"Yeah,.....west it must be" Dahleena shrugged, happy to be away from the water, "I´m hungry, isn´t here a plantation nearby? Maybe we could get something to eat?"


OOC: Dren plantation is on their way, maybe they could go there...

Stauros->Balmora Outskirts

"Okay sounds good to me. So any ideas what we should do when we get there?" Stauros looked and saw a sign post for Pelgaid. "Hmm seems were are almost there." The sceanery was rushing past them as them pushed onward to Vivec.

Dalrus, Pelegiad



"Well for all we know its only a fire, a big fire, but i suppose we should find out what's going on first, and then we'll talk then, though it couldn't be an army, none of the houses would try something like that, at least not untill Megil takes a side" she said driving her chariot

ooc: "he has to be able to use magic to some extent otherwise that's not fair."

Agreed some magic, just know that overall the enemies available Magicka has been terribly decreased due to the leach. but war is far from fair. The defensive end has the advantage in this case, since you chose to attack a well armed fortress of a city

Vivec

The spells struck the outer magical barrier, protecting the mages within the city. Megil laughed as the lit artillery was launched over the walls.

"What do they think that a city of stone will burn? don't quench the flames, it will act as a barrier from their further progress into the city. The winds are blowing inland, so prepare to launch one batch o the mortal weapons."

the Ordinators on the Walls continued to fight against the horde, managing with the aid of Mages to destroy several of the siege towers.

Meanwhile, at the trebuhets in the inner city, Large netch leather sacks where being positioned.

"FIRE!"

the sacs flew over the wall and into the enemy, were they burst to realease the thousands of mushroom spores within. The spores would suffocate those who inhaled them, and would later cause breathing disfunctions and death depending on the level of exposure. The spores would also be carried by the wind further inland, and into the enemy camp.

Others yet were filled with glass and explosive spell to be triggered upon impact, launching sharp shards of glass into the enemy forces.

Sel, New Vivec

"I'll go try to find Megil, or some Ordinator that can tell me how to help out." Sel said, grabbing his sword from the doorway where he left it. "Is there anyone to watch Leni?" he asked, suddenly remembering the girl as he tightened his sword belt around his waist.

Akar, On The Road

"From my experience," Akar began, "Owners of plantations don't just let you eat their food and stay under their roofs. Maybe we should stay clear."

The Silhouette, Battle



The Horde continued charging up the wall, ladders were everywhere, and everytime one fell another took his place. The Silhouette slashed the head off of one of the mages, and through it into the city. Then he raised his hand, and different missles fell into the city, hitting many of the buildings and callapsing them. The Silhouette raised his hand again, and pots with a noxeous gass were thrown over the walls, and into the city. The gas itself could kill, but if it hit fire, it would explode. Many did hit the fire, and large explosians hit the inner part of the city.

Many goblins now were on the walls, fighting the ordinators hand to hand. A large group of them went down the stairs leading to the walls, and into the city. Killing anyone they came across.

The Silhouette now saw the mushrooms, and ordered the hide of guars to be placed up over the camp on polls, the mushrooms would land on the hide, and the gas would rise.

OOC: Well yeah, but the plantation still remains.....I guess!



Serene Vivec

"Hmm...I´ll check if the girl who comes in every day to clean the house is still there, then I´ll ask her to stay a while longer, then I´ll just follow you out....and teleport to Balmora to see Thanelen"


Dahleena, On the road

"Jeez, silly!, I wasn´t thinking of asking for permission.....I thought we could just...sort of take what we need, sinceOrvas dren is dead anyway, and there´s total anarchy on that plantation, according to my information"

Lykaon, New Vivec

Lykaon shook his head. He however, realized what the sirens meant, and cursed them, the damn loud things hurt like hell on his sensative ears. Lykaon hurried towards the battle he could faintly hear, the smell of burnt flesh and spilled blood.



And so it came to past that Lykaon ran into a bunch of Goblins, just in time to see a few foolish and sadly, unskilled adventurers get cut down trying to stop the horde. Lykaon leapt at a large goblin with a feral roar, Akavirian katana drawn. Dark blood splattered on the street as the Goblin's head was removed from its' shoulders. Lykaon finished with his dramatic entrance by looking at the goblins coldly (well, as coldly as one can look in a mask).

