I thought I might as well just continue the saga here - Another thread is up and running, and for not wanting to be caught spamming or anything, I'll post a couple of pictures...

Not for me thought, but a couple of the 150 shots I took when I was in Rome on holiday... Enjoy wink.gif

A couple of random shots I took, some good, others not that good - Missed a couple of good ones thought, since we were sitting on this double decker bus, and some americans used to get in the way of me... laugh.gif True...

Here's some, the rest you can find HERE!

Here... well I think this is one of the favorite shots I took wink.gif Added it too my gallery in deviantART since I think it came out good... (I said it was a art shot, where you take a picture and position yourself to light, contrast etc. and all that - but I lied of course, this was a snapshot taken from the bus)

What? We can also post other pictures then ourselves? I thought this was only post yourself thread.
Nevermind, eitherway that's great smile.gif

Here's a chilly pic from this winter just outside my house at home, that I thought I could share to you guys:

Aaah, oh, gosh. This makes we want winter all over again... *sniffing imaginery cold air*
Fuzzy Knight
Nice! My view from the back of my house is about... 100 feet of snow, than a high and rusty old fence, a small downhill slope and a two railways... lol
Wolfie
It's really only meant to be pictures of yourself, rather than just pictures...
Pisces
The picture which cost me a camera (dropped it afterwards) I was getting a new camera anyway so no worries. Unfortunatly this $100 photo happens to be a bad one:confused:
user posted image
Man, that is a bad photo, blurry and actually a bad photo of me. Oh well. First snow of the year, earlier than usual, my city is below sea level so it is quite unusual to snow so early here. I'm a snowboarder so hopefully the ski fields will stay open past Christmas (Southern hemisphere remember) like they have in previous years.

Come on wolfie.. You know you liked those pictures of Rome.

Anyways, wtf, they park on the side walks? And that street in only like 10 feet across! Wow, makes everything seem so big here. mellow.gif
Fuzzy Knight
Driving in Rome - is hell...

On the way to the airport, no one wears seatbelt, the driver talks in the mobile (without handsfree of course) and the avarage speed was about... 160 km/t.

In the streets we got a taxi driver who didn't know where the aparment was, so he just parked in the middle of the road too talk to some peeps while there was oncoming traffic.

And... the sitting on the bus is a nightmare, they drive like people who have stollen the bus and is mentally unstable. They wave their hands, talk in the phone and try to hit those poor italians on their mopeds...

lol - Sick laugh.gif

I liked the pics of Rome! Then again I'm very interested in ancient Rome, and the game Rome: Total War is my all time favorute game so far. It's the one I'm currently playing while I wait for my urge to play Oblivion comes back...

Anyway, the narrow streets are typical for ancient cities that were surrounded by city walls. No need for wider streets since only pedestrians and horses were using them, and they had to get as many houses as possible cramped into a relatively small area.

If you ever go to Malta I recommend visiting the ancient capital of Medina. It still has huge city walls, the city itself is quite tiny, and you can almost touch the houses on each side of the streets if you hold your hands out. Btw the bus drivers of Malta are certified maniacs as well, but they have cool buses... biggrin.gif

Sorry for the off-topic...
Ibis
Pisces, I love your hair longer! That's not a bad pic. Now eat a little more Melange Spice so you get the nice sexy Dune Eyes like Muad'Dib .... *sigh*

Edit * Oh & hit the slopes runnin' ..... !

And Fuzzy, when I was in Rome ... I was paralyzed for like a half an hour trying to cross the street at this one circle around a fountain or something! The people were absolutely insane, driving everywhere. There were no lanes of traffic, just everyone going around in the same direction at about 110 miles per hour weaving in and out like it was bumper cars. I'm surprised I'm not standing there at that curb still. I think my girl friend pulled me acrost with my eyes closed or something. Somehow, I got here. Whew!

Don't laugh (at least not too loud)
Ibis
Hey you're very handsome Pushtrak. I wasn't laughing at all. Nice pic!
Saffas Missionary
Hmmm... you read Dune Ibis? (little off topic so just add a yes/no in ur next post)

you dont look bad at all pushtrak, but not how I imagined you pisces. Not the fish I thought you were kvleft.gif
Ibis
Yes ... I love Dune and read it's sequel too.

