No riff raff in Riften - the capital of riff raffiness! Don't they even call the city's nether regions the Raffway?

I'm beginning to wonder about Sheshko's stealing from prison guards. He seems too clever not to anticipate the consequences. . . and he doesn't really seem like a masochist. I'm thinking he perhaps has a variety of keptomanic compulsive behavior.

I knew I'd read it somewhere, and it turned out to be the wiki:
"When you come to Riften for the first time, the guards will tell you to head to the north gate, where you need to pay a tax before entering the city. You can choose to pay the tax (the amount depends on the level of your character), or try to persuade or intimidate the guards, convincing them to open the door for free. Another option is to commit a crime and be arrested. You will be taken to the city's jail inside the walls, and released outside the jail, or you can escape. Or you can enter from the Black-Briar Meadery's back door (near the western gate), or through the sewer grate next to the docks that leads into the jail. Alternately, with a good enough pickpocket level, one can steal the key off of the guard demanding pay."

Cat Man Dhou found out about the jail method, and he wasn't trying to get in.

@Acadian - he is indeed kleptomanic. He doesn't carry what he steals as long as he steals. He's usually not after gold either, because it's the easiest to take and doesn't prove much challenge.

@ghastley - I expected that Sheshko will perhaps be placed outside Riften as he'd be released but fortunately that's not the case. Now that he's in, he doesn't intend to leave soon.

I enjoyed that Ft Frostmouth quest. Part of the reason I think is that Buffy took a liking to that noble Redoran Guard Captain. . . until she figured out he had a girlfriend. *sigh*

I was wondering what that was in the distance. Now I remember Forrah went to Solstheim.

@SubRosa - Mjoll's armor is called Runic Spellbinder Armor and is added by Immersive Armors.

Forrah's already used to bring foes down on her own. Mjoll (and according to my experience, the same goes fro most Skyrim followers) fall to their knees very quickly, leaving our PC on its own way too often. Despite I boosted Mjoll's stats with the console, they automatically reset when she was on her knees for the first time.

@Acadian - Buffy & Forrah have the same taste in men it seems because Forrah also liked/s the Redoran Captain. I found a mod that allows you to consolize anyone and make them either friends or spouses, so who knows what awaits Forrah in the future...

@Renee - that is Red Mountain, the most prominent feature of Vvardenfell and one of the most important places in the game of Morrowind.

Solving a mystery and helping the town of Raven Rock! Woot! So glad she got that manor. And glad to hear how much she likes it there.

I see she re-decorated it, too. Is that a published mod, or your own collection of resources?

Do you have an older game version? I know in the early versions of the game a follower's stats were locked at the point where you first met them, and they never leveled up afterward. They were supposed to have fixed it in one of the patches however. I think there was also a trick using the Wabbajack on them that forced the game to recalculate their stats.

But even if you have the latest game version, some npcs are set with either a static level, or to never level beyond a certain point. I suggest using the Creation Kit to make sure she levels with you, and set her level cap to something like 100.

@Acadian - Forrah really likes it on Solstheim. I think she'll stay there indefinitely, sort of like mirocu's character Karl that's the permanent resident of Solstheim.

@ghastley - I use a mod Nicer Severin Manor?.

@SubRosa - I use the legendary edition.

Forrah first spied on Severins, then she was asked to deal with them. She was hoping that bloodshed could be avoided but they jumped on her as soon as she entered the manor. Now she's the new owner of the manor which is enhanced by the above-mentioned mod.

No official story this time, sorry. Sheshko enjoyed a few hours of freedom before being thrown back to jail after a failed attempt to pickpocket a guard.

First he went jumping on the narrow fence on the bridge until he fell down and basked himself in aromatic water of the Riften canal. Then he visited the Beggar's row and immediately liked the place, he might stay there in the future. In the afternoon he went to the market and did random nonsense like jumping and hitting signs, jumping on people and on buildings, overturning things etc...then he wanted a guard's shield but he was noticed.

Well that's a story.

There's a new cat in town, and it looks like he's found the right place.

