Ah, more mind control. I love it.

Hmm, telling her name had an interesting result. I'll be waiting to find out the details.
Tellie
Oh I'm not at all offended planty...i know Telina was evil there, but it will become les and less evil things from Telina. I have edited a little on the name of a place, instead of Uviriths grave, it's Salendils grave, as Telina's grandfather is buried there. Enjoy.

-"Ah Telina, something on your mind is it"? Baladas asked me in a friendly tune.

-"Well, it's a little problem, the duke wont give me a contract, so I dont know what to do".

-"Oh no, I forgot about that", he gave me one of those mysterious smiles, " your grandfather, was given a construction contract a few months before he died, so hid will instructs me to give it to you". "so all that remains is for you to find some strong souls, to construct your stronghold from", he handed me a contract that was signed by the duke, and it had been issued to a place called "Salendils grave", that was laying far out in the Molag-Amur region.

-"Now Telina, I have heard of an orc that lives in the mountains around Suran, that wields a sword with great soul-capturing abilities, I suggest you find him, kill him and take the sword".

-"But first", he said just as I was about to walk away," how good are you in conjuration, I'm just wondering, as you will have to be able to summon creatures and use their souls".

-"oh my skills in conjuration, is nearly as good as my diplomacy skills, if that tells you anything", i smiled at him, and he quickly took the point that I couldnt even conjure up the pitiest of scamps.

For the next six hours, we trained and studied on all aspects of conjuration, and i started to get the hang of it. Six more hours, and I had managed to summon up a storm atronach that was so powerfull that baladas started to clap form me, and I realised that I had learned more in half a day, than I would be able to learn in half a year with any other trainer. Dead tired I went to sleep.

When I woke up, I found muself at a far better shape than I had been in years, I was faster stronger, and i found out that all of the spells that had seemed ratherdifficoult at first was quite easy, not to mention nearly not draining my magicka at all. Extremely happy with myself, i walked up to have some breakfast, and then I bade Baladas goodbye.

I realised that since I had no spells that would take me to Suran, I would take the silt-strider again. I quickly realised that riding in large giant fleas was not my thing, and the bucket beside me, was used on more than one ocation. Finally after a sickly five hours, we stopped at Suran, and i stumbled my way down to the closest bar to have a little stiffer.

After i entered and had a little look around, i realised why this was called "house of earthly delights", it was a place filled up with strippers, prostitutes and drunken male swines. I walked over to the bar, and after three glasses of flin, I felt in shape again. After a little questioning, i found out that a crazy orc resided in the eastern hills, just outside the town, I then took my leave, and vowed that I never was to enter that place again...so wrong could I be.

When i had walked a little, I decided that I wanted to climb the mountain, instead of spending hours, of searching for a path. So i took out my rope, and tied one of the hooks onto it, and threw it up. it took me quite som time to scale that montain, but it was an enjoyable trip, filled with angry cliffracers and painfull falls. Finally, I found him...he stood there all by himself, and was holding a VERY nasty looking sword.

-"Ah greetings mortal", he spoke with a strange voice...nearly as though he was possessed by some creature. "My name is...Umbra, for years I have battled in hope of finding someone stronger than me...in hope of dying, will you fight me, so that I may have a noble death"?

Ok, he wanted me to kill him, beacuse he had been looking for someone to kill him for a long time...he was crazy, he had definately lost it many years ago.

-"No, I will not kill you, I do net even wish to fight you", I told him, I mean if he had been killing people for years, I did not want to be the next in line.

So therefore, I turned my back on him, and walked away....OK mistake number two, do not turn your back on some crazy big orc with a huge sword. I lost my breath, as something heavy hit my back, and i felt my armour break.

I instinctly rolled to my left, when I hit the ground, and lucky was that as the heavy bled was stabbed deep into the ground where I had just been. With the speed of the wind, I whippd the Ice blade out of its scabbard, and slowly started to circle the big orc, who was having problems with getting his sword out of the ground. I made my move, and swung the ice blade down with all of my force. A huge bang, and I was lying on the ground again, my hands was shaking after the force of the impact, my sword was lying several feet away from me. umbra rose up, and now he was holding that nasty sword in his hands again, but his cuirass was laying all over the place, in tiny ice pieces.

-"Time to die coward", he yelled to me.

-"oghwastyrr ghwytrring", I extended my hand, and out from the rocky ground, came not one...but..but three storm atronachs. I did not understand, how could I summon up three of them, well well, its buisness time.

-"Take him..him him", I shouted, and after a few seconds, I think they got the point, beacuse the atronachs turned around, and started to summon up some large shockballs in their hands.

I ran away a little, and decided to be well away from shock-ball area. Good was that as the whole area was suddenly full of sparkling bolts of lightning, but I could also hear fighting from inside the clouds of lightnings. After what seemed like a minute, it stopped, and the atronachs withered away, left stood Umbra...

He looked at me for a while, before he managed to utter "cheater", then he fell face first onto the ground. I walked over to where his body lay, and nearly vomited again, the stench of burned flesh was searing through the air, and even worse, i had to touch the burnt and quite crispy hand to open it, and take the blade.

I screamed in pain when I touched the sword, it filled my head of visions of eternal battle and bloodshed, of victorious slaughters of any enemy who stood in my way.

-"Ahh so you are the mighty Telina, the orc was weak, but you, you have the powers that I'm looking for". "i am Umbra, bringer of death, join me, do my bidding and i shall award you with immortality, you will get all you ever wished for, join me".

-"NOOOO", I screamed, and then i threw the sword with all of my force away. When i found it again, I took a piece of cloth, so that i wouldnt have to touch it. Then i summoned forth only one storm atronach this time...strange. i pointed my hand towards the river, and the atronach turned away dumbly, I then drove the sword right through the neck of the creature, and after a few seconds, it shrivveled to dust. i felt a warmth emit in my pocket, and i looked into it, there was one of the soul-gems that I had been given, but now it was glowing with barely contained power. I repeated this process, and then i translocated me back to Sadirth-Mora.

So hope you like this one, next one up is on tuesday as normal. All that I'm worried about now is that you will stop reading my story,as Oblivion is about to hit the shelves, and sooner or later the Oblivion fanfics will get out, and propably kick us Morrowind fan ficers out. sad.gif Nut if you continue, you will se that Telina will end up in cyrodiil, and do the quest in Oblivion...or so I hope unsure.gif

As far as I'm concerned, there's always room for Morrowind.
The Umbra fight was interesting. That guy sure could take a beating. More nice surprises along the way as well. I'll keep reading this till the very end.
Tellie
Thanks jack...I wont forget your kindness. wub.gif here have a cake.gif

So I have finally gotten caught up on this amazing story (school is on spring break, so I have access to a computer and not much work).

Imaginative, vivid, great characters with motivations that make sense- all that and more.

