade and walked to the back of the group. Waiting.

(OOC: Don't look behind you Sel! It's the killer little girl! )

Mage

"This was a nice chat," Arcyakt began. "Azura." he nodded. He summoned the black tube in front of him. "Oh, and Sel, you could have killed me that night." he said as his face changed into that of 'Sir Noin'.

"Osano, We are leaving." he said as he stepped through the portal with Osano.

The dragon remained.

Niran heard the Mage's farewell and came to the front to see what was going on.

The mage was gone, but for some reason he had left the dragon here. It was a danger to the group.

Niran unsheathed his sword.

"Arcyakt!, Azura´s voice was hoarse and broken, don´t run away again, as you always have done...stay for once and we shall sort this out, otherwise I must kill Serene"

Mage

Arcyakt appeared right back where he was immediately. "then you will show these mortals that I am correct." he said in reply to Azura. "Show them your cruelty."

With that, he went back through the tube, transporting himself back to his home - this time, with his dragon.

Arcyakt appeared in his extra-dimensional stronghold. "Choose any room you want as your quarters." he said to Osano. "I have imparted the knowledge of this castle to you. You will know where to go every time its structure changes."

"I will be in Vvardenfell for quite a while, so make yourself at home. If you want to go anywhere, use the mirrors."

"And you," he said to Slogon. "I want you back in your cage."

Niran turned to Azura

"Spare her life!"

Sel

Sel looked up, hoping that Azura would not actually kill Serene. If she did, the line between good and evil would blur even more for Sel. He wondered if he could handle it.
