Stauros and Delfran (arn't dead yet i'm sorry )->Balmora

Stauros stepped off the siltstrider and walked down the ramp. The two were greated by a swarm of people and they made their way to Stauros' manor. Stauros made his way to his room and fell onto the bed.

He heard the door open, "Wow, it's good to be home."

"yes it is." Delfran set a bag down on the dresser and turned to Stauros, "So when do we leave for Suran? Whens the fort to be done?"

Stauros sat up and shrugged, "Beats me, but i'm sure we'll get a message when its done. but on to buissness, i'm going to tour the Fort here and see how its moving along. You should come and test some of the men."

Delfran smiled, "Soulds like fun. When are we moving out?"

"Oh in a few minutes or hours. I want to set everything up." Stauros picked up the bag on the bed and started putting everything away.

"Okay, call me hen your done, i'll be in the armory." Delfran left and started fixing up his outfit.

Sel, Ship

"How do you go about accidentally pushing someone off a cliff? Oh, I don't know, maybe when you're wrestling? think what you will, though it's not my place to tell ou what to think." he said, leaning his chair back. "Some flin?" he asked, holding out a small flask.

Dalrus, Caldera




Dalrus looked out from atop her new tower, the view of Caldera from the top was beautiful, the large mountain city was sprawling with soldiers, her soldiers. She had now become a great leader of her city, all that needed to be done was a war. Wred was moving too slow, she needed to test her new war machine. Dalrus wanted a war, her knights might have to start one. Either that or Hlaalu would have to stop their whimpy policy and start acting more agressive. She walked down into the lower levels of the Govenor's hall now Hla Ambrose, and called her knights

"Men we ride to Balmora, from Balmora we await the arrival of Wred" Dalrus said as she mounted her Kagouti. The group of knights all mounted and started riding south towards the capital...

Raavin, NV

Interesting. She has presented me a ideal opurtunity... Raavin thought to himself. The Dunmer leaned forward in his seat and placed his elbows on the desk, clasping his hands together as he looked at Serene with his firey-red eyes.

"You ask me much, Serene, to declare war..." he started, he knew he had to seem less than eager about this. Make it look like he wasn't just begging for a excuse to war with the Telvanni and crush them. "War is a terrible thing. Many men gives their lives in it, men, women, children, even those not participating directly in the bloodshed die. But..."

"This world is also like a forest, if it goes too long without a fire, it becomes overgrown, one must start smaller controled fires to keep the forest well, uncrowded, free from the danger of a massive all-engulfing fire that occurs when it is left unchecked. It is time to start one of those fires, to burn out the weeds and othert pernicious elements that would choke the life from the rest of the forest."

"We will go to war with the Telvanni. But If we do, you son may be in danger, as he is at their mercy. As our first act of war we should stage a rescue for your son. We will require time however, to scout Sadrith Mora and prepare for war. But it will be done."

Serene Raavin´s office NV

Serene looked up, meeting the fiery eyes of her Archmaster.....She smiled with tears in her eyes, when hearing the wise words of Raavin.

"I presented him with an opportunity, he thinks, well that is alright, I´d do anything to try to save Saryn, besides the Telvanni needs to be taught a lesson....and he´s talking of wars as if I didn´t know about wars, I, who was in the Arcyakt-wars!!"

"I am grateful, Archmaster, I know war is a terrible thing per se, but in this case it might have some advantage, just as you so wisely put it to me. Now I´m afraid that they hold my son in the headquarters of their leader. After investigating the only witness to my son´d kidnapping I´ve found out that Mistress Therana put am amourous spell on Saryn....he´s attracted to some high-up female of House Telvanni, who she is I don´t know I´m afraid"

Serene wiped her face and continued:

"What is the plan of saving Saryn then?"

The Silhouette, Dagon Fel




The Silhouette stood atop the large tower near Dagon Fel. The town had grown into a minor city and the tower was now in the middle of the town. All around town thousands of orcs stood into line dressed as redoran warriors. Orcs were allowed into the house, and such a large army would be welcome. They also had at least two thousand Nord reavers, who would provide redoran with a large navy. The Silhouette had already read all books on redoran that was in the library of Nathanoj, and the library of Dagon Fel.

The Silhouette said a spell and all the shadows that had surrounded him, his super magic, left. He would gain it back when redoran accepted him. He had no intention of destroying redoran, for they were honorable, and were true warriors. He respected this. He jumped aboard a ship where the other silhouettes had all done the same. The moldair were waiting aboard and their durzog mounts were on the ship next to them. Three ships for the Brood were also prepared, and the rest were for the orcs. Following the orcs were the reaver battle ships which would also fight.

