Dalrus, Balmora

"Dalrus! it's great to see you, but what is all this?" a noble of hlaalu said coming up to her

"You mean Stauros isnt here yet?, well this is half of my army from caldera, we're here to gather our forces, and once the draft starts we will attack wherever insaarin says."

"A draft! that hasnt happened for years and years, but i suppose its about time with all those goblins amok" replied harin

"Goblins? what goblins?" dalrus nearly yelled

"Oh you didnt know? about three nights ago a HUGE force of goblins crossed the Odai near rethan manor. Smaller groups since then have been continuously going south, it scares the mrs. have to death so we left the plantation and came here to our winter home" the old woodelf replied matter-of-factly.

"What's going on, first i hear about an attack on New Vivec, then my troops from Gnaar Mok dissapear, now goblins, something's amiss.
Megil Tel-Zeke
Megil

Megil had a throught of what Jonacin would have said when megil had split the blade. the blade was a match to any shehai, doubly more so, sinc eunlike a she hai the spirt blade was formed from both parts of the soul, the good and the evil.

Megil observed the inspections and asked the inspector how bad the damage was.

"Lord Megil the damage to teh upper city was horrbile, but the undercity was nto even scratched. there is little chance that any instability will occur. Repairs should take a month, at full employment."

Megil nodeed,

"Very well thank you, begin clearing the debris."

Megil began to walk back to the Hall of Justice. War was coming, and Megil had to be prepared. Something deep within told him that the silhouette he fought was an ancient and evil race, and more would soon come. He would spend the next hours in meditation, tunning himself with his new sword
Florodine of Hlaalu
The Silhouette

War was right around the corner, all that needed to happen was the invasion of ebonheart, though that was just to get closer to vivec. The Five Silhouettes controlled differant parts of the army, The Silhouette controlled a group called the Moru. They were an elite group of acrobatic, monsters called the Moldair, a lesser type of a silhouette.

"The time has come!" Miran's Voiced rumbled across the evil island.

Then coming up to the Silhouettes, he told them of their goblin army, which was marching towards ebonheart at that exact moment under the control of another Silhouette named Seer.

The rush of orcs and goblins rushing to the boats caused quite a rumble on the island, the Silhouette, and the Moldair then said the water walking spell and rushed off towards ebonheart...

Endris -- New Vivec

Endris emerged from the dust and debris from the fallen canton. People rushed out of the area as guards rushed in. Endris was in awe. How anything could have caused this kinda of destruction to a canton was beyond him. He spotted Megil in the distance walking toward the Hall of Justice.

Endris chased after him and caught up to him before he entered the hall. "Megil. What in the hell happened?" he asked gesturing towards the delapitated district.

Endris did not like Megil anymore than before, but he had spent most of his life in Vivec. He fled when Arcyakt destroyed it and returned and watched over the entire rebuilding process. Endris may not have cared for the leader of the city, but Vivec was his home, and he was willing to defend it.
Megil Tel-Zeke
OOC: you do know ebonheart is under vivec's rule right O.o it's not even a fort anymroe, just a shanty town for migrant worker's.

Megil
Megil hardly got to the HOJ when the scouts began flooding intot eh hall. Endris had just caught up with him,

"If you care for this city then get your weapons and prepare to fight for it, not for me, but for your home. War is at our doorstep."

"Goblins and Orcs have been spotted heading towards Ebonheart." they yelled, tell all who would hear. The ordinators began to congregate into organized formation, and then began to head for the shanty town of Ebonheart. Megil sighed, this day knew no end.
The sirens went off, the cities turned into chaos as pedestrians rushed home. those who could help showed up including legionaire's. Megil knew that the first battle was about to be fought, if he could win it, Vivec could be kept safe. Ebonheart was a critical battle. Megil returned to his manor and quickly donned his sylph armor and helmet. the saphire armor would protect him from most spells and blows.

