K well I'm trying to get back into doing some more artwork, but schedule is busy and what not, with college and all.
SO I'm just gonna share things as they come, starting of is this sketch i drew. not really TES related, but It's sort of using some of my features to draw this elf. i never finished of his hair, but i don't see any reason to really.

Will add more, as I get more lol.

lol, yah there's lot's wrong, but it's a sketch and it will remain as is.
here's another one that is pretty old, and interesting entirely CG on PAINT! old school, and tedious therefore dropped after a while. In fact in hindsight, I have no idea why i continued on with the project. LOL
just play as a slideshow it is really cool. at least i think it is

sry. I'm jsut a geek, and I like how they sort of accuretly base it on plato's four elements theory, which is the basis for alchemy later inhistory. and i like how it follwos the rules of chemistry at teh same time.... well with the exception of the 4 elemens, since there are 110 or so elements.
And I'm getting better at not using a model for my drawings, like i only used Hughe's face for the drawing, the rest is my own work. and it is freehad i didnt trace the face. I have a barista picture that I am in the preliminary stages of, drawing it without a model.

no worries, i too am a geek. used to watch Inuyasha, now i'm tired of the lack of plot advancement... and i LOVE Trigun
but anyway it really is a nice drawing. i wonder why i can't draw... maybe it's genetic or something.

lol dunno, I just spend a lot of time on things. Seeing as how i've spent much of my day in bed due to my wisdom teeth, I have had plenty of time to draw it.
I think another reason why I based it on hughes is that that hand motion is precisely what i had in mind for the edwards drawing. sicne i do it all the time( dunno why i just don't like a full hand wave) and it seems to be something hughes does a lot.

But "VASH THE STAMPEDE" poppped up first...
A bit absurd, since Vash is blond.

by request from channler. Yes it's very rough. I tried to draw it with perspective, and it was my first time drawing a gun. Hopefully it's not to bad.

Not bad at all Megil, nice that you catch the reflecting lighting in the scope on the pistol too...

Oct 7 2005, 09:24 PM
oh oh do Mark next

i mean you dont have to or nuthin...
and the drawing of juac is very nice and i like that emblem that you did for the HDF
as for the gun, you say its your first? because that bullet is insanely huge for a handgun. but i like it that way, gives the picture a more interesting feel and adds to the whole cocky naval pilot stereotype.
and the scope/light thingy lookes really cool also with the whole light glare off of it.
Megil Tel-Zeke
Oct 7 2005, 09:28 PM
yah I realize the bullet was a bit big, but since the guns are magnetic now I guessed that the bullets could be longer. since they would not longer need to have ammunition packed into the casings.
Hmm i'll see what I can do with Mark. mgiht as well try drawing him. i have nothing else to do lol.

This one looks interesting Megil... Nice to see that your posting the development of your work

That way you can get advice too without needing to change much...
Anyway.. Looks good so far... Only one thing, if she is resting her head on her hand you should try to move the hand a little more against the face so the hand palm or what you call it is under the chin - Seems more natural. Or it might just be me

Alright well I'm still working on the girl, but ehre is another picture I have started for a friend. She jokingly asked me if i could draw her a butterfly, I said sure. and well just drawing a butterfly was boring, o i have expanded on it to what you see below, Its a prelim shot, and i haven't finished adding the flower or butterfliys. the picture will be title plum blossoms and butterflies, for ovbious reasons

ah yes, those are very evolutionary works. the usually take several weeks or months to come into shape. In essence they start out as doodles when I'm bored, often an interesting line that catches my fancy. i then work of the line adding on to itand sometimes changing it. everytime it drawn it changes. When I get to go home for Thanksgiving I will scan a variation of the one I have posted here. I don't have alot as I bec ome addicted to one and don't stop until I think it's good. and even then I might go back and add something else.
