about the meeting in Vivec.

I was wondering if you guys who are in Vivec woould attend. and also for the mean time take on the role of random concerned citizens. I don't mind if no one is up to it, but it is only for this one event.

I plan the council will cover topics about the attacks, as well as to house affairs. I am sure there will be some complaints about the silent and undiscussed alliance between Megil and Florodine. I expect there would be concerns about safety and also about taxes and the like. I am sure you guys can come up with several topics to bring up in the council. I won't start it until I have some participation.

akar will go, if he isn't charmed yet. I'll be a townsperson or two as well.

And if Sel can ever escape his time-warp, he'll go too.

Cerpin? The reason i thought this might be good is because telvanni would most likely accept the Silhouette since he is an extremely powerful battle mage.

Though i suppose Redoran would make sense too, since they are warriors, and the Sil. would repect them for that. I hope Aki gets back soon, it's been longer then a week

-Amili has sent Aryon and Therana to kidnap Akar, in order to take Gnisis. (Telvanni doesn't want Baladas' friendship with Serene to get in the way of his House duties(taking Gnisis, namely), so they figure that if Serene's osn is kept hostage, then she can convince Baladas to stay loyal)

-the silhouette wants to join Hosue Redoran, so he's making stuff for them, and has recruited the Brood. (soulseeker's char's gang) He's chilling in Dagon Fel

-Sel's about to try getting past the blockade to Cyrodiil with Leni and Miles.

-Dimitre stabbed Akar, Serene healed him, and we're waiting to see what happens next

-Serene's about to leave with Master Aryon. No doubt something to do with their plan to capture Akar

-Isaarin is making battle plans

Yeah, tell that to the health potions that take me for 30 HP back to 180 HP.

'Energy' is the magic, Megil. It does expedite the process, the more energy poured in, the faster and better the job is done. Magic defies all scientific things. Of course the body can't heal like that...but with magic it can. Afterall, magic can already make you move super fast, make you ultra strong, drain the life from your foes, allow you to fly through the air.

Regenerating tissue pretty fast isn't all that far-fetched, after all that. Magic doesn't need to follow the rules. It bends the rules as it wishes.

And the healers *are* there.

Seriously, you could probably ask in the Lore Forums of the official forums, they'd tell you the same thing. Healing magic is quite capable of repairing grevious wounds if one has the skill. Key word being skill - PC chars are more advanced than NPCs. Just as any of the fighters, like Lykaon, or Megil, or Selenil can kick the compassion out of standard grunts, a healer like Serene should be able to handle wounded men that would easily have died under the care of normal healers.

I'm not saying all healing magic is uber, but it has the potential to be as uber as destructive magic is, and at the same price (draining on magick reserves for a mage, and expensive for anyone using a magic item).

Most NPC mages are going to have potions and scrolls you used when you were a noob. Theres a reason the potions are labeled as they are. Most NPCs only have common potions, or if lucky, quality ones. It generally takes being a PC to maintain the sort of wealth for a decent number of exclusives. The spells they cast will be of similar quality. Not good enough to save mortally wounded men, where a PC healer of skill just might pull that off...

alright, here's my plan thingy

tensions between telvanni and redoran are already forming with the ashlander situation, but I think Akar will be the catalyst. with Telvanni taking a councillor's son, and Redoran helping Telvanni's enemies, a war will happen quickly once Serene gives the news to Ravvin or any other Redoran.

and I figured out where we were in the whole ashlander scene, so I posted that as well.

Alrighty then....but Akar is Serene´s son and she is not a councillor..but.....she is a very important member of House Redoran ..so hehe, the reddies will be very upset about the kidnapping and Raavin will most certainly grab the opportunity of attacking Telvanni ferociously.

So ok now I´m gonna go read the rp-thread and make some good posting...

Thanks for the clarification, glad I didn't post in the playground then.... I just started reading through these forums about two weeks ago and I have literally hundred and hundreds of things to read just to catch up, plus I am writing my own story at the moment, so maybe once that stuff is done, and I have read through all of your characters respective stories, working on serene's now, I will consider joining in. but for now I am not ready to post my character yet, plus I am not sure if I want him to get into a side-running storyline as he may not conform appropriately. Perhaps we will meet here again someday.

Sorry i havent been around, i was kinda hypicritical by saying this place was dead, and then not posting. however i hope this place becomes more alive again, The war will help a lot, and i do hope Megil comes back, i really liked having him in the RP

In all honesty, i think the winter season is what makes this RP so slow. With school and all people don't have as much time to put into it. In the summer however, time is no issue.

Anyways, back to actual discussions....

Well it depends! As for me, I use Serene, but it´s really not exactly "the Serene" from my fanfic, even though the similarity is very obvious.

You do not have to use a fanfic charachter, just create one, post his/her stats in the "charachter-thread", catch up with the latest events, tell here in this thread what your plans are..then role-play!

Well as for the re-kidnapping of Akar, the Silhouette happens to be joining Redoran. He is the leader of a huge army, but he is also very stealthy, which is how he snuck into NV and attacked Megil so much. So im going to speed up him joining redoran, and have him march south with his huge army of Redoran dressed orcs. His goblins will stay up north and guard his city of Dagon Fel