I even love Telina's psychotic streak- particularly where obnoxious Imperial guards are concerned. Trey certainly WANTED to throw Percius from the battlements- he just didn't know if he could get away with it....

Fascinating interplay between Telina, Baladas, and Dren.

Wonderful. Thank you for sharing your imagination with us.
Tellie
Sorry, but I got access to the computer later than I thought, so this one is gonna be short.

When I arrived at Sadrith-Mora I walked down to Llunela. I delivered the items and and was told that my stronghold would be finished in a matter of time, therefore I decided to do some other things, and I headed to Balmora. When I was walking around, I noticed that the guards was stalking me...propably trying to trap me in an alley and kill me, but that was just my telvanni paranoia talking to me.

After a little walking, I joined up at trhe temple, where I was told that if I was to join, I first had to do the pilgrimages of the seven graces, after a little questioning, I was given a book that would explain everything. I translocated back to Gnisis to read my book in private. I found the book rather pathetic, and I did not believe that lord Vekh had done all those things, but still I wanted to have something to do, so I started on the quests that had to be done here at Gnisis.

I talked to Baladas if he happened to have a cure common disease potion, which he truly did. The situation in the Gnisis temple was the same as in Ald-Rhuun, filled up with people in need of help. After a long search, I finally found the room with the mask in it, and after reading the intricate inscriptions on one of the pillars in the middle of the room, I took out the potion, and touched the pillar with it. It came a long sucking sound, and the potion wanished, I looked on the pillar for a while, and finally I pushed what seemed like a button. The pillar suddenly opned itself, and the true mask of lord Vekh was floating in the air.

Since there was no persons in the room, I took it to examine it, then I felt a sittering sensation in my back, and suddenly two new spells was imprinted in me, the mask itself, was impervious to damage, so naturally I took it, as I reasoned Baladas would like to study it more. Since the first part was done, I walked to one of the temple members who was selling ingredients, I bought a portion of dreugh wax from him, and wentured outside again. After looking a little on the map, I found out that the shrine of valour, was inside the koal cave, just south of Gnisis. I had been walking for more that two hours when I found the cave, so I dropped of the wax and recieved another blessing, and felt...suddenly better with armour, like the shrine had learned me something.

When I came outside again, it was suddenly a full storm going on, and a gigantic wave came and thundered down on me, and all got black....

So I hope I can get a little more replies on this, but well you are free to choose to reply yourself. Hope you liked it. smile.gif

No don't go all black! I wanna know what happens! Hurry with an update ohmy.gif

OK, I'll try to write one as soon as possible, but i dont think I can manage it before friday.

Yes, please write soon. And it appears that Morrowind is experiencing some bad weather today. Hate those ash storms.

Excellent updates. I particularly enjoyed Telina's adventures with conjuration. It was interesting that she managed to summon three atronachs at once; I hope you'll come back to that and explain how she did that.
Tellie
Hi, finally the update comes, I have suffered a little writing block, so I managed to scrape this together for about three hours ago, so please go ahead and enjoy yourself.

I managed to get my head above the water, and breathed heavily in the sweet air. The wave was pushing me far down the rive, and all sense of direction was long gone. I swam as hard as I could towards one of the shores, I thought, and suddenly my hand caught a door handle. I tried to hold on, but suddenly it tipped down, and the door opened. I fell down the large stairs, and was hit my head on one of the caskets down there. I do not know how long i was out, but when I woke up the room was half filled with water and several bones was floating in the water.

I spoke the healing cantrip that would make me quick in a jiffy. After a few painfull seconds of flesh knitting back together, I lovered me into the cold water, I shuddered as the water was icy cold, and I waded towards the entrance. A slight shimmer in the water to my right caught my atension, so I made my way into the room where I had seen the shimmering light. The door was broken, so I did not have to stress with opening it, I saw that the light came from the water, and after a little diving, I stood above the water again, looking at my newly aquired ring. it was the long lost Denstagmer's ring, believed by many lost and destroyed, but still here I stood with another immensly powerfull and legendary artefact, I actually thought that for some reason I was something special, before I expelled such thoughts from my mind.

When I came out of the tomb, I wanted to look at the name, but most of the outer building was...gone, propably chrushed by the gigantic wave. After a little looking around, I realised that I was lost, so i spoke the recall cantrip, and found myself standing in front of Baladas.

-"Telina, what in the name of Azura have happened to you, are you ok"?, he looked immensly worried, and I tried to calm him, but as I took a vary step forward, the floor came up and hit me in the head.

-"Telina, Telina, wake up, wake up, it's breakfast". The soft voice of Baladas came back to me, and I slowly opened my eyes.

-"How long was I out"?, I asked kinda embarassed. "Oh not so long compared to what you went through, just two weeks, oh yes a letter came to you while you were out, it's from Sadrith-Mora".

I suddenly realised what it could be, so I quickly got dressed and went up to the breakfast table. Baladas was talking to someone about a matter that had happend out in the ashlands, but I did not hear it, as I was to exited with the letter I was reading.

CODE
Spellwright Telina Delvanni of house telvanni. Your stronghold is proceeding, but we need you to get some more experts about the construction of walls, armouries and barracks, we also need you to check on the proceedings of the construction, and send back a report to me.

From Llunela Hleran.

I looked at the letter a couple of more times and then turned to Baladas to ask him if he happened to know of any experts within construction, but the look on his face made me forget all thoughts of my stronghold. He was standing there, in his left hand there was a curled letter. He was shaking, his eyes was a malovent storm of boiling hatred, and even his daedroth pet, was shrinking with fear by his master's reaction. The walls themselves was twitching and swhirling, and when he talked to me, it was with a voice that was searing my ears, and I nearly screamed out with pain, as his anger made everything around him get tormented by the unsteady magicka that was flowing throught the room.

-"Telina, two telvanni strongholds have become attaked by the forces of hlaalu and redoran, I will go to Odirniran where the hlaalu have attaked, now I want you to go to Shishi to stop the forces of redoran".

- "From what I have learned a telvanni who have been living in Aldh-Rhuun, he was only having a few years brake from the house, and this morning the rodorans claimed that he was a traitor to the contry, he-he was executed in public for treason, h-he he was my son"...

I suddenly felt a huge amount of hatred rise up within my chest, and it fed me, gave me an insatible bloodlust, a wish for revenge, I had trusted the redorans was honourable mers, a bit thight minded perhaps, but honourable yes, and yet they dared kill an innocent mer, they would pay for this.

-"Now, here I have a scroll that will take you to the entrance of Shishi, kill any redoran you come over, they deserve nothing less"
. With that, he dissappeared, and I steeled myself with the inevitable battle that was to come.