He walked with the troops, until they neared ebonheart. then the ordinators arranged by task. archers and amges at the back, pikemen at the front, and sword men in between the pikemen adn the ranged fighters. Megil stood ont he front line with his troops. He had the sylphs activate the magic draining barrier in Vivec. all to boost Megil and the ordinators power. The sylphs did not appear, Megil would not reveal them yet. They were a last result. not becuase they were dangerous, but becuase the logner they remained a secret the more confident the enemy could get, meaning that the enemy would be more than likely to make a mistake.

OOC: I know it is, its more of a crossing point into Vivec. This should be an awesome fight, the sylphs/moldair. How many men do you have?

The Silhouette

He knew the scouts would have informed the city of their presence, and so he waited for the ships to land before revealing the moldair.the army attacking was enormous, about half their force was coming. And that wasn't including the goblins coming from the north. Soon the ships came into view of Ebonheart...

"...Uh, I--" Endris studdered. Megil's response was not one he had predicted, "Right. The Tong fights with you. For Vivec," he emphasized.

He returned to the Guildhall and called all of the present members around him.

"Vivec is under attack. Our very way of life is threatened by an unknown force. A war is breaking out, but not between the houses. When a war breaks out between the houses it will be a time for us to celebrate. But instead some unknown force wants Vivec destroyed. This is a bad thing. Megil

Megil looked at the scene in front of him, orcs and goblins fromt he north. ships fromt he south. Luckily the ships wouldn't be a problem. though he would not reveal the sylphs, he would still sue them. He sent a telepathic order to the commander of the sylphs, they were to gash open the bottom of the ships, and kill anything that landed in the water. they were not to maek themselves visible in any way.

The archers knocked their arrows, and the mages got their minds ready. The first battle in 5 years. Megil drew his sword and held it up in the air,

"Malahidrenia" that should let all the soldiers walk on water" he said to a moldair. "Get out of your boats men, come, come,!" the men poored out of the ships and ran infront of the moldair onto shore, a mile north of ebonheart

Megil

Megil brought his sword down, the sky was thick with arrows and fireballs, like a thousand angry bees felling trees. They flew over the ordinaors and into the landing enemy.

Megil looked out to sea, and saw that three boats had been brought down, the inhabitants killed. He had hoped for a bigger imapct from the sylphs, but the enemy seemed to be aware of thhe sylphs and had the men under a water walking spell. more boats were sinking but the coldiers were getting out,

Oh well at least this way they won't have anywhere to flee. and any kills will help us out a bit.

The battle wasnt going so bad, hundreds of goblin archers fired upon the city, and flaming arrows caught many of the shantys aflame (ill bbl, dont fight without me, well you can fight goblins from teh north, but dont destroy them completly, and dont fight my orcs)

Stauros(well Otik to Sel) and Delfran-> in Vivec (the war...)

Stauros heard the rumors of a war, or a battle atleast, and cursed under his breath

I need to get to Balmora, but I can;t just stand there, knowing VIvec is in danger!

HE tapped Sel on the soder, "Just like old times, eh?" He took off in a slightly hurried pace to get Delfran and to report to the front lines and beat back the foe.

Moments later, Delfran and Stauros were running through the city tward the battle

"SO what this all about Stauros?"

"Don't know, but I heard a battle and rumours and I couldn't resist a fight. I cover you and you run in and butcher?"

"thats what we usually do and it works well."

Stauros and Delfran reached the enemy and stopped "Goblins!? What are they doing here?" Delfran asked

stauros replyed "I don't know but they wont get to far"

They then flanked the goblins and started working into the force, tward the front that everyone else was at.

ooc:grr i'm never going to get to Balmora at this rate...

The Silhouette

He told the moldair to hold off until he gave the signal. The Silhouette jumped into battle, and sliced an ordinator half. Another came up behind him, and he flicked his sword backwards, gashing his foes neck. But suddenly a captain lunged at him, he used his left hand and the enem was blown back by a fire blast

Dalrus, Balmora

"Madam Varus, vivec is under attack!" a scout ran up to dalrus

"What! who's strong enough to attack a city of that size?"