Then the heavily armored swordsman tore into their ranks mericlessly.

The Silhouette, New Vivec


OOC: Well the hides can still stop the bags from hitting the ground.


[/B]The Silhouette continued to lop off the heads of the many foes, however, Miran had still not sent the reinforcements. Though the Silhouette was sure they would eventually come. The Moldair had long since, left the battle, only to come when the Silhouette gave the signal.



Florodine, Molag Mar.




Things were ready, around fifty thousand men poured out of the city, in picture perfect lines. At their head in special golden hand armor, Florodine stood at his place with the other hands. He Fired off a volly of powerful magic and signalled the force to leave. The city cheered as their mage-warrior king left to battle, Though his armor looked heavy, it was actually quite light, and allowed much mobility. The force continued its journey for many hours, they would not stop untill they reached new Vivec.

OOC: the bag would still burst, and spores will drift downards as well, but if you chosoe to do what you want. it will only hurt you in the end. *evil snicker*

Also Aki f you ahd read my posts, the city is entirely silent, everyone has evacuated into the undercity and into safety. there are no citizens on the streets when the goblins break over the wall, especially since it's been like what at least an hour into this battle?

Vivec

"Sir the enemy has erected barriers against the spores. Though even with this we are still holding them at the wall"
"Very well, they choose to cover themselves do they? Ignite their tarps, let them burn under their own faulty defenses"

And as such, mages fired volleys of fireballs quickly catching the thin leather on fire. The smell of burnt flesh filled the air. The siege weaponry coninued to fire volleys of rocks and weapons, breaking through the tarps, and causing the spores to be trapped between the earth and the tarps, making it much mroe concentrated and deadly.

"This enemy while it has a huge mass, has little intelligence."

The Silhouette, New Vivec


While some goblins died under the tarps, the majority escaped before they fell. The Silhouette ordered moregas to be fired at the ordinators. The gas destroyed groups of ordinators, Mean while a battering ram had reached the gate, and was doing great damage to it. It was only a matter of time now. And now the Silhouette just needed to break the magic barrier

Stauros->Near the battle near Vivec

Stauros called for a halt when he could see the battle clearly.

"Hmm, it seems who ever is attacking is throwing everything they have against those walls."

Stauros turned to dalrus, "Dalrus you stay here" and walked to the front of the troops for a better look and saw the Silhouette's camp. upon further examination there seemed to be not that many troops in the camp.

Stauros headed back to the chariot and talked to Dalrus, "Well there is a base camp just beyond those trees and it doesn't seem like there are many troops. If done right we can take out the camp and hold it ourselves, it is in a pretty good tactical location, we could hold it for quite a while with our troops. What do you say? We would have to go semi stealth though."

ooc:sorry guys i just got a new game yesterday and I was playing it...

Battle Vivec

The Ordinators on the Wall, continued to slay the oncoming goblins, and the mages had taken on a much more effective method of using blasts from spells to knock groups of enemies of the walls at once, instead of spending more energy attacking individuals.

The sylphs milled in the water bellow, shredding anything that came into the waters. Upon seeing the battering Ram, several Sylphs attacked the baterring ram from underneath, managing to lift it up of the water and tilt it on its side, they then went to work on the operators,

While the battle was going on, a mage had managed with a blast to knock a moldai of the wall. A sylph leaped out of the water, and quickly jammed her lance through it's neck, she took it wit ehr into the depth of the water, were other sylphs joined in tearing it's limbs apart.

OOC: He was actually looking for directions too

"And that would be where, exactly?" Jonacin asked, mildly irritated

Ordinator, New Vivec

"You see that tall Building over there, towering above all the others? That's it, It really isn't to hard, just follow this road to the plaza stear to the right and follow that road. It will take you to the main Plaza, once you are there you will see a large path turn onto that and it will be right in front of you."

