Endris stared into Amili's eyes and the party got suddenly quiet. Endris said in a low voice, "Eno is dead, and you will be too if you don't let go of me." Endris turned to Vaska, "And you can either shutup or die. I'm the leader now whether you like it or not."

Amili

Amili would have laughed out loud, were it not for the fact that this self-titled grandmaster annoyed her rather than amused her.

"Try to kill me, and see if you have any flesh that isn't charred black." she said, not out of any arrogance, but mere fact.

"I take it you have all of Eno's records? Because the assassination order from House Telvanni has been ignored for some time." she said, sublimating her disgust for this drunken idiot of a grandmaster and getting to the point.

"Eno was dead before the battlemage could find out methinks. Maybe not, the hearing is bad in the Guildmaster's chamber. Some I hear, some I don't. Anyway, time for the finale of information sir. Best in a month. Yes, you will triple Tall Tongue's pay for this one! Yes you will! New Hlaalu leader, the crazy one that wants to a Divine, yes him. He wants to do something big, yes. Hlaalu is easy to hear, they are. Loud mouthed and greedy, money talks you know? They are money, they are loud. The crazy one won't last long at the top, he wants to be big. he wants to own Vvardenfell he does. No one likes him in the Council but he will get it done if no one stops him. He will attack Vivec methinks. Not now, but don't trust that one, no, he will do something big and crazy, he will.

"Anyway, big news is happening right now. Yes, big big news. Yes, Telvanni lady arrived today, the famous one. She didn't look happy. Yes, she never looks happy. Yes, Tall Tongue will spy on her now. Yes, till next time."

Tall Tongue smiled and bowed, then turned to leave. He would have go fast if he was to catch any news on the Telvanni Lady.

Amili, Morag Tong Guildhall

Amili smiled as Endris said her title. It was always good to be known.

"Megil Tel'Zeke." she answered. "Eno wouldn't have written it down if he had any kind of intelligence." she added.

We will soon find out. she thought.

Tall Tongue
New Vivec

Tall Tongue leaped right into the sewer and took his short cut to the under-city. He asked his first agent friend if he knew where the telvanni lady wnet. The Morag Tong, he was told. She went to the Morag Tong. They were difficult to hear, but he would manage. Whenever she came, the news was juicy, he couldn't resist it.

It was sort of funny. Megil bought out all the thieves in New Vivec and turned them into his agents, keeping tabs on the city, making it controlled. Megil liked control, he had ears every where. Crime dropped, because those with a talent for sneaking like Tall Tongue found plenty of money to use their abilities constructively.

Tall Tongue crawled like a rat through a tiny opening into one of the main networks in the Under City. It was a complicated labrynth, no one knew every in and out, except Megil. Megil liked knowing things. Megil rewarded people who helped him know things, people like Tall Tongue.

There it was, the tunnel that went directly under the Morag Tong guildhall. His juiciest spot. Endris would not be agreeable with Megil, there would be plenty of news. It was too bad Otik was an agent. Otik would surely bring the news faster than Tall Tongue could.
ShogunSniper
Endris' jaw dropped, "Y-your joking right? I was never aware that there was a job out for him. Why do the Telvanni want him dead? I mean doing something like that would be almost impossible." he said as he closed the book.

OOC: it doesnt hurt anything....
Dantrag
"Telvanni business is not your own." Amili answered coldly. "The assassination is your business, the motives are not. The agreed price was ten thousand gems, I will double that, if you will actually do it this time."

Amili was glad, at least, that Eno had indeed left it unwritten; and therefore harder to trace.

She had her own reservations on even speaking of the job, for there were many defenses and other various magical auras about New Vivec. Who was to say that nobody was listening in on this conversation?

It had to be spoken of though, if it was to ever be done.
ShogunSniper
"Well taking down Megil himself is going to be a massive operation. More than just one person, or even twenty could do. And twenty thousand gems is not that much for Megil Tel'Zeke. Are you perhaps here to help us with taking down Megil? Or are you just the Telvanni's messenger girl?" Endris said. He thought to himself, trying to come up with the basis of a plan. This was not going to be an overnight assassination. Then Endris realized, "We should not be even speaking this, if you have anything else to say, Pyromancer, then write it," he slid her a parchment and quill pen.