I spoke the words written on the scroll...."yr gwhaneth ahordho shishitamensta".
I felt the normal dissing sensation that always came with the means of teleportation, and soon stood in a hall similar to the entrance hall of Baladas. I slowly walked towards the door, and I opened it silently, hoping that there was not anyone looking. The sight that met me gave me an immidiate urge to loose my breakfast into the nearest bucket. The walls was splattered with blood, intestines and other pieces of guts was laying aroud, a little longer away bodie parts was littering the floors. My rage went into the highest peaks possible, it became beyond the aspect of understanding, I was filled up with an urge to kill anyone that came in my way, but I managed to resist it, I needed to keep calm in order to do this.

I came upon several rooms filled with the same scenes of slaughter as before, and after a while, I finally saw a redoran soldier, she was standing with her back turned towards me, and she was rummaging through the pockets of a dead servant. I walked silently towards her, and talked to her.

-"Finding anything of interest...redoran filth"? With that, I grabbed her by the neck, and threw her down into the pit below, where a couple of
dremoras ripped her into tiny laces, and then they headed towards me..oh damn, I hadnt counted on that. I suddenly got an idea, I tried to enter their mind, to tell them that I posed no threat to them. They had nearly reached me, before I got contact, I told them of my purpose here, and they lowered their weapons. Suddenly they grabbed me by my arms, and marched me up a long causeway towards a door, and I got the point, I loosened myself from their grip, and drawed my trusty ice blade, and confidently entered the room.

-"Ohhh bugger", I stammered, the room was filled up with propably fifteen redorans, who all looked shocked at my appearance, then they advanced towards me with swords drawn, and satisfied looks on their faces.

Only a natural instinct saved me there, my normal reaction was to get to a place where I had the advantage, so with a little telepathy, that did not strain me the slightest bit, the room went completely black, sake for me, I could feel, I needed not my eyes, I felt the entire eviorments, and so I closed my eyes, and disposed of my shiny items, which included the ice blade and the skullchrusher. I "looked" around me a little more, and saw that the dremoras had aleredy attaked the redorans, so I used my chance to bail out, and I hid in a crack in the wall, just small enough form me to hide in, the place was nearly the same place where I had killed the first redoran, and then I waited.

I felt two redorans sneaking towards me, and then past me, with the swiftness of a cat, two silver daggers came out from my boots ( one from each ), and into my hand, I then jumped and took a split over them and while still in the air, I stabbed them into the troats of the redorans. Unfortunately one of them let out a scream, and a few more came running down from the room above. I jumped over the ledge to my left, and managed ( barely ) to hold myself to the railing. They stopped..I felt it, and started to argue where I had gone, then I chose to appear, i jumped up again, and gave one of them a chrushing kick in the head, and he fell screaming down outside the railing, and was chrushed at the floor below, the next one, was dispathed by a punch that chrushed everything that was to chrush in the neck, and he sunk to the floor with the sound of a ballon who just lost it's air.

The two others were another matter, I had managed to grab one of the swords laying on the floor, but I was being pressed up towards the railing, and with two people battering on me, I could just defend myself. After a little time, that felt like an eternity, we got into a sword lock, and I was pressed to the ground, suddenly words just came into my mind, and so I spoke them..."Yghawara blastonimius".

The redorans was flung straight into the wall, as though they were puppets hit by an ogrim. The force of the impact myst have broken every bone in their bodie, and i smiled as I realised whatever power was holding it's sway over me, had given me another toy, but I realised that I needed to start to be carefull, I lost controll of situations all to often, and sooner rather than later I would get arrested if I continued. I rose up and dropped the battered sword, and picked my daggers out from the thrashing bodies, and made my way towards the upper floor. Suddenly out of nowhere came a skeleton, and it started to swing away on me with a silver claymore, slightly to large for my liking. I killed it after a little minute, but i had been cut several times, adn the bloodloss had aleredy started to make me dizzy...It was starnge that agains soldiers of house redoran, I only got in trouble if I stayed in a prolonged fight, and after that i nearly got bested by a pile of bones...this island was definately...weird.

A healing cantrip took care of the matters regarding cuts and bloodloss, and when I arrived in the top room, I managed to turn the lights back on...I wished I hadnt. The place was a place filled with dismembered bodies, blood gore and guts was littering the entire floor, and the dremoras stood there completely unharmed, with evil grins on their faces.

After a little telepathy I managed to find out how to find the master of the place, and after turning on a skull, I ventured downstairs again, and went down the trapdoor to talk with the telvanni residing there.......

OK so thats all for today, I shall write more on sunday, untill then bare with me.

Oh yesmink,i know there are some good redorans, Serene and Trey for example, but still you cant go away from the fact that in the game the redorans DO attak that stronghold...I just made it a bit more bloodier.

thanks for replies, now all we have to do is to wait a little mroe for your update to come.

Ah, nothing like the good old fashioned ambush to take out superior numbers.
So Redoran is on the warpath? I can tell it will become very messy before this is all over.
Good update.

When I came down, the mage who stood there, drew a staff, and looked as though he wanted to make a heroic last stand.

-"Wait...I am Telina Delvanni, spellwright in the house, are you Faves Andes the wizard"?

His eyes widened and a smile stretched itself across his face, and he lowered the staff. "Ah sorry for my reaction spellwright, I thought the Redorans was comin, but i guess that since you are here, they are dead"?

-"Yup they are, your two dremoras made a hell of a mess up here, so everyone here is at least quite dead".

-"Did any of my servants survive", he sounded rather worried now, as he believed the worst, which he should. "No I'm sorry, they was viciously killed, but the Redorans have paid the price....a LOT". he started to cry a little, ashe realised while he had been hiding up here, they had murderd his servants...I understood him quite well.

-"Now, take these two books here" he handed me two rather large and heavy books, "and give my thanks to your master, now leave me". I did as he said, and walked out of his room. then i spoke the cantrip that would take me to Sadrith Mora, and there i stood in my favourite weather...yeah my luck the rain was pouring down in buckets, and i was soaked after the two minutes it took me to go to the council hall.

When i came in, i heard it was a rather heated discussion in the very hall itself, so i therefore went in to have a look. In the hall, all of the mouths was having very heated discussions with each other, as was the masters who was there. They were fighting over what to do with the are known as Salendils grave, beacuse someone had found an ebony mine there....that was interesting, that area belonged to me...I tried to get their attencion, but no one was listening. i tried and tried but since no one heard me, I went over to drastic methods, i tried to enter the mind of each and everyone of them in the same time, and ask them to be silent.

I still claim today that that was the hardest thing I have ever tried to do, all the mixed emotions, free minds, i nearly fainted, and got an immense headache. but finally I felt that i had entered the mind of each of them...."SHUT UP, AND LET ME SPEAK....NOW" the room went dead silent, i saw several of the persons was holding their heads, and I realised that maby I had screamed a little loud.