Jonacin
Jonacin thanked the Ordinator and folowed his directions. When he reached the Hall of Justice, he asked around until he was directed to Megil's offices. He knocked on the door, and entered a couple of seconds later. "Megil, i was just wondering if you wanted or needed my help with anything. Being cooped up for too long with nothing to do agitates me"

Megil-HOJ

Megil turned to Jonacin,

"Well While I don' expect the enemy to get past the walls, you are more than free to join the battle. There is a small platoon leaving to relieve some of the officers, you can join them if you wish. I am sure your presence will act as a great morale boost.

Jonacin
"Sure thing. Might be nice to be back in the thick of battle again, should they get that far"

Akar, On the Road

"Fine, we'll stop by there." Akar said, not looking forward to dealing with whatever scum was making the plantation home.

Sel, New Vivec

"If we hurry, we might be able to catch Jonacin." Sel suggested. "He didn't leave all that long ago."

Dahleena, On the road

"Good, and don´t you worry boys...I´ve dealt with far worse scum than those we might encounter at Dren Plantation....I´ll ehrrmm use my charm!!


Serene New Vivec

Serene hurried down the stairs after checking out that Leni was taken care of, also she grabbed her big worn leather-back-pack, containing her magical and alchemical equipment.

"Ok I´m ready, let´s go then..I brought some gear that might come in handy, " she smiled.

They hurried along the street to catch up with Jonacin. Serene sent a telepahic message to her husband:

"Jonacin darling, we are also coming, Sel and I, so you tell Megil, will you?"

Akar, On the Road

"That must be the place." Akar said, pointing ahead, not commenting on his displeasure concerning the scum and Dahleena's 'charms'.

Sel, New Vivec

"See if you can find out who's attacking us." Sel said, figuring that Serene was communicating with someone with that odd mind of hers.

ooc: there are'nt any moldair in the battle at the moment, sorry.



The Silhouette, New Vivec.




The Silhouette saw that the battle was not going well, however they were inflicting heavy losses upon the enemy. Quite a few buildings fell underneath the weight of rocks being thrown, however the Silhouette was not concentrating on the battle, he did not even care if they lost, he was not their to conquer, he was only their to lead the army of Miran away from Miran. The Moldair had their own interests in mind. He put a strong orc in command of the army, and set off, satisfied that the army was now preoccupied.

He jumped off the walls, and called to the moldair and silhouettes. The group headed to the edge of the battle, and with their durzogs transported themselves to Nathanoj. Miran heard them right away, and went down to see what had happened.

"What is the meaning of this?" he shouted at the Silhouette.

"You never shipped the rest of our people over as we asked. We have been planning this for quite some time" the Silhouette hissed.

Miran did not reply, a blast of magic shot from him. And the Silhouette blocked it. He fired back a blast of Silhouette magic, which Miran barely blocked. Miran retorted with a mind control spell, but the Silhouette was not effected and vanquished Miran with another shot. The moldair spread through out the tower now, killing all the mages within. The tower was toppled with a huge blast from all the silhouettes and the moldair cheered.

They now waited for the army to die...


Dalrus, Near Battle



"Come now stauros, they don't have any cavalry, we will ride them down like grass. Plus look there..." she said pointing towards a mass of 50,000 ordinators coming down. "I think by their outfits they are of Molag Mar, and unless im wrong the great Florodine leads them. His magic is unknown, however it is powerful and i suspect they along with us must end this battle"



Florodine, Near Battle



The Army had finally reached the battle, and it was a dreary seen. Thousands of goblins surrounded the place, and smoke rose from rubble being smashed. However for the most part it looked like the gates and walls had heald. The Goblin army was huge though so was Florodine's. He fired off a volly of peculiar green magic, to let Megil know of his presence

Jonacin
"Jonacin heard Serene's voice echoing in his mind. HE stopped and leaned against a wall, waiting for her and Sel to catch up with him

Dahleena, On the road

Dahleena looked where Akar was pointing at, and yes it was Dren Plantation....or what was left of it! A miserable bunch of shacks, and then there was the Villa, the former Mansion of the former Camonna Tong leader, Orvas Dren. Surely no sensible person would even think of living there now, as it looked! Windows broken, the walls were shattered and in desperate need of some basal maintenance...But still it had a roof and walls, so it should be able to serve as shelter. There were no immediate sign of life on the premises, but a bit of caution could never hurt.