Under Morag Tong guild hall

Twenty thousand gems, he heard. He heard twenty thousand gems for a kill. Someone seemed surprised, he couldn't tell who. It was a difficult voice to understand.

Come on, mention the name, who does Telvanni want dead?

Still no name, he was afraid they were too smart for him. That was, until the new Guildmaster spoke. The arrogant fool said the name.

Thank you! Thank you! Tall Tongue exclaimed. Megil Tel'Zeke was who she wanted dead. Telvanni, they were being bad these days. They were going to kill his employer. This was big news. Too bad he wouldn't get to hear another thing. Eno, the previous guildmaster, always wrote down the assassination attempts. The new ones though, the new assassins in the guild, they always gave the juicy info. They learn fast though.
Soulseeker3.0
does that mean I must wright too? by the way, I am quite rish so im just thowing that on the talbe as well." He pulled out a peice of parchment himself and strted writting

Taking down Megii will be a long and tiring mission, we would basically beseige the place, and kill everyone in the house, around the house and everyone that saw us or heard the screams, that could very well amass 30 to 40 people easy, probeble more. and from what I know about megil he is bound to have more the ordinateurs guarding his place, he probebly has magic traps galore. It would take an army of assasins to do this in one night, which it would have to be done in one night or else Megil could be escape the next day when he finds the doies of his guards and mabey an assasin.

Vaksa seceretly pulled out a smaller peice of paper and wrote

You still didn't answer me on the drink offer
-Vaska

and slipped in into the Televanni's hand and then sat down and waited for the two to read and dygest what he wrote.

(I dought doomed can do anything to effect us)
Dantrag
Amili turned the parchment over and began writing on the back.

Fine, forty thousand, and I will suddenly become more than this 'messenger girl' you so arrogantly and stupidly call me. She stoped writing for a second and glared at Endris.

I will accompany whatever assassins you choose to deal with any sort of magical hinderance. However, If I deal the killing blow to Megil, your guild will recieve no payment.

PS - I chose to ignore your offer for a reason, Vaska. Don't give me another.
She wrote on the 'public' piece of paper.
ShogunSniper
Endris smiled when Amili glared at him, and wrote: Your offer is accepted, Pyromancer, but "Wait," Endris drew his katana and swung it Vaska's throat, stopping it right before it connected, "You're Megil's friend are you not? And yet you are helping us kill him? Unlikely," other assassins followed their leader's example and drew their swords just to be ready for anything.

New Vivec

No more info for Tall Tongue, but he had to beat Otik to the pitch so he could make good money. He took off sprinting along the tunel and dove down along a passage-way into the main tunnel, then crawled back through his short cut and emerged through a sewer right infront of Megil's manor.

"Hee hee hee, big news big pay, big news big pay!" he expclaimed and entered the manor.

I have two Identities, one is the Hlaalu nobel and another is the assasin, thats why you saw me in Megil's office!"

Vaska was panting by now and was tempted to just leave but he needed more info, like when and how the Tong was going to strike, no matter how much he liked the money, He could never kill Megil, granted he was crazy once. he turned to the televanni women, opened his mouth and thought it was best it he shut it again. He turned back to Endris and said, "If you EVER falsely accuse me like that, I will kill you and then I will become the head of this place and bring it back to its rightful satus"

ooc yes toutching isn't it?

Amili, same place

Amili looked at the scene, interested more than scared. She knew that Megil would recieve the information soon, whether or not he actually was a traitor. She had decided to only deal with Endris now.

If he was a traitor though, it gave her the added bonus of a funeral pyre.

"Endris, I would like a word with you. Alone."

Amili, Endris' quarters

"Shh!" she ordered, pulling out the same piece of paper they had been writing on earlier.

Let this 'Vaska' live for now, but keep an eye on him, and do not let him in on any of the plans against Megil, instead, 'let' him get false information to give to his friend.

We delay the assassination for awhile, until the worry dies down.

She waited until Endris read the parchment before burning it.

"Farewell, Grandmaster." she said cordially. "Until next time."

She walked out the door and back to her quarters.