-"Honoured mouths and master's, and certainly not least sed Gothren, the area of Salendils grave belongs to me, and i am in the progress to build my stronghold there, but I must thank you all for telling me there is and ebony mine there, I didnt know that, so if you have a problem with me building my stronghold there, you better take it up with my patron Baladas Demnvanni".

The silence in the room was nearly to taste and feel on, everyone was staring, sake for Baladas new mouth Enar Releth, who looked as though he was having the time of his life. But the look on Arch-Magister Gothrens face...he looked like he had been given a drink consiting of mixed guar and nix hound droppings...if any one can imagine such a look....that moment was...well just...priceless. I turned and walked out off the hall, and walked outside again, where it suddenly had stopped raining, a perfect day to explore. For many hours i walked over land and sea, following the directions tomy srtonghold, given to me in the letter. Several hours and painfull cliffracer attaks later, I stood in front of my new....shroom. I saw an orc woman standing and admiring her work, so I guessed that she was the construction leader, and I walked over to her.

-"Ahh hello musthera Delvanni, my name is Gashnak-gra-Mughol, and I am the one who is leading the construction of this stronhold".

-"You tell Llunela that the stronghold is now through the first part, and that she may think a bit about the second part, so you may move into the house right now if you so want".

I quickly translocated back to Baladas, after marking my location of course, and went up to him. I found him standing there, looking extremely happy with himself, so i guessed the Hlaallus in Odirniran, was quite dead. I sat down at the table, and wrote my report to Llunela.

CODE
Dear Llunela, the construction of the first stage of my stronghold is complete, the builder said that she will need about a week off before she starts on the second stage of construction, meanwhile she wanted you to design the naxt stage.

Telina Delvanni, spellwright of house Telvanni.

Baladas grabbed the report, and sendt it to his mouth in Sadrith Mora, so that he would deliever the report.

-"Telina", he looked at me again with thosee warm piercing eyes of his. "Now that you move out, I cant protect you more, not the same way at least, you see now that you have a own house, and being promoted to a wizard, you will become a highly apreciated target for the lower members of the house, i suggest that you seek out someone to hire guards for your stronghold". "the construction workers I have aleredy fixed, and they are travelling to your stronghold now as we speak".

-"The guards is it a little worse with, there is no one here in Gnisis and the other areas around here, so you have to find those on your own I'm afraid". "Here is a ring", he handed me a ring made of some black and cold metal, but i had no clue of what kind of metal it was. "It will instantely transport you to your stronghold, and here this is a gift from Faves Andes, as a thanks for saving him",he unwrapped another staff, which I realised was a silver staff of war...the official sign of a Telvanni wizard. " I wish you good luck...my friend".

i could swear that I saw a tear emnate from those ancient eyes, and I gave him a big hug, and walked down to say goodbye to my old room, and pick up my stuff. I was shocked when i enterd, the stuff was gone, but then I realised that the things had propably been brought there by Baladas, so I equipped my ring, and found myself outside my trusty house again. i walked up the walkway, and looked at the large banner hanging there, with a name on it...my name..."Tel Delvanni". i felt strange, this...THIS was my own place, I had never had that before, I was now the owner of a large area of land, which included an ebony mine, and IU walked happily into my house.

In the middle of the room, stood two large chrystals, that erected up from the ground, and the humming power in them, toldme that they were the foundation of my house, I had a large basement with one room filled up with empty crates, and another with large sacks filled with different herbs and other plants. The top floor was another matter though, i had two large shelves, one filled with various magic thingies, and another one filled with...books, loads of books, i loved to read, so this did not hurt my feelings at least. there was several chests filled with nothing, a table with some plates and flowers in a vase...and then it was the bed......A large Twoman bed, big enough for me to lay stretched out any way, filled with soft pillows warm blankets and good matrasses, the clothing on the bed was made of the finest of silks, and I nearly started to cry as I realised all of this luxuriousness was mine. At the floor stood some alchemical sets, and i found a wardrobe with all of my beloved clothes in, and there was also a large shelf to hold alloff my weapons and armour. i dropped off my pack, took off my shoes, and threw myself into the lovely bed, danger or no danger, I wouldnt lift a finger for many hours, so I decided to try and find some sort of guards tomorrow, and i fell asleep silently, and had the best night sleep ever.

So here it came, I do hope you liked the way I described the interior of the house, and all. The next update is on tuesday as normal.

More telepathic goodness. Telina is increasing in power with every update. You better slow down before she becomes so powerful that she starts bossing around the Daedra. laugh.gif

As always, a great update.

Ok..here it comes at last.

When I woke up late afternoone, I decided that i propably had to get me someone to clean and such in my house, and so after talking a bit to my orcish constructioneer, I was directed to Tel Aruhn, a translocating spell to Sadrith Mora, and a four hour long boattrip later, and I stood in Tel Aruhn, the home of that dunghead Gothren.

When I walked into the underground, I saw a woman directing guards to whip people who undoubletly was slaves.

-"Hey stop that", I yelled. I might not have told it before but I hate slavery more than anything, even imperial legioneers.

-"Who demands it", she said back.

-"Telina Delvanni, wizard in the house". "I am wondering, how much would you like for these slaves".? I could actually use them in my stronghold, I would free them, and offer them jobs, well paid of course.

-"You can take the whole lot for seven-thousand".

I strolled over to the bank of Vvardenfell, and withdrew ten-thousand, just to have some change...yeah right, 2k is change...Telina admit it, you like being rich. I paid the woman, and made my way to the clothier, and each of them was allowed three sets of expensive clothing each, then we continued to several other shops, and I bought them some stuff that they wanted. I barely had any money left when we arrived at Tel Delvanni, so I took them in, and made them sit down around the table.

-"Ok, first my name is Telina, youmay call me either that or Ser Delvanni". "I have bought you, simply beacuse I hate slavery, so if you all wishes so, you are free", I unlocked their braceres with the key I had been given.

-"But I ask you to reconsider with leaving, as I need as many people to work for me, so I free you, then I offer you jobs, each of you will be well paid, and will live here free as long you work for me", they was nealy crying of happiness as they seemed to finally understand what I was offering them.

-"Ok, I just want to know what everyones area of expertise is, so that I may give you the most suitable jobs". "You there, your name and profession", I asked the imperial.

-"My name is Manilian Scerius, imperial, and I used to work as a legioneer trainer, youll find out that I can teach you much with blades of any kind, including dual wielding, Ser Delvanni".

-"Khajiits name is S'Bakha, Khajiit, good with numbers and stealing mistress".

-"My name, is Ciralinde, Altmer, and enchanter, also a splendid cook Ser Delvanni".

-"I am Davina, redguard, and former legioneer, I was once one of the best trainers there is in the noble art of blocking".