"Akar, this place really look a little creepy....." Dahleena was whispering now.....not as cocky as she was half an hour ago.


Serene, New Vivec

OOC: Odd mind?

"I´m trying, Sel, but I isn´t easy...Jonacin has not even met Megil yet..and there´s so much disturbance, I can´t get through!"

Serene made a painful grimace.....her head hurt very badly now and she felt pretty ill....

OOC: yeah, I couldnm't think of another word. Odd seemed to fit though; who else can read minds? Akar can sort of, but he can't control it.

Akar, Dren Plantation

"We won't go then." Akar said, changing course to miss the plantation. "We can set up camp a few miles ahead. Maybe we can kill a nix hound or something." Akar still couldn't get used to Vvardenfell's wildlife; no deer or any other normal game animals.

Sel, New Vivec

"What's wrong?" Sel asked, noting her grimace.

OOC: I think Jonacin did talk to Megil...

Dahleena, Outside Dren plantation

"Yeah...ugh..you´re right sweetie!" Dahleena cuddled up to Akar and held tight to his arm
"Why we could sleep tight together....I mean to keep warm, couldn´t we?....And killing a nixie is a piece of cake, they are so clumsy teehee.....hmm a coulple of scribs would be nice though....the jelly! yummy"

Dahleena was all cheerful now....she took a few dance-steps and then hugged Akar rather hard.....

"Ahhrrgghh, too many minds that interfer! it hurts....but ..oh yes, Megil has told Jonacin to join the ....the....."

Serene was silent.....they had reached the Hall of Justice now.....odd thing nobody approached them....they could just wander off.....and so they arrived at Megil´s chambers,,,

Stauros->battle field

"Hmm how convinient, so we talk the base camp and then work our way tward the Molag Mar troops."

Stauros pulled out his bow, "Troops! We are going to assault the enemy camp. then we will work our way twards the Molag Mar army, lead by the great Florodine. First we will have a few archers take outt he sentries and then our calvery will go strait though and scramble the goblins and then our infantry will move in and clear out all other resistance. Any objections?"

"Yeah..." Akar said, surprised by the sudden outburst of happiness. "We can do all that." he said, hugging her back.

Sel, New Vivec

"Well there's Jonacin." Sel said, as they appraoched the redguard leaning against a wall.

Dalrus, New Vivec



"Lets go, i will lead the knights, while you lead the main group of infantry, though we don't need infantry now that Florodine is here. I have been meaning to talk to him, though i dont think he wants an alliance with hlaalu. Anyway get ready to come after i have charged the main camp."


Florodine, New Vivec



Florodine's army was ready to charge. He also heard the Serene was in the city, and desired a talk with her. The army formed up into lines and Florodine gave the signal for the charge.

"For the Temple!" they shouted as they charged. Fifty thousand troops in armor was quite a loud noise, and the orcs turned towards this new enemy. Florodine and the high ordinators ran in front of the force, brandishing their great swords, and enchanted armor.

Falx Albarnias
New Vivec

Falx rose, bleary eyed, and nearly tripping over the carpet on the side of his bed just to race towards the window.

"Bloody hell." He cursed as a rock from one of the enemy's seige weapons arc'd across the sky and landing somewhere in New Vivec.

"Get me my armor! Quick! Wheres that new errand boy I assigned?!" Falx's personal servants were already on the move for his armor, quickly grabbing it and strapping it on to their lord. Falx breathing grew heavy with each layer of armor they layed upon him. The poision was taking a turn for the worst.

He peered out the walls, and noticed now goblins were now scaling them.

"Come, follow me and gather the rest of the soldiers, were not sitting this one out!'

Raxle O'Conner
New Vivec

"compassion.." Raxle mumbled under his breath as he sighted a lone goblin.. "compassion compassion compassion.. Hah, I wonder if I'll have my position after this little screw up."

The little screw up he was refering to was him falling asleep in one of the canals of the city, after Megil hadn't given him any more orders he simply dismissed the soldiers and fond a place to nap.

"Alright, on three.. One.. two.." His count was interupted as a projectile flew into the building that loomed above him, sending stones flying about. "hamster it!!" He screamed as took off, running over the goblin whilst sticking him through the neck with his sword.

