Now that my computer's all upgraded for OB, I decided to start playing a game that previously didn't work (Damn graphics card and shamefully low RAM!) - Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines (I hate the title - titles need to flow. Cut one of the damn titles or something!)

Its' a fun game, from what I've experienced thus far (a few hours of game time, hehe)  biggrin.gif

You will get totaly adicted soon if you're anything like me.
Damn I finished the game with all 7 clans, with every posible quest done in diffrent way each time, and i belive i heard all of the dialog sentences in the game. And i tryed both male and female genders. blink.gif
How's that for dedication? wacko.gif
QUOTE(Aki @ May 9 2006, 03:55 AM)
The combat is particularly fun because of the way blood splatters - I was convinced this was awesome when I whacked a guy and his blood splattered on a window horror-movie style. And I got to be inside a haunted manor - which was F'in scary. The person who sent me there will get a earful. Ghosts are not "harmless".

Manor?
Don't you mean the Hotel where Therese sent you?Well I must admit too,it has a certain unique scary feeling.
QUOTE(Aki @ May 9 2006, 03:55 AM)
I choose to play a "Gangrel", which means I get to do cool things like call up ghostly animals, get red eyes and claws (helpful in darkness and useful in a fight), and 'fortitude', which makes me harder to kill. It also means I look like some kinda of rastafarian vampire. I got dreds and stuff!  laugh.gif

Gangrels, the most animalistic vamps in the game.I role-played a female Gangrel that had no Humanity, had a high Intimidate skill, was good with firearms and she was a real b*tch. She was always swearing, and I tryed to be especialy rude with the prince! user posted image user posted image user posted image

The plot in the game is exelent, and i promise you will be quite suprise at the end of the game. There are several ways to end the game based on your actions, and i recommend trying every one of them.

QUOTE(Ibis @ May 10 2006, 09:09 AM)
Sounds like a fun game Aki ... it's nice to get your computer up to snuff and play all the latest or highest tech games.

Masquarade isn't a new game really.I think there is a year since it was published smile.gif

A friend of mine wants me to join his Quake3 clan tongue.gif I've never even played the game, but my brother has it so I might as well install it and see what happens.
Could be a nice break from Oblivion (sorry citizens of Cyrodiil, but this hero has other plans...)

I know it isn't new, but its only recently I've gotten it to work. happy.gif

Yeah, that hotel. Stupid ghosts and their pricky-ness, tossing vases at me and stuff. tongue.gif

My Gangrel is actually a pretty nice guy, has his humanity almost maxed (I lost a point in one mission. The one with "patty".) He switches between medium and close range when it suits him, as I find blowing the crap out of things useful at times where being able to close it and rip things apart is useful at other times. And well, its a waste of Protean if you don't use close range at all.

I love how my Gangrel looks like this crazy Rasta-guy

tongue.gif

But yeah, I intend on going back and doing things differently with other characters later.

Yeah, I had nice characters too. But even if you're rude and intimidating people can have it's benefits. Like when you start the game, you can rob that lawyer and get some money, a fancy watch, and some other goodyes.
Oh and......

*hint*
If you don't want to lose your humanity in the ''patty'' quest, you will just need a higher persuade skill. You will get an option to tell her that Alan is outside town, and you'll get rid of her with actualy gaining humanity wink.gif

As goes for looks, I definatly recommend Malkavians, especialy female. tongue.gif
Malks have some wicked clothing later on in the game wink.gif

Again, try Malkavians. Whoever wrote the sentences for Malks is a real genius!
It will require some wits on your part to understand your dialog options though! laugh.gif

I am addicted to Counterstrike (still prefer the 1.6 version).
I liked gohic 2 and i can't wait to get my hands on gothic 3, i am sure it will be worth waiting for. For the rest big fun of GTA, latest production San Andreas.
I waste some of my time on football manager games as well... none really good enough to mention...
Also tried Black and White 2 out but i wasn't really impressed.
Just these few for me...