Falx Albarnias
New Vivec

The mirror, although old, still had the shine of wonderful ages. When travelling back around the world, Falx managed to find his old home and the mirror amongst it. The home that he shared with his parents during his childhood. Minor nobles they might of been, but caring loving parents they still were. While he doubted they still lived, many a rumour placed them in Summerset Isles.

Falx brushed off his formal wear, it hadn't been used since before Cyrodill had fallen, another relic of the past. The silver lorica(SP) was made of banded strips of silver to make a hard, medium strength armor. The rest of the outfit was a similiar fashion.

One main difference though was they scarf/undershit that officers in the legion wore. Normally they were a brilliant red, to signify the beauty and feroucity(SP) of the human empire. Times have changed though, and with that the new signifying colour of the legion.

Falx, in his spare time, had started fashioning a new scarf, one that signify'd purity and valour above else. The look was amazing, but the message was very pleasing. "A new legion, for a new time.." He managed to mutter before strapping on his customary silver short sword and stepping out of the door.

Hall of Justice

He shuffled nervously as he waited in the sitting room for Lord Megil's office, casual glances by common folk and guards were starting to turn into un-excepting stares and murmors. After all, these same people had fought the legion out of Vvardenfell. Reguardless, Falx took comfort in the fact that New Vivec was neutral territory, and as being neutral no harm could come to him.

Falx turned to the guard, who had previously ignored him and cleared his throat, "Excuse me, but please do tell Lord Megil that Captain Falx Albarnias of the Imperial Legion is here to see him." With emphasis on Imperial Legion.

Raxle O'Conner
West of Gnisis

"Damn, so who'd we loose again?" Raxle asked, sitting on a rather large stone still panting from the sprint.

"Four altogether.. Darius died in the guard house, WhiteBeard tripped over a stone as we were escaping, the new recruit was painted over somehow, and the last was First Seargent Patronia." Alicia replied, she was the favourite soldier of the group. Not only because she was the only female, but she was also the only healer, "Raxle, I don't know if this was such a smart idea.." She placed her hand on Raxle's, "I mean, there so few of us.. What did we accomplish?"

Raxle stood up, brushing her hand off his, "What do you mean? We accomplished.. Uh.. " His mind drew a blank, the idea of whatever their goal was faded, "Well we did it to show that were still here. You know? And please.. don't touch me.." Raxle turned away.

Many months ago, before the out break of aggressions between the inhabitants of Vvardenfell and the Legion, Raxle considered Alicia more then a friend. After all, Alicia was there for him when the compassion it the guar, she was his council in times of despair, she talked to him about his past and how to control the future. He once loved her. But the feeling was one sided, Alicia was just being a friend, and Raxle took it to far.

"But.. so many deaths for really no reason. How can we justify that? We are the protector of these people!" Alicia retorted, her face flaring up a'bit. Partly because of Raxle's actions and then his words. "I just don't understand you! Why are you so distant at times? You're not the person you once were."

"Those time have ended Alicia, don't you see! The whole of Nirn has turned agaisnt us, THEY HATE US!" Raxle shocked himself with his own words, "Look! Listen! They, the people we are to protect would rather see us lying six feet under as a rotting corpse!"

"But.." She sniffled a bit as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"No buts, the only thing that will help us survive this mess is our anger towards these.. Beasts, these Dunmer!" His fists were cramping into the balls he forced them into, "Why am I the only one that see's this!? Damn it all, Damn it all to oblivion!" Raxle cursed some more as he stormed out of the makeshift dine hall.

Alicia sat in the seat and rested her head on the table, crying softly, "Raxle, come back to who you were, back long ago.. please"

Even if he had heard her plea, never would he had listen. The enemy was outside, and he was hell bound and determined to not grow soft.

It seemed odd to Falx that Megil would be so excepting to his former adversary.

He leaned forward abit, "Megil, we've had our differences, you and I know. But considering the sake of the new times, and the fact that my home also resdies in our great city, there are important matter to discuss."

Falx cleared his throat, he was getting old after all, "Maybe you've heard, or maybe not, reguardless, the attack on Gnisis? It is under my suspicion that Imperial Soldiers were the instigators of that attack." The legionarre shuffled through several papers and handed one to Megil, "This here I came across several days back, it is a note from former First Seargent of the Gnisis garrison. You can read it later if you must, but in short summary it is a warning, a warning to all houses, including New Vivec. Now while the legion is weak, and New Vivec is neutral, there are many a problem with this scenario."

