Did Serene REALLY think Anthanes to be her long-lost son? Because he isn't, really. His mother was a dunmer and he's five years too old to be her son. Would have been very cool if it was, however.

Anywho's tell me what you guys think of New Vivec.

This will be my first RP on this forum, you guys follow any interesting basics? As far as I know, it just goes in order with everyone posting but do you guys do anything different here than otherwise?

Not so far as I know from participating in the last one. The only rules are the general forum rules and no killing or dismemberment of another person's character without their permission. I think that's pretty much it I believe.

We do follow a posting rule.

During events, we ask that when you post, you first post a post saying "posting" then return to the thread. If there are other posts before yours waiting to be edited then you must wait your turn before editing your post. It's basically putting down a placeholder in the thread, to ensure you are not skipped.

Reason for this is simply that it prevents chaotic posts, and also keep the storyline. The exceptions to the rule, are if during an event you are elsewhere (in the RP) and not involved, then you can skip the line and post.

So, if someone's not on and not directly relevant to the particular sub-plot you're involved in, you can just post with the other people directly involved in your plot right?

or if the place is just completely deserted.

The only time the rule really matters is during fights and arguments so far as I can tell. So if you're not in the immediate area of what's going on then you can post freely.

alright here's an example.

A,B,C,D, and E are all in camp Zed. a fight breaks out there. meanwhile T,S,U are else where.

Scene: fight breaks loose, attackers charge,

minque, how much is Serene a redoran supporter (you did say redoran, right?) and how much does she contribute to the redoran?

cause i'm thinking of starting out the rp with my character assassinating someone elses. of course he won't succeed but i thought serene would be an interesting target what with jonacin by her side and all.

Serene is born redoran.....raised redoran....but also has sympathies for Telvanni as being a mage her teacher was Baladas Demnevanni....

Where do you guys stand on moding?

Like, I'm thinking about giving my character a spell that drains all his MP but would do, in game terms, enough to kill the average creature. It's a chilling touch, and it could greatly wound or kill you, but he has to have full MP to perform it and he's balanced out because he's a spellsword meaning he relies heavily on spells, but doesn't know very many other spells. Also, he has to be able to touch you and concentrate on the spell or it will fail.

Ok, here's my little rant.

Basically, to tell the truth, this story is bland.

Fighting, fighting, arguing, fighting.

And it's all against eachother.

How much easier would it be, if someone was to blame? If there was a "evil guy" behind the whole thing. One big conspiracy. I could live with that.

As a legion man, I feel that the legion is going to have a VERY VERY hard time, doing anything at all. Pratically, everyone is against us, even though we fought and died 5 years ago.

If there is more plans to this story, beisdes just "House Wars" in general, please say so.

I would appreciate some evil intriguing amongst the redoran councillors.....and retainers hehe

The house wars is a work in progress, little has been decided thus far. This RP is being ran by Chaos and Aki I believe so you should PM them with any ideas you have.

I agree the houses need to start doing some conspirating. I mean, ashlanders are being hunted at this time right? That gives me a good story, but its time there was more plotwork against the legion and more insidious, inreedmable actions by some of the superiors.

good point, also some action in Vivec will ensure i get into the action soon. so that would be appreciated, but not mandatory if the action is to start elsewhere.

I only see one problem

the septim is gold so therefore it is based on a golden standard, set pretty much by the rarity of gold.

so technically gold cannot loose market value, becuase it is just that ,gold. it will always be precious and rare metal.

and one of the few that can be flattened to sheets so thin you can see through them.(bu that's irrelevant lol)

but sure if you wish to have it loose value i won't complain, don't want to crumble part of the foundation of this RP.

The septim lost value in markets because it is imperial money. But the Houses have set up their own system of Currency, only useable in their cities.

Well just melt all the imperial coins and reforge them as house coins, no need to make gold less valuable.

that mean's vivec has like 2 currncies, 3 if u include the morag tong? right?O.o do telvanni have a headquarters in vivec? mmayb they should in New Vivec. shoot it's got the best and highest real estate in Vvardenfell .

Mayb during the RP telvanni can come and approach the vivec council requesting permission to buil a hall in the city. *lol*

Well, basicly yeah, they melted the Imperial money and now there are three currencies, but not for the Morag Tong, they just accept any money they are given depending on location.

I'm gonna shove Falx (and meh other dude) into Vivec somehow. Like I said, perhaps Falx and Megil should know each other.

haha, think of it, while Megil was overseeing the reconstruction of Vivec, Falx helped him make the defenses stronger .. just a thought though.

Wait, so are imperials like bad guys to everyone here? I mean it would seem so being that the imperial are the leaders of the legion...

Fine by me, I'll know him. though remember Osano told Megil. so once Megil knows Falx's name, he will have some hidden contempt for the man, though he will be forgivan over time. especially if he contineus his good works.
