On the subject of Rammstein (whom I actually quite like), has anyone heard the Rammstein version of "I'm a Barbie Girl"? It's hilarious!
*

Never heard of him/it/them. I've only heard the Wacky Al-what'shisname version of "Barbie Girl" ("Ugly Girl"), though.

Anyway, right now I'm listening to some oldish music. Um, it's Spanish music actually sung by Belinda. I like her songs, really pretty (to me and my family) and calming. smile.gif
gamer10
Right now,

Weezer's "Say it Ain't So,"

My brother saw them live yesterday, dry.gif
Kiln
I like Rammstein but I don't understand a word of it...right now I'm listening to Bryan Bowers' "The Scotsman" I find it hilarious, I know I'm weird... embarrased.gif
Dantrag
I'm listening to "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin.

If you didn't know it was Led Zeppelin before I said it, go home and cry. Now.

I quite like '70s rock. Beatles, Boston, Rush (I guess they're more 80s...) ELP etc.

vaanic~one

Not a Nirvana fan. (and that's an extreme understatement so as not to be considered flaming)
Megil Tel-Zeke
Hmm i'm not musically inclined and definetly do not keep up with bands, so I could not tell you much, if anything about bands or songs O.o.

on that note, I am currently listening to a series of Nobuo Uematsu pieces from final fantasy VII, VIII, X, and X-2. So I enjoy instrumental pieces, and find them very soothing and make good background music (which is the primary reason i listen to any music.)

I like music from FF IX, Personally I think it's the best that Uematsu ever did. My favourite has to be "Pandemonium, the castle that time froze"

It is a piece only suitable for grand organs. I like heavy Organ Music, especially "The Voluntary", it's a very powerful piece.

Luckily, My school chapel houses one of the biggest organs in Europe.
Dantrag
Anyone else like jazz?

I like the jazz band Bela Fleck and the Flecktones - simply amazing.

Victor Wooten (the bassist) is quite talented.
Fuzzy Knight
Hmm, jazz.. Naah, haven't heard that much of it thought.. kvright.gif I'm listning to Big Bang - Saturn Freeway.. wink.gif
Dantrag
The Glass Prison - Dream Theater.

It's one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. It's progressive, so there are a lot of changes within the song.

It's one of their harder songs, with some soft parts as well. (Sweet guitar solos too)

-----

Well, my playlist continued during this post...

the Great Debate - Dream Theater

It's a good song, if only for the lyrics. It's about the band's view on stem cell research, which just happens to be my view.

Musically, it's what you would come to expect from Dream Theater.
i_am_the_billy
right now i'm listening to Wait and Bleed by Slipknot off their first CD
Red
Listening to Skullivin by they might be giants.
milanius
Faithless - Mass Destruction

Dantrag
I don't like Weezer's new stuff.

It's so....bad. Beverly Hills has to be the worst and most un-Weezer-ish song ever.

Channler

Californication - Red Hot Chli Peppers

There are rumors about everyone being gay. Including Abraham Lincoln.

Though I wouldn't doubt it if the vocalist for The Darkness was gay...

This state I'm in
A place I've never been
I'm dying to meet you here

Come break this skin
I'll let you sink right in
And show you everything
See you in hell

We'll gather around the fire
And I will lead the choir
Sing Farewell
See you in hell

Come break, my spell
Well down the wishing well
We'll find some time to time to kill

I'll be, right there
The buzz inside your head
The whole electric chair
See you in hell

We'll gather round the fire
And I don't need the choir
Sing farewell
See you in hell

I'm listening to "2112 Overture/The Temples of Syrinx" by Rush. <- awesome band.
Rane
This is definitely moving in the wrong direction.

Discussing music is fine, posting one-liners saying what you're currently listening to is not.

If it continues this way we can say goodnight to the thread.

Sorry Rane, I joined this place a little late so I actually though t that the one-liners were what you had to do.

Are you a punk rock fan or just an Anti-Flag fan? Anti-Flag is actually quite good live, I saw them last year.
Red
I saw them this year biggrin.gif . Umm, I'm not exactly what most people see as a punk (mohawk, leather jacket, piercings everywhere) but I'm a punk in it's truer form. One who fights against the government and likes to communicate that through music. But yeah, Rush is awesome. My mom has met most of them. She said they were really nice.

Ramones- Rock n' roll radio.
Fuzzy Knight
Right now I'm listning to Queens of the Stone Age - In My Head, it isn't half way finished and its first time thought tongue.gif Anyone here likes songs of QotSA, anyone but Sinder? smile.gif