-"I'm Jadier Mannick, Breton, and alchemist, if you need a potion, I'm th one you want, I can teach you a little about alchemy, but I must admit I am not the best within my line of work".

-"Well, I am Menelras, a Bosmer, and simply archer, I can teach you a little about archery".

-"OK, I'msorry to tell that at the moment you'll have to sleep on matrasses i the main hall, as I do not have any beds, sake for my own, but I ensure you I'll go straigth on that tomorrow, along with some equipment to make an alchemy lab". "Since you Manilian, seems to be the best fighter here, I put you in direct command of my house when I'm not here, you'll also get the task of finding more guards, Davina and Menelras will be your executive officers, understood"?

-"Yes Ser Delvanni", all of them said.

After that we had quite an enjoyable evening, and Ciralinde made us a fabulous meal,or guar steak, and some mashed herbs in a stew. Suddenly I got sad, as I thought on what Serene and the other ashlanders was going through up in the grazelands, little food and bad weather, so I felt it like it was my duty to visit them someday soon, after I had gotten things settled down here.

OK, so that was all for today, but dont fret, you will have a new one one friday, this was just apost made to get things up and running at my stronghold.
Taillus
Oh good. Well done on freeing those slaves and giving them jobs. They seemed to be thrilled! Very well written and like always, another great update!

Next update comes tonight....
Kiln
Sorry I haven't been keeping up with your story lately Tellie, it has grown more and more interesting in recent times as Telina's power grows greater and the building of the stronghold grows larger. Very good miss, please update soon.
Tellie
THIS ONE I DEDICATE TO KILN, IN HOPE THAT HE WILL CONTINUE WITH HIS STORY AND CONTINUE TO BE ON THE FORUMS.

OKI....I have now managed to sit down, and hopefully give out a really good one today.

-"Wake up, Ser Delvanni, it's breakfast", I woke up to the voice of Ciralinde, so I jumped into my clothes, and went down to get some breakfast.

After eating my fabulous meal, loafs of bread, with kagouti slices, and fried kwama eggs, I headed up to my closet, and picked up three of my priceless weapons, and went down again.

-"Ok, Menelras, untill i can buy weapons, you'll carry the bow of shadows, there is quite a few arrows up in the weapon case, in my room, consider them yours".

Davina, I do not have any shields at the moment, but I gift you this weapon..."I presented her with my axe. "This is Icesting, it was my very first weapon, here on the island, you may keep it", she accepted the ancient axe with shivering hands, thanking me with a weak voice.

-"And for you Manilian, I want you to acompany me to an armourers shop, there you will be allowed to chose an armour, and two weapons to be yours entierly, so be ready, we leave in half an hour"...."Davina, you are in controll here while we are away".

Half an hour later, we left for the ton of Balmora. There we visited Meldor, a bosmer smith, but he did not have what Manilian was searching for. That happened at the towns of Suran, Ebonheart, Vivec and Gnisis, but then a sudden stroke of inspiration came to me.

-"Manilian, how would you like a suit of Orcish armour"?..."Oh, that would be perfect wizard Delvanni", he said.

-"Well then, take these three-thousand septims, and buy yourself a weapon, and meet me at Tel Delvanni at midnight"...."Oh yes, sure thing Ser Delvanni". then he left, and I opned up a way to Vivec.

When I came there, I decided that I should finish this Seven graces thing, so I bought a levitate potion, and found the first shrine in Vivec. The Shrine of Daring, was located at the east side of the High fane, and after giving the potion to it, I suddenly found myself floating in the air, levitatin...damn, I hate levitating when I have no need for it...well well, this would be an airy day.

Then I walked over to the Palace itself, and gave 500of my precious coins, and I felt...healthyer, and totally ready to find the last one that was located at Vivec. After reading in the pilgrims path, I discoverd that I had to search in the puzzle channel, o great wandering in the sewers...just my thing.

I resisted the urge to vomit, as I enterd the filthy waters of the third level in the puzzle channel, and just out of lucky guessing I had chosen the right place to enter. In the middle of the walkway between the two drains, there was a grate that lead into a large room. I walked up to the platform in the middle of the room, but I saw that to come to the place I was supposed to go, was blocked off by a powerfull magical barricade, so I searched in the pilgrims path for some clues, it only stood.

CODE
To enter the room of Krazzt, thou must prove thy fath in thy lord, by breathing the waters of his mercy
. If I was supposed to listen my Telvanni paranoia, I believed the book suggested that I drowned myself....well, what does one not do only to have something to do.

I dived into the waters, and held my breath, after a little pursuading, I blew out, and all air dissapeared from my lungs. I heard the sound of a stone bridge scraping onto stone, and threw my head above the waters, and breahted the in the air of live. The magical barricade was now empty, and so I levitated up. This hall was enormous, and could easily have my tower standing in upright position, and still have room for more. When I entered the room of the dremora Krazzt, I knew that I was supposed to give him a silver longsword, and I suspected thaat there was one in that chest, standing beside him. True enough, there was not one, but four of them, so I just grabbed them all, and gave one to him.

-"Thanks mortal, you have shown valour, to an enemy and given him a chance to defend yourself, now read the shrine inscription, to fulfill your task".

I read the insciption, and recieved the blessing, and when I was going to swim out again, I knew that I had been given a swift swim blessing. Next on the list was to the fields of kummu, so I stopped in on an apothecary before running in the air to reach the fields. While I was nearly there, I realised with a shock that the levitate spell stopped working, it had been finished. True enough I was over the water, but the force of the impact made me loose my breath, and I managed to swim ashore(barely). I took a few minutes to settle down, and relaxe before trying to find this shrine. I found it after searching for about an hour, and dropped off the muck that it demanded, and read the inscription.

Next one, Ghostgate, since the shortest way was from Ald Rhuun, I translocated there, and went out on the long hike. My trip there was...uneventfull, unless you count about two cliffracers, I finally stood in the temple of Ghostgate.

-"Exuse me sera", I asked the woman closest to me. "Where is the pilgrimage shrine, I need to fullfill the seven graces"?.

-"Ah, you're a new member aye, the shrine is inside the ghostfence, just walk up, untill you come to a fork in the road that turns to the right, then you should be ok".

I thanked her, and headed out, in the nast storm that was breewing up, and walked insed the Red Mountain area. I do not know how long I had been walking, and sometimes even climbed up the hills of this cursed volcano, all I know was that I had not seen this fork, due to the storm, I could only see three maby four feet in front off me...luckily this also hid me from whatever nasty creatures that was out there.

I suddenly fell forwards, and must have hit my head, beacuse when I woke up, I felt blood flowing slowly from the left side of my head. The storm had eased, and I could see a large crater filled with bubbling lave, merely feet from me, so that explained the heat. I rose up, and picked up my weapon tha was laying on the ground, but then I realised what weapon it was.....

