hello, im new to rp and would like to give it a try, plz be nice to me :embarrassed:

Class:Warrior

Brief History: Born and raised on a farm, he wanted to do what he couldn't: become a fighter. his father forced him to help with farmwork. he did so until the age of 11 when his home was raided by a small group of bandits. his father and mother (the equivalents to a modern day war protester) did not own a single weapon. They were slaughtered while he hid underneath a loose floorboard. he was taken in by the local fighters guild (ironic, right?) and trained in the art of heavy swordsmanship.

Personallity:Quiet among strangers, extremely outgoing in front of friends.
in battle he has been described as a "tactical berserker" as he thinks for a moment, then charges blindly into battle. He only carries with him his armor, sword, and food (plus bow). he tried to learn magic as a sort of battle back up, failed. and is currently failing at teaching himself marksmanship. dislikes high elves and their stereotypical holier-than-thou attitude, also dislikes potion guzzlers. doesnt like to kill ppl younger and/or less experienced than himself and WONT kill women.

Other Phys. Attributes: Height: 6' Full Suit of reinforced steel armor (heavier and stronger than reg. steel armor) Daedric Claymore, Steel Longbow and a few arrows. Normal dunmer face with medium length black hair that doesnt really have a style. medium build, yet quite strong. running speed is high but he lacks in agility. a fairly good battle tactician and knowledgable, yet lacks street smarts.

Shogun your character looks amazing. And remember, you are quite stong, but don't power play (Example Osano pulled out hus sword and within minutes, the whole oblivion army was dead).

The things that has been happening is that...

Cyrodiil has been attacked by demons, our group so far (Shakur, Falx, Konrad, Fenris, Jonacin, Serene, Celia, Sel and Acro(me) have been fighting these demons and Sel has ecountered a evil sorcerer who has the power to take soul trap on humans. Now we have all met in a Inn and are heading for Vvardenfell... :goodjob:

Well, I don't know.. See my character just left home and never came back so they might be alive, they might be dead.. It's never really crossed Falx's mind

Er, what do you mean, Shakur? If that's who you're talking about, then no. Because Celia has family (including parents and extended family) in Cyrodiil, but she lives in a different area than them. She lives mostly on her own, though.
EDIT: Not to mention, she's easily distracted and has bad memory, so she often forgets she has a real family (she easily gets close to strangers).

I find it easier to RP without any ties.

Of course not.

It just seems like having parents is illegal in this RP. About four or five people have dead parents.

Sel's dad is alive, mother dead, but from starving herself, no assassins or anything.

Fenris' parrents could be living, they could be dead. Either way, they're in Skyrim. Be it in a town, or 6 feet under the ground.

Jonacin's parents died of natural causes about 5 years before all this happens

Well it usually triggers people to go out, trying to forget about their parents death and revenge against evil if that killed them and all that... On a character I have in D&D I've played with that one almost a year, she is totally crazy about killing undead because here family worked at a graveyard and they came to life by a Black Guard... :shocked:

Can you give us a little story as to how you obtained Umbra? That would be pretty cool and all being that it's.. uhh.. Well the story takes place maybe 30 or so years after oblivion...

humm that would make me rather old i said I was 25(am in real life) but that would make my character older than that.. Ok I will see what I can come up with. So 60 plus years after morrowind. wow. So basically in between that time somewhere.

Do to the whole time space continuem, the story isn't at the same time as morrowind.. Or else that would make it kinda overworked..

Or the more simplyfied answer is, for the last several hundred posts I've try'd to make it quite a bit longer after Oblivion happened... a more unique settung right?

Ok I got ya...don't nm it. I can come up with something in that time frame.. humm but for the age I can alter that and say unknown.

Ok Chandler I came up with this.

Story of the Umbra.

While I was walking through the woods I came across an orc. When I asked his name, he told me it didnot matter and I could call him by the name of his sword "Umbra". He looked upset, so I asked if I could help him. He told me that he wondered why the gods did not put someone in this world that could defeat him in battle, allowing him to achieve his goal of death during battle. He asked if I could do him this favor.

I accepted his offer. At that time I was using the Ice Blade of the Monarch. We drew are swords and the battle began.

The battle was long and tiring. Sword clinging together, slashing, and thrusting. As both of us was moving around in circles dodgeing each others attacks. He slashed towards me grazing across my chest with the tip of his blade. Bleeding badly I new I had to keep fighting. So I thrusted at him, he deflected my thrust but I caught him in his right arm. He backed up and slashed at me, I move and thrusted at him again grazing his stomach. He then pulled back and thrusted at me, in deflecting his thrust he grazed across my left leg. I then backed up to rethink my attack. He slashed at me, as I was moveing out of the way he grazed across my back giveing me a deep cut at and angle from my left shoulder to my left midsection of my back. I fell to my knees weak and tired. I seen him from the corner of my eye thrust at me, I pulled the Monarch up in time to deflect the thrust and then with all the strength I had I thrusted at him puting the Monarch through his chest. He fell to the ground and in his last breath told me thanks for giving him the death he deserved and to take good care of his sword Umbra.

The battle had ended and I was badly wounded and weak. I finally make it back to my feet trying to make it to the village near by to get to a healer. I made it out of the woods before I collapse along side a trail. I awake with a healer standing over me healing my wounds. To this day I do not know who she was, but hope to some day come across her to thank her for her gratitude.

Ok that is my story. Hope it is note worthy.

However, I htink Channler meant ways to get the sword other than fighting umbra since the time frame does not put you and Umbra together.

well i figured it would show some skills also but in all it is rp and he could of still been around, and I stumbled across him. but you are right i didn't think of that.. umm.

interesting character mazuk. your char. and my char. seem to be an awful lot alike....would be an interesting fight if their swords met :evil7:

Have you ever thought that you fought a different orc who's name is actually bob and he kiled the real umbra then traveled the worlds as his kind of heir seeing as he is the only one good nough to defeat umbra then he would look for a worthy death. This is why he told you that you should just name him by his sword.

Oourse he could of still been around.

Of course, the DEVs have said any character that has a quest to kill them is considered dead in the next game. Any one without a quest involvingtheir death is alive. So techincally, hes dead as a doornail.

So perhaps like any artifact, Umbra left the nerevarine's possesion and ended up in someone's hands....

Yeah i will rethink it in the story about Mazuk...

I like your character Mazuk. Looks like him and Shakur will get along fine because he seems to be a normal person. No deep emotional problems it seems.

Think Arco would get along with him too... Because he doesn't sound annoying.. :goodjob:

I think I am going to redo the Umbra thing but it is going to be in my story still the same person and fighting though.... I have a good idea brewing.
