Flogir
Flogir thanked Flint for his help. "It's merely exhaustion, Flint, I'll be fine after some rest."
Flogir scanned beyond the walls and noticed that Flint was correct, all the undead went back to just being dead. Flogir grinned. "Looks like Ian and his companion were successful in their mission, now things become a bit less complicated. We only have one enemy to deal with now."
His attention returned back to Flint. "Well if you say you want to fill up that breach, go ahead. I won't stop you."

OCC: Perhaps, I'm a little melodramatic, but it shouldn't be too-over-the-top. Don't forget the dead people in the military camp, they have yet to be discovered....
Morrowind SoldiersMany of the soldiers stared in wonder as hundreds of undead birds fell to the ground. The sight of the hidious abominations suddenly disposed of filled them with relief. The news of the end of the necromancer threat spread quickly, from those soldiers near Flint and Commander Flogir.
Without orders, several soldiers dispersed to tell their fellows, the relief clouding their judgment for the moment. As a group of three ran between the ruins, one tripped over a piece of masonry in his haste. When he got back to his feet the soldier noticed a great many things strewn around him.
"What in Oblivion!?" The other two halted and looked..... Their boosted morale disentegrated instantly. For there were over thirty mutilated corpses around them. All were in pieces, shattered ribs jutted from their chests, limbs bent in unnatural directs, savage bite marks were also present.
One of the soldiers was a veteran from the initail battle between the Silhoutte and the Morrowind Army. He knew exactly what had massacred all of these civilians, that nightmare thing allied with the Silhoutte. The soldier took a step back, the images of the guards upon the wall being thrown to thier deaths and the monster ripping their throats out; coupled with these massacred civilians banished any hope he or his companions had felt moments ago.
"Run....." He gasped hoarsely, taking a tunring step. "Run, run, run!" His fellow soldiers broke out of their horrified stupers and needn't any further urging. The trio ran, scrampled mostly, as they seem to have lost their footwork, back to the gates yelling hoarsely at those still gathered there....
IanAs Mannimarco tried and failed to get his heroes to assits him, the Narza'Tai approached. Those armed with crossbows shot the heroes until they were in pieces, maintaining their impassive personas. Now the only creatures in the Temple District that were alive were Ian, Cerpin, the Narza'Tai, and Mannimarco. All of the former were arrayed around the latter, all ready to kill him where he lay.

Mannimarco
,,Well? What are you waiting for?" Mannimarco spat at his executioners.
,,Know one thing. I'll be back. I'll return, no matter how often you banish me. For I, AM IMMORTAL!"
OOC: Mannimarco has just gotten himself on my list of people to soultrap in Oblivion. He's got too much control over death.
Flint:
Flint gave a curt nod and walked to the breach where he rounded up a few who were willing to help him carry rocks. Not because they enjoyed this task after the draining battle, but because they were unwilling to go through that nightmare again.
,,This shouldn't take long." The old Breton spoke when three soldiers scurried within earshot.
,,Run! Run!" They shouted. Flint cast an annoyed frown which he pushed away. This was war, not a place to get cranky.
,,Though Flogir could use his rest. Guess I'll get involved." He reasoned and walked up to meet them quickly.
,,Alright, calm down!" He shouted, grabbing one of the Dunmer by the arm.
,,What's going on? Why are you so panicked? Come on, answer me and get a hold of yourself! We're in a war here, we can't afford to lose our minds!"

Dan, with Amrita and Rann
"Well, if we are to slay this wretched creature, then we must somehow find it. Knowing its behaviour however, I think it shall find us, not the other way around. When it does however, we must somehow sever those appendages on its back. Thus left in a weakened state, the beast would have two options: fight and die or run for its life." Dan said as he looked firmly at the two brothers.
Several screams could be heard however. From the raspy voices, a few Dunmer warriors were shouting heartily. What Dan was hearing was not a shout of joy however, but of utter fear and terror. That could only mean one thing, the beast was near.
"I suggest we lose no time. Let the hunt begin!" Dan said telepathically as he unsheathed his blade and ran off in the dirrection of the screams.
Time to finish the fight, once and for all.