The large armada now made their way south. They would land on the coast parallel to Ald Ruhn, and then march across. They were a huge army, and Redoran would now be rewarded for their honorable methods and fightingd...

Therana, SM

"Well Lady Amili, what do you say? Isn´t he a fine specimen of the male race?"

She chuckled and leaned back on a narrow bench, watching Akar walking around in Amili´s chamber

Raavin, NV

"Well, I haven't fully plotted it out yet, but I would think it will involve a small, commando-style raid of the location he's most likely to be - The Telvanni Council Hall," Raavin replied. "If you want you can come, and if you have any friends you consider capable you can bring them as well. Otherwise the operation will be solely in the hands of my men. They are capable however, as I have a few in mind - battlemages, at that."

"Saryn himself can be cured with a dispell, I would think, so long as the dispell's magnitude equals or exceeds that of the spell he's under. Then he can be brought away to safety. Escape can be made with some recall spells. Unless Wolverine Hall's imperial Cult shrine has been destroyed, in which case Divine Intervention scrolls would send them to Fort Buckmoth, as aside from Wolverine Hall, there are no Imperial forts within Telvanni territory. Excepting Tel Vos, but, it lacks a Imperial cult shrine, and thus is a nonfactor."

Miles, Ship

Miles was tempted to strike the flask of flin onto the floor, but hesitated and decided otherwise. He didn't want to start a fight, especially not when the fight would be fought it such a contained area.

"No," Miles said bluntly, leaning against the wall, "Leni might be thirsty, have anything she can drink?"

Miles knelt on the floor in front of the child.

"Leni, is that bear a ferocious flesh eating monster?" he asked teasingly, trying to cool himself off and get his mind off Niran's death.

Stauros and Delfran->Balmora

Staruos walked inot the armory and got Delfran. Then the two walked over to the Fort. Upon arival they found alot of people training and Delfran left, seeking someone to test. Stauros continued and walked inside. Stauros looked around and eventually found the captian in charge.

"Ah 'ello Serjo Stauros. What, may I ask, brings you here today?"

Stauros shook the man's hand. "Ah yes thank you captian Zenori. I just came to see how things were moving along and such. I think Delfran is out seeing how well the recruits are doing."

"Ah yes good, good. Now ser." he said pushing papers away in a drawer. "SO you want a tour of the place I asume?"

"Sure, that works. So Were is your armory?"

The captain and Stauros walked around and did tour stuff... (ooc: I didn't think you wanted to listen to all the stuff)

Dalave->Dagon Fel

Dalave watched as the last of the silhouette's ship pass out of site ad she turned to her most trusted man. "So when the Heck will our stuff be done?"

"Well a two or three days at the most I would say."

"Good, After we are finished we will leave." Dalave turned and looked upon the center of the town were the brood set up all the anvils and other equipment and were finishing weapons and armor left and right. Dalave made her way down the hill and looked at the equipment.

Serene, Raavin´s office NV

She sat silent for a while grasping the words of the Redoran Archmaster, she did trust him to save Saryn, but she would prefer to be present...just in case. She wished Sel to be with her, or Jonacin, but both were not to be counted on, Sel for simply not being in New Vivec anymore, and Jonacin.....for not being the actual father of Saryn, she did not wish to involve him.

No this one she had to accomplish by herself, together with Raavin.....

"That is a good plan Raavin" she said calmly, "Do you wish me to get some spells to bring?, And yes please I do want to come with you, i tryst you and your men completely. Unfortunately the friends I do trust....are not present....at the moment"




Leni, in the company of Sel and Miles

"Noooo.....it´s not!" She drew the teddybear away from Miles looking curiously at him, " Why are you angry at Uncle Sel?"

The Silhouette, Ald Ruhn



The army saw the city of Ald Ruhn off in the distance. It was quite fortress like. Huge towering pillers with redoran archers were everywhere, and a large wall protected the rest of the city. The Silhouettes army was enourmous and he hoped he could get into the city and join without them thinking he was attacking. Redoran was his new home, and thousands of orc warriors would defend it. Surly he would become govenor of a large redoran city by bringing this force. They were greeted by shouts of joy as the archers saw a huuuge army coming dressed in redoran armor

"And who might you be good friend?" a man said as he walked down the steps from under skar. The army was set up in perfect lines in the large mainstreet of the city.