"Well its not exactly vivec, its ebonheart, but the "thing" that's leading the attack, destoyed one of the cantons earlier today" the scout yelled

"Well there's nothing we can do, the battle would be over before we got there. Now we just sit and wait for Stauros"

At Sea

En'Fel found a new ship that was coming into Telvanni territory. he took a canoe he found next to the shack and paddle it out with a rope and an anchor. When he got right next to the back of the ship he jammed his anchor in and rode in the wake of the ship.

The ship hit Tel Branora, and with the last of the Telvannics he had he managed to buy a ride to Sadrith Mora. He was back on track.

He killings began just like before. he waited for people to wander off in the Wilderness, merchants, explorers, whatever, and he'd either kill them or capture them to save up for his ritual. Somehow though, he had aged at some point living wit the Necromancers, he needed more now. He needed purpose now that he managed to achiev immortality. Killing wasn't enough, he wanted an impact beyond infamy up being the the Wilderness Psycho. He could do so much now, with all the power he had gained, with the ability to kill so easily.

He could flatten Balmora, that would probably do the trick.

Isaarin
New Vivec

This was just the sort of political act Isaarin needed to make his troop building look legitimate. He quickly ordered his Guards to rush down to the Fort and support the Ordinators. His Guard was small, but as a political display, while many men were gathered close to him, he ordered his own two guards to join the others. He kept the other two in the area to watch him privately.

Val-Jeer Vivec

Val had learned enough, now it was time for action. Below him a massive battle was taking place, the outcome of which seemed uncertain.

The same stench the Silhouette left was emanating from the enemy host.

Val dismissed the lights, and he went plummiting into the enemy forces, blade facing down. The blade peirced a goblin, and the force of Val's collision crushed it.

For a moment, he stood kneeling on the ruined body, eye to eye with another goblin. All around him, fear was in the air. And they should be afraid. A being dressed in white and surrounded by flickering lights had just fallen from the sky... and he looked pissed.

The goblin in front of him stepped back.

"Don't run, s'wit"

Val leaped forward and felled the creature with a single swing.

Stauros and Delfran->In The midst of the battle field

Delfran and Stauros were killing the goblins left and right. At one point Stauros gave up with his bow and pulled out a Dia-katana matching Delfran's and they continued weaving in and out like a sphear of death, cutting through the goblins.

Stauros, Were are they all coming from!? they seem endless!"

"I dont' knwo, but we need to work our way up to the front line, I want to speak to Megil. Ask him what happened earlyer"

"what happened earlier?"

Stauros looked suprised, "nothing, it doesn't matter"
Kell-Reevor
Val-Jeer

There was death all around him, and yet the enemy continued to come... like lambs to a slaughter. Val wasn't fatigued in the slightest, he could continue for days in his new state.

But he didn't. Somehow, he sensed a familiar, evil force. Beyond the head of a goblin he had cut down was the black void that was the Silhouette's cloak.

Him again!

Val cut down another enemy, then charged forward through the mass of combatants, body lurched forward and arms spread behind him. An orc tried to stop him, but he simply jumped and kicked off of his head.

Upon landing, he continued his mad dash.

Undercity

The City is going on lock-down to defend itself right now, you'll be hearing a lot of geers changing to close off the undercity from the invasion. Follow my voice and you'll be out of here before they manage to just off the path-ways to the sewers, the voice informed him.

Wred approached a narrow tavern, as he passed a certain line he heard a strange creaking, not like the rest, this one sounded like he triggered it. He turned around and realized there was a solid wall blocking where he just came from. His eyes widened, and he began to run. Behind him he heard a loud, thunderous bang, but dared not look to see what it was. Rotating movements surrounded him, and he couldn't help wondering what they meant, but soon found out as a spear sprang from behind, barely missing his torso. He stared back, and saw tiny little holes at the end of a wall shooting spears forward. He leapt down to his stomach to dodge the incoming volley, then leapt up again, waited for the sound, and dove down again. He continued following this until he entered a new room. Gates fell down behind him and the spear stopped coming.

