I certainly enjoyed our meet last night - it was the best meet I've ever had. I know others rely heavily on voice chat, however that has always left me out in the cold. Expecting someone to type and fight at the same time never seemed fair to me, either.

I appreciated having Grits along on the first couple of runs, but when we merged into one group, I appreciated Grits dropping out of the runs even more since that meant they were able to listen to the voice Discord and relay anything important to me without disrupting the run for my teammates. That worked really well.

Also thanks to mALX and to burnt for text chatting to me as well, making extra sure I got the pieces I really needed for that new build I'm eyeing for Maz. I'm happy that both mALX and I were able to get all the Pillars of Nirn pieces we both needed on NA - even right down to us both getting that last piece at the same time!

I absolutely LOVED having you at the Guild Meet last night! It has been so long since we have run together! My favorite memory was that Witches Festival when we both rode our hobby horses, and I think had our "Pet Rocks" out, lol.

Glad it all went well after I had to jet! Unfortunately, the thing I had to leave for was less fun, and in fact only served to p me off, so I wish I'd stayed! Lol.

Aw, well if it helps we wish you had stayed too!

Aww!

Next Guild meets coming up in a couple of days! Hope to see everyone smile.gif

(Yes, I've jumped in before you Ghastley, that's revenge for the sarcastic "use them" response to my treasure map query tongue.gif )

On a related note lol, does anyone know any way to see which treasure maps are useful? I have so many from the event on both servers, I'm seriously considering just mass destroying them...
Acadian
Buffy will be at the NA meeting on Tuesday.

I hope ghastley's trip allows him to go to the meetings.

Sorry, Burnt, don't know how to tell what treasure maps might give useful leads. Buffy keeps a few in her bank for endeavors but, otherwise, diligently does them the day she gets them because you're right - it's easy to build up an overwhelming number of them.
ghastley
Yes, I will be at the meetings, but I can only use my UK account, until ghastley.org is re-registered over here. That means no DLC access.

The base zone treasure maps have the chance of dropping leads for the Ancestral styles, Orc, Nord or Elf depending on where the chest is. They started doing more Ancestral styles for DLC zones, like Ancestral Reach, on the same basis, but not all have them yet.

And of course, my UK characters have been collecting DLC zone maps that they can't use. When the main account is back in action, I can probably mail them over to that. The ones they can use get used immediately, as inventory is precious without ESO+.
Grits
Jerric plans to be at both meetings. viking.gif
ghastley
I will still be on my no-DLC account for the meetings on Monday and Tuesday. But I now have tanks!

The movers finally arrive with my stuff from the US on Wednesday, so I may not be staying up too late for the NA meet. I will be there, but not until the small hours.
Acadian
ghastley, I bet you'll be glad to have your stuff delivered next week!

Buffy expects to be at the NA meet on Tuesday.
Burnt Sierra
Slightly smug Blackrose Prison Vanquishers! (Didn't need four people at all mALX biggrin.gif) Actually really enjoyed that, highly recommended Arena, absolutely burned through Enlightenment points, and managed to get Tanlorin up to 20 for Grits too!

Next Tuesday is the first of April, so the NA meeting is then.

Do we want to hold the EU one on Monday, or wait a week?

If possible, I would prefer to wait till the following week because I have that surgery Monday on my left eye. If you do it the following week I will be able to attend. (if no one minds waiting that week).

Acadian
Given that our guild is small and mALX has surgery next week, I'd be fine bumping both EU and NA a week out to April 7 and 8. That way, hopefully she can make both of them. smile.gif
Grits
That works for me. Good luck on Monday, mALX!
ghastley
OK, double bump it is. Meet on 7th/8th April, usual times.
Acadian
Urp, guests in town so getting to the NA meeting this evening looks doubtful. kvright.gif
ghastley
May ones coming up. Several of the Golden Pursuit tasks look like they could be saved up for the meetings, so I intend to avoid anything a group should do.

This month I'll be back (in best Arnold voice) on my main account with ESO+ and full DLC access, so of course all the Pursuits are in base game. tongue.gif

Of course! biggrin.gif

Please refresh my memory - it's EU on Monday and NA on Tuesday, and am I correct in thinking they start at 5 pm Central both days? I'm not sure if I will remember to be on for both, but if I am, I'd like to join in on the fun!
Acadian
Rider, you're right - Mon May 5 (EU) and Tue May 6 (NA). Both at 5 PM Central. smile.gif
ghastley
Much dungeon running was done, and I, Grits, Burnt, Rider and mALX now have 2 out of 3 for each of the listed ones for the GP, or thereabouts, as some had done more and I lost track. More dungeon running on EU may happen early in the day on the 6th.