"My name is Malren yelari. I am from Dagon Fel. I have come here to join the redorans, for they have proven themselves worthy warriors."

"Well i am almost sure you can join. However i must transport you to New Vivec to speak with Raavin." the short dunmer said.

"Then do so" the Silhouette hissed.

"Very well," said the confused man. He transported the Silhouette to New Vivec to the chamber outside Raavin's office.

"I have traveled for three days just to be transported here!?" the Silhouette said to himself. He knocked on the door of raavin...

Miles, Ship

Miles stood and smiled weakly at Leni but didn't answer, before turning to face Sel again.

"So," Miles asked cautiously, "Does your family live in Cyrodiil, your mother and father perhaps?"

(OOC: Heh . . . . okay maybe its not that funny. . . at all.)

Sel, Ship

"Something like that." Sel answered, not exactly wanting to make Miles more angry. If he was mad at this, Sel didn't want to imagine him after he expained the situation with Celia.

Amili, Sadrith Mora

"He is." She admitted, but with some amount of disdain. It really was too bad that he was a half-breed.

"Akar, go find a servant and tell him to send you to your chambers." Amili ordered.

Akar, Sadrith Mora

He didn't know why, but he felt that he should do everything in his power to please this woman in front of him. As much as he hated being parted from her, he still had to do as she said.

He made his way downstairs, and soon found himself being led to a cell. IT saddened him to think that his mistress would imprison him, but if it would please her, he would gladly do it.

"Ah, that is too bad," Raavin replied. "Bring what you think will be useful. Healing spells, fortify ones, I'm not sure of what schools of magic you use beyound restoration," raavin shrugged. "Though-"



Raavin stopped mid-sentence. "Come in," he said.

Serene, Raavin´s office

She turned around watching as Raavin told the unexpected visitr to enter.....still her mind was occupied with what she would bring for the rescue of Saryn....

"Who would visit Raavin tonight? I wonder......"

The Silhouette, Raavin's office




The Silhouette opened the door and slowly walked in. He walked over to Raavin's desk and hissed. "I, have under my control thousands of soldiers. Not one hour ago we arrived in Ald Ruhn and were let in with joy from your people. I have deemed Redoran most righteous of the houses to deserve my services" he again hissed. "I am more powerful than any enemy you will face, will you let me fight for redoran, I could govern a city of your choosing" the Silhouette said in his cold hissy voice. 'And of course i will still have Dagon fel' he thought.

"What do you say great master Raavin?"

Sel, Ship

"Could you watch her for a second without scaring her to death?" Sel asked Miles as he walked out of the cabin and into the fresh night air.

He loved the sea. Since working for a 'mainland' port, he began to hate rivers. He normally travelled the rivers and gave the cargo to real sea-going ships, but every once in a while, he was given the opportunity to take the entire trip. Those were the ones he loved. The smell of the salty ocean air, the soft roll of the waves, the spray that hit his face when the wind picked up, it made his job a lot less boring.

He found himself looking at the stars, and wondering what kind of lecture he would get when he got home. His thoughts on that topic immediately halted when he looked closer at the stars. He was no navigator, but he knew north from south. And they were going north.

Sel walked over to the captains cabin and banged loudly on the door.

"What do you want?" the captain asked as he opened the door.

"Why are we going north?" he asked. "Cyrodiil is to the south."

"Because I ain't runnin' a blockade." the captain replied firmly.

"But I paid you to run the blockade."

"Care to take that complaint up with the Empire? I'm sure they'll love the idea of people running their blockade."

"You know damned well there's no Imperial officer around anymore."

"Exactly. Now sit in your cabin and wait until we reach Dagon Fel. There are some fellow Reavers I'd like to meet with there."

"We are going to Cyrodiil." Sel said, drawing his sword and placing its point on the captain's neck.

"Kill me, and that little girl o' yours dies."

Sel thought it through; an entire crew against himself, Miles, and a five-year-old girl. "Fine. We'll get off at Dagon Fel."

"Good. Now go to sleep."

Sel walked back to the cabin, frustrated, angry, and unable to do a thing.

Raavin, NV

To his credit, the Mer remained a stoney expression despite the intimidating prescence of the Silhouette. Raavin sensed the...being had motivations beyound what he told for joining the house, but he was bringing in many soldiers. They would be useful for any mission to dangerous or suicidal for his own troops, and the Silhouette did indeed seem powerful, thoguh Raavin doubted to the extent the thing claimed to be.

