NWN... Now there's a game I should dig up once again.
Maybe I'll even get to finish that first module of mine.
Where's that game box again...

Hehe... I dug it up under my bed I think :embarrassed: I never finished it, I'll think I'll stick to that for a while, having something to do..
How long did u get Rane, I played around 20 hours, never got anywhere... Still in Waterdeep in some tomb full of monsters, I really sucked on that game but I think I'll do pretty good now!
Edited By Sinder Velvin: I removed something from your post.

Umm.. I played through the NWN Original Campaign about 5 times and both of the expansions at least 10 times. :paperbag:
After that I started downloading a bunch of modules, played through them, altered them a bit and played through them again.
Then I found a nice server with a really good community and stayed there for some months.
So I played NWN for a long time.

Could I get some help? I logged into elder scrolls just now and it said my account was suspended. Could someone log on and search for doomedone in the user list then give me my latest posts because I have absolutely no idea what this was for.

It was not deleted, only suspended. It must have been suspended for an error, I've been twice as respectful on those forums as what is considered the norm. I've seen flamers go on for weeks responding in stupid ways to every post. There has to be an error, unless my account was hacked or something.

Hehe... Played NWN for around 1 and a half hour, its addictive.. Came pretty long, having a hard time beeing alone Paladin/Fighter lvl 3 and already killed 3 Bloodsailor Leuitnants..

Hehe, good game - the single-player was a bit meh in my opinion but there are some really good mods for it out there (Arandie), plus the expansions are pretty good

And a DM mode is priceless, of course.
Have fun!

Jun 8 2005, 04:11 PM
Yeah... I think its OK, but its only combat... Thats what I dont like, would rather have some other kind of missions, but what do I know.. Play it for the second time and I'm only running around under in the Bloodsailors Hideout looking for the creatures
I looove the DM Mode, I've also used those Aurora landscape(etc) thing alot on some of my D&D Campaigns..

The beginning of the NWN campaign is very crappy. But later on it gets much better.
If you really want good storylines, though, you should play its two expansion packs. They're much better.

Hordes of the Underdark was disappointing in its plot, though I liked the new prestige classes and super items. And mephistopholes was easy! All I did was tell him to go away...

Undrentide was nice though - I like deserts and ruins

It was also the nicest graphically of them all. HotU, especially the last part was largely retextures in fact, if I remember right

I've enver watched the show but it appears to be a bunch of people trapped on an island. Sort of like a real but fake survivor.

Jun 10 2005, 09:36 PM
it's way better han Survivor. for one thing they are the survivors of a horrific plane crash
Fuzzy Knight
Jun 11 2005, 12:07 PM
And there is something really scary about this place too... People have been killed and some french people had been trapped on the Island before and curses and all that stuff... Spooky!

Oh well, I guess there'll be no cake for the server then. Hmm, perhaps I could try eating the cake myself then. Still, last time I ate cake...
