Niran released his grip on Serene, still very confused.

Then he backed away again, but where would he run to. There was nowhere to go . . .

Throwing down his sword he looked at Anthanes,

"Fine you win, take me in."

Serene woke up quite dizzy.......
"Niran " she said in a hoarse voice, nobody is turning you anywhere, we are not in Cyrodiil......" she reached out her hand and gave him all his memories back

"See....you remember now don´t you?" We love you, and think about Celia.....be nice to her and she will eventually become fond of you....

She walked up to him and put her hand on his cheek......and gave him a quick kiss...

Anthanes frowned a bit at Serene.

...get a damnable room already...

"I am NOT intending on bringing you in, as I recall saying just now."

Niran backed away still . . . after picking up his sword of course.

"Torture, so you get your fun out of torturing people like that. Misuse of your damned skills." he said angrily before turning and walking away.

Damnit, why the hell did she do that?

(OOC: Niran still is very angry )

"Let's try to calm down, everyone," said Shadow, stepping forward. "I know I might not be the most trustworthy person around, but I believe I speak for our common good. If we struggle between ourselves it will only help Arcyakt. We should not waste our energy on quarrels inside the group. This mage is powerful and we can only defeat him if we stick together and act as a team. Put aside the personal differences."

"Niran!," Serene looked at him all sad, "I did not torture you, honestly, I wanted to make things easier , wanted you to forget the bad things...but obviously it messed up...forgive me please! I´ll stand by you now.....i promise!"

Niran turned around, his sword in hand, and said angrily to Serene ignoring shadow:

"You come anywhere near me and I'll cut you down!" then he turned and continued.

Anthanes sighed, following Niran. "That wasn't torture, that was misuse of magick by a mageling who doesn't know any better. Trust me, I know the difference quite well."

Torture with Illusion? Only a novice would even think about it...

When sensing Anthanes´thoughts Serene immediately turned to him and cast a silence-spell a really strong one....her eyes burned....in that moment she could have killed him on spot, but didn´t..

Never kill by magic! her mentor´s voice was in her mind..

Then she hesitated for a second, so she moved her hands in front of her and spoke ....with the voice of Niran´s dead mother:

"Niran!, for my sake..never threaten or curse a woman, particularly not this woman.....Niran please I´m with you from the other realm, I´ll contact you with the help of her....please my son for the love of your mother.........."

Niran shook his head, to clear his thoughts, he didn't want more mind games . . .

He continued walking on, ignoring the voice. . .

(OOC: Now Serene is being just plain cruel . . . using his mother's voice!)

"....! ...... .....! ... .... .... .... ... ....!" Anthanes tried to say something, but was unable to. In his thoughts, he gave a prayer to Boethiah.

Oh, Boethiah, that she may be forever tormented in the voidstreams of Oblivion!

Although the prayer didn't have any effect, it gave Anthanes a slightly satisfied feeling.

Niran.....Serene saw him walk away......if only Celia was here.....she thought, Niran for Azura´s sake COME BACK!!!!

Konrad rushed after them, skidding to a halt as Niran walked away. "Why not let out your anger with a duel? Tomorrow I challenge you to a battle, but for now...sleep!" he called. He brought out his sword and stabbed it into the ground next to him, then fell asleep on the unforigiving ground.

Niran continued . . he'd turn himself in at the first town . . he was right.

Oh...Serene hid her face in her hands...."I wiped out the Mage´s guild in Sadrith Mora..with a fire-spell.....by accident"!

Sel was surprised when Serene blew by him, but he soon went back to not caring.

He sat down by the fire again, and watched as Serene and Niran stood, looking at each other. He guessed they were having some sort of mental conversation...

Megil opened his eyes and saw he was still in the black prison.

Nothing is perfect, now that i have gathered back my strength and energy it is time to unlock this puzzle

Closing his eyes again he tapped into his energy and probed every inch of surface of the prison. It was perfectly constructed, not a single flw could be found on its surface.

There has to be a way out, looked harder, and look beyond

Tendrils of energy radiated from Megil's body, going beyond the walls and into the world beyond, he could not see the physical but he could sense the levels of energy around him. this prison was nowhere yet it was everywhere.

There's appears to be no hope of escape but there has to be something

Then it struck him, If anything can destroy darkness it is light. Megil focused all his energy on himself and the energy so consumed him that he began to glow. At first it was faint, but before long the light grew brighter and soon the very walls of the prison where consumed in light, brighter than any sun.

This is not going to work, in order to teleport i'll have to divert the energy. and I am still not in the real world. At least this should catch that mage's attention.