"So be it," The Archmaster said. "Tell me your name, stranger, and you can govern Gnisis, and Ald Velothi will also be under your jurisdiction, by virtue of it being so close yet small enough to not deserve another appointed to it. You could even appoint someone from your own troops to oversee it."

Stauros->Fort Whatever its called

Stauros and Zenori walked outside and watched Delfran test the recruits.


Dalave Vandalas->Dagon Fell

Dalave looked over the production and someone came up to her. "Dalave, a ship is aproching, looks like a travling ship. Its to small for a merchant or a army and to big for a fishing boat."

"Okay well if its to small for an army boat then why do you care? we could take them on anyways."

"yeah, but I just thought you wanted to know."

"Well then lets give them a welcoming party." Dalave called for a handful of people and they all went to the habor and waited for the ship to (take its lousy freaking time to ) dock.

Sel, Ship

The Captain banged on his door not an hour later, demanding that they get off his ship.

Sel muttered something unintelligible, but obviously insulting before picking up Leni and his things and walking out of the cabin.

He turned back towards Miles. "Coming?"

As he walked off the ship and onto the island, he was greeted by a not-so-nice-looking group of people, who he thought was lead by the woman in front of him.

"Who are you?" he asked, an agitated tone apparent in his voice.

The Silhouette, New Vivec



This was all the Silhouette needed to here, he did not care about this useless man before him, all he needed was a flag to go under (and a group to RP with ) so he could take what he wanted. Dagon Fel was useful and larger than Gnisis (in the RP it is) however not close enought to anything. With Gnisis he would be within striking distance of anything Redoran. What annoyed him was that Faction leaders seemed to spend more time with New Vivec than their own cities.

"Thank you friend, however why are you not in Ald ruhn" the Silhouette said with a hint of pure anger

Dalave looked at Sel and his company and smiled, "Who am I? I don't think you are in to much of a position to be asking questions, so i'd suggest that you tell me who you all are."

Raavin, NV

"Business has called me here at the moment, and there are other councilors in Ald'Ruhn to manage it," Raavin replied cooly. "You still haven't told me your name, however," he added in a less frigid tone. "Oh, and I forgot to mention, your rank will that of a House Brother. It is a high rank, only a few steps removed from a Councilor."

Sel, Dagon Fel dock

"I am in a perfect position to be asking questions." Sel replied. "I arrive at a dock only to find that someone expects me. I want to know who, so I ask." he said, as if explaining to a five-year-old.

The Silhouette, Raavin's office.



"My name is Malren yelari" the Silhoutte said giving him his fake name. "I have reason to suspect that a war is about to start between the two houses Redoran and Telvanni. I have heard of tensions rising, and wonder when the war will start" the silhouette said trying to hide his lust for killing. "My troops are ready at a moments notice to attack Tel Vos." he said thinking of a new place for a tower.

Dalave->Dagon Fel Shipyard

"Not expecting, so to speak, more like noticed you were coming and planned en advance. But if you must know, I'm Dalave Vandalas, and this is my town, so I make the laws. So who are you and what are you doing up here?" Dalave made a cruel smile and then noticed the baby, "Whats she for?"

Well, he's headstrong, which is quite admirable, I'm going to have to get to know this man, but whats with the kid?

Serene, Raavin´s office

She stood in the corner overhearing the conversation between Raavin and the other man. She did not want to interfere, but her concern about Saryn overwhelmed her so she asked:

"Please gentlemen, I´m don´t intend to sound rude or impatient but don´t we have a rescue-mission to attend to?"


Therana, SM Amili´s chambers

"So Lady Amili..isn´t he a nice specimen of the male race? that son of a witch...."

Therana chuckled evil......

"What will you do with him? Ha, Serene should be really upset by now, I wonder what she´s doing right now?"

Ryyden Hurrano, Sadrith Mora




Ryyden stormed into the tower at Sadrith mora very angrily. The guards were scared as he walked past them with ice building up on his fingers. A guard yelled,

"You cant go in there, Miss Amili is in a meeting!" the man yelled

Ryyden levitated up anyway.

"Amili when is the war starting, Dratha is just asking me to destroy her. I saw her in the market yesterday and she ran away from me when i wanted to talk of Telvanni war happenings" he said in a huff

Ok, here i come.

Telina:Wildernes.

Telina, was as normal roaming the lands, and at the moment she was just outside New Vivec. Suddenly she...felt something, the precense of an old friend, which she had not met in years, she were in pain, she was angry and worried. For years now Telina had shunned the civilisation, and consentrated more on learning, study everything that was to study out in the nature, but after a little thinking, she made up her mind.