Morrowind Soldiers-
The soldier struggled to free himself. "You think we're safe? You think this is still a war? You fools!"
His companions didn't stop for him, they ran past the men sealing the breach and into Talos Plaza.
"We're all trapped here, stuck with that thing! Oh God, I don't want to die here!"
The soldier clumsily drew his sword. "Yo- you can't keep me here, I.. Nothing can keep me in this godforsaken pit!"
He let loose a cry of rage and desperation, and swung his blade like an rabid animal.
Plys'Iea-
Even though he was too far away to see the results of his work, the hunter could hear the screaming and crazed yells.
On the roof of a derelict stucture, he rose to his full hieght.
Raising his head to aim at the heavens, the alien released a terrifying roar of bloodlust.
The call echoed throughout the city, and across Lake Rumare.
Beyond the walls of Green Emporer Way, Tseaci, goblins, orcs, and ogres were roused into a new level of primal aggression.
The Silhoutte only needed to release them and they would throw themselves at the enemy lines until the enemy was eradicated.

Flint Ironwood.
Flint was shaken off easily. He hadn't expected an attack though, so he left himself completely exposed. The sword smacked against his midrif, forcing the air out of his lungs, cutting the black outer fabric, creating a shallow crack in the glass and finally making the Breton lose any resemblance of a defence. The soldier was out of control and raised his sword for the deadblow.
,,I must escape!" He hollered and with white knuckles from the effort with which he gripped his blade he stabbed down.
Flint thought it would have been the end of him but to his amazement, the Dunmer jerked to the left and missed him completely. He let out a gurgle and collapsed on the ground. Dead.
,,It was about time I came to take a look at how the situation has progressed up here." A familiar voice hissed arrogantly. Flint watched dumbfounded as Green-Root calmly recocked the crossbow he'd borrowed from the Narza'Tai. The more familiar spear sat on his back.
,,Tsk, even your own army tries to kill you. You'd better be careful, friend." The Argonian mocked. Flint frowned as he glanced at the bolt sticking out of the Dunmer's back. It hadn't been a clean shot, but the poison had finished what the not instantly fatal wound could not.
,,Did you just save my life? I can't believe it." He grumbled.
Green-Root shrugged.
,,Think what you will. But I believe you have more pressing matters to worry about than me. Hear that outside? I'd say they're getting ready for another assault." He hissed, then grinned a toothbaring smirk.
,,We'd better prepare, don't you think?"
Flint noted the word 'we', but chose not to answer. Instead he ran back to the breach and redoubled his efforts at rebuilding, adding some Telekinesis into the mix wherever possible. He'd been hoping to save his reserves, but now he thought otherwise.
In the meantime, Green-Root had turned and watched the Plys'Iea standing on top of a ruined building.
,,That's one persistent customer."

Ian-
The vampire stepped toward Mannimarco. "We shall be waiting."
Ian rammed a single blade just below the sternum, and used all of his magicka into burning the necromancer alive.
Karn-
It was dusk now, the sky was a bloody scarlet. Karn wished the sky appeared like that all the time, but he dismissed the useless thought.
He and many of his followers watched the events taking place at the breach. "Keep the Silhoutte's forces away from the breach while they work. Only engage in melee if absolutely necessary."
Three groups broke off without a word, some armed with longbows while others had shortblades and daggers.
The archers tool positions on the battlements and the dervishes remained invisible and arrayed themselves before the breach.
None of the soldiers working on the hole took notice of the sient assassins.
Karn didn't turn to speak those around him. "Prepare some extra space in the sewers, we may need it in a matter of hours."
And then the Sensei was alone on the roof. He watched the men and women below, and let out a weary sigh.

Mannimarco
Mannimarco howled in agony, but no sound came from his boiling lungs.
,,You vampire, I will get you one day!" He thought as his charred remains crumbled under the searing flames and turned to ash.
A lone bird landed on the branch of a dead tree, skipping its head back and forth nervously. Then, it began to sing. Life was set on reconquering the wasteland the Necromancer had left behind.
Flint Ironwood.
Flint and the Brumans worked with the energy of fear, with the pumping of adrenaline in their veins. Soon, the breach was filled with a loose pile of rubble.
Flint panted and wiped the sweat off his brow as he surveyed the crude structure. The loose bricks would mean the barricade could be removed by the opposing force, though he doubted said force had the patience to do that while under constant fire from the archers. They would try to storm across the pile. The Breton cast a grim eye.
,,Let them. Let them try and twist their ankles on the loose rubble."
Green-Root, at the Breach (Yes, he's back!)
Root gazed at the Plys'Iea while he twirled his spear mindlessly in a figure eight to loosen his muscles.
,,Looks vaguely Argonian, but it clearly isn't." He murmured and sniffed the winds.
,,Doesn't smell like anything I know either. Doesn't feel like it is from Tamriel or even Nirn." He kept his thoughts to himself and glanced over his shoulder at Flint and the former breach.
,,They've been paying with their blood and sweat for this city that is not their home. I sure hope this will be over soon. The siege must be broken, before they all loose hope and our only option is to flee."

