wat are your favorite elder scrolls races and why? mine are the dark elves.

What happened to the "and why" part?

I remember the big feuds on the official forums between people who liked certain races, and they'd form cliques based on the races they liked. Then it was like they were racist but not really because the high elf fans would be like, "Damned darkies" and the the norse would always complain about their jobs being stolen by orcs, and of course there are alls those jokes about the myth that the bosmer are "ill-equiped" when everyone knows that bosmer women =made up that rumor themselves to give them an excuse for being thrown out of thier homes for nagging so much.

I like all races equally, but my favorite character is an Imperial.

I pretty much like all the races, but i like the Dunmer best, simply for the way they look.

Oh lord, I remember the gang wars they used to have. Thousands flamed, some banned, oh the humanity. Anyway, I thik mine are Redguards and Nords. Redguards because of their strange and troubled history, their way of life and their wars and Nords because they fit in with the history/mythology I like, they remind me of Celts, They have a cool religion and they're way of life. Go Rednords!

My favorites the Nords. They got the whole celtic/viking thing goin' on. My family was Irish barbarians. In fact, one day my family got bannish from a village and came back the next night and killed all of 'em in thier sleep. My family has issues with betrayal.

Toss up between Redguard and Dunmer, but Nord are pretty cool too

I think my favourite race is the Bosmer because they have such a facinating lifestyle and customs (what other race can transform themselves into hell spawn through a religious custom, eats their own, and refuses to harm a plant?). I think the 2 book series "Dance in Fire" and "King Edward" might have something to do with me liking them.

The Dunmer. They look great and I like their varied and intricate culture.

Imperial ..they´re just classic roman.....but then again,the Dunmers are awesome...hmm

Strangely, I think I like argonians best Dunmer are cool too (love their culture and their history in Vvardenfell) as are Bretons and Redguards.

Even though I have never met a Bosmer I have ever liked and never have been a big fan of their voices I like Wood Elves. I'm not sure why, but my first character in both Morrowind and Daggerfall was a Wood Elf. Poor Gerrit... why'd you have to be deleted? *Tear*

Hmmm... I really like all of the races except Imperials (not sure why though). It really depends. If I were actually playing the game, I would usually choose Bosmer, Altmer, or Dunmer. It also depends on what kind of character I would RP (thief, healer, assassin, etc).

But, my very most favorite races would have to be... Altmer and Dunmer. Altmer, because there is a certain air about them, and they seem to be less... grumpier than Dunmer. And I just like their looks and history. Also, I like their golden-skin color.

Dunmer because they are very realistic in behavior and, well, they look so handsome and cool. They are definitely the best-looking assassins and thieves. They also seem to be very well-rounded in terms of skills.

Yeah, Altmer are cool, but I don't like some of their attitudes. They seem very class oriented. Dunmer are cool but they seem so mean. I can't blame them though, one day you're gold, then you're grey, then you're "invaded" by Imperials. Personnaly, I don't like Imperials but I think Tiber Septim is a good guy.

I love the looks of argonians and khajiits, but I love playing as nords.