Here is the fishy Pisces that we know FISHEYSTIX <----push

I think he got his brother or some other bipedal land mammal to pose in that other pic for him. Note the spicey blue eyes here = it is from the icy cold New Zealand waters.

Well, guys, I've pretty much decided to make a career in banditry.

Maybe I should post this one as well, it´s not so dark as the other one in the previous thread......
Ibis
That is the coolest pic, Minque. Did you say that the light in the front is from the flash? It came out so cool, it reminds me of the religious icons that my mom used to have hanging around the house (Polish) before the Roman Catholic priest visited and told her to take them down. I was little but I didn't like that.

Anyways, it's got the most beautiful lighting to it. You look great and mysterious too.

Thanks for the kind words" Well yes the light is from the flash.....I was in a bit of luck, that pic came out alright I think. Well it is new, it´s taken just some week or two ago, so it´s me as Í am now.....just add glasses of course! I am mysterious you know!!!! biggrin.gif

Maybe I shouldn´t have a haircut.....hmmm tongue.gif
Ibis
No no no ... don't get a haircut. Well, at least, I wouldn't. I love long hair especially on myself, but really I like it on everyone. Some people look good with real short hair, if they have great bone structure. Other than that everyone should have long hair. But that's just my opinion.

I hate hair at the length where you have to curl it and hairspray it and all that jazz to make it look halfway decent.

But don't listen to me Minque .... I'm probably old fashioned.

Well I agree with you, at least on women with long hair. All women should have long hair! biggrin.gif

I can't speak for males, but many girls (I had quite a few 'regulars' when I was a musician) certainly lost interest in me when I cut my hair short... sad.gif tongue.gif

Anyway I like that pic of you minque, as I did with the pics you posted in the other thread. Very artistic - photo-shopped or not. It is an art to get pictures to look that good in Photoshop as well, so it's very cool! smile.gif

Many other great pics in this thread as well, like the one by Intestinal Chaos. Keep'em coming! smile.gif

Thanks!!! Hmm I won´t cut my hair just now I think......I´m getting kinda fond of it as it is!

The Metal Mallet
Well here's me celebrating St. Patrick's Day on my trip to France. I had a huge blast. I really enjoyed the fact that 18 year olds can get into bars tongue.gif I have to be 19 back here in Canada. At least that's better than the states, poor people have to wait till they're 21 in most states.

ooooooooooooooooooooooooo cold

ever been to miami FL. I live there and we see women in bikinis there cool.gif . do u in canada no because its tooooooooooo cold nono.gif
The Metal Mallet
Actually where I live, the temperature is quite nice, the winters only have a few really cold days and the summers only have a few extremely hot days. Perfect weather in my mind.

I wasn't dissing the US though, I was just pointing out the legal age to drink, I personally would think it would suck to wait that long while other places let you drink legally at a younger age.
hunter14
people still drink wether the law is against or with them
Ibis
How cute Metal Mallet - are you perchance Irish? You look really toasted! laugh.gif

Quite.

Getting a little off topic with posts like that though, lets stay on track shall we?
The Metal Mallet
Well Ibis, my family name is of Scottish/Irish background, I think I'm more on the Scottish side. But I'm Canadian, born and bred. The funny thing is that I have a neighbour with the same family name as mine, only we're not related, he's from the Irish side.

My head did get a little buzzy that night. We eventually ended up in front of a church in the old downtown area for a street party. There was like 200+ people there banging on garbage cans. A fun night indeed.
Fuzzy Knight
Got a picture from our prom/ball thingie we had. Were a lot of pic's taken but some had very poor quality I most say, but I've tired the best to make them look good lol... Hopefully I'll manage to throw in some new as soon as I get my hands on some of the pic's my friends took...