Cibbi went to Obsidian Scar to train up her Ice Staff, and got enough bosses to complete the 25 for the house, but we'll run the dungeons if we're on.

Maybe we will run two teams on NA for maximum efficiency. Discussion at 23:00 BST, 5 PM CDT etc.

ETA: And that's what we did. Many Grand Galleries were acquired, and several dungeons worn out.
Acadian
Update 46 is a big one and comes out June 2. June's guild meetings are planned for Mon, Tues - June 2, 3 respectively. Do we want to jump right in or bump a week so we have a little time on our own to figure the update (subclassing, new zone) out?
ghastley
My personal opinion is not to wait. But it could be crowded on day one, depending on time of day.

I ran the whole zone on PTS to confirm that the new house that you can purchase for gold can be unlocked. You need to do a number of zone quests before you can buy. Some are hard to find, so a guide can help.

The Public Dungeon bosses are harder than usual. We may want to do those together. So soon after drop, they may be crowded, though. On PTS I was trying to solo. For the same reason, I did not engage the WBs.

I expect that mALX and I will have visited the crafting site and attuned tables well before the meetings. So we'll each have some wayshrines known, maybe all of them.
Burnt Sierra
Sub-Classing is going to take people quite a while to get their head around honestly. I've spent over 80 hours on the PTS testing different things, just on sub-classing. Ended up with a 42 page word document and a spreadsheet that makes me whimper, for different combinations.

(Edited out a lot of useless waffle lol)

My point, I swear I had one. Oh yeah, I don't think it matters whether we jump straight in or not, a week isn't going to be enough to get everyone's head around what are significant changes. Could be multiple short meet ups as and when needed if people need additional bodies to accomplish something? I'm easy though, no preference either way smile.gif
Acadian
I'm good with either option for the meets but it's looking like sticking with 2,3 Jun might be preferred. smile.gif

Agreed on not bumping it; I would prefer to get it on day one so there will be plenty of help for the WB's/etc.

I do know where the one accessible crafting set is, and do plan to get it as early as possible on the NA server. On the EU; I was just wondering if Ghastley needs any money/mats/etc. I will give whatever I have if it will help!

oh, I see me needing some help on that, urgh. Are they going to reset all our stats so we HAVE to reset them up again? Maybe I should take a screenshot of my build on Amiela just in case.

No, no need to panic, skills aren't reset automatically. You're also not forced to sub-class. If you like your character as they are, you don't have to change.

The way it works is you do a (very short) quest, and can then choose to drop one or two of your skill lines. So, with your Templar, you could keep Aedric Spear, but drop Dawn's Wrath and Restoring Light, and take one skill line from Necromancer and one from Nightblade (just as an example, not suggesting you do!).

If you wanted to keep 2 of your skill lines, and drop one for another, you can. If you want to keep all 3 as they are, and not bother with sub-classing at all, you can.

If you do choose to utilise sub-classing, you HAVE to keep one of your class skill lines minimum. If you wanted 2 skill lines from a particular class line, you HAVE to be that base class (i.e. if you wanted Aedric Spear and Dawn's Wrath, you HAVE to have picked Templar at character creation, if you want Daedric Summoning and Storm Calling, you HAVE to have picked Sorcerer at character creation etc etc)

The skill line/lines you drop, you get the skill points refunded that you'd previously spent, though sub-classed lines take double skill points to level (e.g. If you've picked Templar, then your Templar skills would level as normal, one point each. If you chose to sub-class a Nightblade skill line, the Nightblade skills and passives will take 2 skill points each)

It's a way of fine tuning your character is the best way of thinking about it. If you find you don't use one skill line, then rather than having a wasted line, you can swap it out for a skill line from another class that you would find useful.

Last night some of us were having a struggle finding the ninth Skyshard in Solstice. It was not on our maps. mALX found it!

The clue: Resting on the shore beneath a once-radiant Temple.

Here it is on the map.

Thanks, mALX!