Ian
As the ashes of Mannimarco's remaons scattered, Ian flicked his blade clean of the blood and other contaminants.
"Let's return to Green Emporer Way, they need every able person there for defense." The vampire said, thankful that one obstacle was out of the way for now.
"Are the others alright?". Kirana asked as the Narza'Tai formed up to leave.
"We shall see in a few minutes," Ian replied.

Cerpin
Cerpin began to follow the others, but not before pausing to spit on the small pile of ash that once was Mannimarco.
We both wanted immortality, necromancer, but for very different reasons. You wanted to live forever becausee you feared death. I want immortality because I love ending pathetic lives like yours.
After they walked in silence for some time, Cerpin finally spoke, "Kirana, my offer still stands. I can provide you with a body if you so choose."
Rann
Rann followed Dan, not taking the time to see if Amrita was following. Dan had a bit of a head start, but Rann soon closed the distance so that he was running alongside the telepath. He spotted the Plys'Iea standing tall atop a building.
You face him outright, he thought, knowing that Dan could hear, I'll be sneaking around nearby.
With that, Rann took the next alleyway out of the beast's sight, and stopped for a moment to plan his next course of action.

Amrita
Amrita decided to tag along, seeing as there was nothing better to do. This beast was a threat to everyone's lives so the sooner they got rid of it, the better it would be. Plus, if the situation grew to be too costly, she'd simply use the mute as a decoy and get Rann and herself out of there.
As Rann broke away from Dan, Amrita decided to head the opposite way, hoping that a three point attack would work nicely. She knew the beast would be able to locate them due to appendages, but the sooner they were taken out, the better.

OCC: I don't intend for the Plys'Iea to die just yet, at least not until the final battle. Since Cerpin has Mannimarco's old body, should that alarm those who've seen Mannimarco before?
Plys'Iea
Rather than remain where he was, the hunter leapt from one roof to the other. He was not surprise when the taxed roofing crumbled beneath his weight. However, the floor beneath it didn't give to his wieght, a fact he'd been counting on.
While the alien's size and wieght was similar to an ogre, he was much less clumsy than such brutes. His footfalls were reduced to dull thuds, had one not heard the roof give in the first place, they'd be unaware he was in this building now.
No more open battles, now they must play by my terms. The hunter thought as he picked his almost silent way through the second floor of the office building.
Kirana and Ian
The vampire glanced at Cerpin, and one could have expected Kirana's voice to come from Ian's mouth. "I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but my choice still stands as well...."
Ian put in, "If Kirana wanted a body, she'd want her old one, and that was burned on a pyre about a week ago when she died."
"Being inside a vampire I know well is hundreds of times better than being trapped in that cursed soulgem." She said as the party passed through the gates into Green Emporer Way. Many of the soldiers were tense, but gave them stiff, but grateful nods.
In spite of the dire army outside, they were thankful for the dustruction of Mannimarco. The Narza'Tai silently left them, gliding off to Devines-knew-where. The vampire angled to go to the breach in the wall not too far away, not expecting Cerpin to follow or go his own seprate way for now.

Dan
While Dan was running with Rann close behind them on the streets, the alien creature was jumping from rooftop to rooftop. After a vault however, the roof of the building the creature landed on crumbled, making the beast land inside. The creature was trapped inside, and it was as good a time as any other to corner and slay it.
Yet a cornered beast is more dangerous than a beast on open ground, as are most men.
While Dan thought about what to do, he could hear the thoughts of Rann, suggesting a plan of sorts. The Dunmer trailed off, telling Dan to face the creature outright while he and his sister tried to surprise it. The training Dan had received in telepathy also included limited mind-reading, but only if the one who was thinking was expressly transmitting something to Dan like cursing him or, like in this case, proposing a plan. He could read someone's mind and predict their actions. Besides the limited mind-reading, Dan also knew how to communicate by way of mind, as he had clearly shown time and time again.
"I'll give you enough time to circle around. Let us hope I can coax it out of this building and into the open." Dan said telepathically as he knocked down the door of the building with his sword.
Everything was dark inside. What candles or torches had been lit in the past were now extinguished. The residents of the building had fled long ago, probably when the siege began. As Dan entered he could spot Rann's sister, Amrita, running in an other direction, presumably to surround the beast. With small steps, Dan entered the building.
It's time to finish this ye beast. There are no distractions now, just the hunter and the hunted.