Meh, I prefer being nice. I'll make a prick Venture later on. Or a beastly Brujah. My Gangrel already lost a humanity point in that quest, but he has alot of spare, so its' no big deal. Besides, Patty is a junkie and downright annoying and endangering the masquerade. Safer to take her out than hope a Werewolf eats her while she's out of town or something. tongue.gif

Yeah, I looked through all the characters when creating mine, Malks do have cool looks, and I noticed certain...features...were physiced...esspecially on the females... blink.gif

I fully intend to play through with a Malk later. Crazy folk are fun. biggrin.gif

Yes indeed. But you still didn't see anything. Try some clothes later on in the game. wink.gif
You will find them.....errr in lack of a better word, crazy! laugh.gif

Lately I have taken to playing Sims2 Nightlife again. though I recently deleted the custom content and in anger at myself stopped playing for a bit happy.gif
Pushtrak
I'm actually playing KOTOR now.
Wolfie
I'm flippin between Guild Wars and Dawn of War: Winter Assault a lot lately smile.gif
Neela
I have been playing Heroes of Might and Magic 5 alot since it came out a few weeks ago. Its a great turn based strategy game and is alot of fun if you like those types of games.

I've dusted off X-com again. Man, I love it. The tension and music, whoot. smile.gif It loses some of its charm after the first time, though. (Like the first time you encounter a Chryssalid. You'll go like: ,,Wow, that thing doesn't have a gun. Easy kill." Only to have it run at you and zombify your soldiers who later turn into new Chryssalids. biggrin.gif After you know what they do, you're carefull.)

Frankly, I play it mostly at the moment for the ships that I'm trying to recreate in 3D. I just love that Avenger, a flying box with teeth. cool.gif

QUOTE(Foster @ May 10 2006, 11:13 AM)
Pro Evolution Soccer was an option, as was Need for Speed: Most Wanted (both good adrenaline rush games).

I also nearly bought Ghost Recon:Advanced War Fighter, until I realised that the 'advanced' part means your computer needs to be a deus machina powered by a nuclear fission plant and cooled by a natural waterfall from a Swiss glacier.
*

I played some Need for Speed a few days ago, I don't generally like racing games but that and Forza Motorsport are actually pretty good.

I bought Ghost Recon:Advanced War Fighter and played it for a while, not a bad game but I wouldn't have bought it if I'd rented it first. Graphics are good but storyline and the squad command system isn't all that great. Its not much of an improvement over the other Ghost Recon games in terms of new features, just looks better.

Starcraft was awesome, I played that game for years. In fact I was just playing it yesterday...guess it never really got old to me. That was one of the few games that I played for years.

I have been begging for the Morrowind, Tribunal and BloodMoon disks to reinstall after my reformat ... but Cain is lost somewhere in the battlefields of Shadowbane and cannot be reached by messenger, even though he is sitting right in the room here. Husbands!! ohmy.gif
dagoth carlos
Ibis, Why dont you DL morrowind from a bit-torrent? thats what my friend did for oblivion(That F___ER.. got it for free)

I would lend you my copy, but where would that lead me? sad.gif ohh whells, just throwin the idea out there.....
Fuzzy Knight
Not Oblivion anymore, that's for sure... But since I haven't bought a new gaming card for WoW and believe it, this computer where I sit now can't even run WoW. Graphics was nice, but something went all wrong inbetween...

and of course my monster computer is still without i-net after I managed to loose the CD to install the adapter program and all that - So I've planned to pick up on WC3 TFT, more addictive and more skill-needed game than WoW wink.gif

Only one thing that annoys me thought - My account: YoU.OwN.Me.CoW has been closed since I haven't used it for over 4 months, lost all my stats there - was a great account...

The same for my WizO_ and SoLo.OwNs.Me account - as weird as it was, I was very good on 1 vs 1 (aka solo) on my SoLo.OwNs.Me account sad.gif
Ibis
A good suggestion, dagoth carlos. I think I will look that up if m'lord doesn't return from the battlefield soon. Although, he did get his new PC Gamer in the mail today so if I can get his nose out of that, I can probably get the disks. tongue.gif

Fuzzy, it sounds like you've got to keep current with all your accounts. I do that too. Cain has me join up to all his games occassionally so he can pass armor/weaps/stuff. I have to remember to keep my characters current - although some I never or rarely play. (5)^*% PVP'ers at Shadowbane ... they can bite me!!

So true! So I´m going to close this now, and if you want to discuss further, feel free to start a new thread but please avoid discussing illegal things, thank you!
stargelman
People...you really should know better. Suggesting piracy on this board gets you on the outer end of a warning. We cannot and will not tolerate that here and we will react very harshly to it.
