QUOTE(Andrea @ Apr 10 2012, 04:52 PM) *

Hello everyone!

I'm Andrea, and I'm so happy to be part of the community! I'll be honest, I'm very new to Oblivion (6 months) but that doesn't change the fact that i absoloutly LOVE this game!

I heard about these forums from a dear friend who is also on the forums (mentioning no names as I fear I might embarass them tongue.gif)

Eventually I want to write the story of my Character, Jessika Andrea, but untill I'm ready I'm going to have a BALL reading through your wonderful stories!

Surprisingly, Jessika is my perma-character. About a month into my Oblivion journey I had a dream about this beautiful, blonde nordic woman. She was so enchating and fierce, I learned that she was BORN to be in Oblivion! I haven't played anyoone else since. She's become a part of me, and I hope that shows in our eventual story!

Anyway, enough from me and my overexcited rambling!

My final word. EEEEP! biggrin.gif

Welcome Andrea! I've played Oblivion since 2006, and still remember clearly my first six months of playing the game - it was a defining moment in my lifetime, that is for sure! I hope you enjoy it here, and can't wait to hear more about Jessika Andrea!

Thank you mALX! Jessika has had quite a troubled past, a past which she has told me all about during our travels. She lost her parents at an early age and was forced to raise her younger sister on her own. She is complex and intresting, and she's very dear to me.

I can't wait to get started, but not until i get myself aquainted with all your stories first smile.gif

Hi I'm Chris or better known by my online alias of 'Santa'.

I'm excited to have found this community earlier today whilst browsing the wide and wonderful internet, I stumbled upon a thread about Skyim roleplaying ideas and I knew then I wanted to be a part of this community.

I started the Elder Scrolls Series after playing Fallout 3, (and loving, immensely) I spotted the game of the year edition of Oblivion in my local Game and knowing it was another Bethesda game and a sandbox RPG at that I decided to get. A couple of hours later when I returned home and booted up my console, I skipped or rather fought for every bitter inch through the starting dungeon. Upon reaching the outside world I was captivated by the sheer beauty. Long story short I became totally immersed in the game and found myself wandering aimlessly around the expansive world, finding villages and cities teeming with life and abandoned buildings which more often than not contained hints as to what happened to it's previous owners.
I do still play Oblivion and when I play it I am once again drawn into it, but I have also fallen in love with Skyrim although my love is not as deep as for Oblivion or Fallout 3. I'm very interested in roleplaying in the game and that along with gleefully exploring every last inch of the wilderness is what takes up the majority of my gaming time.
I hope to at some point chronicle the journeys of one of my characters, but for now I shall be content with reading through and enjoying everything this lovely forum has to offer.

Welcome! Your bio sounds remarkably like mine except I played Oblivion first and bought Fallout 3 because it was made by the same people who made Oblivion, lol. Hope you enjoy Chorrol.com!

Blimey!!...Sorry mate...Missed that you'd said hi... biggrin.gif ...

Hey there!!...Welcome...Enjoy!...

Was an Oblivion to Fallout meself...Never entirely sure which of the three (may be four with NV but it's not entirely Bethesda) I like most... biggrin.gif ...They're all brilliant...

My IRL name is James; I've also been known by the pseudonyms Crimea River and PSJJJJelly.

I've been a huge Elder Scrolls fan since...11 November 2011. xD. I had Oblivion a while back and played it but didn't really get into it; Skyrim is what got me into the series and ever since, I have been immersed in it. Going back, and playing Morrowind, Oblivion, some of Battlespire, and a bit of Daggerfall are probably the reasons I haven't gotten all that far in Skyrim (besides the Faction Quests, and Main Quest) and because my gaming rig is currently at home, leaving me with my laptop which will play Skyrim but...extremely slowly (but seriously, where have those games been all my life?!?!?!).

I love the Elder Scrolls world, and the lore, as well as the whole metaphysics element (things such as CHIM and the Dreamsleeve. That sort of thing! My favourite obscure text is et'Ada, Eight Aedra, Eat the Dreamer).

Anyway, tons of rambling there...

About me! I'm an Asian Studies/Communication major, currently studying at UNCG. I will be going to Japan to study abroad for a year in Fall of 2013. I'm 24 years old (not a graduate student, though...I transferred from community college). I'm addicted to the Internet, and am on it a LOT. (And I recently discovered how to use Tumblr. Oh gods). I've been roleplaying for about 10-11 years by forum. Currently, I roleplay Animorphs, Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, and some Star Trek. I have a ton of interests, but tend to be fixated on things. I love to draw, though I don't think I'm good at it. *flops* Anyway, this intro has gotten long enough, lol. happy.gif

And now as I usually do when joining a new forum... *saunters off to find the Rules thread*

Welcome, Aysh Vee! The community here is much cozier and supportive than that other forum. Here you will find several members who migrated here a couple of years ago after that infamous reformatting of the other forum which made it unreadable for many of us.

As for me, I tend to be a bit more anal about correct spelling and word usage than most. But unless I'm invited to do so, I tend to avoid such criticism in my responses to others' fan fics. Yet I welcome it in my own, as it has gone a long way toward improving my writing. Don't feel the need to read my current fan fic - it is well over 350,000 words and counting. I'd suggest you wait until I start the new one, hopefully within the next couple of months.

I will keep an eye out for yours when you feel ready to begin posting. I am not yet sure if I will reply, but be sure I will be reading! Time commitments keep me from replying to as many fan fics as I would like. But I promise that if I do, to keep my replies constructive!

Hey DD here. Love Skyrim... Can't stop playing it. Starting to get more into the RPing aspect of the game now.

Accidentally did it with a character of mine, had a blast with it, and it started with something stupid.

About to start up a new character and do a pure RP game (on i hope master)... Turn off the HUD, no 3D map allowed, eating, drinking, use of clothes, ect. and just go full out.

But was looking for maybe a little inspiration, so here I am.

Side note:

I'm 31. Gaming since the beginning of NES. From and currently live in Ohio. Moving back to New York soon. I love metal (Old school only), love classical/symphony as well... That's what made this personally probably one of the absolute best game scores I've ever heard...

Not shy at all. Don't be afraid to ask

Oh, well thank you! I appreciate the welcome! I love message boards, and it's been a while since I've been on one. The ones I'm usually on aren't active for more than a few weeks. Then they join Forum Limbo.

Well, I'm Elisabeth, I'm the mother of a two year old boy who has an affinity for finding chocolate...(I just gave him a peanut butter sandwich and he came back covered in chocolate. yes, it's actually chocolate. I checked XD)

Currently I'm on my third playthrough of Skyrim. Oblivion was the second game of the Elder Scrolls franchise I played(wasn't impressed with Morrowind) and I played 500 hours in the game. Don't..say...a word...

I haven't gotten the courage to write any fanfics yet. I want to though lol

You send them a personal message. There should be a liInk to the list of moderators on the board index, but if you can't find that link, you should go to the rules section of the forum and pm the moderator who posted the rules. Here, send a PM to Alexander

It really isn't necessary. Alexander doesn't seem to be around very much either, though I suppose he could be secretly lurking. emot-ninja1.gif If you really want to, I would ask minque. She is around the most often from what I've seen.

Honestly it isn't needed. KoB means well, but he hasn't been here for very long.