Me and Marte on this pic... smile.gif

Me and My Sister (now a resident of Toronto, ON)
This pic was taken 2 years ago, back when she was visiting us for the Christmass, but I didn't change much since then... I still have that ridiculous rare face hair and semi-long haircut (won't grow much after that point, no matter what indifferent.gif ) that covers my Dumbo-like ears... so, anyone who says that we look cute will be deemed BLASPHEMER! by moi tongue.gif
Foster
This is where I used to live. I mean, before I left Uni.

It might look nice, because of the sun and trees, but look close and the building. That's pebble dash. Nice! Each window is also a seperate room - and there are the same number on the other side. 24 little boxes, two kitchens, three toilets, one shower and one bath. And a laundry room that smelt of cheese.

Taken looking away from the main campus - the street behind it is the red light district of Bradford.

All in all, glad I'm somewhere else.
The Metal Mallet
Here's a picture of me posing for the camera (I tend to make a habit of it, I'm not camera shy but I just don't happen to have many photo opportunities).

This was during the long flight to Paris, they gave us little sleeping glasses so I decided I just HAD to have a picture of myself wearing them.

How pretty your girls are Minque. Which one is older? They look about the same age.

Fuzzy, I love your prom picture and your date is very pretty as well.

This pic I just adore ... South Pomoravlje, one of 2 main southern Serbian districts

It makes me wish I could live there too. So open and spacious and calm looking.

This pic was taken 1,5 years ago, the oldest one is the "preacher" in the black cloak, she´s the one who´s in Ann Arbor.......the other one doesn´t exactly look like that now! hehe...more dramatic nowadays I´d say!

But she´s taller than her elder sis anyway! Now they are 20 and 17......

hah, not quite laugh.gif The scenery you see is all chopped up into little individual fields that are being farmed like it was still 19th century wacko.gif and the teritorial disputes between neighbours, ow man... medievil, allright.
Ibis
Yes, it does look sort of divided up or segmented, but I thought maybe that was different crops. How deceptive a pastoral landscape can be!
Pisces
I keep on thinking I should bring my camera up snowboarding to get some photos for Ibis, there is always lots of hawks eating road kill along the road and they are very pretty, and large too, and they're not afraid of humans so it would be quite easy to get a close picture of them. But I always forget and right now I am inbetween cameras, but some day Ibis I will get a picture of my city from the clouds.
Ibis
OMG, Pisces I just sent you a pm wishing that you could get photos taken on the mountainside ... and I had not seen your post here yet. We are really starting to think alike. teehee

Except these huge hawk birds - are you thinking of fixing me up for a date with one? I am a bird too, but I'm already mated, remember. laugh.gif tongue.gif laugh.gif

But yess, yes please do get me some action shots of you snowboarding! Why did you have to drop that other camera? blink.gif

Alright, a few more pics from me - didn't want to drop them all at once onyaz ! biggrin.gif Wiki references are also here, for your convinience.

Liberator's Monument, in the center of Nis
Serbia was always a tormented land, constant wars, fighting, uprisings... this monument that stands in the very center of the city is dedication to all it's liberators from wars that took place in 19th and 20th century. We know damn well how bloody is the price of freedom.

Main street in Nis
Dosens of stores, cafe's, and whatnot in there, and no traffic... sadly, I seldomly go there, since that's a more expencive part of the city, so tongue.gif

My street, Nemanjica boulevard

named after the eldest serbian royal dynasty, House of Nemanjic, this street was previously known as Lenin's Boulevard - but, after the downfall of communist rule in Serbia, city officials have decided to rename this street, the second largest in the entire city. The 3rd building from bottom which you (might) see on the left is one I live in... it's a noisy, wild place, but it has it perks.

p.s.: Bonus Picture - PHEAR !!!
I just returned from teh VIllage and had (naturally) a fight with me old man, whose bad temper I've (sadly) inherited... so, I'm tired, my muscles are screamin', I'm litterally stinking and am filthy, my face has suffered from illness and dirt (acne & other lovely things) and am, basically, at lowpoint here. And what do I do ? Take a pic of meself. Be scared... be very, VERY scared. This is not the Mil you would like to know.
DoomedOne
I'll have a picture up pretty soon of what I really look like (I used a professional model for the last one)
