Said a while ago I was going to post pictures of my characters, and now I've finally found a new place to upload them, so I figured it was about time. She's got better equipment in the game than in these pictures, but I'll post the new ones later. I have been playing this game way to much lately.

I love he draft horses. That second one looks like a Gypsy Vanner.

How are the horses? Are they the same as in Oblivion?

The horses are great in Skyrim, though they aren't perfect they are still way better than the ones in Oblivion. They move their heads more to look around and often run away from danger. They don't run very far though so you don't have any trouble finding them. I've had a couple that have fought, the first horse I posted a pic of died when single handed trying to take down an fire atronarch. But the new one run away, and I'm a lot more fond of that color anyway. They look really detailed(or so I think at least) and animations look a lot better.

Thanks guys Scratch what I said about the horses fleeing, horses sometimes run away from danger, but mine attacked a cave bear straight on yesterday. And right, the spoilers in these pictures is a certain person who accompanies my character.

It looks like Sa'Quira has found a great companion! I love the one where they're looking at each other.

That first sword does look really nice. It reminds me of Sting. Is it glass or elven?

Pretty sure it's Glass. Chloe has an elven sword and glass bow. Glad they fixed the obnoxious green from Oblivion.

mALX: Sure is, I was so happy to see him in this game, even if he only is a descendant.

SubRosa: It is a specific blade with a frost enchantment which was also seen in Oblivion, and judging from the weapons I've seen, as well as the shape it had in Oblivion, I'd say it's glass. I've got an elven sword, and they are very different. In the second picture with weapons, there are from left to right: an elven dagger, a glass waraxe, some staff and another blade of unknown material.

King Coin: Hope you do soon, there are so many cool looking weapons in this game.

liliandra nadiar: I want a glass bow! Haven't even seen one yet. Sa'Quira is using a dwarven bow at the moment and Deesei summons one when she has got need of one. And I agree that the new glass is a great improvement.

Aravi's run into some werewolves, she hasn't been infected. Looks like fun though!

Oooh! I heard there were walrus up there, but hadn't seen any pictures before.

Scenic View #1 is my fave screen of all, that is Awesome !! GAAAAH !!! We will run into werewolves out walking around ???? URK !!! Do we have to kill them? Do they attack? ARGH !!! GAAAAAH !!!

Being a werewolf is cool, even though there isn't that very much to do.

The walrus are cool, though they are called horkers in Skyrim. They aren't very hostile either which allows me to watch them pretty closely. Not like the polar bear I've been seeing up north lately.

Thanks mALX ^^. I haven't met any werewolves walking around so I really couldn't say. I've only seen them in quests.

I like the scenic views I get in Skyrim and the sky looks awesome.

I noticed the aurora on my screen looks like the one you just posted, but Victoria's aurora is spectacular and colorful. Does anyone know what causes that? Is it something I can fix to get a more beautiful gameworld?

Do you mean this aurora? I've seen both versions in the game and both looks awesome, though I'm partial to the blue/green one myself and I haven't seen the other one with a clear sky yet. By the way I'm running on ultra settings at the moment, but I don't know at what quality steam takes the pictures.

There are already several mods that make the world look better, I tried one of them for a while but then I had to re install the game(no idea if it was because of the mod) and I haven't gotten around to installing it again.

The ghost ride was just something I came upon while out riding on the tundra west of Whiterun during the night. I've seen it twice and I still have no idea what it is. Figured I should follow it this time and see if it took me somewhere, but no such luck.

I love the screen right before the headless horseman. Very beautiful.

I hope Victoria doesn't mind me quoting her screens here. These are Victoria's shots of the aurora that I'm referring to. I have never seen these colors in my game's aurora, in fact my game colors all look a little ... colorless. Here are the links to Victoria's screens:

Well, Victoria also touches up the shots with an editor before we see them. So it only looks like she's playing a better designed game then the rest of us.

How do you do that? I'd like to touch up some of mine, lol.

I've seen similar to those colors, but like I said never with a clear sky. Her pictures does look a lot better than what I've seen in game though, like ever.

Ulvith went dungeon crawling, and what she found at the end totally made up for the lost time. Pic

Good thing that she kept her guard up doing it, or it might have taken her down. He nearly boiled her alive as it was. However the beast didn't have it in him which meant that Ulvith was the one still standing in the end.

After a long day she headed back to Whiterun, clearing the skies in the hope of getting a better look at the aurora. But the clouds wouldn't bulge and only gave her small peeks.

I love that eagle statue! Really can't wait for the Creation Kit to come out, lol.

The last one is great, I love the mountain in the distance, the stars, the clouds, and the aurora all fighting for sky space.

I didn't look at the other ones, they sounds kind of spoiler-y.

Deesei found a dragon! But it wasn't very happy to find her, so she had to fight it. Pic 1, Pic 2. Pic 3. In the end, Deesei won.

And went to fight another dragon. Luckily its buddy didn't go after her.

That ebony sword looks fantastic! It is too bad you have to fight dragons all the time. From looking at all the screenshots everyone has of them, it seems like you cannot swing a daedra by the tail without hitting one.

It's not too bad. I can wonder for several hours without seeing scale nor tail of one. But they do tend to make very photogenic fights that beg to be screenied.

Great shots, so far I haven't had two dragons in the same area yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

I've actually sought out most of the dragons I'm fighting, I've come across several when out travelling but if I keep going long enough they eventually give up. I love the dragon fighting though, so personally I don't mind it. I think I've been playing with Deesei for almost 60 hours, and she isn't close to getting all of the shouts.
I played with Ulvith(and Sa'Quira) for a while before embarking on the main quest, and I didn't see the wing membrane of one between Helgen and reporting to the Jarl. So I think that's a good way to avoid them as well, though the shouts are quite useful.

I love taking pics of the dragons, they look so great! Just you wait until the end of the main quest, I'm not going to say anything, but it was awesome!

Ulvith is using the Blades armor, and I have to agree that it looks great. It's the best one I've found so far, and I've even done some small enchantments on it.

By the way, i'm currently using two mods that enhance the environment. Enhanced night Skyrim(which improves the night sky) and Realistic Water High Resolution Mod.

Uh oh. Can you imagine how scary it was to come up to Shearpoint intending to just take on one dragon, and then see another come flying past?! The other dragon flew away before the first spotted me(thank the nine) but it still was really scary. Afraid I couldn't ever get more than one dragon in pictures though.