Careful was all he got for this one. It looked like a cell, with seemingly no exit besides the gate which remained locked. He saw many hundreds of feet up there was a window, but there was no way he could climb the flat wall to reach it. He tried anyway, but only got a running start before falling. His thud that was made when he hit the ground echoed below him, and suddenly he knew, once again he triggered something.

Waterfalls shot out the window and flooded the room. It poured in faster than it could pour out the gate. Wred swam his best, waiting for it ill all the way up, until he couldn't breath, then he swam with every muscle in his body on over-drive until he managed to force himself through the window and saw a latch above. He swam up to the waterless space above, which was also quickly flooding. After a long breath of air and climbed up and out onto a loft.

You took too long, there is no time to rest, you have about forty-five seconds before you're locked in here, said the voice. Wred's eyes widened, and he began to run once again.

Endris -- Vivec

Endris stood at the edge of New Vivec on top of a guard rail. In front of him was the western coastline and Ebonheart could also be seen in the distance. The once imprial city emited an orange glow on the darkening horizon. Endris was unsure of what to do. His men were assassins, not warriors. They were not meant for the battlefield. He considered taking them to Ebonheart but what would they do once they got there?

At the same time the other side of him hungered for blood. Endris so passionately wanted to once again engage in battle. The feeling of adrenaline flowing over him as he cut through opponents. The need for this feeling overtook him.

He gathered his twenty assassins or so who had chose to join him called out the best two. He also called upon Lyakon, "If you wish to join in the battle, follow me." He ordered the rest of the assassins to stay put in Vivec. Endris began to make his way to Ebonheart along the coastline with his two 'escorts'. (and lyakon if he joins us)

They had managed to make it inside the city while avoiding enemy contact. Endris climbed onto a low roof of a building and managed to overlook the battle.

"Doesn't look like much strategy on the enemy's part. They appear to just be storming the front... Lyakon, you are free to do as you please. Rilamus and Alavesa, stay with me."

Endris continued looking on over the battle scanning for any officer-looking people. Anyone else simply wasn't worth Endris' time.

Lykaon

The golden helmed warrior nodded and leap into battle, his cloak flutting behind him. One goblin looked up in time to see the back-clad cloaked wolf-helmed warrior leaping down on him before Lykaon landed on the goblin with a satisfying crunch. The other Goblins jumped back in surprise but soon attacked, Lykaon spun, the Akaviri Katana ripping through the flesh and the bones of the goblins easily. He continued into the mass of goblins, for all the lack of emotion the helmet displayed, he fought like a demon.

Under City

Left, Right, Left, left, Left, Right, Straight, Straight, Straight, Duck, Wred ducked, and a swinging blade sliced the air above him. The tip of his hair fell back upon his scalp in shreds. He continued running as commanded, his heart pounding, his wet clothing and boots dragging him behind. Eventually he simply tore of his shirt and the bottom of his pants, ripping off his boots, and ran barefoot, nearly naked.

There it was ahead, he recognized the opening with a ladder climbing up into a wide passage way, and water straming down. The opening was closing...

He jetted, trying to move even faster than before, but the light from the outside grew feinter as he went on. Each muscle in his leg pounded against the ground shooting himself forward in long strides. He made it to the ladder and jumped up, slamming his fist for the light, diving through, getting stuck...

Pull back, said the voice, and Wred whipped himself back before being crushed. He was exhausted, he about fell into the river. He was locked in, too.

Don't rest yet, there is still one way out that isn't closed yet, but you'll need your sword, so follow my directions...

Wred began to walk now, tired, sick and hungry. He was absolutely miserable for about ten minutes, back-trotting his way into a locked room.

The guards forgot to lock it, and they're... busy at the moment.