Falx stood up and paced around the chair for a second,

"From my gathered sources, I have estimated that there are roughly over one thousand legionarres scattered around the island. Many of those are officers, officers that are growing to complacint (SP) with current society and joining the ranks of the Houses." Falx looked at Megil straight in the eyes, "You do know that many people are already fighting a war for power here in Vivec? I'm sure you do, but think about this, once these officers finally except a new life, they are going to become YOUR enemy. Every single house, even the honourable Redoran wants to control Vivec. It is the ultimate place of power, enough to subdue the other houses even!"

"Now I my be rambaling, and sound incoherent, but give me a chance, under the protection of Neutral New Vivec Authority, to re-establish open communications with the scattered legion and bring them under one banner, as to not let them go stray!"

Falx rubbed his graying chin, "You may think that we (the legion) are not quite the power to contend with the rest, but look at history, me and my brethren have subdued quiet alot in history. More then I'd like to admit sometimes."

The captain started to walked towards the door, "Please, think about my plea, you are a wise mer, know what these capable soldier could do for Vivecs interests! Ha, remeber, the God's favour the bold"

At that Falx stepped out of Megil's office and returned to the Inn.

En'Fel
Urshilaku Camp

Akar, Akar was alive. That was fortunate, extremely fortunate he could show to Serene he could deliver result and not just blow steam. Akar's arrival would increase Serene's trust in En'Fel and stready the connections between Redoran and the Ashlanders.

"I'm sorry this is a private meet--" Sul Matuul began.

"Don't worry, he's a friend of mine. He saw first hand the sort of respect the Ashlanders are getting in the East," said En'Fel. It was only a little unfortunate that Akar decided to interrupt the meeting this way. He needed to swing the Ashlanders who had not yet experienced the war to go into it. That task was difficult enough without a long lost son and mother reuniting between in.

Speaking of which, En'Fel could not help but show interest in a peculiar look he saw from Serene. She knew his face, it was almost uncanny the circumstances at which Akar arrived. He didn't look at anybody, he just sat right down.

"Now, if no one has something to say, I'd like to suggest a course of action and see what Ahemussa and Urshilaku will be willing to contribute--" En'Fel attempted to continue.

"I'd like to say something," said Sul Matuul.

He looked around the room, which fell silent. "I understand your people are being harassed, but I wonder what proof you have this is the forshadowing of a greater catastrophe. If there is no evidence that it will escalate beyond the Telvanni taking land, I think we can avoid the war and simply evacuate Erabeninsum and Zainab some place safe."

En'Fel didn't know how to respond to that. How do you give evidence for a gut feeling? he wondered. He looked to Nibani Maeso and Serene for support.
Dantrag
Akar, Urshilaku Camp

"Submit to people like the Telvanni, and they feel the need to show their dominance over you even more. They think themselves better than you, and they are right if you prove them right by giving them what they want."

Almost like how everyone thinks that they are better than a half-breed. he thought sourly, but kept to himself.

Just then, it seemed, he saw her. Those eyes. They were his own, just on someone else.

The reunion would have to wait until the meeting was over though; lives were at stake here. Besides, he had waited twenty-two years, what was another hour?
minque
Nibani Maesa and Serene, Urshilaki camp, meeting

Nibani Maesa held up her left hand, in a gesture of silence, as always a wise woman had the powers of silencing the most talkative men...

"May I speak Ashkan Sul-Matuul?", she said in a most convincing voice, and as the Urshilaki ashkan nodded she continued:

"I have consulted the Ancestors, with the generous aid of Mistress Serene, who represent the Ahemmussa wise woman Sinnamu Mirpal, and together we have come to a conclusion, to a recommendation"

"We have no powers of deciding what actions should be taken, the Ashkans have the final words in these matters," she continued again, " But only the wise ashkans take advice from the wise women, because they have the ability of seeing beyond the horizon, and their predictions are almost always correct"

Now Serene rose to her feet, slightly shivering, due to the presence of the half-breed sitting beside Sul Matuul, it was obvious that he was Saryn, the son she had to give up so many years ago.

