He couldn't quite use his staff here, not with the whole town watching and a burnable inn underneath his feet. But a couple of Golden Saints might be more useful. There was this whole rule of no summoning within the city but really, his mere existence was a thorn in the guard's side.

Hecate noticed how the lich was positioning himself, looked like the lich was pretty ready for a fight if that would be the outcome. Hecate then looked over at Flint.
"I don't know how you can get rid of me, you can try the same thing you did with the other lawbreakers and assassins in this group- oh... Yeah, those are still here I see" Hecate replied to Flint, ending it with a little evil grin. Knowing that the different people in the group could still manage to split it up a bit, and that could be of much help.

She kind of started to remember now, this man was supposed to kill Brianna......because of her unborn child....so thatīs why heīd been following them all the time!

Brianna gasped.....she just couldnīt understand what he was saying.....he was there! The very man who cared for her.....who protected her from everything. How could that have been a lie? She shook her head....there was a big lump in her throat, and tears started run down her face.
"A lie? But....but why would anyone want to kill me? What have I done?" Her voice was low almost a whisper..
Then she just realised what he said: "......someone stole my body"
"How can anyone steal a body? And where is he who you said stole it then? Ahhhhhhhrrrgghhhh.......I donīt get it, Iīm so confused"
Brianna sat on the bed crying heavily......Her mind totally distorted.....she was convinced sheīd never get over this!

He had to think very hard just to remember all the questions Brianna was asking. He sat down in the corner of the room with his back leaning comfortably against the wall before answering.
"I don't know why anyone would want to kill you, but I'm sure that it goes deeper than Agnar wanting Jadier dead." Rahvin began, "I mean, Agnar wouldn't have the means to turn Telina into Death."
"About the assassin taking my body," he continued, surprised at the irony in the fact that he had said the word 'assassin' with a bit of disgust. "I don't know how it's possible or where he is, but I know that I was trapped inside Sadril's head for quite a while."
"Listen, I didn't want to hurt you or anything, I just thought you needed to know the truth."
Flint Ironwood, getting ready (Sorry, but he seems to have talent for this so we might as well prepare.)
Flint noticed something in Hecate's eyes, as if he was listening to someone. It didn't take long for him to figure out what it was.

Brianna listened carefully to Rahvin, she wiped her face and tried to stay calm. It was obviously true what he said, it had to be, she still had the feeling this man was good inside.....he didnīt kill her when he had the chance to, and Telina cared for him...the real Telina.....But his story was completely insane.....she couldnīt imagine someone wanted her dead......not her! She had never done anything to anyone so why???
And this body-stealing issue! That was even more absurd.....anyway she decided to believe him, he really had no reason to lie to her.
"Ok, I guess I should be grateful to you now? Well......ok I am then! But Istill canīt understand who the man was who cared for me that much!....Oh Rahvin....Iīm at my witīs end! What shall I do now?"
She then realised the pain in her stomach had almost disappeared.....so the baby wasnīt ready to come just yet!!!
Pilthan, Annoyed, Arriving on the roof

Then he suddenly stepped forward determinedly, "I have no pact with these people. I've followed them out of curiosity, not concern."
He unsheathed his sword, "I'm beginning to think that this situation is one of utmost mystery that is purposely kept secret, but for what reason I have not the slightest factual clue, but what is hidden from me, and I have come to speculate with a strong certainty, is something of a great good or evil meant to encode and guide the future of many of the citizens of this most exalted empire. Indeed this may an impractical over-exaggeration, but the very idea of it well, is simply bewildering.

I am most certainly not inclined to help any one of you, but I tend to sympathize more with the victim, than the murderer." He finished the latter with an expressionless stare in the direction of Hectate.
"And you," he started sardonically to Hecate, "Are both a liar and a murderer."
"I don't care what any of you do to eachother at the moment, however, I will take sides as I please, if I please. I am most certainly not inclined to help any one of you, but I tend to sympathize more with the victim, than the murderer." Several Scientists and mages crowded around a table of mushroom. They probed and cut at Sasal's body. "What the.... the stress on his nerves..." one doctor noted. Another said "Wow, the magicka output on his body is unreal! He can use magicka through his hands, feet, back, head, and in the insides of his mouth"
Obseriving room
"Sir, we have all we need for the cloning process." Said the Guard Captain. "Proceed" said a voice, bluntly.
The guard captain stepped into the curtains of the room, and out to the head doctor, giving him the ok to start cloning.
Lower Lab.
The Head doctor took out some drawing devices, and handed 2 to his asistants. "Draw from his...hmm.. you know where" He said uncomfortably. They two women began filling their containers, and headed to a hall with empty tubes. They both started to inject the 'stuff' into the sides of the tubes, and filled a good twenty of them with it. The assistants both said "These tubes will start to take form within the few hours." One of the assistants headed to a pedestal, where she placed a sigil stone, releasing magicka essence into the tubes where, once blobs stood, now started to form baby Fetus'

