So you won't be traveling the wastes all alone anymore, mirocu - nice, everyone needs some company from time to time. I also like the icon replacer so not everything in PipBoy looks like common junk.
Renee, there are two great weather mods, one for FO3 and one for FNV, the first one is called Enhanced Weather and the second one is Nevada Skies. Both add a lot of features and are fully customizable. I don't use any of them, although I sometimes miss walking in rain, I'm still very satisfied with the vanilla weather.

Residents of Goodsprings thought that a courier that was shot in his head and buried alive, will pursue his attackers immediately - but no, this didn't happen, and the courier who called himself Jackknife, seemed satisfied in Goodsprings. At first they didn't trust him completely because some people said that they saw him snatching some maize in front of the general store and some other said they saw him drinking moonshine in Trudy's distillery at night but when he saved a life of one fellow resident, they realized that Jackknife can't be a bad person. When residents were interviewed by a passing reporter, working for radio New Vegas, here's what they said:
Trudy, a local bartender and town's mom:"Oh, he's a bit...unusual, so to speak. But he's friendly and seems harmless, not to mention that he saved one of our villagers from certain death. He has an odd accent and I can't figure out where he hails from but perhaps it's not an accent, you know...perhaps he's just a little bit too lazy to pronounce words as they should be."
Sunny Smiles, a hunter and town's protecor:"He's a funny chap. Seems real friendly to me. He helped me clear nearby water wells but he insisted on using a shovel instead of a rifle which I gave him. But yeah, he's real friendly and learns fast. He definitely didn't deserve to be shot in the head."
The reporter got a feeling that Sunny liked him more than she said because she was smiling while being interviewed.Easy Peter, a town's elder:"He's O.K."
Doc Mitchell, a town's doctor and the person responsible for saving his life:"He's alright, I'd say. His response in a psychology test were average but I'd say that's great after being shot and left for dead. Now I can't say anything more, you understand - medical ethics and such. Try and ask him yourself, he can be found in a trailer behind our saloon. And while you're there, stop at our saloon and have a drink at Trudy's."
Chet, a town's merchant:"It's a real shame that he wasn't interested in any of my great weapons, ammunition or even weapon mods. A real shame because nobody sells them as cheap as me. Instead he bought a shovel but hey, whatever suits him, I say, right? Still, it's a real shame that he didn't even look at all these great weapon mods in my selection. Well, he comes regularly, sometimes buys something to drink or eat, sometimes just some random junk, and hey whatever suits him, I say, but it's a real shame that he didn't bother to look at all these classy weapon mods."
But then one day Jackknife was gone. Trudy used to serve him a breakfast every morning but this morning he didn't show up. Sunny Smiles was used to chat with him about nearby areas and creatures but this morning he didn't show up. Easy Pete was used to have a smoke with him outside the saloon, telling stories about his life as a prospector, but this morning he couldn't share any stories. And Chet finally lost any hope about selling his great weapon mods.
A few miles south of Goodsprings, Jackknife was walking towards Primm. He heard about himself on the local radio, and got scared that his attackers might return and finish the job. Or that his employees might send mercs after him because he didn't complete the delivery. That's why it was better to move on, to Primm, to check in at the local Mojave Express Outpost and tell them about his attack. He never called any place home and Goodsprings was no exception. He never got too attached to people that he met on his travels, and Goodsprings was no exception.
The reponses don't actually appear in the game, I made them up, based on these characters' personalities. But the news about the courier that survived the headshot, actually do appear on the radio.
