I don't think I've told about my Avatar yet. But I'm sure many of you will recognize it. It is an artwork by our Geonox called The Mysteries of the Ocean and he gave me permission to use it as my personal avatar. He is a great artist and a very polite and nice human being.

Mine is Murray the Talking Skull from the last two Monkey Island PC games. Famous for being the font of all evil in his mind, and yet sadly missing every single one of his limbs, so all he can do is hurl threatening insults at your character, Guybrush.

The reason is because I've got Murray tattoo'd on my right arm.

And Tellie, I agree with milanius - I just adore that sweet little kitty and I guess I really do think of it as being you. My traveling companion cat, Bilbo Baggalaggins, used to talk to me when we were traveling in our volkswagon bug. So I know that cats can talk. And of course, everyone knows they can press the keyboard keys with their little paws. Why, they are probably faster typers than we are because the pads of their little paws fit the keys so well... lolol.

Ahh...good old swimming fish...Always swimming and a high pace but never slowing down. I got it when I first used the name Pisces (on Morrowindfiles) and did a gif search for Pisces in an attempt to find a Pisces symbol which I had seen somewhere else and really liked. Obviously I failed and have stuck with this one instead ever since. The fish's name is An6 by the way, sometimes its representative of me and sometimes it is my pet; depending on whether I am swimming around in circles at the time.

I have considered altering my avatar to add some scenery or something into the bowl to keep me entertained, I even tried editing the water into beer for some joke referance with Ibis but I never finished it. I have left it without scenery because I am busy enough trying to catch my own tail without be distracted by pretty scenery so for now my bowl will remain empty.


Also note that I used the orginial URL at MWF for about a year before the link became invalid and I had to use a picture hosting website, I think they noticed that I was wasting they're broadband (not that it takes up much).

I will add that there is nothing that can quite incite Cain to riotous madness than to see your innocent little goldfish swimming around in his fish bowl & he starts quizzing me = those people again?? That guy!?! He thinks of the bad joike that got played on Cedarlilly and equates it with the morrowindfile community - wrongly.

Anyway my avatar is off the cover of the Mr.Bungle album Disco Volante. I think its a dried viperfish over a womans eye. I think the only reason I have it is because I recently began to listen to Mr.Bungle, and I think they are amazing. So as I seem to have my avatars as things I enjoy, I put that one up.

Do you think that there should be some kind of Avatar help thread? You know, a thread where are instructions on resizeing and such, and skilled (voluntary) people to do the avatars for those that do not have the means or the patience.

Seen such on one other forum, there it worked pretty well.

That's a good idea, Minque. It could include how to make your Avvy and Siggy and tell people how to get a photo hosting account and what to do there. Some of the Photohosting sites are easier to use than others.

Also for when people are entering a single pic in their post ... tell them the format of :