He looked over to the New Legion Office to see that several soldiers had already formed there, most of them being the newly instated Centorians. This new class of soldier wore the heaviest of armor, and carried with him each a crossbow and longsword. Raxle then spotted Falx, and noticed the weight with which he moved.

"My lord! Sorr.." Raxle began

"No need for excuses now lad, seems New Vivec has got a bit of a problem! Take this men, and get them to the gate, I've got a runner that told me the goblins are trying to break it down! Now go!"

Raxle took off with 40 or so men off to the main gate of New Vivec, hopefully there they would prove some of their use.

Stauros->"camp"

Stauros waved to the archers and they moved ahead with their commander(just a highly respected archer really) and Stauros told the remaining troops to get in positions. HE turned to Dalrus, "Well I think you can run in now, before the archers start plundering and getting way over their heads"

OOC: Noo.....you think so?...


Dahleena, On the road

She smiled....maybe maybe..there would be a chance...

Then she suddenly spun around and thew herself to the ground, on top of an innocent scrib who just peeked out from under a corkbulb-plant

"Woah!....supper!" Dahleena quickly took the head off the small animal and showed Akar.

" So tell me I´m good now!"


Serene, New Vivec

She rushed to Jonacin´s side and hugged him warmly.

"Mmmm it´s good to be here with you again " she said, " Now tell us what´s going on please darling"

Akar, The Road

"Lucky." Akar replied with a smile.

Dalrus, New Vivec.



"Very well we better get there before Florodine kills everyone." She said riding off with the knights. She was in her gold chariot, but had it unstrapped for the battle. She mounted the kagouti, and then led the force off. They charged off with great vigour, and soon formed into line. Hlaalus leader had not been seen for quite some time, but if he was in the city, she would protect it to the last. The Kagoutis now sprinted for the camp. They saw the archers already steadily fireing into the place, but hundreds of goblins poured out from tents. They were just about to reach the archers when the knights reached them. They crashed with great impact, crushing the goblins under the kagoutis. She took out her long sword, and fired a lot of electricity out of it.

Many goblins fell this way, and others fell to her sword skills. She was like a monster to them, crushing many under her blows. Meanwhle Florodines men crashed into the orcs and goblins. The fight was huge now. The crash of metal filled the air. The Knights dashed here and there killing all they met. She was in her battler armor which glowed in the early morning sun...

DahleenaOn the road

"Now there" she laughed..."Do you want supper or not?.....then tell me I´m a good hunter..huh..or else..."

She giggled and started to pel the scrib..

OOC: or whatever you do to a scrib to get the goodies out!

Stauros->battlefeild

Stauros heard the clash and waited a few more seconds and then charged off to the camp with his warriors in toe.

"Leave no goblin alive! We loot After we clean the place up!" Stauros yelled as they were advanding on the camp.

When they reached the camp the first line struck some remaining goblins and pushed on through, obliterating them and only slowing a bit. The Infentry started spreading as they worked their way throught he camp cleaning out tents and anywere else the goblins might be.

Dalrus, New Vivec




Dalrus continued with her knights, dashing back and fourth within the battle, slaying any they came across. A large orc took down three soldiers, and a sergeant. "Those were good Dunmer you nwa!" she shouted at the orc. She fired a powerful amount of lightning into the enemy, which instantly fried him into ash. Those near him were also killed. She swung her sword around and used it as a wand of sorts, along with the blade for normal killing.


"Stauros stay and fight here in the camp, i will lead the knights to help in the main battle" she yelled across to him. She didnt wait for a reply and dashed off towards the other parts of the battle. She launched some magic at a group of goblins, and then dashed among them killing them.

Jonacin
"Not too much. Megil just asked me to head to the wall and relieve an officer so he can get some rest, and to bolster morale"

Akar, the Road

"Fine, then, if it gets me dinner, you're the best hunter since...well, he best hunter before you." Akar answered with a chuckle.

Serene, new vivec

"Ok...sounds fair, by the way I brought some potions and amulets with me.....so i´ll be with you now..and .....maybe Sel as well..."


