Priest of Sithis
Between the Topal bay and the eastern side of the river that leads into it
Lord Revan

So is Veric/Altair going to take over and get overthrown all in the same RP.

If so, let's leave some time to realistically address his political manueverings before there's an uprising.

-----

Issac will be unconscious for a little longer, and Ian isn't going anywhere soon unless our friendly body-snatching murderer replies (Cerpin).
ShogunSniper
i spoke to danny about that before my recent abandonment of the rp, revan.

its not exactly agreed upon yet, but veric will take power. unleash hell. there will be a time jump in the story and a summary post will let people know what exactly went down, and then the downfal begins.

or at least thats how i see it. a lot of details wil be witheld for now for greater enjoyment in the future. biggrin.gif

also i'll post now but wont be able to again until late late sunday or mondayish. maybe before. who knows?
ShogunSniper
double post, my bad but its to bump the topic.

dantrag and/or minque, i plan to have sadril and amrita perhaps teleport to or close to veric... would you like sadril to awkwardly offer a free ride back to cyrodiil so you dont have to roleplay going all the way back?

jack cloudy
Another fastforward? Hmm, I think I'll retire Flint when that happens. Unlike some, time has its full effects on him. He can't grow sixty and continue to hop around as if he's thirty.
Lord Revan

So how many (months) should pass during this fast-forward period?

And is this next battle to be the final encounter with the big bad Sil?

I don't know if I want Karn to die or not anymore...... Perhaps his inclination to not take sides will lead to his undoing... Maybe a certain emporer-to-be will no longer abide the Narza'Tai's Sensei.
ShogunSniper
my personal estimate would be roughly a year. enough time for things to fall apart under the reign of Veric.
jack cloudy
Then he's faster than Tharn. laugh.gif

A year might just work if Veric really works hard. And it would mean that Flint will still be in bussiness. Yay!
ShogunSniper
well it wouldnt be the amount of time it takes for a corrupt politician to trick the government into letting him become emperor and then messing up a province.

it would be the amount of time it takes for a super powered evil genius to trick the government into letting him become emperor and then messing up a province.
Lord Revan

So, I take it that only a few members of the group will still be together by that time.

A year (almost) is a long time, maybe by the end everyone (who's alive) will be reunited.
It's going to be interesting. cool.gif
jack cloudy
Err, Tharn was a superpowered evil genius. But nevermind, no one was saying that he was out for the utter destruction of the empire or at least not as fast as possible. If that was his goal, he would've simply wiped out the elder council, turned Uriel to ash, then summoned his demons to terrorize the whole world, starting with the Imperial city.
Lord Revan

Btw, who is actually gonig to swear loyalty to Veric? Issac might, with the intention of helping the new Empire/Republic, whatever.

jack cloudy
Flint will. Green-Root won't.
ShogunSniper
well my idea kinda got warped as it was passed to the planning thread i believe. what i was going for was that this secret power veric researches and gains by becoming emperor allows him to directly, physically control anyone who has sworn an oath to any emperor/the empire as well those who would swear to him. (though i imagine no one would once they find out altair is veric)

and then as danny recommended: hopefully through the help of mannimarco, veric can pull off this little trick which allows him to control people who have sworn an oath to the empire and have died... which is probably a lot of people. think every single imperial guard that has lived at the control of veric. an army of undead and mindless living all clad in imperial guardsman clothing.

Omg, that could pose a problem. Perhaps the Narza'Tai will find this collosal army as a threat and could me motivated to move against them.

This is possible because the 'Tai will claim part of the Morrowind Ashlands as a base of operations.

They'll recruit warrior races (Orcs, Nords, Redguards, and Imperials) to be "guards" in their domain.
These will also serve as their (should pass-come-to-shove) army with the assassins sticking to their speciality.

Edit: Altmer, Dunmer, and Breton battlemages will (being in shorter supply) function as officers.
Also, I intend to make the Morag Tong non-existant by this point (not-so-friendly competition).
Dantrag
i need a reply from mannimarco before I can do much more.

would you like rahvin/brianna teleported back via a kind gesture from sadril?... otherwise you'd end up having to roleplay your way back.
Dantrag
I thought I already said yes to that...

but now Veric's there...
ShogunSniper
huh. my bad. we'll work something out.
Dantrag
I thought we were trying to end the face-off with Mannimarco, not perpetuate it...
Lord Revan

I'm also somewhat confused, even if bonded, how can either of them die in the first place if their both immortal? It seems sort of contradictory..... Oh wait, I just remember that post about physical attacks and stuff doing the job nicely.

