Karn, Valus Mountains

Through the sudden flash of light, the Valus Mountains became visible. As the light receded, Karn looked down at Satyana. He still didn't understand why she'd given herself up. Perhaps she is naive enough to think they would be spared.

The thought was laughable, but Karn knew that some people actually raised their children believing that all thing has good in them. Idealists, he thought with a shrug. The reality is much colder, people can do things with our being provoked.....

Finaly he ran our od patience and hauled Satyana to her feet. He noticed that her clothes weren't meant for the cold. Karn shook his head, and pushed her along toward the camp of the Silhouetes army. While his minions lacked the ability to teleport, Karn knew they would arrive soon.

The silhouete had made use of the mages in his possession, and had set up posts all over their territory. The mages at each place could move the army from one location to the next instantly. I'll have to give this girl a blanket if she is to survive until her friend arrive.....
