deemu
i finished it three times
The Metal Mallet
I've finished it once so far. I've taken a bit of a break from it currently but'll I'll get back to it once I get over playing Dynasty Warriors all the time.
deemu
dynasty warriors is a cool game i must admit smile.gif
The Vulture
Dynasty Warriors is awesome.

What is the point of finishing it three times? I did it once. smile.gif
Soulseeker3.0
I would love to beat it more then my measly once but my computer keeps over heating and crashes... it got to annoying so after my once through i dropped it
The Metal Mallet
Bummer Soulseeker. I've had the a problem with Morrowind similar to that, but it would just be a constant freezing problem. I became too annoyed with it to continue playing.

What I'm glad is that Oblivion isn't an MMORPG or else I would be so mad since my modem is constantly disconnecting again, but I have a feeling it's my ISP. Evil evil I say.
deemu
mine only crashed twice but the game is to cool to just play it once

ALL HAIL OBLIVION!!!! laugh.gif

they did put to much oblivion gates in the game for us to close that was the worst time in the game when you have to run around searching for troops in each city and closing all that oblivion gates in front of each city
Abu the Cat

Yes. Although I do like to... hoard... weapons I've downloaded, so I buy/loot/~, kill, resurrect in the console. Armor to. All the stuff. And doing quests...

But I don't get the "who!" part of your post. Did you mean "whoa!"?
deemu

yup. it happens with Morrowind too... as i've recently figured out. It turns out that my punny computer fan can't keep the overclocked hard drive cool. I would set it back but the overclock is the reason i'm able to play Oblivion, I hate vicious circles
deemu
thats to bad soulseeker3.0 sad.gif

If you get tired of spending along time in there, just press ~ and type "tcl" without quotes. Look where you want to fly to (entrence of Sigil Tower), and go there. Then (if you are doing this in an Oblivion gate), just fly to the top where you enter the Sanguillium Sigilus thing, and, boom, you're in (you can re-type "tcl" (without quotes) to turn clipping on).

never thought of that. Although I never thought of swimming in lava, until I fell in with God mode on.
Shadowolf
I haven't even beaten it yet! ohmy.gif But I have read the guide and watched someone beat it. biggrin.gif

Hey, Abu did you ever consider the people who have it on Xbox 360 and Can't do that!? I haven't beaten Oblivion yet or even Morrowind for that matter. I am on like the second last mission right now for both. But i dont have the time right now, i have rugby, football and ball hockey which takes up 7 days a week. But during winter when I'm freezing my boat off up in Canada I will have plenty of time to beat both. Also, i rented dynasty warriors once, it is really cool. My favorite weapon is thew huge boomerang like the one characther in Inuyasha. Can't remember her name though, thats gonna keep me up all night.

I'm still on my first round through. smile.gif Though I am at the point of gathering troops for Bruma and closing each city's Oblivion gate. I've taken up collecting weapons and armor, so I don't mind all the gates. I'm doing a study of the Daedric armor for potential costume making. smile.gif And since the Dremora won't stay still long enough for me to set up shots, and won't pose willingly,.....

Lava swinning is also fun when not in god mode. Just have to make sure you have a decent level of magica, plenty of healing potions, and don't just wade in. smile.gif Also helps to know exactly which direction you wnat to go and go a fast as you possibly can. Things do look really cool through the lava though.

Doc_Hux
I've finished the main quest three times only.
Soulseeker3.0
*cough* only? biggrin.gif yeah i've mentioned it once, i'll mention it again... i've only beat it once due to computer technical difficulties.
Kenny
0 biggrin.gif
but im close to it
like 4 more parts to the main quest, and im a lvl 13 wood elf
99 speed my best skill ohmy.gif
The Metal Mallet
Haha cool! My first character was a Wood Elf Theif/Assassin. Though I took my time and finished the Main Quest when I was around level 37.
DavidBeck
I've beaten the entire game three times.

