And what exactly is the Lexx? I searched around for a bit but all I found was this big bug thing without wings. Don't tell me that bug is the Lexx? That would be the most gross looking weapon ever!

Actually, yes, that's the Lexx. And if you think it's gross, you should experience it's captain. I present to you:

Former "assistant deputy backup courier" security guard class four Stanley H. Tweedle.
Seriously though, great science fiction show, that. Very very weird. And great. Did I mention it's really great?

On the star destroyer vs death star thing...
The star destroyers merely destroy thing on the surface; cities, landscapes, etc.
the death star completely obliterates the planet.
just thought I'd educate. (go star wars!)

Here's some Halo education! The forerunners (being that created the rings and more) were organics.
They were locked in an extincion war with the flood and became desperate enoguh to commit mass suicide to stop the parasites from spreading out of control. (So yeah, the rings are indesciminate).
Another thing is that the Forerunners made a "bomb shelter" to allow for survivors to begin again.
But they for some reason, aren't around. (Here's my theory) The forerunner survivors became humanity hence the constant address "reclaimor".

All this talk about scientific fiction esc stuff, and yet in our own galaxy, we have observed much. The Big Bang Theory, if true, shot everything away from the "exact center" of the galaxy. In about another hundred millenia, the matter that shot away from the center will return to the center. (also another theory) Basically the principle goes like this, if you throw a ball straight up into the air, where does it go after its maximum climax? Down my friends, back to the launch point. Gravity is pushing away for the "center" and then it will pull us back. Interesting?

Well, on a different topic, my father saw me sleep-walking last night..... Now, I have never sleep-walked in my life. And it would seem that I have just as much coordination asleep as awake. This is because I climbed down and up the ladder to my bunk bed without falling off and hurting myself.

I don't even know how that works, but here I am without so much as a scratch (or a bruise) on me after sleep-walking for the first time.

Never thought I had it in me (I don't even snore in my sleep).

When I was younger (12-14), I had several such episodes. Sometimes, I would awaken somewhere other than where I had gone to sleep- once I roused my father saying something fairly urgent about something- and then wandering away. It is disconcerting- in the last instance, I had to climb a flight of steps and then go back down them to my own bed.

Well it's certainly nice of you to make a return Shogun. I'm sure most of us RPers will be glad you're back, as well as the others members too.
It's nearly been a year for me, and I have yet to get bored of these forums. They're a nice way to kill time and I get to post my writing, and motivates me in continuing that aspect. So it's all good here.

Hmm, sleepwalking. I've never done that or if I did, I don't remember. I did have a talent for falling down stairs though when I was five-seven years old. Dang, my head has been cracked a couple of times yet I'm still here. I'm a god! Now I'll jump from the third floor just to prove it. Or wait, I'd better not.
And I just love this place. The funny thing is, the Oblivion and older game areas are pretty much deserted compared to general discussion, fanfiction and rp sections.
And I think I was nearing the next rank, let me see. 2020, plus this one makes 2021. Oh yeah, rank in the bag.
*gasping sound* The circle is round, Obi-Wan. Now I am the master.
Yes, all of you. Bow down to the master!

I wonder what comes after this. It is kind of funny how those ranks are pretty much nonsense. I outrank a lot of people who have been on the boards a lot longer than I have. It doesn't make sense.

Post count? I don't even think about it much- despite my ancientness upon the fora. (I am, after all, the "Official Forum Grand-dad"). If I really wanted to boost my count, I would spend more time reading and commenting in the Fan Fiction area, if I had more time to spend.
Been trying to find my way around Guild Wars- based on the (mostly spam) stuff in the Chat channel, I think I got there several days after the party was over.... And maybe I am more of a solo gamer (even though I have been doing roleplaying since before I even owned a computer).

My school just had yearbook signing...... I do not believe this: the book
did not include my picture!!
I didn't even hear when the tennis team had the team picture!

Well, the consolation to all that was the fact that we had signing out on the football field. So my friends and I were able to play team freeze tag (or something like that).
I am the self-proclaimed master of sneaking.

One of the other team's members walked right past me while following my friend (I was at arm's length staring at him as he walked past). When two of the came for opposing sides, I ran left and then slipped through the gap between them (while the nearest on skidded to change direction (one of them said he was in football)).
Anyway it was fun and very, very hot out there at the end of the day.

A big nasty storm hit my town last night around seven pm and I guess some broken trees took out the powerlines to our little block and our power was out for a long time. I didn't notice it was on until around 4 in the morning. When I left school our cable was still down and the internet wasn't working (I'm currently at work) so it'll be interesting to see how things are when I get home.
I have to say it's sorta creepy driving around inside a city when there's no lights on, it's like everything's dead. Very eerie.

I work for a company called Culligan Water. We have a drive thru window that sells the big 5 gallon jugs of water (18L) and salt for water softener systems. I run that drive thru on the closing shift and a full day on Saturdays. It doesn't get too busy and we're given computers with internet access so I surf the web to kill time. I actually do most of my writing (almost all of it) while I'm at work

@Wolfie
Congratulations man, I got my High School Diploma last year but I didn't know where I wanted to go for post-secondary education so I took an extra year. Well I figured out where I wanted to go so I'll be moving to our Captial (Toronto) to attend a private college in the fall.
@Shogun
European countries often have legal drinking ages a lot lower than the States and North America. They're also at lot less severe with checking ID and all that. When I was in France, the legal drinking age is 18 but I saw people as young as 14 drinking in the bars I went to.

Different laws here in Ireland. We get to drink legally at 18. Course I haven't actually drunk since I turned 18..... I tried and disliked a whole bunch of different tpyes of booze when I was 17

My perference is actually with the mix drinks myself. I'm not a huge beer fan but I've built a better appreciation for it when I was in the Bahamas.
If you like Iced Tea, you'd like the Long Island Iced Tea because it's potent but you can't taste the alcohol. To some, drinks like that are called the "scary" drinks because after a few you suddenly realise you're drunk.

All this talk of alcohol, yet no one has metioned Killigan's Irish Red, the besh amber beer there is!!!
And to go with your beer, Beer-basted Fish and Chips, straight from the oven! I grew up in Germany and my family moved around Europe, apparently trying to culture me, bleh.......
Also, I was watching Oprah, you guys overseas may have heard of her, but she had this guy on her show that had been an alcoholic for twenty years, they made him take this pill like three years ago and now he doesn't drink. In fact, he throws up if he consumes an alcoholic drink. Sounds like Clockworm Orange to me!!!
