As the regulars here know I have never "finished" Oblivion. I can never bring myself to complete a free-roaming game because that requires me to go down a pre-determined path which defeats the whole purpose of a free-roaming game, imvho

Wait WHAT? You've never
finished beaten Oblivion? How can this be?
Just kidding. I've only 'beat' this game once, although I've started the MQ twice. First time I did so, my elf character (Igodah Go^Pe) wound up getting the A-bomb in her game, and she literally got stuck in the final tower with the clock ticking down. There was a door which would not open due to the Animation Bomb. Yeah, it sucked.
I tried again with The Grey Wizard (a character I had back in High School while playing table RPGs) and TGW succeeded. IN a way, you're right, mirocu. After TGW sent Mehrune's packing back to Oblivion, it truly did indeed seem like there was nothing left for him to do. I wrote a short story about his life in the Arcane Uni a few months ago, in which TGW now does nothing but chase cute Apprentices around, and tries to postulate bizarre theories, while he absent-mindedly cannot remember if he's had his supper or not.

i finished it three times
Wow, check that out. The OP did the MQ 3x, and in short succession, it seems. When was OB released? It was 2006, right? 'deemu' must have been obsessed with the MQ, it seems.
I mean, I might do the MQ a third time with one of my PC characters (once I get some issues sorted out), the difference is on PC, there'll be more stuff to do hopefully, and this means that once my future character finishes the MQ, he or she won't just be stuck with a meaningless existence full of NPCs making glowing comments all the time. This character (whoever it is) might wind up still having some real things to do, is what I mean to say.
