I need to know how to zip up a folder using winzip. Do I just find the program buried in the computer and chose the folder that way? Or am I missing some great detail? Please help.
MerGirl
I'm not sure what you are asking... You mean, open a folder? Or do you need to put some mod files into a folder using WinZip? huh.gif

Or are you trying to 'zip' a folder for your own mod?

Right click, and choose add to archive.

ya thats it. wink.gif not to hard.
Konji
isnt that only if you have WINrar?
Mazuk
No that can be used for just about any zip program.
Fuzzy Knight
WinRAR is best... I used WinZip first, now WinRAR much much better smile.gif
Mazuk
I have used them all.. WinRAR is better because it opens all of them regardless.

I also used to have Winzip . . now I use Winrar as well.
MerGirl
I use both... But, since I never have 'zipped' a folder for a mod before, I wouldn't know. But, for opening folders, I use both of them and if not, then I usually use 7-Zip or whatever it's called. smile.gif

Anyway, if it's Archives, I'm pretty sure both WinZip and WinRAR have it.

Well I could never get Winrar or 7-zip to work for me (Much to my... displeasure...) so I am stuck with Winzip. First thing tomorrow I will post my tiny mod. Be on the look out! Please...
