Anything that exists in the morrowind or oblivion world, you can be (except already made characters, such as Dagoth Ur or Thunder the dog). And of course there will be rules, storylines (storylines will be made as the RP progresses) etc.

1. No god-modding (Acting super powerful and invincible; breaking the laws of physics)
2. No swearing, and keep it at MAXIMUM pg-13 for violence.
3. No killing other people's character's, although you can kill your own (I disencourage character suicide though).
4. Your characters must act like you were in a fantasy world, and not in a game.
5. You may have up to 2 characters, unless one dies, then you can make another one.
6. Using IC (In character) and OOC (Out of character) are highly recommended.

Like I said, the storyline is made up as it goes along. Start off your character doing whatever you want to do, throwing a rebellion against the Empire, helping the peasants... and then someone can build off of that and so on. There can be multiple things going on at once, since all of our characters are going to be in different places. This is not like a game, where we're all doing one thing (and are limited to that). I want you to have a free feeling to do whatever you want

I would encourage you not to join AMU ...it's kinda over but you might want to join WOH if you're interested in joining a running RP.

I'm interested in getting another started. Basicly I quit the last, why?, basicly I ruined it. I was irresponsible and started up something when I had no idea if I could keep an eye on it. Basicly my natural incompetence screwed up me having any fun (and possibly anyone else) and it is impossible for me to ever look at it like a clean slate again.

Unfortunatly I don't much see this RP working out. Why?, too broad. It must be centered around something. Though we may be able to grab in a small amount of RPers... the majority is going to be still running my rampant baby(WoH) and that sci-fi Rp.

Ahem! I told you, it's not just wander around and do nothing. The first person to post an IC will start something for the area that they are in, then someone can build off that, and so on, and an epic storyline is created as we go along. Now, if you people really want me to, I can make up a storyline (which I've done many times on other forums).

I'm just not sure anyone wants to put that kind of weight (or mental strain) in their shoulders, I'm sure I don't. It sounds ok, but I don't foresee success, of course I never was a very good seer

well it can still turn out fine. Even freeform RPs are planned, freeform just means its open for everyone to have a different character, and a different job, but still there is a general plot. So just state your idea and let people see if it is good

Looks: Short, at 5'4", wheres an extremely old red robe and carries absolutley no weapon except for a wooden cane he uses as a walking stick. Underneath this robe? Hundreds of scrolls. Gray hair, fairly long beard, old wrinkley skin, a weak old man in appearance.
History: workin on it
Class: A very skilled, very old mage. Knows all sorts of different spells, doesn't need to chant them. has a high Willpower making resistant to spells, however because he is so old, he is very feeble. basically you can't win in a spell match against him, but pull out a sword and he might be in trouble... maybe.
Personallity: In a word: Peaceful. Refuses to kill anyone anymore. But he may severely maime you if you threaten this peace of his.

Character looks: Kel has unkempt ear-length brown hair and slightly pointed ears with striking green eyes. He has a thin face and a light build with a youthful smirk on his face. He mostly dresses in simple but worn brown pants and green or brown shirts and leather boots. He has a longsword on his hip, and a dagger tucked into his boot. He is mostly viewed by the general public as a rowdy youth.

Personality: Kel is what he appears to be, a rowdy and troublesome youth. He tends to be headstrong and has flexible morals, but is by no means a killer. His life on the streets has taught him valuable lessons such as, never truly trust anyone, never respect authority ect.

History: Kel grew up an orphan in Balmora, stealing what he could to survive and spending frequent nights in jail. Around sixteen he joined a not-too-violent street gang and as been running the alleyways of Balmora ever since.