Plys'Iea
The alien stopped, feeling the old, yet familiar pressure of telepathy. He remembered the sensation well, when he'd encountered psionists during the war this pressure was always present, telltale. Without pausing to think, the hunter spread his arms along the walls of the room he was in.
As long as he did not strain the structure too much like he'd done by jumping onto the roof, the wall should support his wieght. In a matter of seconds, the alien reached the ceiling, his neck arced back so he could see everything on the floor.
While not a telepath himself, the hunter knew powerful thoughts and emotions could be picked up by any psychic. Often times the latter could prove distracting for any psionist in question. To stalk the hunter is most unwise, especially when one does not understand the hunter.....
He focused, pushing the thought to the surface of his mind so the telepath could hear. All was quiet in the house.... except for three sets of footfalls.

Cerpin
Cerpin nodded, not understanding how one could be content with such a...helpless existence. It was worse than no existence at all. He shrugged, both in response to Kirana and to his own inner musings. It was her existence, not his after all.
"Just know that if you ever change your mind, you can find me."
He didn't know where his altruism came from, but he assumed that it was out of the enormous respect he had for both Ian and Kirana. If they had met under different circumstances, he could imagine them being his enemies; yellow-eyed body snatchers weren't always the favorites of honorable folks like Ian and Kirana. But even if they were enemies, Cerpin knew that his respect for the pair would be just the same if not stronger.
Rann
Rann climbed a drain pipe and began running at a low crouch along the rooftops, trying to get closer to the large building that the Plys'Iea was perched upon. As he neared it though, the beast began hopping roofs of his own. It was coming towards him, so Rann immediately hid behind the chimney.
Rann heard a loud noise, and peeked around his chimney to see that the roof of the building next to him had collapsed. Rann pulled out his bow, but suddenly realized how useless it was with no arrows left to fire. He slung the weapon back over his shoulder as he thought to plan his next action.
He decided to hang back for now; wait until he heard sounds of battle and come into the fight when he found it most opportune.

Ian and Kirana
The vampire nodded to Cerpin as he walked toward the breach. "I will" Kirana replied, sincerely.
As they made their way to the breach, Kirana said. "I know you haven't told Issac, Satyana, or Rann that I'm not in Aetherius or Oblivion."
Ian didn't reply, knowing Kirana had more to say. "It'll be best if they remain ignorant, the truth won't help them in anyway, the fewer people that know, the better."
"Very well," He answered, spotting Issac, Satyana, Green-Root, and Flint near the crudely sealed breach. "Issac and Satyana appear well; I hope they stay together, they make such a sweet couple."
"That they do. I don't see how they could fall apart, they've proven to be nigh-inseparable."
"Flint!" Ian called as he approached from a distance to the old Breton. When he got closer, the vampire said. "Mannimarco poses no threat for now; I'm sure the Narza'Tai are capable of hunting down his followers."
Ian noticed the multitude of corpses littered around them, he cocked an eyebrow. "Anything interesting happen while I was gone?"

Flint Ironwood.
Flint looked up as Ian spoke to him. They were standing on top of the filled breach. The breton cast a wry grin and shrugged.
,,Interesting? Heh, well a lot of things happened here. First off, Green-Root has aparently found it needed to resurface." The grin faded as he mentioned the Argonian. If they weren't too busy with the war, he would have made sure the lizard was locked behind bars and remained there.
,,Other than that, we filled up the breach finally, and all the zombies just keeled over. That wouldn't be because the Head Necromancer is gone, would it?"
He gave a thumb's up.
,,Well, good work all. Now that's one worry less. Now let's make sure we get rid of the Silhouette as well." He said with fake enthusiasm and levelled his gaze back on the massive army that opposed them. So far, they'd been lucky that there had been no attack, yet he could see that it wouldn't last long. The mob was so pumped up, it would attack on its own soon, even without orders. He didn't see how they could possibly last long.
He closed his eyes for a moment and grimaced.
,,We've lost too much. Mannimarco was a threat, yes, but he also kept the Sil occupied. Now we no longer have that luxury. And we lost too much power. Telina, Serene, Brianna and Rahvin, Astratus, the Bruman Commander, so many others whose face I don't even recall. And even Flogir is out now, though he keeps up the courage by claiming otherwise. Dammit!"
Green-Root.
Green-Root mimicked Flint's grimace, though he didn't know it. He'd gotten to the same conclusion on his own.
,,The chance that we'll live is small. But even if we die here, the Narza'Tai will live. They'll protect Tamriel, strike down all threats. Eventually....Eventually." He thought. He then turned to the breach and made his way to the frontlines.
,,If I am to die, I won't go out by myself. I'll take some of you monsters with me." With a silent roar of power, his spear shifted to its Daedric form.
,,Come on and attack, if you dare. It will cost you dearly....Silhouette. By the time this ends, you'll cry." He spat.

