Here we go again.
And a quick addendum before we get started.
What this thread's purpose is:To let people gather up and
discuss music, music tastes and everything thereof.
What not to do in this thread:Posting one-liners telling only what song you are listening to.
Myself, still got
Disturbed playing in the background. Guess it'll never get old for me.

Anyways, I'm still on my Queensryche binge with Revolution Calling. Kinda begins the story, where Nikki decides that he'll kill for Dr. X's revolution...

I dont like Iron Maiden for some reason, its too damn noisy for me, and well, I guess I dont like that music at all.
But Rock, especially AC/DC is cool, I can listen to rock for several hours.

I just bought two more System of a Down cds "Hypnotize" and "Mesmerize" this time, I'm currently listening to both of those as I type. (no not at the same time, kinda like alternating every now and then.)
Those cds are awesome...if you like that kind of music that is. (yes I am aware that most of you don't like that music but I reserve my right to freedom of post.

I didn't know that one line posts were spam. my the rules here are tough. So anyway, I've always loved the Doors, Light My Fire being a theme song of a love relationship long ago. Riders on the Storm always reminds me of a trip to the boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ in the wintertime.

Hell yea! Some one has got good taste. SoaD is my fav band, 2nd is Rumstein.
Btw hows Mesmerize sounding, got Hypnotize and all the others except that one.
But on the music scale I'm pretty much all over the place, all depends on what mood I am, if I wanna chill then its some Massive Attack, Ghost monkey, Morcheeba, Faitless and so on.
Basicly anything that sounds good to me, some times I will even Listen to some classic music.

What I've found out today is that working with math while listning to Dream Theater really works good! Listened to alot of their stuff today and it's really great, what I really like is the variation through-out the song with the rythm and guitar sound etc.
Have been mostly listning to their 10 - 11 min longs from "Train of Thought" and it's really great compassion! Guitar is great, lyrics, singing and really nice to have on when I'm sitting here, knowing that tomorrow I'll be standing infront of some peeps and performing a one hour
performance about maths...
Anyway... Dream Theater - This Dying Soul

That's a good one. ToT is one of those albums you can listen to over and over without getting bored.
I was listening to The Doors with 'Break on Through', but you reminded me of ToT, and I switched to 'In the Name of God'.

The last days I have really started to listen to Iron Maiden, so for the moment I'm listening to "The Number of the beast", and I must say it's a damn good song.
Another favourite of mine, is "The Wickerman" (thanks Fuzzy for reckommending it to me

But I'm still more of a Rock lover.
But I must say that Alice Cooper is definately one of the better Rock/Metal singers out there...I was on his consert in Stavanger yesterday, and it was some of the best things I have ever experienced

Yes, Tellie. You have very good taste in music. My younger sister turned me on to Alice Cooper many a moon ago. He still always reminds me of her.
There is a guy who calls in for pizza at our local Hungry Howie's using the name Alice Cooper but has never been seen. When they deliver, a woman answers the door. But legend has it that it is really Alice. He does own stock cars for racing in Florida, but I don't think he really lives in Orlando. lolol

Right now we're talking Dream Theater - Acid Rain, just fell in love with that guitar first time I heard it, great song

May I add, I got a couple of Dream Theater songs from a friend today. Including a couple of guitar solo's and one where they sing Metallica's - Master of Puppets live. It's really cool to hear the vocalist singing and hearing the WHOLE crowd singing along too, with the whole song!
