I'm very tall- 20 years old, around 5'11"... and a girl Sometimes I appreciate my height, but most of the time it's a hassle. For more practical it is nice, but it sucks being taller then most guys.

I'm not as old as Zarrexaij and I'm 5.8 feet tall. Out of most my family (cousins, specifically) I'm about in third place in terms of hieght.... but the the two ahead of me are older by a few years. By the time I'm through growing I'll be (by my dad's estimate) six foot something. (I'm taller than both my parents).

Ah, genetics... I'm 8 inches (~19 cm, for you folks on the metric system) taller than my mother and sister. Of course, I'm maybe 2 inches shorter than my dad, so I'm not really a family outlier (I'm 6 feet tall, my dad is about 6'2'', and my uncles are pretty much within that range). Most of the men in my clan are close to 6 feet tall (~1.83 m), woman on my mother's side of the family are short-to-average in height, and things get messy on my dad's side of things.

Maybe you better reword that sentance to "I'm taller than my mother and sister by 8 inches (thats...)". Right now there is a 9 word gap after you say "I'm 8 inches" before reaching "taller"

Anyways, to stay relevant to the subject. I'm the tallest one in my immediate family. My father is actually the runt of the family now. It's amusing at times.

I like some tall women but I don't think I am attracted to them solely because they are tall. I think overall it is a slight disadantage for a woman but not a major one.

I....will very soon be the shortest in my family! My son (12) is approaching very fast, he´s about 5 cm shorter than me! I´m 1,70 metres.....NO, I do NOT know what it is in those weird units like feet and inches!

Same here. I'm one centimeter taller than my boyfriend. Luckily his shoes have rather thick soles, so no one every notices it. I can, however, never wear high heels. Not that I'd want to, anyway, but you never know. I'm around 6'1" I think, as I'm 183 cm tall. My whole family is tall though. My father, my uncles and my nephews/cousings are around 200 cm tall. My boyfriend often gets laughed at because he's so small compared to the men in my family.

Average height is very dependable upon the country you live in, but as I know where you come from, average height would be between 5'8" to 6'2" for adult males.

I'm 5' 7" closing in on 5' 8". In another post I took a guess and said 163cm, but now that sounds way off. So probably more like 168-169 or something. Personally I love my height. Nah, I'm just shorter than alot of people. It can be helpful, but a lot of the time it's just really annoying.

It makes me hard to see in a crowd, which is helpful when I'm trying to hide (a lot of the time ). At least I don't have the trouble of finding a guy who's taller than me because they all are! My friends have a lot of trouble with that sometimes.