She spoke the woid-walk spell that would take her to New-Vivec, and then found herself in the Telvanni section. It was strange, the place was being riggedup, as though they suspected an attak, a little looking around madeher even more uneasy. She wanderedthe corridors, untill she found someone of at least a suitable rank.

-"You there, spellwright, whats happening here", she said in a very demanding voice. "None of your buisness, scum". "Oh so we're being rude are we, you happen to talk to Telina Delvanni, the rightfull Arch-Magister of the house, now I'm gonna ask you again, and if you ansver me right I might let you live". She then extended her hand, and the rude mer was lifted up as if a invisible hand had gripped him by the throat, and was slowly choking him.

-"I-I-I'm not allowed to tell anyone, but si-since you ar" SPLASH!!!! the ribcage of the mer suddenly exploded outwards, and he fell dead to the floor..."Wrong answer", she simply said.

She walked out of the Telvanni canton again, while thinking of the depths her house had fallen...she was ebarassed by it, this was just the reason she had suddenly just left without even giving a message. Somehow she found herself at the Redoran canton, she could feel that her old friend was in there, so she entered the plasa, and wandered around, reflecting upon why she had left, had she not they propably wouldnt be in such a serious position as they were now.

Serene, Raavin´s office

Obviously Raavin was too occupied to really pay attention to her, so she decided to go for a walk. When entering the Plaza area of the Redoran Canton she noticed a very beautiful silvery-haired woman looking somewhat distraught.

"Hello there, just arrived have you? Can I help you?" Serene approached the woman with courtesy

Telina:Redoran plasa.

-"Oh what now", she said in an agitated voice, and then turning. The woman standing in front of herr, made Telina feel really guilty for ansvering so angrily.

-"Renie, my my, it is you, I havnt seen you in ages". "But well, i sensed your precense here, so i dropped in, and suddenly i forgot all about you, sorry for the way i ansvered you in...so would you like to go somewhere and have a bite, i havent eaten in hours"? Telina gave her a big hug, and smiled at her, it was good to see serene again, they hadnt met in years now, and she was one of the few real friends Telina had...Telinas enemies propably outnumbered her friends by tenfolds.

Serene, Redoran Plaza NV

"OH! It´s really YOU Telina? why that´s wonderful.....of course we could have a bite to eat....then I do have an important mission you see......my son´s been kidnapped and I just askedRaavin....to declare war....."

Serene suddenly went silent......

"my dear, I can´t tell her I asked him to declare war against telvanni...she IS a telvanni for gods sake"

-"Ahh dont worry Renie, I'm gonna help redoran out of this, but well I dont like entering the minds of friends...it make mefeel guilty, so why dont you just tell me exactly what happened, as I dont want to force it out of you...remember i am still the rightfull leader of the house, imagine what chaos I can make with issuing ordes that goes agains the orders given by that whelp who is currently leading".

-"So lets discuss it over a dinner at your place, as mine is propably filled up with some Telvannies that think they are important, worthless dogs they are".

She smiled at Serene, she had never told her that she could the art of telepathy, all to well.

"Ok I´ll tell you......over a drink, I suppose an hour or two won´t make that much difference to Saryn"

Serene sighed.....she was more worried about her son than she would admit

OOC: I know Amili consider herselfas the rightfull leader of the house, but Telina, knows that she never actually left the house, but she dont go there anymore...she will let the redorans kill most of the worthless scum, then she will rebuild the house, and have a closer relationship with the redorans, in order to keep peace in the world.

Telina reckoned with herself, after blocking her mind from intrusion from others. "Hmm there is something bothering her, but she dont wish to talk about it fully, i wish that there was more I could do".

Dalrus Varus, Balmora



Dalrus and the battlemages of Caldera arrived atop their kagouti's. They were greeted in balmora with respect however, they went straight to the council hall.
Dalrus was much angrier looking then she was before. She was still gorgeous however, she did not have a smile like she used to. Her hate for Amili still burned strong, she would take her out if it was the last thing she would do.

There had to be a way to start a war with Telvanni, she felt something big had happened, with redoran and telvanni. She thought of serene, that nice women down in vivec, who she had met at the battle. Dalrus asked at once to be transported to New Vivec. By an old mage transporter who was once part of the mages guild. Maseline(sp?) by name. The friendly bosmer transported her to the hlaalu plaza.

Dalrus walked towards where she felt serene's precence, and she felt some extremem anxiety. Something bad had happened, that much was sure.