When Ian, Cerpin, and the small contingent of Narza'Tai entered the Temple District, Brianna moved as if to follow them, but Rahvin held her back, and the others didn't seem to notice as they made their way towards their objective.
"We shouldn't be so selfish," he explained, "Trying to get married while our friends and family fight around us. We should go back and help out at the breach."
As far as I'm concerned, we're married already. I don't need a ceremony to tell me that.

Ian and Kirana
The vampire didn't turn around immediately, he did, however, raise an eyebrow. Ian had a feeling he knew what Issac was planning, it was smart given the circumstances. He wants Karn and the Narza'Tai to protect the remaining civilians and Satyana?
Yes, everyone knows by now that the chances of our victory are slimmer than ever before. Karn isn't quite the same murderer, a different flavor than before, he'll protect an investment in the future as much as we'll all protect civilization. Ian replied, deciding to step in.
He turned and said to Satyana. "Let Issac do this, he won't take long." The vampire reassured her, after the battle with Mannimarco he was particularly weary, giving his voice an appropriately fatherly tone.

The Silhouette.
He could feel the rage and hunger for blood that had taken hold of his army. Now was the time, he knew. This time, no oposition could break his troop's morale. They would all hurl themselves at the walls till they died to the last man and beast. But it wouldn't actually come so far. The walls would fall long before then.
,,Attack! Leave no man, woman or child alive!" He ordered and slowly, the dark mass that was his army went into motion. The goblins, the bandits and the general trash, all rushed at the walls. The only appearance of coordination was in his elite Tsaeci troops, who formed a thick wall before their master and advanced more slowly, ready to throw themselves into the front lines after the defenders had exhausted themselves against the first wave.
Small gaps appeared in the line of bandits as some fell to the nefarious poison the Narza'Tai had planted wherever they could. Yet the gaps were small, inconsequential even, and they filled up before anyone could notice.

Flint cursed under his breath.
,,Here we go. Better hope Flogir or Altair comes in and takes charge. We're going to need the morale boost a leader can bring." He thought before turning around.
,,Alright! All non-combatants, clear out! Archers, open fire as soon as they come within range! Don't aim, draw and shoot. It's impossible to miss. Melee, hold the walls! Trebuchets, fire!" He turned to the walls himself and raised Aleatoire.

Dan, in the office building
After waiting for a few minutes in which he quietly listened and watched the room he was in, Dan thought about his next action. In front of him was a flight of stairs which led to the second level of the building, the one where the beast had landed. Before Dan could move however, he heard the thoughts of the alien, which unnerved Dan. In the pitch-black darkness of the room, all of Dan's senses, except seeing, were greatly augmented. In the state of tension he was now, he could even hear a pin falling on the floor. Slowly, he started advancing towards the stairs. The sounds of battle however could be heard in the distance. It seemed the forces of the Silhouette were attacking yet again. This time, Dan couldn't help in the main battle, not until this monster was dealt with. Thinking about his comrades which were trying to surround the beast, Dan climbed the stairs to the second floor of the building. There, he found yet another large room however this room had a large hole in the ceiling, from where the beast had fallen.
Looking around carefully, Dan couldn't see anything. Even though some light was coming from the hole in the ceiling, the room was still very dark, since the sun was hidden behind dark clouds.
How you have fallen, beast, if you are forced to hide from a bent old man. Nevertheless, you have felt my blade before, your flesh shall feel it again.
Despite Dan's show of confidence, he was secretly very worried that his allies wouldn't reach him in time, if the beast were to ambush him. In single combat, the beast was much faster than Dan could ever hope to be. Not knowing what to do, Dan braced himself, and prepared for the worse.