No need to hate me for who I am, since I'm an assassin like others in this group and they have both lied and killed persons and I'm no different - you can hate me for what I'm about to do..." Hecate replied coldly back to Pilthan as both his daggers appeared out from his cloak, locked in a tight grip.

"Don't tell me what the choices are Breton!" Hecate snapped at Flint, "-because you already know that I've made my choice and that is to finish this" He continued in a more calm tone before taking of his hood and raised his daggers.

Flint jumped forward and released his spell on one side while sending a telekinetic blast to the other side. His katana was aimed right at the assassin's heart. Either Hecate would dodge to the left and hit his Poisonous Flame or he would dodge to the left and get knocked of the roof by the Telekinetic blast. If he didn't dodge at all, there was Flint's katana. Of course, Hecate could still jump over him, but Flint didn't had enough hands to cover all possible directions, so he decided not to worry about it.

Flint jumped forward and released his spell on one side while sending a telekinetic blast to the other side. His katana was aimed right at the assassin's heart. Either Hecate would dodge to the left and hit his Poisonous Flame or he would dodge to the left and get knocked of the roof by the Telekinetic blast. If he didn't dodge at all, there was Flint's katana. Of course, Hecate could still jump over him, but Flint didn't had enough hands to cover all possible directions, so he decided not to worry about it.

The Breton knew how to put pressure on Hecate, leaving few doors to dodge his attacks. Having one spell on each side Hecate dashed forward against the incoming katana, he brought his daggers up against the katana, enough to slow the it down a little - making enough room of Hecate to dive between the legs of the attacking Breton, it was an incredible feat.
Hecate rolled a few feet before he got up on his feet and spun around to face the Breton with both his daggers pointing at him.

Flint landed on his feet and spun around after which he went in a defensive stance.

She fell asleep almost immediately, and did not even notice the sounds outside the door
OOC: So are you attacking or shall we just hold our horses? Brianna can keep on sleeping until you guys burst in ...that is when Hecate bursts in!
Telina, in the room where Bree and Rahvin.
OOC:After a week in New Zealand I'm back, and I will stay for about a month, before I'm heading on another holiday.
Telina who was watching Rahvin explaining himself and Bree calm down again, suddenly felt a sharp pain in her forehead...VERIC IS...HERE!!!!
She sat down in a chair, to catch her breath again, and looked over at Bree...NO WAY HE WOULD GET HER, she would make sure of that.

Getting a weapon was easy enough; it was just a matter of deciding which one. When Telina left, he put a chair under the door handle to keep anyone from opening it. Unless, of course, they just blasted through it magically...
Shaking that thought from his head, he stood ready for someone to try to come through that door.

"The hell?" the barkeep mumbled, watching the door swing open and shut by itself. "That weren't the wind.."
Ranes sighed, casting life detection. The two waiting near the door became visible to him as humaniod-shaped purple light. "Its' nothing," Ranes said to the barkeep. What in the blazes are they doing...I heard some commotion...aw, don't tell me that we have trouble again. I was just begining to enjoy this mead... he thought to himself, his frown growing. Ranes quickly downed the rest of his mead and shook his head.
Well, it'll have to come through the front door, if they're hanging out there. Thankfully this place isn't too crowded currently...
Sadril, who was quietly sitting in the tavern in Bruma, leaned back in his chair and propped his feet up on the table. He looked up at the ceiling when he heard what sounded like footsteps above him.

Hecate began walking to the side as Telina approached and began circling her. "I follow you because I was ordered to," he shot back in an equally sarcastic tone.

Veric watched with curiosity from the very same roof that they were all standing on. He would interevene if Hecate did not make it past the nuisances in a moment; but he remained hidden through the use of an invisibility spell, wanting to see just how the fight would play out. He attempted to hide his mental presence enough so that anyone who would be able to sense him would not be able to pinpoint him.
(OOC: id rather avoid dialogue with hecate if you don't mind. i wouldn't want to betray his personallity that fuzzy created.)