The present situation didnīt allow her to rush to his side embracing him telling him how much she had longed to meet him, that all had to wait......She merely looked at him, taking a deep breath she filled in where Nibani had stopped:

"We have taken counsel from the ancestors of all ashlander tribes, in addition to that we have interpreted the various signs and strange events during the last months and we are in consensus.....there is NO doubt there will be war among tghe Houses.......and thus also our people will be deeply involved, there is no doubt of that whatsoever. ..."

"That man!" she said pointing at En`fel...is telling the truth, his clairvoyance has shown him what most probably will happen, and his idea of uniting the Tribes is approved of by our Ancestors"

"We must stand united now, our greatest enemy will be the great house Telvanni, they are already on our tracks, the Greed of house Hlaalu is the next threat....that leaves only one thing.......We will seek support from House Redoran, which we think is quite possible"

Serene bowed her head to the ashkans and sat down....

"Hope Saryn will approve of me "

Ald'Ruhn

Arneth said to Kiln after they came by Silt Strider into Ald'Ruhn they could meet at the Rat in the Pot by the end of the day. Arneth was interested in Kiln but he needed to make his way to his headquarters, important information had arrived. He moved as the shadows out of Ald'Ruhn, he had noticed that little amount of people that had just arrived. There was something shaping here, but Arneth left it out but he kept his eyes open as he got out of Ald'Ruhn and up to the unkown cave near Khuul.

"Whats the news Malgurion?" Arneth said once he came him with a high voice before he walked up to the planning table with already many of his friends around it. Looked like something was happening.

"Much have happend over little time Master Arneth, the situation in Gnisis took a turn and the attackers on the city retreated and is located west for the city as we speak" Malgurion paused, "There is also a gathering, of some sort in the Urshilaku Camp. Tribes men have gone into one of the hut's and is clearly discussion something, the power of the Ashlander tribes has almost faded away and the Telvanni is pushing them hard from the east. But we dont have any knowledge what they are dicussing" Malgurion said as he sat his dagger into the map at the Urshilaku location.

"Have any of our scouts any idea of who is in the Urshilaku camp? Because this is not enough, there are things happening in New Vivec too" Arneth said, he had already heard from some legionares that heard something about the Morag Tong, a new Grandmaster. And he remembered the situation at Morvayn Manor with his friends Serene and Jonacin...

"Our scouts got a glimt of what he mean was Jonacin not far outside the Urshilaku camp along with Serene..." Malgurion said unsure of the scouts eyes had played tricks on him, or if Serene and Jonacin really was there.

Arneth didn't doubt the scout, thought he wasn't much of a real friend with Serene and Jonacin he remembered she had close relations with the Ashlanders and it was clearly possible for her and Jonacin to be there.

"This is what we do, Malgurion you along with some of our scouts and troops go to Gnisis. Stay hidden and try to gather what information you can about this siege on the village! I want to set up scouts around the Telvanni and Ashlander border in the Grazelands, they will need to able to get information back here fast and un-noticed as soon as anything accures" Arneth said demanding, pointing out positions for the scouts around in the Grazelands.

He left the table right after it was done, he ran fast down deep into the cave through the rough and small caves he found his little champer. He soon found his backpack with his enchanted Ebony armor. He took on the backpack before grabbing some of his pouches attaching them to his belt, they were full of all kinds of potions along with scrolls. He also found a thick gold ring he had gotten in his early warrior ages as he where in the Warriors Trials in Vivec. Powerful enchanted the ring was, he took it on before he ran and out of cave.

"I'll look into the Ashlanders!" he said at the door before he slammed the door and started running against the ashlander camp.

What are you doing in the Urshilaku camp Serene and Jonacin? He thought as he was running as fast as he could.
Megil Tel-Zeke
Hall of Justice, New Vivec

Megil listened to Falx's story. He then thought it over for several hours, unable to decide what to do.

I don't mind refugees, but a legal faction setup for the legion might e to risky. sure they will be thankful at first but they will then turn to control. They might try and take New Vivec at a later day. But by denying them that right they will consider New Vivec and enemy, and once they have all gathered they will then launch an attack against the city.