"ah sel, you are awake!"said sasal with much exitement, he ran to sel and wispered to his ear, "pssst1 i know who you are ! i want to help you, because you are famous in my city, and i can gain so much fighting experiance!"

"Go away, bounty hunter." Sel spat.

Serene saw him turn away from her......so why bother anymore she thought, he didn´t want to be saved so ..let him meet his destiny then....she couldn´t do anything about it.

Now the only thing she wanted was going back to Jonacin and cry her eyes out in his arms....so she turned around and stumbled back to the camp...

"bounty hunter!?!" "i know not what you speak of!" said sasal in a most calm manner, knowing that he is worth a whole lot will not help the empire, knowing what he is about and what he plans to do is what entrigues sasal... even though he is a investigator for the empire...

"I heard you asking questions about me." Sel stated flatly. "So, my logic tells me that you are either a bounty hunter or some sort of guard. Which is it?"

sasal knew not what to say, but he said "hmm? a guard?, a bounty hunter? no, i be but a man searching for adventure and combat experiance! that is why i asked questions about you, i wanted to know what you were looking for so that i may assist you" and sasal knelt and said " please let me be your apprentice!" begged sasal

Mage

Arcyakt shot up as he saw Megil moving in his little prison and promptly teleported himself to him.

"You have awakened." he said. "Did Azura say anything to you? I would very much like to speak with her...."

Sel

Sel was a but taken aback that someone had asked to be his apprentice.

"I'm not the master of a sword school or anything, and I'm not a very good teacher." Sel said with a shrug. "But we can have sparring matches every once in awhile, I guess."

Megil let the energy die down, he opened his eyes, and looked at the mage and let out a small laugh,

"Azura did not come, nor did I call for her. Only a fool would be lured into such a trap. Besides even if she came, you would not be able to speak with her. She cannot use me as such a vessel, she cannot possess my body."

"ohh thank you!" "you dont know what this means to me!" said sasal with a most convincing tone
"i may be a few years older, but im willing to learn from the youth"

Mage

"Ha! and I can't use magic." Arcyakt replied. "I doubt she would come at your call anyway - she will come when she wants to speak with me."

"Well, the man who was to torture you is gone at the moment, so I will wait until I get a replacement. Maybe you should start calling her, if only for mercy."

With that, he teleported himself back to his castle, where he found the recently arrived Osano.

"Osano, would you do something for me? I want you to visit the Urshilaku camp - I want you tracking your old companions so that I can concentrate on my army instead of them. We will stay in contact telepathically."

Sel

"Yeah." Sel replied, still suspicious of the newcomer.

"so where will we be heading?" said sasal as he looked at everyone in the group

"I don't know." Sel replied. "Personally, I would like to rest here for a bit. The people seem nice enough, and I haven't slept in awhile."

"hmm" said Megil to himself and shrugged. Two options were presented to him, either seek azura or await torture.

What would he get from torturing me? I told him she could not possess me. I lack the gift to be a vessel

Megil sat down and began to think. The mage had not realized that the light spell had succesfully destroyed th walls, but only temporarily. This was a small advantage to megil, but know he had to figure out how to leave the cell while the walls where destroyed and he could be free, at least from the cell. the next problem would be that once outside he would still be in the void, He had sensed nothing around him to which he could anchor a teleport spell to. And if such a scheme suceeded he would be so drained he would barely have the energy to stay conscious. It was still worth a shot though, better than being tortured to death.

Once again sending out tendrils into the void Megil began to search for something that he could anchor a spell to, lacking a landscapethe only hope the void offered would be a mind, a mind with an ability to extend into telepathic frequencies.

" yeah, umm where do from here?"
"should we really stay?" said sasal
"we should go to mournhold!" "i have some family there that will help us resupply and give us some much needed R&R and TLC" said sasal with a smile

"Well, we were going to go there, but we all got to Vvardenfell without having to visit the city, so there is no real reason to go...besides, if everyone is talking about me in taverns like you say, it might not be the smartest thing to do." Sel said, just throwing in his opinion.

Serene looked up hearing the others talk.....

"Sel?" she asked gently..."how do you feel now?"

"About what?" Sel asked, not quite understanding.

"ah! i thought you might say that.." said sasal dissapointingly "but never mind lets go explore the land while we are here!" exclaimed sasal, soon he pointed west and said"there is a ruin nearby here!" " lets explore that!"

This guy can't sit still, can he? Sel thought to himself.

"I'm fine with relaxing for now..." he said.

"fine... anyone have any good lore or tales of adventure to tell?" said sasal as his eye glimmered with curiosity and eagerness

"Well......you don´t remember what happened to you? you lost your memories...and....
then Serene was silent...bowing her head