This takes place before and during the return of nerevarine, however Dagoth Ur has been growing greatly and might have enough power to invade before the nevarine can come back



Dagoth Ur has grown greatly. His power is from that of the god Lorken (sp?) The people of morrowind are indeed worried, but the empire does not heed these warnings and for that the people of morrowind sit and tremble. There are many who would join with dagoth if only to stay alive long enough to see their enemies fall. In a small city called Ashtabana, resting in the molag amur mountains, a hardy people see their lands becoming ever enclosed with ash storms and darkness. This site is considered holy by the temple, many a pilgrim and ordinator come to defend it from the impending storm. The Hlaalu found ebony deep within the mountains right where the town lies, and want it for their money hoarding purposes. Telvanni thinks this land is theirs for it lies closest to their lands. While Redoran, being the most pious of the houses (on vvardenfell) thinks that if the temple chose who would get it, it would be redoran. All will come to fight for the land, maybe not violent at first but later things could change. Meanwhile Dagoth Ur gains power, and allies.


In this time, Telvanni, Redoran, and Hlaalu need strong leadership. The temple needs a leader as well. And the town needs one as well. The neverine will be from this town, and will be selected by the Telvanni Redoran, Hlaalu and temple. The Jobs around town must be taken as well, such as the bar tender and office of the defense.

I'm just going to be blunt, that idea sounds terrible. And the Nerevarine is the reincarnation of Lord Nerevar, not a house appointed general or some sort of Morrowind-styled hero.

...and the Nerevarine can't come from within Morrowind. The whole concept is a Outlander hero.

Race: Argonian

Looks: You might think that argonians couldn't get any more lizard-like, but you were wrong. Ari has four fingers, unlike your everyday argonian, and her whip-like tail that can sometimes be better than a weapon. You wouldn't want a bite from her due to the fact that her pointy teeth are about half an inch long. She has very dark colored blackish/greenish scales which help her walk around in the night unnoticed (and she makes a good assasin/thief). Her eyes, which resemble a rising sun, are amber in color and seem to stare through whoever she looks at.
She wears black glass armour, and found out how to make argonian boots and tail plates, so you can't see much of her other than her face.

Biography: There are only two people in the entire world who know her entire past: Ari herself and someone called Nol who seemed to disappear and has not been found since. The only clue to her past is the charmed scrib she carries on her shoulder (whom she named Rock), bag of alchemy supplies, potions, and soul gems.

I may join this one, I'm not really into the whole War of Houses thing going. If I do join, I guess I'll just transfer one of my WoH characters over. I really don't know yet.

As for a story, well... I have had one in development for a while now. It still needs a lot of work and it's set in a different time period. So I doubt you would all like it anyways.

I guess I'll just wait to see how things turn out before I make any decisions.

Also, I just REALLY don't like the idea of this story Florodine came up with. I don't even want anything remotely like it. My only suggestion is that it takes place in Morrowind and doesn't start off as being so epic.

I just don't care for RPs that revolve around the great houses of Morrowind. It just seems a little stale and over-used. Though I guess it wouldn't matter (don't you just hate people with neutral personalities?). I do understand the importance of including them, however, especially in an RP that takes place in Morrowind.

If an RP were, however, to take place on the mainland, The Imperial Library would be an excellent source for maps and other cartography. However, it would still require a lot more imagination than the typical Morrowind RP.

But hey, either way it's fine with me. I'm just gonna sit back and see what unfolds.

TES has all the animals the real world does, AFAIK. Hammerfell even has camels...

Its just that Morrowind and its mainland have more fantastic and exotic flora and fauna...like giant bugs (Shalk, silt striders, etc.) Sea critters, reptiles...

Though, being a cat might limit you, why not be a Khajiit of the breed 'Alfiq'? Alfiq look like House Cats but (susposedly) are great mages, or something. And other Khajiit can probably understand them. But, whatever.

You've obviously never read 'Mixed Unit tatics' volume whatever. It had a Khajiit vs. Bosmer battle. IIRC, the Khajiit won, partially because of the Alfiq.

I really don't care what ends up in the RP, but I have noticed that RPs that somehow involve a 'war of sorts' tend to be more lasting.