Wow, Sheshko's learning some new skills! Clearly his skill with destruction now allows flaming farts and his acrobatics is really on display here. Best of all, it looks like he didn't get beaten up (again) by a guard!

This is hilarious. I love when we bump into stuff or knock stuff over and the NPCs say "BE CAREFUL!" or "WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!"

This is a bit of non-roleplaying for me, but almost all my characters walk over that small table in the middle of Belethor's shop...the one which has a few items on it. I make them do this just to hear Belethor (or his imbecilic shop-helper) say "WHAT ARE YOU DOING THAT FOR????" ... this makes up for all those times that he 'joked' about "selling our sister in a second," or whatever.

@SubRosa - Brynjolf must have been going mad, he was desperately trying to reach Sheshko and kept walking in circles around the well.

@Acadian - indeed, this time he didn't get beaten, he peacefully surrendered after being caught with his claws in the guard's pocket.

@Renee - everyone was shouting at Sheshko as he was making a mess in the market. But while stealing a broom can be considered a crime, making ruckus in the market obviously isn't.

@SubRosa - interesting enough, the Black-Briar's cell gate couldn't be lockpicked, in fact interacting with it wasn't possible to all.

@Acadian - Sheshko will remember his kitty-licks next time he's about to flirt.

Urp. Blood on the snow. And lots of it. That last shot - the classic 'Lopov' one - really showcases how well he came out. His face and especially that red scarf really look like the same scary dude we loved to hate in the Wastelands.

How did that one prisoner get such a luxurious cell though? It's like on Earth when high-level criminals (politicians and such) get put into 'country club' prisons instead of general population.

@Acadian - thank you! It took a while to get his face "right". As Renee said, in the Capital Wasteland the most distinctive thing on him was his grin, while in Skyrim it seems to be his eyes.

@Renee - that prisoner is some relative of Maven Black-Briar, convicted for murder, I think. No doubt Maven arranged for his luxurious cell.

He used to be an adventurer till he took an arrow in the knee. Then he became a guard till he took an arrow in the heart. Nice shots of Rattler's deadly missile in flight. I bet Rattler will set a whole new standard for depravity down in the Ratway. In fact I can imagine it becoming known as the Rattlerway.

@Renee - there's a perk in the Sneak skill tree which always you to perform a forward roll if you push the sprint button while you're sneaking.

@SubRosa - the girls are added by Inconsequential NPCs mod and work as whores. I think the mod author intentionally chose sad expressions for their faces because when talked to, their responses match their faces.

She is quite the tour de vampiric force. Ice, reanimation, and Fwoon!

Cool action shots, Renee *groan*. That Pinoculotusie armor the Emperor's boys wear is really neat looking. I'm guessing this is DB stuff that your ice witch is doing.

Yeah, she is a badass, and is even badder than ever!

Acadian: yes that is Dark Brotherhood stuff going on, but I played around with the order of how things work, so that Mycharonna comes back from the (un)dead. When I moved her game from Xbox to PC, she is supposed to have been killed by Titus Mede II, and in the process of this she gained all sorts of cool powers that aren't possible on Xbox. For instance, undead and some conjurers now see her as an ally. A lot of animals no longer attack her. Unenchanted weapons don't harm her nearly as much, etc.

And then I also added a really well-done mod called Better Vampires. All sorts of neat features in that one. Sun damage, the ability to have Dawnguard in her game, yet she still gets hated when she gets to Stage 4 (the most powerful stage of vampirism). A bunch of neat spells, like "Invoke Fog" and 'Call Creature'. Etc. Etc...

Bzzt! (....note, Calcelmo's Dwemer Museum has this weird mechanical spider which will become the best friend of whoever activates it. So Bjorn is standing in the background, while one of the museum's soldiers deals with that spider!

This part of the quest was interesting because since Bjorn was dressed like a guard, most of the other guards in the museum didn't bug him (thanks to me putting him into some guard factions).

Bjorn is disguising himself as a guard now? Is he somehow related to the Wheet Bandit!

Ha ha ha yeah, it is the same idea. Except Bjorn actually gets away with stuff, whereas Kahreem always gets caught.