-"Telina, you must listen to me, allow me to make you powerfull, to fill you up with powers to terrible to imagine, I...."

-"SHUT UP", I yelled to the sword, who stopped talking. Looking at it, I realised this blade was to powerfull and terrible to be allowed in the hands of others. I looked at it again, and threw the Umbra blade with all of my force into the big lava pool in the middle of the crater.

Feeling rather good at what I had just done, I backtracked my way down to ghostgate again, I felt rather stupid, as I saw the fork the temple woman had talked about, was about some onehundred paces away from the gate, but well, finally it was time to finish this damned quest, so I dropped of a soul gem, read the inscription, and transported myself to Suran, as I had some unattended buisness there. I walked over to the spot where Umbra had died. His corpse was still there, and after stripping him of his armour, I made a burial mound, and paid my last respects to this powerfull warrior.

When I arrived at Tel Delvanni, I saw that construction had started on some houses around my own Tel, and after giving a few nods to the workers, I walked into my house. When I entered the kithcen, I saw manilias sitting on a chair, while Ciralinde, was trying to fix his arm, with a wery unsucsessfull attemts, he had a large gush in his arm, but it did not seem to serious, so it was a simple matter for me to heal it, with some good restorative spells.

-"Thanks Ser Delvanni", he muttered. "I have been visiting various dwemer ruins, thats how I got this last wound here". So together, I have managed to collect two dwarwen claymores, two spears, maces, shortswords, one hallbeard, three war axes, one battle axe, one hammer, and something that must be considered as a real artefact, I have found two dwemer longswords, they are considered as unexisting, but I managed to find them".

-"I have also collected a little fortune for you in dwemer coins, about ninehundred of them, so tomorrow, if you so wish, I can teach you in dual wielding shortswords, but you will also have many hours with strength training".

I just stood there dumbfounded, he had spent one day and found so many dwemer artifacts. I dropped the orcish armour on the floor, and told him that it belonged to him, as did the dwemer weapons, and so I would only use them for training, untill I found my own. I ate my supper in silencec, thinking of what I had done this day, I had moved onto the part of the temple, possibly for having a wish to belong to a religion, faith call it watever you want, and I had also disposed of, and hopefully destroyed one of the most powerfull swords in history...not a bad day. I thanked Ciralinde for the food, and went back to bed again.

Ok, so I hoped you will enjoy this one. Oh and thanks for coming back Kiln, I hope you decide to finish your story after all, as it is one of my favourites. It's good to see you back again.
jack cloudy
Busy day, eh? I really liked the update. Though I still wonder just where he found all that Dwemer stuff.
Tellie
Well,I finally managed to pursuade my doctor to be allowed to write on a computer, as I had a work accident, and am now writing with elleven stitches in my hand...but you lot are worth it.So please enjoy.

When I woke up the following morning, The breakfast was already waiting for me…some baked bread, and scrib jerky. I stepped outside a bit, and there Manilian was training already…it was six in the morning, and already he was outside running in a full set of Orcish armour, geered up to the teeth with dwemer weapons, and he was running dodging, doing rolls jumps and fighting invisible opponents, I saw that this was a man who had been greatly admired and respected, his shape was unquestionable and refined, and his skills with the blade, was…well just spectacular.

-“Good morning Manilian, are you ready to give me my training lessons”?, I asked him with a joking kind of voice.

-“Oh yes, Telina, I’m ready…the question is, are you ready…we wont take any breaks before noon”, ok, so he was going to train me non-stop for six hours…definitely he had been a good legioneer.

I realised that when he meant training, he wanted me to come into shape first…I had always considered me as a woman in tip top shape, he proved me wrong. We spent three hours just running around my land, and after that it was into the obstacle course he had prepared for me. Over and over again, I went through the course, swinging from ropes held by pillars standing high up, jumping over walls and other obstacles, crawling under thorn bushes, being held about some fifteen inches over the ground. It was the hardest day I have had in my life, and when we had the first brake I was ripped up by thorns, my clothes was in shreds and I had dirt and dust all over me, sweat running down my face…while he was merely having a little shade of pink in his cheeks. I had to admit that there was no way I could have any hopes in defeating this man for the next years, but maybe one day I would be able to best him in duel.

After ten minutes, the brake was obviously over, and we went through the same program again, having another ten minute break every fifth hour, and when I went to bed that day, I felt….well just dreadful, I had trained for an entire day, and had aches all over me. The next day came without any mercy to me, and we spent the next day repeating the exercises done the day before, and again I went to bed full of aches…but I insisted to do this…I would become great, but in order to do that I had to get in shape. We spent two entire weeks doing this…day out and day in we trained, and slowly I found myself become even faster more enduring, and my strength had to increased by the ten folds…at least I felt that way. But what I needed was combat training, and magical training…sure I was handy enough when it came to daggers, and I knew some nasty spells, but still there was this little piece missing.

We spent another month training entirely with short blades…or the dwemer short blades to be correct. I became better and better, but although I was now a skilled fighter with the dwemer blades, I had still much to learn about the use of a blade…for all I knew there was ten different fighting techniques or styles some might call it, when it came to the dual wielding of short blades…I only learned two of them…the aggressive one called the blows of the wind. You concentrated on delivering a storm of hissing blade attacks, and it fitted me since I still lacked the brute strength most experienced fighters had, so I just liked that this style was about the use of speedy attacks to confuse or scare the enemy until he did a mistake…only then were you going to put in the death move.

The other one was mostly a parrying technique, while most fighters hold their guard around the torso area, this technique demanded that you held the blades high over your head in order to deliver strong parry’s or block’s and then give them a furious counterattack. This one required a bit more strength rather than speed, but I would manage. It took me nearly three months in total with training with short blades and the other training, before I felt confidant enough to use the techniques. I had decided that I wanted to stay away from Telvanni business for a while, and instead concentrate on helping the people by doing good…and what would fit more than continue on my path within the temple. I had received a Dunmer woman named Raina Assemaras, a lawman of the house, she had been hired by Llunela Hleran to be the manager of my stronghold, so I could concentrate on other things. I had also been given a hooded Telvanni cloak, as all cloaks made to represent a house, it was dark brown with golden symbols on it, Mine told the name of the house, my name, and my rank in the house.

So after telling my employees goodbye, I left for Balmora, but it was quite rainy there, and I was in the mood for a drink, so I entered the eight-plates to have a little “something”.

-“Bartender, give me a glass of mazte fast”, I said without removing the hood.

-“As you wish…Telvanni”, he muttered.

I sipped my mazte, and happened to overhear a conversation between the mers opposite me. “Oh yeah…I heard that it was an argonian that killed Hlaalo, not a Dunmer…I mean would a faithful mer kill one of his own people…I think not”, one of them said.