,,If you value your life, you'll not interfere with the Dark Brotherhood." He hissed to his public in his most threatening voice. then, he sent three things up towards the ceiling directly underneath the spot Hecate was standing. First came a Telekinetic blast to smash a hole in the roof underneath the assassin's feet, next came a fireball and finally came Flint himself, with his blades ready.

Rahvin couldn't decide if he was supposed to feel insulted or relieved. On one hand, he was being treated like a child and shooed out of the room, and on the other, he really didn't want to be there.
He chose the latter and excused himself from the room, and later, the inn itself. He didn't even get to breathe in any fresh air before the figures on the roof caught his eye.
What a wonderful time to have a woman to have her child. he thought sarcastically.
Haldin, dissapearing for the moment.
Haldin, had grown tired of waiting for this man to finish. After hours waiting outside of Tel Fyr, he realized it was time for him to go, possibly visit Cyrodiil, yes he would like that.
He muttered a little incantation, and was suddenly ripped into tiny particles, moving like lightning across the void, and only to stand before the imperial palace. He could see the entrance, guarded by five men in legion armour.

Brianna in labor
The pain was ripping her apart, at least it felt that way. She never experienced something remotely like this.....She wanted to press downwards to get rid of the big "thing" that wanted to depart from her body, but a sharp voice was heard throught the red mists of ultimate pain:
"Brianna! Do NOT press downwards......not yet! Breathe! Deeply..just breathe....hold my hands...BRIANNA! do you read me???"
It was Serene......her voice was deep and very clear and demanding...she had to obey.....Then she noticed Telina.......engulfed in steam....did she boil some water? Nice.....that was something she knew...there has to be boiling water.....water......
Brianna felt her consciousness fade away, she wondered if Rahvin was still around, on one hand she wanted him to be there...on the other hand.....giving birth really wasnīt meant for men to watch.....they are too weak for that, but still it would have been very comforting if heīd been there

"Brianna.....easy now....donīt push! Breathe!!!!!"

Brianna, immediately fell asleep, calm, lost in the world of dreams.

"Very good Telina, now sheīs nicely asleep" Serene pinched her daughter to make sure she was unconscious. Then she washed Briannaīs belly with alcohol, in fact with some cyrodiilic brandy in order to desinfect the operation-area.
"Iīm going to place the incision right here, Telina, so if you please step nearer you could maybe assist me? Iīd like you to stop the bleeding while Iīm cutting...."
Serene then placed the necessary instruments to be used on a clean towel on the bedside table:
The sterile dagger, some clean towels, a bottle of cyrodiilic brandy. She then searched her pouch for a needle and some thread she usually kept there. She found the gear alright, thren soaked them in brandy for sterilization.
"Now my friend, " she addressed Telina, "Iīd like you to please just follow my orders and weīll manage this alright.......by Azura her belly is enormous!..I wonder....."
Serene smiled encouragingly at Telina, grabbed the dagger and made the long cut cross over Briannaīs belly, about 15 cm below her bellybutton.
A thin red line showed where the cut was placed.
"Now Telina.....towel please!"
Another cut and the uterus was visible....Serene took a deep breath and cut it open. While Telina was busy wiping the blood, Serene helped a darkskinned little baby-girl into the world, her scream was strong and healthy. Serene checked the child, rinsed her mouth and nostrils and wrapped her in a towel.
Looking down in the open uterus she gasped for breath...
"Telina! Thereīs more than one baby!!!! It seems to be......another one in here!" Serene then gently lifted another baby-girl out.....checked her thoroughly, this one was more calm and her scream wasnīt that loud, but she also had this healthy dark skin-color.....So she too was wrapped in a towel.
Then it was time to check out the placenta and the umbilical cords......
"TELINA......thereīs another one!!!!!"
Briannaīs third baby was helped into this world about 10 min after his sisters......this one was a boy and he did not seem to be ok.....he was more blueish than the girls and he definitely didnīt breathe!
"Help me Telina.....this one is almost dead!"
Then they heard Briannaīs weak voice: "Mother? what is happening?"
OOC: ok a challenge for the telvanni-queen.....will she be able to save Briannaīs newborn son? And will Brianna survive this?
"Very good Telina, now sheīs nicely asleep" Serene pinched her daughter to make sure she was unconscious. Then she washed Briannaīs belly with alcohol, in fact with some cyrodiilic brandy in order to desinfect the operation-area.
"Iīm going to place the incision right here, Telina, so if you please step nearer you could maybe assist me? Iīd like you to stop the bleeding while Iīm cutting...."
Serene then placed the necessary instruments to be used on a clean towel on the bedside table:
The sterile dagger, some clean towels, a bottle of cyrodiilic brandy. She then searched her pouch for a needle and some thread she usually kept there. She found the gear alright, thren soaked them in brandy for sterilization.
"Now my friend, " she addressed Telina, "Iīd like you to please just follow my orders and weīll manage this alright.......by Azura her belly is enormous!..I wonder....."
Serene smiled encouragingly at Telina, grabbed the dagger and made the long cut cross over Briannaīs belly, about 15 cm below her bellybutton.
A thin red line showed where the cut was placed.
"Now Telina.....towel please!"

