Good and Evil don't exist. My character will probably be a bit of a loner. He has seen the worst of humanity and lost fate. And there is something about some guy who looks a bit evil. So he will be a sneaky, backstabbing unsocial guy who prefers to blast opponents with stuff as blind, paralysis and fatigue damage before finishing the job with a sword. But he'll still do a good thing from time to time. After all, I can't let those Daedra ruin that beautiful forest!
Bofra
I think I never played an evil character in any RPG I can remember, I just find it hard to "role-play" as pure evil. However I tend to start off quite neutral to leave as many options open as possible to explore the game. But I'll usually end up being the kind hero that helps an old lady get her cat back from a tree. laugh.gif
Sirin
i've said it once, i'll say it again: i like being good better. but in oblivion, the vastness of your options will probably make me opt for evil biggrin.gif
Million
wink.gif Its kinda hard not to be evil. Since I steal stuff alot and I kill people for their houses. biggrin.gif
Sirin
but mind you, you filthy hedonistic sinner you (joking, by the way), you can buy your OWN house, or say they so (they might be deceiving us biggrin.gif ) so there's no need to kill people for their's!!
Passsie
i will be a GOOD ... thief biggrin.gif

Stealing soent mean i`m bad person... as long i dont kill anyone biggrin.gif
Curly_G_
I have a neutral character and an Evil character planned, but I doubt I'll stay in the boundaries when I get a good offer.
xycolian
I will be very evil. evil to the degree in which i wear the full set of daedric armor (which makes me look utterly evil evillol.sml.gif) and I will also outfit my evil, war-going steed with a full set of daedric horse armor (which makes look even more utterly evil evillol.sml.gif). I will also slay people where they are standing if i overhear them talking to one-another about how weird or dumb they think i am. if anybody runs to the guards and tells the guards where i am when i have a high bounty on my head i will make sure to slay the person who told on me to the guards before i do anything else. evillol.sml.gif
Toidi.Loof
Im sort of confused i want to be good but i like the dark brotherhood. I think ill play it evile at first and then convert to the good side biggrin.gif
Dark one
There is no good or evil. There is just balance. Ill be the protector of the balance. ( No MAN !!! Ill be pure evil )
Ola Martin
My pc is both I gues, I meen, I like to sneak into peoples houses and kill them at night, but I also like to help people, so I'm good in public, but evil as hell at night. devilsmile.gif

Edit: I gues that meens evil...
Aki
My battlemage, which I oh so creatively named after myself is generally good. Though he might steal something expensive or some other things if he needs money.

My Khajiiti Assassin, Ri'Vakar is...kinda sorta evil. He's less evil and more...Amoral. He does want he wants, what feels good. Regardless of other's well-being. It so happens he enjoys killing. Among...other things. So he makes a fine assassin, as he's quite good at what he does. evillol.sml.gif
1234king
hey im back guys havent been on for a while, parents lost the internet bill. my first character will be a holy paladin, and then my second character will be a dark necro so it will vary depending on what type of guy i make
sirrom2007
Evil of course i mean if ur suppose to be good in real life y waste time doing the same thing in a game when u can do the exact oppisite.
Hanz baby
BEHOLD the evil over lord hanz, and his partner in crime shmoo shmoo the evil kitty!!! BWA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! if youll excuse me my pants need changing...
Mazelure
For the most part I am pure evil... but those who prove their loyalty to me are spared if not rewarded... those who are disloyal will find fates far worse than death and eternal damnation...
ThePerson98
In the end, I always turn out good in games.
Discobiscut
Good phew
Evil all the way.
I have just finished the thieves guild quest and now have the cowl, which allows you, among other things, to commit crimes with impunity.
Have just recently been clearing out the mages guild halls of all life.
And leaving those who only fall unconscious cowering in the corners screeming for the gaurds. You then take of the mask and walk into the town everybody non the wiser. I like walking up to the guards as they run towards the guild hall just to say hi.
Olav
For my first game I was a mix, which is quite necessary if you want to try all the quests.

For my next game I'll be all good, not joining the DB or Thieves Guild, and I'll try to keep infamy at 0.
Ibis
I tend to make my warrior types Good and my sorceress/battlemage type characters more evil but not totally bad.

But I'd kill anyone anytime for good housing. laugh.gif

Here! Here!

You know, I make conscience efforts to be good, and I feel bad when my infamy starts to outrank my fame...but I just end up being evil most of the time.

*shrug* I guess my character is always too much of a klepto to stay on the good side of the law... wink.gif
Ibis
Yeh, klepto is a big problem with me too and I'm just like those people who do it just for the thrill. It's not like I don't have the money. But I love to walk right into shops and just go up their stairways and start rutting around in their chests and cabinets and see what I can find that might be worth taking.