Wred opened it, and there, alone in the room, was his sword. He slowly stepped toward it, as if being reunited with his long lost sister. When he touched it, he felt his power burning back into his veins, and his grip strengthened, pulling it forward, wielding it like the master he was, against cold, hunger and fatigue he was the master with his sword, the sword his father gave him. The sword that always levelled the playing field. He realized he had wrongly named it before. He opened himself up, maybe brought there by the fatigue, or his new guide, or something else, he felt a oneness with his sword, and allowed the energy to flow through him, to name his sword.

Redeemer

Wred opened his eyes, and set out once again, his sword giving him more light. he found himself walking a different direction than before, without the help of the voice, only with his sword, which knew where to go. Every single trap he vanquished, every single maze he followed without concern of getting lost. Every obstacle lay beneath him now. It was as though, in some strange universally divine way, he just levelled. When he came to the exit, he knew it was the Exit. It was a closed wall that seemed to go no where, but he knew the way out. He took his sword forward to illuminate the wall. It instantly ignited as light came forward, and Wred jumped back. He looked around alittle, and realized there was a message, a riddle. Wred said it aloud.

A wall so solid no troll could break it,
A wall so thick now age to crack it
A wall so angry no light can calm it
And yet it's only vulnerable
While flaming and wrathful

Wred thought about it. He touched his sword to it again, and flames danced upon the surface. Vulnerable.... it's vulnerable. Wred touched it again, but kept his sword there when the wall ignited, and he realized his arm was unscorched. He smiled, and walked through the wall. When he passed, it returned to its solid state, undisturbed.

Wred had walked out into an old back aisle in what looked like a library. he wandered forward, and saw it was empty, even closed. He bit his lip and left the library into the crowded streets, soaking wet, barely dressed, with a big, beautiful broadsword.

As Arneth watched Sel, Serene and Otik in the pit he heard rumours about a battle. A army, of neither of the houses had been spotted outside Ebonheart.

"Vivec might not be apart of my home, but its a part of Vvardenfell" Arneth said to himself before taking mental contact with the others.

It's time, a army have been spotted outside Ebonheart. Meet me near Vivec, I wont let these guys fight against the army alone. Arneth said before taking a lost look at Serene and the rest.

Hopefully they will come if aid is needed. He thought before taking on his helmet and rushing out of the Arena and out of Vivec setting route against Ebonheart to meet his men.

Nearing Ebonheart he already saw the army led by Megil. Arneth already thought of a plan, he met his friends not far outside Ebonheart to the east of the battle. They were getting ready.

The melee combatants were having a ahrder time, as the frenzied monsters were insanely poweful and thrashing though soldiers. Still only a few ordinators were dieing, most would dodge the orcs razy moves. ducking beneath their arms only to send a sword through their throats. the pikeman planted teh but of their spears and pikes and impaled the oncoming horde in the chest.

"We will not be attacking Tel Vos for quite some time. You should be leading your mean in the raidings at the Grazelands. Please, pay attention at the Council Meetings next time," Kaushad interrupted from behind. He had grown positively bitter over the last few days, trapped in the cold damp ruins while many of his men were dying in the Grazelands.

"Guerilla Warfare, it's called," Kaushad continued, patronizing Darum out of spite. "Your Predesseor knew what that was. I only wish you were up to par. Tel Vos is only a last resort if our men are organized enough. Sedrane, despite what you may think, Tel Vos is much more fortified than you guessed. Just because your people can wear armor, it does not mean they're ready to attack Tel Vos.

"The Ashlander's fighting ability lies not in being trained in the ways of the Civilized world, something that woman has tainted you with. We Ashlanders have a powerful ability in war because we have spirit, because we have community. Those two things, they lack. We can fight with ferocity, with tactic, no training in the world can beat that. It's too bad that Ahemussa is losing their spirit, turning to witch-craft and ancient sparks. I assure you though, Zainab is not."