This is a tight situation. Already the Telvanni want me dead. by allowing th Legion to be resurrected in the city I am sure to gain the scorn of the other houses. Very tricky indeed. But I could also allow the Legion in on the condition that should insurrection occur they are to defend the City of New Vivec against any house or faction.

Such arguments passed through Megil's mind. he scribbled plans on parchment and tried to predict what would happen in each circumstance. In the end it was a lose-lose situation. and 1,000 men was not that much compared to the population of Vivec, it could help to an extent. There was also another option.

Having decided Megil began writing an official letter to the Legion.

Dear Falx and Legionnaires,

It has come to my attention that stranded legion soldiers throughout Vvardenfell have been sunned and abused over the past years. Due to this anger has rise in the refugees who intend to unite once more and have their revenge on vvardenfell. I can understand the hatred, but am willing to try and help those who choose.

I have given Captain Falx Albarnias the power to gather as many legion members as possible and bring them into the neutral City of New Vivec, where they will be given housing, jobs, and freedom of persecution. I do this knowing that in doing so I endanger this city of hatred from the other factions. I hope you realize the sacrifice this requires on my part and that if the time comes you will stand to protect the city.

A third option remains, the city of New Vivec being neutral has some leeway with the empire. should all who desire to leave Vvardenfell I shall arrange for transportation with the empire to take you back to the mainland. This option will be of no cost to those who wish to leave. To those who remain I grant a 2 week period after the arrival in Vivec in which septims will be taken at original value and exchanged for another currency of the soldier's choice.

Best wishes, in the name of the neutral city of New Vivec.

Sul Matuul looked around the room awkwardly. "Redoran..." he began, "Redoran is not always as honorable as the facade they wear, but I believe you, if you say we can trust them, then we shall trust them."

"No one is above dirty tricks," said En'Fel

"No, but... well, if Sedrane Mirpal of Ahemussa approves it, then we will decide what are next... united move will be," said Sul Matuul, and he turned his head to Sedrane, as did En'Fel.

Sedrane Mirpal, Urshilaki meeting

Sedrane rose to his feet, turned to Sul-Matuul and spoke:

"Twenty years ago, a young cyrodiilic girl came to the Ahemmussa, battered and bruised for refuge. She was taken care of by my mother Sinnamu Mirpal and made a member of my family as well as the tribe. She became an apprentice to my mother and learned all to be a wise woman. " Sedrane paused...and turned to Serene, with a warm look.

"She was always there for me, a seven year old cocky boy who always got in trouble, more than once she saved my life...if she says we ought to unite then may it be so.....if she trusts you EnīFel, then I do, if she says the Redorans will support us then I believe her"

Sedrane took Sereneīs hand and kissed it..

"I personally have one condition though," he continued, " All ashlanders must do their utmost to protect her, no man is allowed to hurt her in any way! Or he will answer to me, personally"

While saying this he looked sternly at Akar; then he rose his hands to the sky saying:

"The Ahemmussa will unite with the Urshilaki, the Zainab and the Erabenimsun to fight all enemies and recover the land that was given to us by our ancestors!"

At Sedrane's comment, Jonacin stood. "Excuse me Sedrane, but i believe it is me who they'll answer to, as she is my wife"

Sedrane Urshilaki

" Of course, you are the great Hero of Vvardenfell, the slayer of Arcyakt, also the beloved husband of my heartfriend Serene, naturally any threatening person will be answering to you." Sedrane said

"I am truly honoured to meet you...." he added bowing his head in respect

Serene, Urshilaki

"I am very happy that this union of Tribes will be" Serene said, " Now our mission will be to gather the Redoran forces," she said lookin at her husband with love

Then she turned to Akar; tears in her eyes

"Can I please talk to you?"

"Don't do that Sedrane, I was overconfident in my abilities and it nearly got me killed" Jonacin said, slightly irritated.

Anthanes- Ald'ruhn

Anthanes awoke rested and refreshed. After a small breakfast, the half-dunmer walked the streets of Ald'ruhn, aware of the prying eyes he recieved. His gaze dropped on a Dunmer and a young Imperial entering town, both looking like fighter-types. A rare combination in these days... Anthanes continued to follow them with his eyes.