I gave out a snort of laugh, and turned my head towards them…..”Not kill one of their own, I think you have miscalculated a little bit there serjo…here on this bloody island you have to watch your back from your own brothers, I hardly think that the Dunmers would not kill other Dunmers…if they had the right contacts”.

-“Hey, Telvanni, let me give a good advice….SHUT UP”.
“Wait amoment…Telina Delvanni, I heard that Larrius Varro up at the fort wishes your aid on a matter…but he did not wish to tell what it was”.

I drunk up my mazte, and left the building after paying a huge amount of “extra gold”. So this Varro wanted me…could it be about me killing that guard and escaping that time…or was it something else. I said some words that wont fit in here due to the language , but I used the time walking up to the temple, cursing many a thing that was under imperial rule.

I finally came to the temple…but sadly they did not have anything for me to do…but I could always check up in Ald Rhuun for a mission there, so I shrugged, and spoke the cantrip that would take me there

Ok, so that was all for today.,..but I will write more in the closest future...friday that wouldbe...I think:unsure:.

yay update smile.gif ive been waiting to see what happens and this is very good.

Yep, it is a good update. Only now you have just pounded any chance Luper might have stood in the Clash of the Titans into the ground. Oh well, as if I care. Now he can only lose with honour.
Tellie
Heh jacky...never say never...Telina isntmuch of a dirty trick user....so Oasis might still have a chance...and still...who knows, maby he will get powerfull as well...you'll never know...

But the update wiullcome either today or tomorrow....just informing..heh heh:D
Tellie
Ok....here we go, I have taken another liberty, and done what some of us may have wanted to do always.

I felt the normal dizzyingly sensation, that came with magical transportation. As I walked the great steps of Ald Rhuun, I noticed how soldiers stalked me, while citizens shied away from me…I drew my hood over my head again, and entered the temple. I found the Mer in charge…Tuls Valen, was only to happy to see me back, and was quite impressed that I had managed to advance so fast and far within House Telvanni…most people would had been killed long before that time.

-“So Telina, you wish to do further assignments for our gracious lord, aye”?
-“Well, certainly”, I said, ”I have found a new meaning with life…I wish to use my position, to help people”, I shall admit that at that stage, it was merely flattery, so that I could gain more power, but I did change my view after some time, in the temple.

-“Well, in that case, I wish you to follow the path of lord Vehk”. “Lord Vehk, often shoved compassion for his enemies, so I want you to travel over to the daedric shrine Maelkashishi, and cure the orc, named Bulfim gra-Shugarz from ash cancre”.

-“So I have prepared this potion that will cure her, but it would be preferable if you came back with it, as we need it for others who might have the same sickness”.

I ensured him, that I would return the day after, with the potion. I reckoned that since I actually did not know any spells, that cured diseases, I had to learn some, and I was lucky that I remembered I had set an earlier mark at Arvs-Drelen, so I recalled back there, to have a little chat with Baladas, and possibly get to know a few more spells. Baladas, was quite delighted to see me, and told me of the rough week he had been through. He had run into some troubles with the Redorans, who had gotten so bold, that they had snuck into Arvs-Drelen undercover, and tried to kill him.

It was then I realised that he had gotten himself some new carpets, it actually looked like…no, it could not be. On the floor there was two new carpets, woven into the fine fabrics, there was whole human bodies, drained from all that was inside…only the skin remained, and they even had their clothes on still…sometimes I did not understand Baladas, he was sometimes…off, but still, I forced myself not to think about those cowards, and led the conversation in on my mission instead.

And well, true enough, he could learn me a few spells, but first I had to do a little insignificant chore for him…yea, this was after my guesses something about the dwemer…he was obsessed with them.

-“You see Telina, recently in the Gnisis egg-mine, there was discovered a dwemer door, naturally the imperials have been unable to open the door yet, so I want you to beat them in the race, note your location on a map, and bring the map back tome…together we shall explore the ruin”.

I of course accepted it at once…I had never been inside a dwemer ruin before…this one would not be the last one though.

I walked up to the egg-mine, and found it blocked by a guard, he found it only to good to not open the door for such a nice lady…but only after seeing the hundred septims I held in my hand. This land was pathetic sometimes, all people seemed friendly after the susceptible amount of “extra” cash.

The egg-mine, stank of sweat and…eggs, it would be long before I would eat kwama eggs again. I walked further into the mine, and found a wooden door, somewhat to my right. At this point all the miners I had encountered, had been very friendly, the guard inside was not, however, and he gave me virtually three seconds to get the hell out of there…but what shall I say, I happened to wear the Monarch on me at that time, a quick draw, and a swing that stopped right before his throat, made him find out that he had come to the wrong conclusion…clearly it was a mistake, how could he forget that I was here to have my sleep…he was as pathetic as the other guards that existed in this town.

I walked further into the mine, and found a underground stream, and something else I noticed, was the oil pouring along with the water, so I walked my way to the right, and true enough, I found the dwemer door. The lock was a simple matter, to the might of my new ring that Baladas gave me for this mission, it opened with a large creak, and I walked in. The room was…empty, no living things, but I did see something that looked like a type I animacule.

I did however find some dwemer airship plans, and also a book named “Hanging Gardens”. I was disappointed, most of the ruin was blocked by a rockslide, that would be impossible to remove…unless you had something powerful to remove it with. I notated down my position on the map, made a mark, and, went back to Arvs-Drelen.

Me and Baladas, quickly transported ourselves to my mark, and he looked at the rockslide with first a little disappointed look, then he gave out a wide smirk.

-“Telina, step back to the entrance, while I set this up”, he took out something that laid inside a small Satchel, and then, he threw a little fireball at it, from where I stood. The Explosion, was ear crushing, and I got blasted off my feet. When I managed to raise myself up again, I saw Baladas standing, soot all over his face…he was laughing more than I have ever seen him laugh, he pointed his hand towards the rockslide….

The rocks were gone, and now the entrance down into the rest of the ruin was opned. I followed Baladas, down the ruins, we encountered a few type II animacules, and one type III animalcule, but they were easily put to “sleep”, by Baladas. Finally after what seemed like an eternity, we came to the first room there actually was something in, tonnes upon tonnes of books, on the strange metal that the dwemer used. I looked at Baladas, who looked at me, the glee in our faces must have been titanic…here we stood in a large dwemer library, of course, we got a little disappointed when we realised that the books was written in dwemeric.

Baladas, almost came close to kissing me…which he thankfully didn’t, after half an our. I shouted for him to come, as I had found a book here, that I could read, but it had only a lot of words in it. He read the book, and with a trembling voice he explained tome, that I had found the first, and possibly the only dwemer dictionary, it was translated into ancient dunmeri, but I could still understand it. I was nearly as exited as he was, as I was a fellow linguist myself. We spent quite some time, trying to read the big and heavy book, but we decided that it had to wait.