"Granted," He replied to Green-Root. The Dunmer unsheathed his blade, ready to take up the fight should the spearmen falter. Where there was one, five stood, copies and the original. "I do not think this is a particularly winnable battle."
Plys'Iea
As the telepath appeared and broadcasted a message to him, the alien watched impassively. He could comprehend the insulting manner the message was conveyed, but not the words themselves, so different was his psyche from the human's.
With surprising agility, his hands slipped off the cieling, and he launched himself like an armored missile at the floor. The alien struck the ground and rolled into an upright position, his staff in his hand. There were no threats exchanged, no more attempts at communication, this was the final stage of the hunt.
The staff whoosed down in a vertical, two-handed strike.

Green-Root, at the (filled-up with rocks) breach.
Green-Root sniffed the scent of tension that hung heavily in the air.
,,Then we'll simply have to make it winnable." He quipped. He gazed at the jagged form of his spear for a moment and admired the flames that always appeared to travel across the shaft and blade. It made his weapon look downright terrifying, even though the flames were just an illusion.
,,One way or another, there will be a lot of dead enemies by the end of the day." He crouched slightly and curled his fingers around the shaft.
He could hear the battlecries of the Silhouette's army now, they'd gotten close enough. He glanced to the left. There was Flogir, and Flint. The archers already pulled back their strings, ready to release as soon as the order was given.
,,One way or another, we'll make this winnable, one way or another."
Flint Ironwood.
Flint nodded to Flogir.
,,Wherever we meet. Indeed, it had better be peaceful and quiet because this is getting on my nerves. I'll buy you a drink then. For now, good luck." He spoke and marched over to the archers. Like them, his expertise lay in long-range engagements. He would leave the gritty close-up fighting to Flogir who was far better at it than he was.
He swept his eyes over the approaching ranks. They seemed to be close enough now.
,,Alright, here we go. ARCHERS.........FIRE!!!" He shouted. arrows shot out, blackening the sky for a moment, then they came down. Flint compacted the air in front of him into a dense cloud of needles and fired them as well. He was aiming to disable and kill now, not to knock some unlucky sods off their feet for a second. The carnage had begun.

Amrita
Amrita had found a storm drain on her side of the building, so she decided to shimmy up it. She peeked over the top of the building first, just to make sure that the beast wouldn't see her. She found no sign of the beast so she climbed to the top.
Once there, she noticed the huge hole in the roof. Obviously, the creature had entered the building. Just then she heard a thud beneath her. Something large had landed on the floor. Without hesitation, Amrita lept into the hole, noticing that Rann was coming from the other side of the roof as well. She landed in the room and found herself behind the creature.
She unleashed a stream of fire, aiming for the creature's back and exposed appendages.

He recoiled, his sensitive appendages picking up the heat forming on the witch's hands before the torent was fully unleashed. On instinct he threw himself to the side, his leftmost appendage was singed by the flames. The pain was excrutiating, but agony was not an unfamiliar companion to any of the Plys'Iea.
The alien roared in outrage, his spines suddenly fell, clinging to his back. In many milenia, evolution had blessed his kind with some control over their external organs. They displayed mood as well as their practical task of extra-sensory, but just as they could be extended to increase their sensitivity, they could also be made less sensitive.
Spinning so that his back was not exposed, he swung his staff in a counter-atteck.

Thinking quickly, he jumped down into the large room, landing atop the Plys'Iea. He lifted the enchanted dagger that Amrita gave him, preparing to deliver a few quick blows to the spines before he was inevitably thrown off.

Dan, fighting the Plys' Iea
In the blink of an eye, the beast was ambushed by Amrita, who burned its back using a spell. In obvious pain, the beast jumped to the side, brandishing its staff as it did. Right as it hit the ground however, Rann pounced on the creature from above, raising his dagger and preparing to stab the creature a few times.
Since Dan didn't want to hurt Rann by attacking the beast, he stood his ground for the moment. holding Balmung at the ready. After a few moments in which his immediate urge to slay the beast defeated his urge not to hurt Rann, Dan charged the alien and swung his sword at its leg, away from Dan. With a loud cling, the blade jumped back from the armoured shell which covered the creature. Still, a dent in its armour had been made.
Stepping back, Dan prepared for another attack.

