there are definately half-breeds in lore.

Wow do they really lie that much on the TS forums? A lot of people use the claim "the baby takes on the mother's race" and declare there are no halfbreeds.

yes, the baby takes on the mother's race, but can also have a few minor things resembling the father.

IE ; a dunmer / imperial(mother) mix would look mostly imperial, but may have a couple dunmer features, like pointed ears or something.

well it's jsut a lot easier to focus on just one RP with everyone's busy schedules. Sure people could start another one, but the really active members stick to this one O.o dunno. i guess it just works out best this way.

also our RP's are very open ended, lengthy, detaled, and huge. we feel bad about closing the RP to others involvements so we get new people all the time. sometimes they stay sometimes they don't.

As for the summary.... whew lol I'll see what I can pull together. might be able to do something. but currently I'm typing papers, and studying for chem. and i have work 6pm-10pm most days. Sure it's not busy but i'm a college student. nap time takes up a considerable amount of free time. as does social commitments.

EDIT: guess Megil broke the mold. being a halfbreed he resembles his father most. except for in powers he resembles those of his mother. oh well. no complaints from the peanut gallery.

sylphs aren't in the lore either, so I guess you're safe. sylph lore vs TES lore. we'll say that sylph lore wins this battle.

Very true . hmm we just get all screwy with things in this thread. I.E. sentient constructs.

but it's those modification that make the RP so much fun. we allow the freedom of creativity....to a certain extent.

When I read it I was thinking of GREATLY strengthening the Morag Tong in Ald'Ruhn, but instead I'm going to abandone it saying it is to dangerous to keep a branch there. So congrats, Anthanes you have greatly tipped the balance of power in the house wars in favor of Hlaalu and Telvanni because Redoran no longer has their own Morag Tong and therefore caused undue tention between the houses.

seriously, if the time thing matters to you guys, hire a DM. Must be someone that is on the forums a lot and can keep up with everything.

That way, he posts the time of day and weather and stuff, and nothing conflicts.

My opinion, though, is that of "why does it matter?"

under normal circumstance s it matters not. but when you return to a place where not a day has passed. and you've ben gone for weeks. that poses a problem.

i would just like to say that chaos has done an extremely fine job of setting up the rp and working out the story and getting things started and such, but he is not on enough to pose as a DM and control the house leaders if any of us need one of them...
so whomever we 'hire' as a DM imo should also be able to control the house leaders and 'npc's" i am on quite often, but have trouble keeping up with the story, character locations and such. i wouldn't mind posting things like time of day and weather within the rp though.

We have to take Sinnamu home.....that´s the least we can do....it won´t take long..and I´ve already edited....

Of course, these people are disobeying the rules of the divines by plotting murders. So who knows what will happen to them . . . It's more like they've deranged the religion.

Anyway . . .

k, i will take the role of controlling the flow of time within the rp. the flow of time is not set and is influenced by the amount of action going on, the amount of conversation going on, the amount of pending questions/attacks done by characters within the rp etc.

i will also take control of weather, giving the rp a more realsitic feel. seeing as this rp is basically stuck on vvander--whatever (im sick of spelling that name) and since the island is so small when i say 'partly cloudy' it applies to everyone unless i specify a region. dont worry there will be no ashstorms in vivec and very little rain in the ashlands

also i will not be using time like three o'clock, instead it will be things like mid-day, afternoon, midnight, dusk, etc. the same goes for temp, i wont say 98 degrees, i will instead say hot, very cold, comfortable. this will give leeway of the temp. to those in different regions of V.

and i have school and must sleep so i cannot update the weather/time 24 hours a day, but i can almost asure you that there will be at least a few updates a day.

and dantrag, you make me feel ignored... pwease have amili do something

Megil, the reason ashlanders are so far ahead is because 1. people involved in the ashlander subplot are online at the same time more often 2. a lot of it is travel, and travel RP is boring

They take after the mother so they can fit in the womb, but it's like eye color, most of the pgiment in your eye comes from your dominant gene's color, but there tends to be trace amounts from the subordinate gene. If your mom has green eyes and your dad brown, in the case of a half breed in TES you're eys would be like a dark hazel.

Florodine, don't travel so fast, it sort of jumps the game into a paradox. Try and have your character move in the rate at which the other characters do. Yesterday your character was in Neren Ancestral tomb, then he went to Zergonipal, then Urshilaku, and Vivec? Take it slower, describe what he says more, draw it out.

Ok i will, but he never went to vivec, i created a new character today not yesterday, and she lives just north of vivec, and i started the rp there, my two characters (darum chief of erebeninsum) (dalrus councilor of hlaalu) dont have anything to do with eachother

my mistake, i live on the east coast of the US and for me i created my character at 6:30 instead of twelve so i guess it was yesterday

No but the idea still stands that darum feels like the road runner with how quickly you making him move.

ok, i have decided that the time paradox is basically esential to this rp. seeing as that so many groups are in so many different places, time would have to move differently in order to avoid things such as what has come to be called 'travel rp' so i actually think my little job is void, and the time paradox happened in AMU a bit and it all worked out well so i think there is no need for a time keeper.

i will happily control the weather though.

I'm not saying all your lives are not diffucult, I just entered 8th grade and well, skipping two math years and being in advanced language arts & Spanish II doesn't help, I get at least 4 hours of homework, but I also had some tests this week which took awhile. I'm sorry but I don't know about any of you working, in which probably harder then me, but I don't know what working is like (aka getting paid for it). I'll try to catch up this weekend, but my one neighbor's grandmother (last of his parents and he's only 40) died and I knew her very well, so I'm very upset and not very focused. It doesn't help that she was found dead in her bed by the boy next door who feeds her cats,

Anyway I'm not asking megil to work for my laziness, just tell me if I have to read every single discussion and playground and I'll do it.. hopefully....

ashkhans from the 4 tribes met in urshilaku and agreed to go to war with zainab, jonacin promised redoran help, akar met his mommy, serene met her son, wred and kiln fought each other, anthanes killed eno, endris was promoted the guildmaster of the morag tong, endris doesn't trust vaska, amali started an assassin job against megil but one of his agesnts that listened in informed him about it, konrad and kyara are shooting a porno, gamer was thrown off new vivec and ended up in morvayn manor to walk in on the porno, that's all I know.