Sedrane, Zergonipal

"I resent that speak from you Kaushad!" Sedrane spat, " You know nothing about my warriorīs ability, you know nothing of their dedication, their skills.....we have ancestors, we have spirit, but just because we are not narrowminded to just rely on old warfare just because we want to try something new..something that is not expected from ashlanders, you pick on us..or rather YOU pick on ME!!, Nothing I say or do, do I get approval from you of! NOTHING!!!!....... So you better tell me Kaushad......what have I done to make you do this to me????"

Megil glided above the silhouette,

"Ground bound are you? pity" as he sent a fireball from his left hand.

Val-Jeer Battle

So that's Lord Megil... what is he doing?

Val darted between the two, barely avoiding the fireball. His sword aimed directly at the silhoutte, his eyes to Megil

"Lord Megil... why do you waste your time with this 'puppet'? Don't you have a greater enemy to vanquish?"
Megil Tel-Zeke

Megil glanced at teh white robed argonian, he nodded and then slipped away looking for the pupeteer. Sword at the ready, slipping in and out of trees looking for the leaders of this ramshackle group of creatures.

Val-Jeer

Val grinned with madness.

For his whole life, he held an unnaturally high spiritual awareness... this why why he could cast without incantations and why he had heard the song that night. When he played that song, the song that no living being should hear, he became a conduit for spirits, much as how silver is a conduit of magicka.

But spirits are fickle vengeful things... deep inside Val a battle was being fought far greater than the battle at Ebonheart. The side of pain and vengeance was winning, and it showed. The very flickering lights about Val were getting brighter, a brightness that had an unwholsome feel to it. His eyes were turning black. And worst of all, the very air about him was crackling with negative energy.

Val-Jeer was dying.

The Silhouette

the silhouette dodged the fire ball "please argonian, puppet, though my master is strong even he cannot win in a fight of swords. He would beat any of us in spells though, but not in battle no, he says spells that shape continents, he's already created huge islands to the north with that he flew up into the air, and levitated "ground bound you say?" he said as he launched frost at his opponent "my master never comes to battle, so as you can see i am not the puppet here

Wred Halius
New Vivec

When Wred reached Hlaalu, he was immediataly ordered to join the battle. He quickly ran up to his room and donned some dry clothing and armor, grabbed a simple rejuvination elixer and a loaf of bread, then headed out. No way would he miss this.

Some time over the last half hour his face contorting vial must have worn out. It meant that, seeing as how Megil was one of the only people to see him without his mask (the others were Sylphs) Megil would be looking for the man he saw with that particular face. Wred Halius, however, had no such face. It was all too eloquent. His alibi, even, was told, for now he'd be leading House Hlaalu in the battle of Ebonhart.

"House Hlaalu!" he yelled upon entering the battlefield. He saw most of the Hlaalu men were stranded, being cut down at a fast rate. Something had to change if he didn't want his entire guard to be decimated.

"HOUSE HLAALU!" he yelled again. "Fall under me!" he screamed, and the Hlaalu guard began to run to him. He fought his way through the buildings around Ebonhart, now with twenty men fighting by him. As they continued, they gathered more of the Hlaalu guard to their side, men that were trapped or otherwise.

Now that they were organized, it was time to strike against the opposing force. Wred charged down a deep slope at a small gathering of Goblins and tore them up with his broadsword. His men followed him down, easily cutting up the stragglers who had their energy drained by Wred's enchantment. First Wred would ram himself into the many groups of Orcs of Goblins, and then allow the Hlaalu guard to follow, easily cutting them down with their broken defensive lines and battered shields.

A boat docked behind them, and Goblins begans spilling out of the boat onto the shore, before the boat was sunken by a force from below the Sea. Wred realized his men were being caught off guard, and he shoved himself back through his own forces to meet the Goblins. Before he realized it, he was surrounded by their forces. He felt knife and sword wounds plucking into his legs. With every swipe of his broadsword, he knocked out at least five and killed at least one. It wasn't enough though, his guard had already been cut down to just ten men, and things were looking quite ill for him as well.