Dahleena, on the road

She prepared the scrib and offered Akar and Dimitre some of the delicious jelly...Then she got really tired and fell asleep as they were sitting by the fire, leaning her head against Akar´s shoulder with a happy smile in her face


OOC: I assume we have a campfire..and also that Dimitre is still with us...

Stauros->Silhouette's old camp

"Sure, why not?" said Stauros as Dalrus rode by him and then he finished off a goblin and looked around at all the dead. The infantry eventually slowed down and looked around for anymore goblins.

"OKAY! looks like we got all of them. Now I want all of our dead men in the center so we can keep record and I want the dead goblins at the sothern end of camp, piled up to make, more or less, a wall of sorts. Don't forget to loot the bodies first."

A cry of discust came from the crowd. "What do any of you have any better ideas?" Stauros said

"Uh sir mabey we could, uh bu, burn the bodies?" one of the lowlyer men suggested from the middle of the group.

"And give away that we took the camp? have you ever smelled burning goblin? the stench lingers through the air. No, we will hold the bas as long as we can. As a sanctuary of sorts."

The soldiers broke up into teams and started dragging bodies to the respective areas. Stauros started draggin goblins to the "wall" along with 4 other men.

ooc:now if I were making a story or it was an actual story there would be a paragraph or two describing the 4 other eople snd a conversation....

Dalrus, Battle



Dalrus continued the killing of the goblins. They were almost vanquished, and she retired with the Knights to the camp where they saw the looting going on. She fired off a few blasts killing goblins off a distance however the rest were being swept by the torrent of Florodine's men.

"Stauros, i think we won, however there is another legion of enemy that is on its way here, and i suggest we hold the camp until Florodine takes them out, or Megil leads his forces out and joins us."

Stauros->camp

"okay sounds good, we only lost a few people int he assault." Stauros looked over at the bodies. "Now we need to bury them respectfully."

Megil-HOJ

Megil heard of the signal and was glad that Florodine and Molag Mar had come to vivec's aid. Though he had also gotten news of retreating moldair, meaning the leaders of the army had left, a sure sign of retreat. the reserve troops didn't even have to be used, he was now glad of the investment that was put into the citie's defenses, adn would be sure that now tax payers would not complain, though they always found something to complain about. War was an expensive commodity, and Megil always tried toa void it, but how could he prevent a war with an unkown enemy attacking for unknown reasons.

Nonetheless he needed to end this battle soon. He ordered a portion fo the reserves to leave the undercity barraks, and to join the troops at the wall, to defeat the rest of the remaining golbins.

Raxle O'Conner
New Vivec, The Wall

"Damn't! There hamster cave retreating it seems!" Raxle, clearly pissed, refused to hold his composure even in front of the men he was supposed to lead, "compassion. Get up there on the wall and finish what you can!"

The rank-n-file soldiers shuffled of the steps to gain access to the top of the mighty walls of New Vivec. Here, was where the last of the skirmish was taking place. Occasionally a soldier would stop and take a shot with his crossbow, but they were on top of the wall in a mere matter of minutes joining in on the fray.

(OOC: I have not posted here for an absurdly long time, so if any of my post conflicts with any of the others, please notify me immediately and I will alter my post.)

Miles Plao, In View of New Vivec

Miles stared awestruck at the horrific scene in front of him. It was obviously a battle, but it seemed near finished.

He had decided to just stand back, hopefully far enough in the distance for no one to notice him, and watch it rage.

Upon leaving the outer edges of Zergonipal after the confrontation with the guard there, he had made his way to New Vivec, only to be met by this.

I guess the city isn't all its cracked up to be.

Miles leaned on the hilt on his drawn sword, as the tip of its blade pushed into the grass, and suddenly found himself contemplating the idea of taking a side . . .

Dalrus, New Vivec



"All that remains is for the armies to converge here, and take out the last legion of troops camped on the mount of comberry over there." She said dismounting

Stauros->Vivec

"Hmm, so do you want me to go chat with Florodine over there?"

Dalrus, New Vivec




"Well it couldn't hurt and he did fight the greater part of the battle. Yes i dont see why you shouldnt talk with him."
