Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to mourn, reminisce, and even celebrate the lives of those who have fallen. Whether they leave us in the Capital Wasteland, Mojave desert, Boston's Commonwealth, or any areas found in Fallouts 1, 2, or West Virginia, here is they shall lie.

Eulogy: Not much is known about this fellow Justin Tyme. It appears he showed up in the Mojave some time in the as a drifter, who quickly took the wrong paths in life, following the wayward scumbag Powder Gangers to his very end!

Marge N. Overra

Born: August 13, 2258
Died: ? ?, 2278

Eulogy: A former child of Vault 101, Marge left the vault at nineteen years of age, and continued deep into the Wasteland. Though the cause of her demise is not known, Marge's remains were found eventually somewhere near the area of Old Olney by her childhood friend Cho Zen Wan. Cho was able to identify Overra due to specific items found scattered at the scene.

Images of Marge are rare, but here she stands just outside of Megaton. The Wasteland was blessed to have such a talented scout, scavenger, and computer nerd living within its midst for a while.

Uncle. smile.gif Nikov Tyme shall be his uncle, who emigrates eventually from Russia.

Major Andrew Holl

Born: August 1, 2257
Died: ? ?, 2278

Eulogy: Another deserter of Vault 101, Major Andrew Holl (jokingly called Major A. Holl) longed to live a soldier's life, in a century devoid of organized military. Andrew explored to the north end of the Wasteland, whereupon he came across a bizarre sort of vessel which is rumored to be an alien ship, crash-landed into the ground. Though his remains have never been found, his Pipboy was located just outside the vessel. And it's well known that whoever goes into the alien ship (if that's indeed what it is) never comes out.

This thread is making me feel bad about all of my abandoned characters, lol
Lopov
Phew, I have a whole graveyard of fallen characters both from FO3 or FNV. I probably don't even remember them all. To begin, I'll list some from FO3.

Deeno

cause of death: mirelurk hunters

Unfortunately no pics of Deeno are available because they were on some Slovenian server that no longer exists. Some forumites may still remember him, though. He had very bright blue eyes and was quite good-looking, but he was quite a bad guy actually. He blew up Megaton and committed some other vile acts across the Capital Wasteland. He was killed by some mirelurk hunters close to Dukov's Place.

Emily

cause of death: fall from height in the Rivet City

Quite a silly death, but that's how it was. During one of her walks on the deck of the Rivet City, Emily oversaw some hole (I guess) and fell down to her death, landing on hard rocks under the carrier.

Rattler

cause of death: suicide

I don't think I need to say more about Rattler, he was quite "popular" on these forums years ago. Lots of forumites were really "sad", when his story was over, because he was an impersonation of a "wasteland paladin". After his death I received numerous PMs from various members, begging me to revive him.

ATM no more come to my mind from FO3 but I most definitely forgot someone. I have more of them from New Vegas because I've spent more time in the Mojave altogether.
Winter Wolf
@Lopov- Oh yes, Rattler was the best Fallout character ever! Such a bad boy he was and so much fun.

**

I never played dead is dead, although Fallout would be the best type of game to try it on. I did collect a death rate for each character and wrote it down. It was fun to remember the location and type of death. I must go find my old notes.

Fallout was a great game to set limits on the build to keep him/her underpowered and keep the combat wild and dangerous. It was a game I loved to die in, lol.
RaderOfTheLostArk
I think of how compelling a Dead is Dead playthrough could be, but I can't bring myself to actually try it. If I had a litany of characters and was a more strict roleplayer, I'd be much more likely to do it.

My condolences to the fallen. May they rest in peace. (Unless they were supposed to be terrible people. In which case, good riddance.)
