Personally, I always preferred the sequel. I actually played that first, and totally fell in love with the Jedi Sentinel.

Which really hurt when I eventually got hold of KotOR.

Yeah guess so as he's the leader of the Imperial Remnant (yes, Khajiit can still call them that ). Maybe with the senate being in a state of chaos after the Starkiller attack the Remnant will reassert their dominance over the Galaxy, crowning Snoke as Emperor?

I am watching it now. I recognized Bo-Katan in the first, and I see her here as well. That is Saw Gerrera in the hologram saying "If you continue to allow this war to be fought on the Empire's terms, you are going to lose." And I see his buddy the creepy alien with the breath mask from Rogue One is there.

And a Tie Defender! I saw a couple of those in the first trailer. Tarkin mentions Krennic and his project - Stardust. That alien Thrawn sends after Hera must be Rukh, his Noghri bodyguard. X-Wings!

All the paths are coming together.

Now if I'm correct this next season is Rebels last?

Season Four is the final season. It is supposed to lead directly into the events of Rogue One.

The Ghost in is Rogue One. You can see it when the Rebel Fleet comes out of hyperspace over Scarif. Before that on Yavin, right after the big debate the Alliance had over attacking or surrendering - Jyn walks from the briefing room into the Hangar. You can hear General Syndulla being called over the PA. So Hera was there at Scarif. How many others in the crew? There is no telling.

I wonder if we might see some of the Rogue One characters in the final episodes of Rebels? Like Cassian Andor or K-2SO? That would be cool. Maybe it was The Ghost that flew Cassian to meet that other Rebel spy at the very beginning of Rogue One? Or maybe they were the transport for the team that broke Jyn out of prison?

Chopper survives up until R1 too — while Hera is mentioned, the little droid actually appears. You can see him strolling in the Yavin base during one scene. As for the rest, well, I remember D-Boy the Felon saying that he wants to? might? make the old bearded guy seen in the Battle of Endor to be Rex. I'm personally up for that, but I'm not sure if Clones with their accelerated aging can live that long.

On the topic of R1 Characters making cameos, well, I just want my Stardust. I'm not really too knowledgeable about the timeframe when Jyn and Saw broke up and how it fits with Rebels, but it'll be cool to see her running around with his Partisans in the last season.

Sadly the timelines do not match up. Saw abandoned Jyn when she was 16. So that is at least a decade before Roge One & A New Hope. By this time in Rebels, Jyn is in prison, and has been for years.

I really wanted to see Jyn get more screen time but oh well. I'm going to have to cross my fingers and settle for a cameo of my second favorite character(s): Baze and Chirrut.

There is a Jyn novel, and a Baze & Chirrut one. Both were really good. Though the Jyn one was understandably dark and depressing in nature.

I just looked Jyn up on Wookiepedia, and she was only 21 when she died on Scarif. So Saw abandoning her would have been 5 years before the Battle of Yavin. Which would be roughly one year before Rebels began.

She's ... Forever 21, huh?

I don't know which is sadder, my joke or that fact. 21 though. Damn that is so depressing.

I'll have to look up those books you mentioned, see if my local bookstores have 'em.

I bought both as Ebooks. They are Rebel Rising and Guardians of the Whills. They came out in the last six months or so.
