Can someone point me please at a picture hosting website that can be used for uploading an avatar to here?

No, I am not completely mad, only partially. I've tried uploading from my blog site at wordpress - error: URL string too long; idem from Google Drive; from Gravatar - error: invalid extension jpeg; from short URL - error: invalid file type (no extension)... I don't want to go joining every website out there just to see whether their URL is suitably formatted... :s

So please help?

When you get the image that you want right click on the picture and do a copy image address, then on this site go to your avatar option in your settings and click "Enter a URL to an online avatar image", if the picture is to big, use the two options on the bottom and set the height and width to 90 and that should allow you to upload your avatar from Imiger.
