"You should think about closing that mouth of yours, Fenris, lest I have to make your tongue's power come back to you - with even more intensity."

"I ahve already told you what I want." the mage said in answer to Niran's question. "Conversation. In case you haven't noticed, this is all a game to me." Arcyakt continued, not caring in the least that the nord had called him a coward. "I merely use the girl so that you do not charge me blindly, making me kill you all, and in effect, destroying the only fun I have had in thousands of years."

Sel

"You evil honoured user." Sel spat.

Mage

"Evil? Tell me, Selenil Vendas, which did you do first to that man? Did you cut off his fingers first, or his eyelids? I seem to have forgotten..."

He smiled when he saw Sel looked down and clench his fists, a mixture of shame and anger. He hoped that he ahd sown the first seeds of discord in the group.

"And what of you, Konrad? you killed an innocent refugee, and pushed one of your companions off of a cliff."

Arcyakt smiled. "I am no more evil than some of you, the difference is, I accept who I am, you all try to change it."

Niran, angered by this man said as he raised his sword:

"Kill me then, but I'm coming for that girl."

Falx growled, "You take what has happened and turned them around on us! Streching and tearing the truth apart!"

"Your are a evil honoured user!"

Konrad gasped ludly, then ran out. "You liar!" He shouted, throwing his dagger at the mage.

Niran had approached the mage slowly, now just a few feet away.
"Be careful Konrad!"

Mage

the mage merely swept his hand across in a wide arch, paralyzing the entire group, and with the same hand, catching the dagger Konrad had thrown.

"Now, do we do this peacefully, or will you force me to abandon my game?"

OOC: no killing the mage! then the RP would end, and it would...well, suck.

Fenris merely smirked, shaking his head. The Nord yawned. "So, what point are you trying to make here then? Because i'm becoming bored."

Niran was forced to freeze,

"If you want something I can give in exchange for the girl," Niran said again "tell me what it is, if I can give it to you then I will."

Konrad glared at the mage in his paralysis. "He is actually right...I see his way of thinking," he said aloud, pondering on the words of the mage.

Niran hestiantly walked over to the mage, as he did so he saw him smile.

Konrad smiled. "Aye, I am the one who threw you off the cliff Niran..." he looked at the mage, awe imprinted in his eyes. "I like your style...mage."

Niran looked intently on the mage

"That is all you can offer me, a cure to the demonic curse that plagues me. I will not forsake my fellow journeymen, even if I do not enjoy their company."

Shocked he looked at Konrad

"What, when this spell wears off I'll get my hands on you and then-"

Konrad stared at the angered man. "Calm down, you are fine now. I must say it was rather fun testing my powers...and I could easil get stronger." He pondered about the magical prowess of himself, too vain to pass the idea by.

"Calm down! You nearly killed me. It doesn't matter that I am fine now. Obviously your parents didn't do a good job with you!"

Konrad glared at Niran. "Oh, my parents did a great job...though I am just fine with fact I had some...demonspawn."

Serene and Jonacin were in the back row of the group when they were paralyzed, she tried to form some spell but that was completely impossible in the state of paralyzation.


"Azura " she thought in her mind, "help us where are you when I need you?"

"You call that evil, Shakur? Trying to protect your brother? I looked at you once through my mirrors, and knew that you could not be turned. Too 'honorable'." He said, making sure that he said the word 'honorable' with comtempt. Your Konrad, Niran, and Sel are more to my liking."

Sel didn't say a word, pondering what the mage had said. What separated him from the mage? How was he any better? Was he evil? He wasn't sure of himself anymore...

"I...I..." he stammered, stil fighting himself. There was a long pause. "No." he said with all the conviction he could muster. (which wasn't much)

He was still unsure of himself...

"I like that you show your "Power" by terrorizing people and taking children. Power is showing you can stop a fight with words, not kidnapping peoples feelings. I must say though, a dragon? Thats what you brought? No demonic hoarde or black guards on steeds? You really want something to bring that beauty".

He looked at Sel and Niran. "A shame, but it does allow for more fun in this game of mine."

"Do you actually think that your remarks hurt me? I am not insulted by you. I am the one holding you all paralyzed...so, if you promise not to try anymore attacks on me, I will release the pararlysis. Just remember, the little girl's life is in your hands."

He still looked at Konrad, almost sure that he had the boy on his side. He had plans for that one, should he switch sides...

Niran spoke up, before anyone could say anything

"I will not harm you. Just release the child!"

Sel

"I won't try anything either..." Sel said in a small voice.

As soon as the mage released the spell, Sel sat down, burying his face in his hands, but still listening.

I got to when the little bosmer came in and started fighting with niran, can someone catch me up maybe? Am i a traitor yet?

Niran rushed forward and picked up the little girl walking back he set her down and knelt down.

"Are you allright?"

OOC: it's basically whoever happens to be holding her/ taking care of her. Her name is Triel by the way...we met her when we were leading refugees.

The little girl nodded and Niran picked her up again. She couldn't be left by herself.