Odrik, at the trebuchets.
Odrik paced back and forth, his eyes dashing between the working crew and the enemy horde.
,,Careful with those ropes! Come on, move those rocks quicker, you damn monkeys!" He barked. He tried to count the opposing force but gave up. There were simply too many of them.
,,Alright fellas, we'll load buckshot. That should smack some holes in them! Now stop yapping and get to work!"
Green-Root, at the walls.
The first line of Goblins had arrived. A particularly ugly specimen brandishing a dagger picked Green-Root as its victim. Green-Root didn't wait however and put it on his spear before it could get close.
,,Goblins, smelly little critters." He hissed and pushed the corpse off with a foot. A second Goblin swung a club at him and to his horror, the Argonian realized he wasn't going to dodge the blow, not while he still had that corpse weighing him down.
A shield came in and blocked it. Green-Root nodded to the Bruman by way of thanks and promptly stabbed a bandit in the eye that had tried to hack his ally to pieces. The two turned their faces back to the enemy and fought on with grim determination.
Flint Ironwood, on top of the walls.
Flint had been cursing under his breath for quite a while. He was running out of magicka too quick to last, and the archers were running low on arrows as well.
,,First guy to run out of arrows runs down and gets some noncombatants to start a supply-line! We need to keep firing continuously!" He ordered. A Dunmer promptly turned and dashed for the ladder.
,,Good lad."
The Breton looked at his staff. So far, his latest weapon had been less than reliable, so he didn't feel much for using it again. But there was little choice.
,,Ok, no singing, no pink clouds or any other funny stuff. Just do something usefull. Got that?" He snapped. The staff vibrated. Was that a yes or a no?
,,Oh well, let's find out."
Flint pointed his staff at the center of the enemy formation that was swarming the soldiers at the breach and gave a quick prayer before unleashing Aleatoire. A blinding flash erupted from the staff's tip. The wave of Goblins and bandits staggered, then they all began to jump around and dance. Flint sighed and smacked his staff against the cobblestones.
,,I said 'no funny stuff'. Do you have a hearing problem or something?" He snarled. When he looked again, he saw that the second line had gotten impatient and begun to cut down the dancing first line. Said first line promptly turned and fought back against the second.
Flint scratched the back of his head.
,,Ok, I take that back. Bandits fighting bandits. Now that's quite effective."

Jonathan Constantine
He had seen it. He'd seen the beast mutilate those soldiers and civilians. He felt their pain and anguish as he set idly by and watched the creature destroy their corpses. Maybe it was the booze, or maybe it was that feint remembering of a promise long past in a town called Chorrol that caused the anger to well up in a person that had deserted all hopes of life. Maybe.
The sweat slowly trickled down the drunk mans head as he cautiously stepped through the contorted bodies of the dead. He grieved, but did not show it as to show it constituted weakness. But then again, so did the booze. His hand however would not leave the aged bottle Cyrodillic Whiskey, or the rusted blade that loosely laid at his side. A hideous moan erupted from a body, casually impaled along a oaken stake. The words were incomprehensible to the drunk, but he knew what pain and suffering they represented.
His drunken stupor was interrupted by a monstrous howl. A grueling sound that he had only recently become familiar with during the siege of the once glorious Imperial City. The sound, it captivated him. His feet began to make the journey towards it. Towards the possible retribution of his past sins. The walk began to increase, his feet numbly dodging loose debris that now inhabited the once majestic imperial causeways. Soon his walk became a run as the stupefying effects of the alcohol became replaced by coursing adrenaline. He heard heard his enemy, he smelt him, and his sword would taste the flesh of the man-killer.
Jonathan smirked.

OCC: From this point forward Tenek is my character, my friend donated him to me because he wanted his character to have more screen-time (for lack of a better phrase).
Rann doesn't have to break his back or anything, he should just lose his grip due to how painful being smashed through a thin (1,1 at best) support pillar.
Tenek, off having his own private adventure
Not far from the fighting, Tenek was scavenging for loot amidst the dead and undead. ".... shiny point from a silver longsword.... ah, gold nugget..." The Bosmer vampire muttered as searched, alternately placing what he found in the bag over his shoulder or throwing it away.
While the Temple District was no longer under Mannimarco's dominion, no one else seemed interested in this piece of territory. As long as no one disturbed him, Tenek was fine with that. Finally, he straightened. "That should do it, worth a few hundred septims I reckon."
Tenek started walking toward the gates of Talos Plaza, unaware that the Silhouette had absolute control over it.
Plys'Iea
When another opponent entered the fray, the alien decided that this all had to end immediately. He slammed backward into a thin wooden pillar to dislodge Rann. The pillar snapped like a twig under the force of the strike.
Issac and Karn
"Speak quickly, neither of us have the time for round-about conversations." Karn said when the two of them were a suitable distance. The sensei, leaned against a large piece of masonry.
"Very well, I want you and the Narza'Tai to take the civilians under your protection." Issac explained, the sounds of battle and death were clearly disernable from here.
The Narza'Tai leader raised arced an eyebrow, "I doubt faint-hearted citizens will appreciate our hospitality in the sewers."
"Perhaps, but they'll be safer down there then up here. Pretty soon, there won't any part of the Imperial City left safe." The Altmer replied.
"I'm also sure that your lover will not sit in the sewers if you're up here." Karn said, stepping away from the rubble.
"I'll be down there with her." This brought silence between the two mer; the sensei studied Issac for nearly an eternity.