Dalrus stopped along the way to get some comberry pie which was delicious. But sent a telepathic message to serene

OOC: we are in the Redoran plaza, this is a perfect chance to meet Telina as well.

Telina suddenly stopped, and felt...something. A new person had come here, someone who could perform telepathy, at least a little, she had to meet this person.

-"Renie, wait a moment, there are someone in this city...someone powerfull".

As Akar exited, Ryyden entered, giving his sstory angrily.

"Ryyden, we do not have time for your petty squabbles with Dratha. you can either challenge her to a duel now and end this, or wait until after we have crushed the Redorans. Either way, stop complaining to me."

Akar obeyed happily, but there was still a hint of sadness there. Why didn't Amil want him close? He had to please her...

Sel, Dagon Fel

"I used to live in New Vivec, but I came here to avoid the coming war among the Houses." he lied, purposefully avoiding giving a name. "And this child is the daughter of..."

He struggled to think of a famous couple that consisted of a redguard and an imperial, but it was too difficult. The only one that came to mind was Jonacin and Serene, and he sure as hell didn't want to tell the truth....

"A friend of mine died and left his daughter to me to care for." he explained. "And this," he said, putting a hand on Miles' shoulder, "Is the girl's half-brother."

At least that lie worked, since Leni was half Imperial, and Miles was full.

He immediately thought of the possiblilty that the Captain would rat him out, but it was soon a moot point as the ship began to leave. Apparently, the captain lied about wanting to meet Reavers as well as he did about taking them to Cyrodiil.

Therana Amili´s chambers

"Nahhh please Lady Amili" Therana whined, "Please don´t let him hurt Dratha! she´s a good friend!.....and why do you send the witch´s son away? Don´t you want to....hehe use him?" Therana´s smile was all slippery....


Serene, Redoran Plaza

"Too much magicka floating around......can´t concentrate on Saryn, this is getting on my nerves"

Serene stood, politely smiling as Dalrus approached....apparently Telina was excited about the newcomer....this was getting a bit awkward....two Telvanni-mages ......and far to near.

Serene felt cold sweat running down her back.....this was maybe not god at all....she made a faint attempt of going back to Raavin´s office again....but didn´t, she was far too curious...

The man in question shook him head, he knew better then to dissagree with Dalave.

" At least your Dunmer, that counts for something in my book" Dalave smiled.

"I happen to like being dunmer." he replied, flashing a smile.

"So what do you call yourselves? Who are you allied with?" he asked, hoping to get a feel for his familiar yet very strange place.

"As do I. We? We are the Brood, and allied? Ha, We work alone."

"The Brood, huh?" he said, scratching his head. "And I take it you're the leader, Dalave?"

"No, I'm just the spokes woman and the boss's gal." Dalave took a quick scan, and saw her right hand man, "The boss is that big brute over there. The one sitting on the wall."

hmm, wonder how long it'll be till he catches on.

Dalave turned to walk over and motioned to Sel, "You coming?"

Sel nodded and handed Leni over to Miles. He didn't want her to be involved if anything got ugly.

"So does this brute have a name?" he asked as he caught up with Dalave.

"Yeah, he's Athal." Dalave and Sel approched Atahl, "Hey boss this is who was on the ship."

Athal jumped down and eyed Sel over, knowing when Dalave called him boss to go with it, "So whats your name?" Athal aasked in a scruff voice.

Sel held out his hand. "Selenil." he replied with a disarming smile, almost hoping that this Athal would't believe him. "And yours?" he asked, even though he already knew the man's name.

He suddenly regretted giving his real name. It could get him in unwanted trouble, and bring unwanted attention. After all, only a select few knew who the empty pedestal in New Vivec belonged to, and almost anyone could claim the name. Sel suspected that many already had. It was a bad side-effect of having a blank statue that Sel hadn't thought of until this moment.

Dalave looked at Sel witheds a raised brow and Athal looked at his hand. Just as Sel was starting to retract it Athal granbbed it and shoock it, "Har har har, Good one, what ever though, that Sel's a bastarde though, he helped that Imerial witch, Serene or somethin?" Athal smiled a broken smile.

Sel smiled and gave Athal's hand a hearty shake. his name had another effect that he hadn't forseen; it put an air of mystery around him, as if he was hiding his true identity, when he really wasn't.

"Oh, yes, I'd forgotten all about Serene." he said in joking terms to continue the masquerade. He thought all this was extremely ironic, hiding behind his own identity.