I'm now on my fourth. biggrin.gif

(By "entire game" I include: the main quest, all the guild quests, and EVERY little subquest!)

Needless to say, I am an Oblivion fanatic.

I even purchased the game for BOTH 360 and computer!!! ohmy.gif
Ola Martin
This is gonna be shocking, prepear....
I have never finished oblivion. I never did the mainquest!
But I am sure I will someday^^
The Metal Mallet
Ya, I have a feeling I'm not going to finish Oblivion for a second time anytime soon. Actually, I'm saving my playing time for Shivering Isles. I intend to start another character to see how if I could possibly activate that expension right away.

Not shocking at all smile.gif My level 46 character still hasn't finished the main quest. She's taking her sweet time about it by causing havoc all over Cyrodil (ie: mods) with a Dremora companion. smile.gif Doubt I'll ever truely finish Oblivion. smile.gif Played Morrowind for 3 years without finishing that one. blink.gif

Chiglet biggrin.gif
Ola Martin
Well, I don't belive I will have a game where I have done ALL the quests and stuff, but I have to do the mainquest sometime. Only problem is that mods are too fun^^.

I did finish the mainquest in Morrowind once, but not the bloodmoon and tribunal ones. I really look forward to a sequel to oblivion! There is going to be one right?
1234king
Well, i've finally beat Morrowind after about 2 years of having it. I also, beat Oblivion once.............but the main quest wasn't that good so I probably won't beat it again.
minque
Now Iīm gonna shock you all.....I do have Oblivion....but never even played it....I havenīt opened the box yet. See my pc crashed due to thunderstorm last summer and since then....well I just havenīt got around to install it on the new one..

Oh but I will......some day! tongue.gif
Ola Martin
Ghaspeth!!!
Weird thing that a moderator have the game but haven't played it yet.
Well if you don't start playing it soon I will come over to you(from Norway) with an Akawiri Katana and smite you tongue.gif , wasn't it you who were from Sweden? in that case, shorter distance to run draging a sword:p.
Good luck with Oblivion then^^
GunsnArmor
Twice. Once with an Argonian, and once with a Khajiit.
Ola Martin
Wow blink.gif
You should really not go to morrowind, cause there you'd be a slave for the rest of your life^^. Or at least untill nerevarine comes to rescue you tongue.gif
Volsung
I haven't beaten it once yet. I've had the game since it was released too. I'm a goddamn winner, right?
Fargoth
about 3-4 times xD cause my windows crashed about 5 times, and I had to re-install it... so i've lost my save games every time xD
allshallfade
I've beaten it maybe four or five times, even though I've started the main quest around ten times. It's just so annoying closing all those damn gates tongue.gif
Fargoth
yeah, the worst part of the main quest is the gates..
Fargoth
arround 5 billion.. joke

if you have not beat iy yourself you have not got the whole oblivon experience
Agent Griff
I've not beaten it yet either. For that matter, I didn't beat Morrowind either and I had it for about two years. I also have Oblivion since 2006 but I've never gotten around to beating it. My current character, a Wood Elf is level 8 but I haven't even started the MQ properly (I've only delivered the Amulet to Jauffre).
Hypedupturtle
If I say I'll be called a nerd for the rest of my time here tongue.gif . More than a few...
Bolzmania
Once. It's so many side quests I have to do.

//Daedroth
TheChef
I finished the full main quest and all four guild thingys and the arena on my main file and i finished just theive and dark vbrotherhood on my second because it is an evil charcater
xX Kinzer Xx
Well, I've probably done everything there is to do in Oblivion, but all on seperate charcters. I almost beat the main quest and all the guilds with one character, but on the last quest for the thieves guild I had a power outage and lost all my saves.
johann25
well, i've finished it like 2 times but i usually raise the difficulty as i finish it...
seerauna
I think I've beaten it what... 7 times I think. Just the MQ though. I beat the entire game 4 times. I have a whole lot of free time biggrin.gif.