(Note: ten men does not mean the entire Hlaalu guard is now only ten men strong, just that when he first entered the battle he could only gather about twenty hlaalu guardsmen, the rest were off in other parts of the port. Also note, Megil should not recognize him, just making sure that is understood.)

"You just don't get it, do you Sedrane? Ahemussa has changed radically since the old days. It used to be that the younger ashlanders respected their elders. It used to be the younger ashlanders took their elder's words as pearls of wisdom. Now I have the two of you disobeying my wishes. You know, not less than two hundred years ago that'd be enough to make me exile the both of you. Times have changed, but you understand, it's not a simple matter of learning new magic, it's that you're forgetting the old ways, you're replacing the old ways. That I will not abide."
Kell-Reevor
Val-Jeer

With the same mad grin, Val braced himself, sword ready for a mighty swing. The ice blast closing in, steaming as it collided with Val's darkening energy. Val swung the weapon. A deafening boom filled the air, along with a blinding flash of light.

The light faded, and there Val stood... two lesser ice blasts split behind him, continuing their course.

The feeling was glorious. The pent up rage, everything he had put away was surfacing. The hatred for everything, the overwhelming desire for vengeance... Vengeance against the living...

His eyes brightened, and he began his charge.

"I ...get what I choose to get!" Sedrane spat, "I respect the elders when they and their opinions deserves to be respected....just stubbornly keeping the old ways because it has always been like that just doesnt exist anymore!, ..Why do you think the Ahemmusa has been weak? I have encoraged my warriors to look forward, to be offensive, see things clearly....see the inevitable changes that come with the new Era! My mother is our Wise Woman....she is in favor of my small changes, she knows that we canīt dwell in the past....nevertheless we respect our ancestors the way we always have done...itīs just that we have decided to try new things..new magic..."

Sedrane was silent for 3 seconds..enough to gain his breath again....

"Serene and Jonacin has been with us....they have taught us wonders, we wouldnīt have been alive if it werenīt for them....Jonacin is the most famous hero in Tamriel...it would be foolish not to listen to him..not to learn from him..."

"Besides..you Kaushad is the Zainab Ashkan.....you have absolutely no powers to expell me or Mabarrabael!....the Ahemmusa is MY domain..."
Intestinal Chaos
Dane (the day before the battle)

Dane had arrived in New Vivec. It hadn't been long and he'd been well rested though his behind was a little sore from the rough carapace of the strider. He immediatly set out to find work. After some time he had located a foreman and without further ado had worked out a deal for himself, 4 hlaalens an hour for helping rebuild the wreckage and there was lot of wreckage to be rebuilt.

"Alright that's enough" the foreman yelled out to the struggling laborers
"That's it for the night, pack up and head on out."

Dane looked up, wiped the sweat from his brow and put down the large rock he was lifting.

I haven't gotten a workout this difficult in weeks

He put his shirt back on and went to the foreman to collect his pay.

"Good job out there, if anything doesn't come up I'd like to see you tomorrow" the foreman said, dropping a bag of hlaalens in Dane's hand.

"If you'll have me" Dane replied a little too emotionless, bone tired from work. Afterwards he marched off to the nearest inn to catch himself a well deserved rest.

Kane Malik (the night before the battle)

Kane had just finished with the corpse of his most recent kill. It didn't matter that it was just a rat it bled all the same. He licked his daggers clean, wiped the blood and intestines off his face and snuck about the undercity a bit more until he found a ladder up. He had been down there for quite a long amount of time and had found almost no victims besides rats and the occasional nix-hound who had somehow wound up in the dank sewer. As he climbed he knew he should look for some work, because where there was work there was killing.

Kane reached the surface, and though expecting to be blinded by light was not, for it was night time. He looked around a bit. It looked mostly deserted accept for the occasionaly ordinator. He smiled and ran off into the night.
