Excellent update, Black. I basically had to do the same thing as Sethyas did, but that was because I freed the slaves inadvertantly too soon. Ohwell...

I really liked the "situation" Sethyas created for all the "mishaps" that happened to the members of the Mining Company, very political-like of him.

Hmm.... I wonder what this "card up his sleeve" really is....?

It would seem that Sethyas has learned as much about politics as he had about killing. I enjoyed how he controlled the situation with Llethri, and admired his principled approach to the Caldera mines. I hope he isn't over-confident about his upcoming fight with Venim; he won't have the advantage of stealth this time.

Well, Sethyas still has the ring of the Khajiit. However, all of Redoran will be watching and using it could be seen as dishonorable. The best chance I see is to use a slowworking potion. (Like, it doesn't do a thing till a few days after getting it and then it gives one hell of a big headache, some slight heartproblems and the like.) No one fights well when having a severe case of the flu for example .

Ah how he dealt with that Caldera-business! I enjoyed it as I did the nice set up of scenery you predict here..a council-meeting, how appropriate! I can´t wait to see what happens at that meeting!

Hmm, the rules are pretty strict. I wonder how far the Corprus-strength goes. It would be so much fun to see Sethyas stop that Dai-katana with one hand and slit Venim's throat with the other. (Using two swords, to stay within the rules.)

It was an honour and a priviledge to work on this update with you. Everything surrounding the fight was wonderfully written and build up the expectation of the fight amazingly well. And the ending was beautifully emotion. And Sethyas gets to the chance to get his freak on! Yea!!

Best thing about your work is the frequent and incredibly long updates, seems like you never have a short update and that is a good thing. I liked the justification of why the character didn't care if his actions weren't like him near the end of this update, seems like realistic reason.

After risking one's life and being reunited with Ilmeni I can understand why he would act a bit differently. Anyways please continue, I'll be watching.

I was very glad to see that this battle had the epic feel a fight with the Redoran Archmaster deserved. It was good to see that Sethyas can hold his own in a fair fight, and I'm of course very happy he won the fight. I was particularly pleased with the final words passing between Venim and Sethyas; it felt very appropriate for someone who measured everything by combat strength to recognize the Moon and Star once he had been defeated.

Whoot! Ilmeni is back! Ok, so Sethyas can now further his plan of saving the world, but that's not so important at the moment. Heh, I bet they both have been avoiding the other out of fear for being rejected. Now remember, her father wasn't opposed to their relationship.


Almost forgot. Excellent fight scene!

I have run out of words to praise this update.....beautifully described, and by all means the cooperation between you and "commentasaurus" was just marvellous. I´ve read this part about three times now and ...woah"!