Satisfied with Brianna's verbal retreat, Aerona fell back into step beside them, but she was now paying very little attention to the world around her, so lost was she in her own thoughts.
The three finally reached the Green Emperor Way, where they immediately searched for loved ones. After Rahvin asked some guards a few questions, they found Satyana, Ian, and a strange yellow-eyed fellow sitting around while Karn and Issac conversed privately nearby.
Rahvin
After finding their companions, Rahvin stared into Cerpin's yellow eyes for a few long seconds, remembering a time when he had been separated from his own body. He didn't voice his fears though, instead choosing to keep silent until necessary.
Cerpin
Satyana made short work of his injured hand, and Cerpin flexed it a few times while looking over her handiwork.
"You do good work," he complimented. The words barely left his mouth before they were joined by Aerona, Brianna, and Rahvin.
He locked stares with Rahvin for a few moments, but he couldn't be sure if Rahvin suspected anything or not. He prayed silently for someone to break the tension.
Rann
There had been a few unbearably tense moments in which the combatants stood, each waiting for the other to move. When the beast finally did, it was a completely unexpected one.
He's running? he asked himself.
Instead of following it, Rann ran back outside, wanting to keep it from any kind of long-term retreat. Once outside, Rann climbed back up to the roof he had previously been stationed on, and kept watch, wanting to be able to track the Plys'Iea if it tried to leave the building where they had been fighting.
OOC: I've been trying to avoid the phrase 'Rann ran' for this entire RP. I gave up. Also, we really need to plan out this fight. Since I don't know where it's heading, I really don't know what to do.

They obviously had a great numerical advantage, yet Dan didn't know how reliable the drunken man really was. A meat-shield at most, judging by the look of him, yet Dan had learned long ago that things were never what they seemed at a glance. After the beast threw a chair at the drunk and ran, Dan could notice Rann doing the same, yet in the opposite direction. Judging by the beast's sudden retreat, it was most probably a ploy to separate them and kill them one by one. It seemed to be working, since Amrita had already run off into the darkness to follow the beast.
"The alien is leading us into a trap! We need a plan!" Dan shouted telepathically so even Rann could hear him from wherever he could have gone. "This building is supported by these frail pillars. If we could destroy them all, we could bring the building down upon the creature. If we die as well, at least we shall know that the beast is finally slain. What say you?"

However thinking was all he could do as the hard wooden chair slammed into Jonathan torso, exploding the chair and sending it's target crashing out of the building. Jonathan lay there, stunned, bruised and quite disoriented and it took him a long moment to prop himself against an overturned horse cart.
"Son of a umbrella seller.." He muttered as his wounds were becoming clearer. A piece of the chair had managed to pierce his thigh, and protruded through the backside of the leg. With a loud, and heavy grunt Jonathan tore the shard from his thigh, biting his cheeks to fight down a yelp. And then, conjuring up a bit of magicka that Jonathan had learned through his ordeals with Altec (his deranged brother), he slowing mended the gaping wound, reconstructing the destroyed flesh. Within moments Jonathan could stand again, and after a bit of limping he was walking as if it had never happened.

Anyone could have misinterpreted the sentence for, "I shall feast on your entrails!." Or some similar oath from something they considered nothing but a savage monster. The hunter swung his staff in a seemingly theatrical display, apparently hitting another support beam by accident.
Ian
He watched silently as Cerpin and Rahvin stared at each other, then, after the tension of the exchange was apparent, he decided to step in. "Rahvin, do you know where Rann is, I haven't seen him since I left for the Temple District."
The vampire gave a nod, hoping to pass a signal that the current matter had to be dropped until later. Things are getting more complicated as this goes on, you all seemed like such a close-knit group when I first crossed paths with you all.

Amrita
Amrita cursed as she finally realized what the creature was doing. Hurling one last fireball, she followed the newcomer's example and threw up a potent shield spell over herself. She also flung a paralysis spell at the creature. If the building did collapse, she was going to make sure the creature wouldn't be able to protect itself from the falling debris.
