we really need more members. i only came here cause i was kicked out of the offiol forums that was full of fun good stuff what do we do.......... thats right noting i love oblivion biggrin.gif
Megil Tel-Zeke
personally I am happy with the number of members we have. nice fan base, not alot of trolls and the like get along pretty well here. also if we ahd more members the Rp would be bulging at the seams.

ED 209
I like the smallish no. we have here. It mens people actually know each other. I always treat W4O members with more respect on TES forums because they're about the only people there i know.
Ambberfox
I think the amount of people we have here now is ok, I really don't like forums which are too crowded because

1) too many people post, following a certain thread gets annoying
2) and you don't get to know the people so well wink.gif
minque
Not to mention the amount of work for us mods...... ohmy.gif

I haven't been to the offical forums for a long mainly because of how big it is. I like the small, intimate community.

I think you accidentally used the word "intimate" when you meant "immature". Or possibly even "inbred"... tongue.gif

Anyway, as some idiot like me would say - "We are have enough members for it to being a nice place for happy".
Soulseeker3.0
I like this its small enough that we can know each other a well as an online forums thing can let us and big enough that we can do all sorts of stuff..

remember the coffee shop? if we tried that on the official forums i would bet you it would become closed for spam and never to return within a couple of threads, not saying we are better then to official but just a lot more peope and it is easier to get off topic(I know i do it all the time at school tongue.gif)

Are you joking me? It takes days just to get one little reply,
DoomedOne
well, it takes days to get a reply for your post, but as far as the rping here goes, its rather cluttered, difficult to follow your own sub-plot.

We currently have 374 registered members, which is already more then most other Oblivion fan sites. If people find our forums attractive and wish to join I'll gladly welcome them, I'd like to have as many members as possible, however one thin I'll never do, is to resort to blatant advertisement or something similar as certain other fansites have done, posting random topics and posts simply asking people to join their forums. If people want to join, that would be great, if they don't, then that's fine too. It's their call really.
Darkwing
Well the beauty of it all is that its not a race. we dont need thousands of people to have a great forum really. its increasing steadily anyway so soon enough things will get more and more populated.
Wolfie
I like it the way it is, there's enough people to keep the forum nice and active, but there's also few enough that we all know each other, sort of
Fuzzy Knight
All I have to say is that its fine as it is, because u can look at how the Elder Scrolls forum is, to many idiots there. I would like to keep W4O the way it is, its a very very good forum as it is now, even thought it doesn't have so many members... smile.gif
Wurlon
How can you say it's nice because everyone knows each other? Anyone know who I am?
Wolfie
You're Wurlon, head of security for the Board of Evil Geniuses
Kiln
I'll admit, I don't know everyone but those who are active in fan fiction and the RP section, I know most of them. With expansion comes the more unfriendly people and problems of a larger site.

I gotta go...storms...

What makes you think we don't already do? user posted image

Seriously though. Opinion aside, I think we'll see a growth in the number of users once the game is actually released, because then there'll be all the people asking for mods and help with mods and game hints and whathaveyou.

Yeah, but its also possibly that attendance will slack of once the game is realsed. Its happened to many fansites I've seen. But I think things here will probably boost.

EDIT: uhh... I like the number of members we have now, but more wouldn't be bad. There, back on topic.

Hush you >;D

I actually changed my mind, I'm quite happy how small this is. In the big ES forums you get new people who don't know where to post every two seconds. Plus I'm beginning to do lots of stuff with people, I had a lot of fun in the evil collaboration thread.
doctor
i havent been on the site since april 11th, so i do nt know everyone, but every forum should get new members every once in a while, so i voted yes, but i agree largely with others, as if w4o got too big, it would lose its charm, and probably become more of a iwanthelpsite than a fansite once the game is released, as is said by stargelman

and would become more like the es forums on the official site with more threads for help than discussion for morrowind etc.

I should have joined this months ago but I only found out by looking at Stargazey's signature in the ES forums..

It seems as the majority of the posters in this thread like the w4o forums the way they are.....thatīs nice.... tongue.gif