I told Baladas that I would check the last room, located behind the library. I don’t think he actually noticed that I talked to him, he was to exited to notice, so I opened the last door, and stood there paralyzed, for maybe several minutes, after seeing what I saw. I looked into a large armoury, full of weapons, armour, and other effects. There was also many hundred pounds of this satchels that Baladas had used to clear the opening with. In a corner, there was several chest’s and cog’s, that was filled up to the limit by dwemer coins, and also emerald’s diamond’s and ruby’s. Me and Baladas decided to share everything, he was even kind enough to give me a ring that would transport me to this library.

We spent countless of hours down there, and I was starting to learn the dwemer language, although I could only say a few sentences and words. But we realised that sooner rather than later the imperials would have gotten their exerts shipped over here to break in, and confiscate everything, we could not let that happen, so we blocked the path again, with more rocks, and Baladas was in such a good mood, that he put an enchantment on the entrance door, that when anyone touched it, some twenty Storm Atronachs would be summoned….those imperials were up for a rough time.

We had almost been in there for a day, when we got back to Arvs-Drelen, and I bade Baladas goodnight, before I collapsed on the bed that had used to be mine.

Well, that was it, no more Telina today...but more will come, as you all know.
minque
Hehe very amusing! Our Telina knows her ways, dealing with things! And those carpets!!! Ewww.....honestly!

Your frequent updating give me no chance of commenting as much as I really want to! But by all means don´t let that stop you.....

Very good work Tellie!
goodjob.gif A jona for your efforts!
Kiln
Ah, I just caught up Tellie and it seems that the character has calmed down a bit and by a short reference you gave it would appear that the temple will have even more of an effect on the character later on. I can't wait to see how things turn out. Update soon.
Tellie
So, since Telina is starting on a whole new path now...the Tribunal Temple actually, this is the last update, of the second chapter, which is now complete. The first update at chapter three will come soon enough, meanwhile, I hope everyone enjoyed to read this chapter, as much as I enjoyed writing it, and reading your replies.

Thanks to all of you who replied, and all of you who haven't replied, but still read it.

As I walked towards the ruin Maelkashishi, I pondered on what I should do with my life. I had come quite far in house Telvanni, and had now started on the temple, but still, when I had done what I could, what should I do?

I had walked for several hours, before I stood before the mighty ruin. Oh damn, Tulsa had not told me that it was a daedra ruin…I hated those ruins. The tall teeth looking spires, the large domes, all the funny angles and ovals, they just gave me the creeps…always. I spent a liuttle time searching for entrances, I found two of them…great now I even had to choose what scary door I had to go into…great, just my luck.

I went for the door that stood higher over the ground…my bad. I had just entered before I stood face to face with a creature, I had heard about. The winged nightmares was supposed to be some of the most dangerous creatures in the mundus, and here I stood with my nose, merely inches away from it.

-“OH SH”, it attacked me with huge rendering claws, and I felt my left pauldron get clawed of. “IT”; I screamed, and backed away from the creature. I looked behind it…hmm several quite spiky things on the opposite platform, hmm that’s an idea. I jumped to the side, and ran all I could towards the edge of the platform I stood on, and turned around. The daedra came flying towards me with ferocious speed, and the screams was amongst the most vicious I have ever endured. Just before it reached me, I dropped to the floor, and waited for the result. It realised that it came flying towards some VERY large and sharp spikes, a little to late, and I became quite satisfied when I heard the meaty thud, that comes when something sharp penetrates soft flesh.

I stood up again, and looked down, the hall that was below me was quite empty of, at least human life, the only thing that was down there was a bit to many daedra for my taste. I was about to go out and try the other entrance when my curiosity came back, the platform opposite me had some VERY intriguing stairs that led to a chamber higher up. I looked over, it looked as I could make the jump, a little jump potion made sure that I made the jump in safety. I might have mentioned before that I have a very destructive curiosity, well this time I was rewarded actually. In the chamber at the top, I found a daedric longbow, eight daedric arrows, and two dwemer short swords that was enchanted, one it seemed had a paralyzing spell, the other would do poison…ah a perfect fit for me, in other words.

After backtracking my way to the other entrance, I finally found the orc.

-“What are you doing here scum”?, so she was not to happy to see me.

-“I’m here to treat you from your disease”, I chanted the words of the cure blight spell, and I saw the face of the orc lighten up. “This is where I’ll be going I said, as I noticed all the members inside the ruin was now enclosing on me with weapons drawn.

-“Oh no I think not”, she said. “We need human sacrifice to give to our lord Molag Bal”, she smiled with a psycho grin at me, and slowly started to unsheathe her sword.

Of the fight inside that ruin, I’d rather not talk about, since the memories of the mindless slaughter that happened that day, still hunts me. What I can say though is that the Monarch and I managed to persuade the members, only the orc was spared, since I was supposed not to kill her.

I paralyzed her, and marked my location. Then I took on my new ring, and found myself in the dwemer library…I was not surprised to find Baladas there, and he was more that willing, to let me take some of the highly explosive satchels with me. Then I translocated me back to the ruin, since the orc was now standing, I had to paralyze her again. While she was still paralyzed, I tied he up to a pillar on the outside, and walked back in.

After studying the architecture for a while, I started to place the satchels at key pillars and supporting beams, this took me nearly seven hours, and I was happy with the result though, when I stood outside with the orc, and lighted the fuse. I was ready this time, so I closed my ears, but was still blasted off my feet when the explosion came. The whole ruin collapsed, and big parts of the mountain it was standing in with it. Well no more nefarious practises in that ruin at least, I told myself.

I took hold of the orc, and spoke up the Almsivi intervention spell, that I had on a scroll. A quick swoop, and we were standing in the temple in Ald Rhuun. Tuls was impressed after hearing what I had done, and grateful for me “cleansing” the unholy shrine. He gave a quick handmotion, and the orc was taken below, to “repent her sins”, meanwhile me and Tuls, had a splendid dinner, on which I got advanced to Initiate, and given one of the normal brown robes you get in every faction. I bade him farewell, and travelled back to my stronghold, on where I hung up my Telvanni robe in my closet, and took on the Temple one instead.

The day had been long, and I fell asleep while I was reading one of my books…or so I believe..

End of Chapter 2.
Taillus
Oh my lord... Taillus will not be happy when he hears about this one. Nice work though and I really like Telina's way of working. She really is a thinker for sure. I can't wait to begin reading chapter three! Keep up the good work Telle and for ending the chapter in the great fashion that you did. I award you the Tai award of chapter's closing. cake.gif

PS - It is not from Taillus himself so no worries about it being a Dai-cursed cake. tongue.gif

That was great. I loved the little "let it impale itself on pointy architecture". It's a classic! And a big explosion to end the chapter, great job!