Yeah...would be ok I think! When is it gonna happen?
ShogunSniper
where are brainna and rahvin? in the inn?
minque

where are brainna and rahvin? in the inn?

Ehh..I guess so, but Danny knows.....Danny always knows!!!
Lord Revan
Does he know how I totally screwed up my climatic (don't forget apocolyptic) end-game on Command and Conquer just now? I was such an idiot...... *sulks due to my own failure*
ShogunSniper
so eh... the inn it is?
Dantrag
yep.
GunsnArmor
I'm going to start my first post. But first, I need to know who's closest to the Imperial City, and if they're on the good side or not.
Lord Revan

There's the Morrowind army, lead by a good guy drowing his sorrows and depresion in alcahol. Then there's the Narza'Tai, lead by Karn, an assassin who won't mind killing someone if there are no bad points in doing so.

The 'Tai aren't going to be as hospitable as the army, but they won't kill you for no reason and they actually seem to know what their doing at the moment.
ShogunSniper
replied to rahvin, danny.
Dantrag
replied to sadril, shogun.

Anyway, I'd be lying if I said that I understood Mannimarco's last post. Something about aedra spells and barriers.
Lord Revan
I think it disembodies both Ian and Cerpin and destroys Ian's body..... not good at all.

Edit: Let's just assume that's what it does for the time being.

Double Edit: Dantrag if you had just refreshed after waiting two minutes you would have seen this.......
Dantrag
well..I'm guessing neither of us want our characters dead...so...

(I'll be around all night. working on a huge end-of-year project while checking back here every now and again)
Lord Revan

Hey, they could become ghosts or something.....
Priest of Sithis
No no no sillies!

Mannimarco's spell destabalizes the barrier of having one soul per body, adds confusion to the souls that gain somewhat control over certain parts.

My fault for not clearing that up.
Lord Revan

Oh, and yes, your posts (Mannimarco's, anyway) can be rather confusing. They're almost always a block as opposed to proper paragraphs.

For now, I have to go to bed. I'll get back to this later.
Priest of Sithis
im sorry, im gonna go kill myself now,....

nah, just kidding, but are you telling me that you guys dont like reading in

block cause i can just write every other line.
ShogunSniper
they can be hard to hard read. just try to space it out a little.
GunsnArmor
I didn't find it hard to read his posts. I just use the mouse to make sure I don't reread the same line.
Lord Revan

The problem isn't keeping track of where you are while reading, it's just understanding the Priest's colorful descriptions. The block paragraph is just something of a nuisance..... we can read his posts without using our mouses.
Dantrag
so, revan....

how do we respond to this?
Lord Revan

Perhaps Ian's body is temporarily useless until Ian and Cerpin resolve the sudden change and get back into the fray..... after most of the fighting is over but not completely. Who will post first?
Dantrag
go ahead; i've still got to figure out how rann responds.

i got hit with a double whammy.
Lord Revan
To avoid double-posting, I edited my previous one, Dantrag. Apologies if it lacks fluency, I've never had to write about something like this.
Dantrag
I'm going to bed now. Gotta go to work pretty early.
Lord Revan

Double curse flood control..... Yeah, I don't have work, but I'm going to bed too.
Lord Revan

Sorry for the double post. So will Ian's hasty sneak attack keep Mannimarco from interrupting Issac's task? Will Mannimarco be out of the picture for the rest of the playground if not permanantly? What will happen if Kirana does die? What will everyone think? Man, I sound like one of those narraters for a bloody TV series.....

Issac will probably never forgive himself (he thinks so anyway), Ian will become a lot more distanced from the group after having on of his best friends die in this conflict, and Karn probably couldn't care less besides the fact that Mannimarco's gone...... Maybe Veric can contact the King of Worms from the great beyond...
Lord Revan

[Sorry for the triple post] It seems that POS has been gone for the last two days or so. What shall happen with those involved with Mannimarco?
minque
So as I said, IŽll be away til thursday...drag them along please, will you? Satyana and Brianna..... tongue.gif

Bye!
ShogunSniper