Fervus Noctus, interfering.
Fervus barged into the room.
,,What do I hear here? Babies crying. Look, I told everyone to get out. It's not safe here.....Oh, it's you."
The Lich instantly calmed down.
,,Anyway I can help? I do know several methods to prevent death. The lying underneath the ground in a grave kind of death."
(I figured it was getting crowded and looking after four helpless people was a bit too much. So here are the reinforcements. )

The Lich instantly calmed down.

Telina, saving babys life.
Telina, ahd done what Serene had told her to do, and was about to try and save the boy, when Fervus barged in, so much the better actually.
"Yes fervus, there is something you can do, help Serene patch up Brianna, and I'll do my best for this baby.
Telina took the boy, wrapped him in a warm blanket, and put him down on the floor. Then she sat herself down, holding his hands. She closed her eyes, entering the mind of the child, going away from what can be considered reality.
She looked around herself, it was all white, a shimmering light, which seemed to disrupt any vision was shining not too far away. She saw the boy flot towards it, almost like he was being dragged by some mysterious force. Somehow Telina knew what was going on, she had to get to the child.
With stupendous effort, she managed to get up. She ran forwards, feeling her life ebb more away the closeer she got to the light. She finally reached the boy, grabbed him, and held him close to her chest, soothing him. Putting her hand on his chest, she whispered the ancient chant of awakening.
"iero din omani danh whod galadh, laesto miriinen sancsuni", she repeated the phrase for a long time, before she suddenly awoke in the room again, the boy was now sreaming, his pulse and breathing had become steady.
She picked him up, and walked towards Brianna. "Here, this is your son, take care of him". A feint tear dripped out from her eye, before she abruptly turned away, and walked out, away from the inn, and into the dark stormy night of Cyrodiil.
OOC:The little trick Telina pulled off, is known as walk between worlds...it allows a person to enter the nothingness, to bring one back from the dead, but it's dangerous, you can die if you stay too long. But this took a little time, so while Serene and Fervus is patching up Brianna, Telina is getting the boy back, and the time passed since Telina went to get him, was about one hour....
And Telina have now left us for a little while, but dont worry she will soon be back, she just needs to do something...but of course the other characters dont know that.

Brianna, totally worn out and extremely surprised
"How could this happen?, why three babies? I had no idea....." Briannas voice was faint and she was barely awake, giving birth of three children almost killed her, she didnīt know how to handle this at all.
Brianna closed her eyes.....there was a tunnel, and at the end there was a shining light, it looked so nice and welcoming, she wanted to go there, desperately. Brianna started walking....
Serene
"She wonīt make it.......weīll loose her" Serene felt tears running down her face......she couldnīt stop the bleeding. The incision was neatly stitched together but there were internal damages she couldnīt remedy.
She looked at the two baby-girls sleeping in their cocoons ........
At least they were alive, the boy was in Telinaīs custody...
OOC: What do you think? Shall Bree die? Or will she sink down in a coma and theyīll dump her at some Temple or something......

Fervus no longer hesitated. He removed one of his gloves, revealing the bony hand underneath. He cast a quick glance at Serene to see how she would respond but then decided not to bother. He put his hand at the heart and began to chant in Daedric. Words flowed like a river and the woman stopped breathing.
After a few moments, the Lich looked up again.
,,I've frozen her body in time. Till the time comes for us to heal her, she will remain as she is, little more than a corpse. I'm sorry, I wished I could do more." He calmly explained, his voice deep and seemingly coming from Solstheim. He then laughed as he looked at his bare hand.
,,Look at me! I am a mockery of everything I do! A healer, who isn't alive himself!"
,,As for the babies, will they suffer the same fate as their mother? Will they be hunted?" He muttered to himself.
,,Our priorities now are to protect the children. Do you know a place where we can hide them?"
