Here’s a place where we can list traits that we have researched so that we can coordinate our efforts for the difficult to acquire items. I doubt this will be useful after a few of us have researched everything, but for now it might come in handy.

Rather than listing every trait I’ll start with the super rare ones.


Brynja knows the following in nirnhoned:

Inferno Staff
(Restoration Staff – currently researching)


Brynja knows the following in jewelry:

All traits except trinue ring.
(Triune necklace – currently researching.)

Fleur has not taken Jewelry that far and only knows the base three, plus of course infused. We haven't bought any Exemplary pieces, and she's not doing the quest lines for Protective. Swift hasn't dropped yet, but she'll not refuse it when it does.

Her one Nirnhorned piece was appropriately an axe, and is still in research.

For regular armour, her targets were Divines for herself, on Cuirass, Guards, Bracers, Boots, and Sash/Belt leaving head/shoulders for Undaunted. She also did Training, so she can make sub-CP sets for new characters, in most weights for the same slots.

She can certainly make a decent set of Julianos' for a mage, or Fortified Brass for a tank, but some traits may have gaps.

No Training for Axe or Mace. Six traits or more in all except Robe and Epaulets, Helm, Mace and Maul.

Updated state of Fleur's crafting.

There's about a dozen item/traits that just aren't dropping for us. Anyone want to trade for something she can make? The Nirnhoned and Jewels aren't of any concern, but we keep getting Master Writs for those gaps!

Elke could fill in seven of the gaps. She put Fleur's research items in the new EU Guild Bank.


Elke knows all of the jewelry traits but has none of the trait items, so just let her know if you want any of those made. Right now she has research items waiting, but she will definitely check with Fleur when she runs out!

Fleur was so delighted with the news, that she went right out and designed a new tabard for the guild (there may have been some plagiarism involved).

Fleur's current traits.

We found the missing maul, but the other gaps are stubborn. Tiddli and Nadja's Nirnhoned pieces are under research - both armour, so just needing Fortified to reproduce.

Brynja has the sword and dagger items for research but no open slot yet. She'll do those next and send them to Fleur (might need a reminder). They are both bound or we'd send them now and just ask for a research piece later. The cuirass is one that my crew has never seen, either.

Brynja has all jewelry researched but no trait items in her craft bag. She'll happily swap trait items for the research pieces if you find any. My EU crew is sadly neglected these days. I have been logging in every day, though. Must get the waitress!!

The reason we haven't updated in so long is that nothing has happened. Fleur is still waiting for that cuirass and greatsword to drop, although she did find the missing dagger. With no new members on the team, and spending all our gold on tables, we haven't acquired any more Nirnhoned pieces.

I'm giving some consideration to buying Exemplary jewelry so that she can do writs that require more traits, although the availability of Dawn Prism and Slaughterstone means we won't be doing Triune or Bloodthitrsy ones. But an Arcane Eyes of Mara takes 8 traits, so maybe.

That was the reminder I needed! Brynja dropped a greatsword and a cuirass in the guild bank for Fleur. Here's an update of what she knows, not including Woodworking and Jewelry which she has fully researched.



The EU crew hasn't done much adventuring, so she's bought the nirnhoned items so far. I will check to see if they got any rare jewelry trait materials in the last craft event.


Update: No Dawn Prism or Slaughterstone, but she did get some Fortified Nirncrux. Ready to craft some nirnhoned armor if needed!

I just mailed six Powered CP10 weapons (Blacksmith and Woodworker) to mALX for research. If Grits sends Clothier/Jeweler stuff for the same row, we can get her research catch-up going.

A screenshot from Trait Buddy or Craft Store to show the gaps would help us see what's needed and avoid sending what Tessla already knows.

Note that I'm using Calcinium as it's totally useless for my characters. Any new character will use levels 1-50 and then skip straight to CP160, so this uses up the junk mats from Calcinium to Voidsteel (and equivalents). I don't know if the material level affects how much inspiration you get from research, but it can't hurt.

Good plan. I just sent the top row of Clothing plus all of the rings and necklaces I could make since there are fewer of those to research. There are some jewelry traits that I don't have the trait material for, but maybe they will turn up on our adventures.
