That's nothing. So Let's see, I woke up at 4 am one morning to load a bunch of lumber into a truck to get a half-day's works done lugging logs up and down a hill. So anyway, then I have football practice, and I have to sprint to Tae Kwon Do straight after that for a burn day, to which I came home and collapsed for 15 hours.

blink.gif ... blink.gif ... blink.gif wow. The worst I have ever done is a 6 mile hike after staying up all night... blink.gif
King Death
Probably, being up for 36 hours with lots of random sports activities and running spries thrown in.

Nothing. I redefine the word 'Slacker'.

I suppose there's the time I actually made my homework... biggrin.gif

Got done with track and field, then played football, then played trip tag, then had a tackle fight, then slept. Yay!

Training Camp or what we can call it... blink.gif

Up at 07:00, push-ups, sitt-ups etc. for two hours. No break, just train and train harder. After that we needed to run at least 5 km, while running we were going through hard terrain, climbing and swimming over rivers. None stop, until we reached a little mountain where we had a 20 min break before going off again... It was like that for 3 days, but from 07:00 - 20:00 with some breaks, but really was like beeing in the army, down and crawl in the mud and all that. Nothing I would recommend for someone that doesn't like training. But after those 3 days I skipped school for 4 days, was so tried pluss I had gotten a cold and neck problems...

It was exhausting - but after that I was actually feeling good about my self only managing those 3 days biggrin.gif

Out from there the old running training, that was connected to the football was once to twice a week. Where we needed to run 5 km, before having 5 min break before running up and down a very steep hill at least 10 times, before running down to the football field and do some strength training there. Really, it was hard the first time and it was also at the winter. Was glad I had snow to dive into at the end of the training tongue.gif
ShogunSniper
rode my bicycle into a dried up river bed (about 8 feet deep) cut my leg then walked (with my bike mind you) 1 mile up a VERY steep hill

I sometimes get close to doing homework, but it seems that concentrating on things makes me too hot and gives me a headache, preventing me from ever doing any work for more than 5 minutes.

I got up to get a bottle of water... joking..

We had to run the mile for 5th grade, and it ended up that like half the class cheated and we had to do it over again.... I fell to the ground ....

It's the subtle difference between £8.99/month and bugger all/month biggrin.gif

Once, I ran from Portugal to eastern America in three months, I broke a sweat. No, seriously, probably just doing all nighters or something.

Probably doing the territorial army recruitment weekend. 2 days of solid physical excercise like carrying a log between 4 people over 2 miles as well as a 2km sprint.

I threw up about 5 times. lol

2 km eh? Tomorrow I'm doing a 2.5 (though it may actually be a 5.5, not sure though) run called the Terry Fox Trot, a run in hopes to support Terry Fox's dream of not only raising Cancer awareness, but finding even better ways to treat Cancer.

Oh, and if you didn't know, Terry Fox was a 22 year old man who with the support of his family, tried to run across Canada. He had lost his leg due to Cancer at the age of about 18, and dipped his prothsthetic leg in the sea arond Newfoundland (Canada's most eastern provence) and ran 44 km a day in hopes to dip his prothsthetic leg in the sea touching British Columbia (Canada's most western province). He ran all day, every day, and would sleep in his van or hotels that gave him housing. He made it to Thunder Bay Ontario, before dieing due to his Cancer. Due to this, we now celebrate his run every year by running huge races (In most you can get to the finish point through anything like bikes, roller blades, walking, pushing a stroller) and marathons in his memory.

Ok, may be old thread, but I couldn't resist.

A 30km hike through Iceland, in the bitter cold, clothes so wet that you felt like a swimming pool, and and worst bit was that the terrain was so mountainy, that it took just ages to get forward. The burgers afterwards were ok though...... biggrin.gif
yum
Hmmm this may not be physical, but I once worked on a massive report about Jhon C. Fremont for 2 weeks straight, getting absoulty no breaks besides eating, or getting 4 hours of sleep a night. I got a B on the report indifferent.gif