I have found that if you greet them first when entering the shop though, they are more likely to come up the stairway and say "Yes?" ... "Can I help you" ... or whatever. I haven't really thought of a good reason yet to tell them why I am tearing their bedroom apart! nono.gif
hunter14
i tend to be good even if i try to be bad. i just dont have it in me
but i do like to start some fights between civilans and gards
my monkeys sling poo in your face

I find it quite disturbing that there is no 'Neutral' option, but if I had to choose, I'd choose Good. Eventually in the long run, I'd want nothing but good as it's the best for everyone. If it means that occasionally someone would have to do something evil, so be it, and I wouldn't shudder to perform such a task. Usually, when roleplaying in the Forgotten Realms, I play Lawful Neutral. It's what I do best.
Lordban
Mhh, thread necromancy... ^^

It depends a lot on the game, but in Oblivion, it turned out to be clear Evil (Neutral Evil, in D&D terms).
Unsurprising for a natural assassin (as in: doesn't need Dark brotherhood contracts to murder on a regular basis).
paragenic
In DnD terms I would classify myself "Chaotic Neutral". But if I have to choose between "good" and "evil" I would have to choose good first, if only temporarily. It is less realistic for good to come from evil than evil to come from good.

That might be arguable; a proverbial example: "Evil feeds upon itself".
Silver-Fin
Good, always. The Committee of Concerned Shadowscales (CSS) believes that any mission undertaken for the greater glory of Argonia is inherently good, no matter how many dead bodies you have to dispose of. Or not, depending on the mission. Killing the Dunmer does not count as evil, is it is a public service for the greater good of Argonians everywhere.

Yes, my character is a bit psychotic.
Lord Veneficus
I'm more or less on the evil side. It gives me a thrill to run throught the town and kill like fifty guards with Goldbrand. Its so exhilirating. >:D
Arcalin
Good, because i've 570 fame points and 7 infamy (all these are from the times i killed a whole city biggrin.gif)
saqin
Evil, I just can not stop being interested in thievs and assassins, and that sorts of people. I also like running around killing people. And, I'm not very fond of running around and playing a saint.
Illydoor
I seem to have phases, like when I was doing the Kot9 quest, I went all saintly and heroic and whatnot. But for the dark brotherhood, I was so darn evil I killed all of Imperial City evillol.gif

After saving first of course closedeyes.gif
Colonel Mustard
Generally I play as 'ruthless' characters. They're good most of the time, but seem to be pretty uncompromising.
Syndelius Daerleth
I'm a little bit of both wink.gif
Zalphon
A noble hero smile.gif
SubRosa
Good Witch, Bad Witch... I'm the Witch with the broom...
Liam
I like the thrill of stealing or killing. So evil for me.

-Liam
mALX
My character is usually neutral. She has a good side, but is capable of theft or even killing (but choosy who she does it to)
TheOtherRick
I have always played "good" characters, both in TES games and Fallout games. Probably because I am a "good" person in real life. ("Good" is in quotes because none of us are perfect and we do have our "Not so Good" sides) devilsmile.gif
Petra Arkanian
Heheh. Eeeeeeeeeevil.

Once I had this one character who went on a killing spree and knocked off the whole town of Bravil. biggrin.gif

It got so that after a few minutes (once I had killed most everybody), the guards were all dead, and the Count, and nobody arrested me as I got the last ones. I deleted her, of course... cuz I 'accidentaly' killed Lucien Lachance and I love the assassins guild. I used to have people who were theifs (Ohh, once I robbed the Red Diamond Jewely Store biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif I could have retired just then), and I have a few Blades, but on the whole, I find being evil just so much more satisfactory.
Petra Arkanian
Of course, I find it hard to role-play when being evil (as I'm generally a good person), so sometimes I end up having a mage or an adventurer.

My most common role-play charater is a loner. I have a nice one called Medusa. She'll go into the woods and come out a year later in December to sell her pelts and think that its still June biggrin.gif

Good, definatly. I feel too guilty if im evil. Haha smile.gif
RagingMudcrab
I tend to play a Chaotic Good character, although I'm not afraid to veer into Chaotic Neutral territory occasionally, depending on the benefits. I used to play a more Neutral Good character, but that gets boring.

There is no evil nor are there good. Only perspective and point of view.

Chaotic Neutral and True Neutral. Some times Lawful Evil and Chaotic Good.

I agree, everyone has a touch of gray in them ...

Must be getting early
Clocks are running late
Paint by Number morning sky
Looks so phony

Dawn is breaking everywhere
Light a candle, curse the glare
Draw the curtains, I don't care
'Cause it's all right

I will get by
I will survive

I see you've got your fist out
Say your piece and get out
Yes I got the gist of it
But it's all right

Sorry that you feel that way
The only thing there is to say
Every silver lining's got a
Touch of grey

I will get by
I will survive

It's a lesson to me
The Ables and the Bakers and the C's
The ABC's we all must face
To try to keep a little grace

It's a lesson to me
The Deltas and the East and the Freeze
The ABC's we all think of
To try to win a little love

I know the rent is in arrears
The dog has not been fed in years
It's even worse than it appears
But it's all right

Cow is giving kerosene
Kid can't read at seventeen
The words he knows are all obscene
But it's all right

I will get by
I will survive

The shoe is on the hand it fits
There's really nothing much to it
Whistle through your teeth and spit
'Cause it's all right

Oh well, a touch of grey
Kind of suits you anyway
That was all I had to say
And it's all right

I will get by
I will survive

We will get by
We will survive
